How can Discord overcome boredom in his stone prison?
For a second time Discord is trapped and while he may seem immobile, his mind is still active and bored. But something went wrong when the Mane 6 imprisoned him and he gained interesting abilities. He can use them to create anything, his little world, bunnies, even chocolate milk. What will Discord do? Will he be able to finally enjoy some Chaos?

Inside the majestic Canterlot sculpture garden stands a statue like no other. It looks like you would literally take everything you could find under a sink and smash it together. It has the head of a pony with a deer antler and a goat horn, arm of an lion and all sorts of body parts from different creatures. To be accurate that statue represents Discord - Draconequus (or Chimera...whichever you prefer), Spirit of Disharmony and Chaos. Few ponies know that it isn't just a statue representing Discord...it is actually Discord himself. He is imprisoned in stone so he can't hurt anyone and/or spread chaos. Thanks to Princess Celestia and Princess Luna he was imprisoned once but he managed to escape. Then the Mane Six trapped him inside the stone prison for a second time, and now everypony slowly forgot about the mayhem that Discord spread. But inside the stone prison he is still alive and well...bored. The spell that trapped him works on both levels - physical and mental. We can see Discord as a statue but what Discord mind sees is a big plane of... nothingness. Just an infinite white plane where Discord is alone.
"Here am I once more" Discord thinks, "Why couldn't those meddlesome ponies let me enjoy the Chaos for little bit longer?". "Now I am trapped here, possibly forever, and there is nothing here except me, white, and some more white...what would I give for just a glass of chocolate milk!" And as soon as Discord thought about chocolate milk a glass of that delicious liquid appeared in front of him. "Interesting...I couldn't do that last time...I wonder..." and then for about 2 hours Discord thought about all kinds of things, stars, balloons and even silly things like a cat-a-pult. And everything Discord thought about appeared right in front of him. There is no explanation why Discord had these powers in his prison reality, but do we really have to know the reason for everything?
After having fun with creating random objects and then destroying them Discord decided it's time to have even more fun. "To enjoy chaos I first need somepony to spread the chaos on. Where is the fun in chaos if I am the only one who will see it?". And thus began Discord's attempts to create life. Even though he is the Spirit of Chaos and wants to create everything to be...well like him : twisted and wicked. His first attempts were too bizarre even for him. We could see, if we would be in Discord mind, amazing creations like the bunnyshark, the snakepony, the dragonmouse and of course the lionbird. But nothing Discord created satisfied him. "What is the point of spreading chaos on beings that are already made of chaos?". And then Discord realized what he must do. He must recreate Equestria, exactly how it was in the real world. Equestria from which he was banished twice. Because when he transformed Equestria into his own chaos land, then he was truly happy, as he could spread chaos on all beings made from Harmony. He wanted it to be perfect. An exact replica of Equestria, every detail had to be same. Even those ponies that banished him. "Where would be the fun in spreading mayhem if there wouldn't be tiny chance of me losing the battle, right?" Discord asked himself. "But now that I know what those ponies are capable of, I am prepared, and as much as I dislike it...I must be careful".
First he recreated Ponyville in every tiniest detail same as the true Ponyville. Sugarcube Corner, Sweet Apple Acres, Carousel Boutique, Twilight's Library and everything else there is in Ponyville was there. When he inspected the whole of Ponyville and he decided it's in perfect Harmony (Because what is opposite of chaos? Well Harmony, and to spread chaos fully, everything must be in Harmony) he continued creating rest of the Equestria. Canterlot with its majestic beauty, Everfree Forest ever so wild and untamed (Discord's personal favorite), Cloudsdale where Pegasi live, Froggy Bottom Bog - A land where foul things live, Appleloosa which was just a barren wasteland "Not for long though" Discord smiled. Next in line was Fillydelphia where parasprites struck hardest, and then he created every other land there is in Equestria. After creating those lifeless lands (Discord wanted to create the world first, and then to create life), Discord rested for a while enjoying cotton candy clouds and chocolate milk. After resting Discord continued with the re-creation of Equestria.
