Knuckling Down and Bringing Things to Order · 9:58am Mar 20th, 2014
Alright, every time I try to sit down and write the next chapter, I find myself re-reading what I wrote last, wondering why I was taking things in that direction, and rewrite it all to take things in a completely different direction. As you can imagine, this was getting more and more frustrating and taking more and more time as I had to juggle more and more plot points and character progressions, and I finally got to the point where I rewrote the same thing several times, making no actual
You still here? The story you're writing is very good.
1722391 That is all I ask, I'm sure, some of your more, quieter fans, are just as patient as i am. I for one know one thing, I'll still keep checking to see if you updated, if you haven't, well, just means I gotta wait.
I've waited years for stories to update, I've waited years for things to be done in my RL, Patience is truly something I have in spades. You take your time, I'm sure you'll get your muse back sooner or later, and you'll update. Don't keep us waiting too long though, lol.

Thanks - it really does mean a lot.
It's just hard, as I'm re-reading it and realizing how much I left out, and how much I screwed up the characters - some of the complaints about the story (made by others) were very valid, and I neglected some of the characters and their development. Unfortunately, I have a full time job now (programming, yay!), and that along with the commute saps a lot of my creative energy.
Moreover, I need to be in the right mindset to write this story... As this is, in part, a testament to what God can do and His forgiveness of our sin - how He can turn even the worst of people good, and how even the best of people need Him - it can be difficult to express that and keep that in mind while having Sombra remaining completely ignorant of it.
Anyway... I really do need to get back into writing this. I don't know when I'll have time or the right mindset... But, perhaps, I can just work up the gumption and start doing it again.
