Bookshelf Classification

I organize stories into the following bookshelves, based on nothing but pure subjectivity:

Low Priority Read Later: Stories with a premise that I find marginally interesting, or stories I find much more interesting but that contain subject matter I'm not keen on, such as sex or gratuitous gore.

Medium Priority Read Later: Stories with a premise that I find interesting, but not enough to get excited about.

Top Priority Read Later: Stories with a premise that I find very interesting, and that I think I would have fun reading.

B: Another read later shelf. Stories with a premise that I find beautiful and meaningful. Questions about and reflections upon life, love, depression, hope, triumph, etc.

Favourites: Stories that I enjoyed reading.

B Favourites: Stories that I found emotionally powerful, meaningful, and beautiful. These stories are special to me, and I could call them all my favorite pieces of fiction.

Top Favourites: Stories that I loved, but not quite at the level of B Favourites. These are great stories and still special to some degree.

In addition, story length heavily affects how willing I am to read something. I prefer long-form stories. Thus, even if a premise interests me greatly, I will hesitate to read it if the word count is less than 100k, and the story will likely be placed in a lower priority bookshelf.