"Now the stage is set, the playground which will make my prison a little less unbearable, let's make this FUN!" Discord snickering put all of his newfound powers into a single spell...to create true life, pure and full of harmony. Surprisingly he managed to do that on his first try. In front of him stood a pony, exactly the same pony as we would find in the real Ponyville. After the pony saw him he screamed and ran away into one of the many houses of Ponyville. Discord smiled, he summoned a glass of chocolate milk once more, he put on his freshly summoned cool hipster glasses and he started to bring life to his Equestria. Everything from ponies and bunnies to dragons and manticores. After recreating life in his Equestria Discord shouted "It's time to spread some chaos...FINALLY". He shouted it so loud it seemed almost like a thunderstorm, everypony heard him...at least in nearest vicinity such as Ponyville, Canterlot, Everfree Forest and Cloudsdale.
Pinkie Pie was sleeping in Sugarcube Corner, when suddenly thunderstorm wakes her. "Hey, that isn't nice Rainbow Dash told me there will be no storm today" Pinkie Pie angrily said, but as soon as she finished being angry (which lasted for just few seconds) she was again smiling and happily jumping downstairs for breakfast. But what Discord didn't expect, what he couldn't expect, was that his spell was too perfect. He didn't just create replica of Equestria. He created exact copy of Equestria. Everypony looked same as they did in Ponyville, they had same memories, and they were simply identical to their real Equestria counterparts. One could even say that from this point on there was no fake/real Equestria. Discord managed to create another reality, a reality that will probably continue to exist even after Discord breaks from his prison once more (but that will most likely never happen). Pinkie Pie being silly as she always is ate a whole cake in one bite, said goodbye to Mr. and Mrs. Cake and heads out to Ponyville.
Discord decided he will first see how good his creation is and he made himself invisible as he stayed high above Ponyville, watching what his creations were going to do. He couldn't help but to smile when he saw Pinkie Pie, one of the ponies he could thank for imprisoning him. He then scouted the whole of Equestria just to make sure that everything went smoothly and that there is life where it's supposed to be. After making sure his god-like act went...well perfectly, he returned to watch what was happening in Ponyville.
All of the ponies who participated in second imprisonment of Discord were outside playing with their pets, even Spike was there. They were enjoying the sun, having no idea what will soon happen. How could they expect it anyway? For all they cared Discord was safely trapped in his stone prison and there was no danger whatsoever...how they were wrong.
"Its time to spread some chaos" Discord laughed. "Where should I start? Oh I know let's start with good old chocolate rain clouds". And all over Equestria, not just Ponyville, cotton candy clouds started appearing from which chocolate rain begins to fall. Pinkie Pie noticed it first. Her heart almost exploded with joy as she ran, faster then anypony ever ran, under the cloud because she remembered how delicious that chocolate milk from the cotton candy clouds was. Twilight realized what appearance of cotton candy clouds means, but she didn't want to believe it...Discord is free once more.
Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Fluttershy and Applejack realized what it means too...everypony the from Mane 6 realized what was happening except for Pinkie Pie who was too busy lying under cotton a candy cloud. With a big flash Discord appears in front of the ponies. "Did you miss me?" says Discord with a big grin on his face. "How did you...how could you escape?" asks Twilight. "Dear Twilight Sparkle where would be the fun in that? In knowing everything? All you have to know I am back and this time...the chaos will be even MORE SPECTACULAR than the last time. So if you excuse me I have to go make some chaos" and as soon as Discord finishes the sentence he disappears as quickly as he appeared.

"What in tarnation?" said Applejack as soon as Discord disappeared. "But how is it possible, the spell should last as long as the Elements of Harmony are bound to us" Twilight wondered. "Come on girls, we need to go to Canterlot sculpture gardens, maybe there we will be able to find out what the hay is going on" Twilight said. Pinkie Pie who was still lying under a cotton candy cloud, fully covered in chocolate milk, said with a sad voice "Do we really have to go?". Applejack tried to comfort Pinkie Pie "Yes sugarcube, but if Discord is spreading Chaos all over Equestria, there'll will be sure be some cotton candy clouds even in the sculpture garden". "Okey dokey lokey" said Pinkie Pie and she happily bounced to Canterlot sculpture gardens.
Discord summoned his favorite throne, created yet another interestingly looking pair of hipster glasses, put them on and laughed "Oh, it's always so nice to say hello to old friends". "Now what to do, what do to...OH I KNOW, how about some flying fishes and flying badgers...but I'd rather leave sharks in the water...ponies aren't exactly useful to me dead, are they?" and as soon as Discord finished this long monologue every fish (except for the poor sharks) and every badger began to fly around Equestria. "What to do next...it was so easy last time...I need chocolate milk to think!" and Discord rather than creating just one cup of the previously mentioned liquid worthy of gods created a whole pitcher of it. He drank the whole pitcher (not just the liquid...he drank the glass too), he was ready to continue spreading the mayhem.
