Turns out I was wrong; Twilight's friends don't join her (Spike aside). She just meets their human counterparts, more or less. Which actually makes me a little more nervous about how this will turn out.

The whole "You look like my friend/brother/sister/mother/father/second uncle's dog's original owner" thing is pretty overdone. And with rumours that the movie will only be a little over an hour long, that means by my calculations, half the movie will just be Twilight trying to get used to being around lookalikes of her friends.

I'm still gonna give it a chance, of course, but I'm looking forward to it a little less.
