Derpy is putting Dinky to sleep and proceeds to read her a story. I have always loved the stories written and illustrated by Eric Carle, so I decided to do a crossover. This story is based off of Eric Carle's Walter the Baker. After that it's episodic events when somepony reads a story to either Dinky and/or Sparkler.

Edit: So, a lot of my followers loved this story so much that they've talked me into ponifying more children's books. So, if you want me to ponify a book you liked as a child, give me the title and the author in the comments or on my blog and I'll see what I can do.

This is a story about Nightcore, a master assassin who has to go into hiding after balking his latest mission. But it's not as easy as he had hoped, cause you get allot of enemies when you decapitate the friends of people in high places. All he has to do is blend in until this all blows over. Only one tiny problem. Nightcore is not an average pony. He's a half breed, and his father was a dragon.

I had a dream the other night where there was this couple who owned an old barn that was falling apart. Their daughter was playing in the barn when it collapsed on her and I woke up. It reminded me of Lesson zero when RD blows up the old barn, so, i decided to quickly typed this up before I forgot it. This is my first Fanfic ever, so please go easy on the hating.