The Mane 6 ran fast to the Canterlot scuplture garden to see if they will find any clue there to what is going on. Much to their suprise, the statue of Discord was still standing there, trapped in his terrified pose. "None of this makes sense" Rarity complained. And then Fluttershy asked rest of the Mane 6 "uhm...what if we would go ask Princess Celestia? She will surely know what is going on..if that's okay with you". Nopony could object against that idea so they quickly ran to Canterlot. As they ran to Canterlot they could see fishes swimming through the sky, badgers pursuing Pegasi, bears dancing polka in the streets and dragons reading poetry out loud. And I mentioned only few of the strange things that started happening around them.
Discord watched the Mane 6 from the distance. "How they can be SO predictable? There is no fun in that...well let's make it little harder for them". Discord snapped his fingers and as soon as he did it, the ground around ponies began to crack and randomly large pieces of land started to float, creating small flying islands. "Nah...still too easy" he snapped his fingers for a second time, and suddenly the whole sky became pink. The whole sky became just one big cotton candy cloud. And then the rain started. As you can imagine Pinkie's heart exploded with joy as she could drink chocolate milk and run at the same time, other ponies started to get worried. "This is really fun!" Discord laughed. "I wonder what is going on in Cloudsdale" And with that said...he disappeared.
"We need to hurry" Rainbow Dash yelled "Who knows what will Discord do next". The Mane 6 easily avoided the floating isles... those ponies that needed to avoid them anyway. For Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash it wasn't any problem since they have...you know...wings. Rarity was disgusted by the fact that she will get sticky from the chocolate milk, and she started to run much faster to Canterlot, where she could go shopping in Canterlot boutiques for fashionable and appropriate rain clothing. Then they finally arrived to Canterlot. Rarity was overjoyed to see this wonderful city again, but unfortunately stopping Discord was their highest priority so they couldn't go shopping (much to Rarity's dismay)...they couldn't even go to say "Hello" to their old friends. Very soon they arrived in Princess Celestia's castle. Twilight was delighted to see her mentor again. Unfortunately Princess Celestia had no idea what was going on. "My dearest student, I don't understand how could Discord escape his prison. What I especially can't understand is how there can be two Discords, one rampaging through Equestria and a second one still trapped in the Canterlot gardens. I am sorry, but I must ask you to wield the elements...again. And stop Discord....for the last time hopefully." after explaining the situation to Mane 6, Celestia started to open the door leading to the Elements of Harmony. Pinkie Pie was looking out of the window at cotton candy clouds. Princess Celestia opened the door and...
Discord was flying happily around Cloudsdale, spreading Chaos everywhere where he could. There he made one cloud disappear, another cloud he transformed into a cotton candy cloud, in another place he made the pillar fall down, simply doing what he can do best. To cause mayhem of course. Some Pegasi tried to stop him but to no avail. Some he sent flying away wrapped in cotton candy clouds, some were abducted by flying badgers...everything was done so Discord could enjoy the Chaos uninterrupted. "I haven't had so much fun in months!" Discord was laughing so hard he couldn't even stay still. But I am not sure if he would stay still even if he wouldn't be laughing so hard. "I wonder how my favorite ponies are doing" and with those words he teleported to Canterlot. He teleported just in time to see how the Mane 6 stepped inside Celestia castle. "I guess this is my cue" Discord snickered.
All ponies, including Princess Celestia, walked inside the chamber where the Elements of Harmony are kept. It was majestic, the chamber was one of the most beautiful chambers the ponies, even Rarity, has seen. The biggest gems you have ever seen, sparkled like the most majestic frozen rivers of Equestria, set all over the walls. Rarest fabric, most beautiful of all, hanged from the ceilings and from the walls. The ponies walked through this majestic chamber to their prize. Rarity was speechless , she felt like she died and went into heaven. "So much beauty and majesty...but why is it in this room, where ponies go only in case of highest emergency?" Rarity asked. "That's for the effect my loyal subject, this chamber was built only recently, after Discord's last incident we felt that the Elements were no longer safe where they used to be, so we had to fortify the defenses. These walls, while they may look beautiful, are fortified with magic. " Celestia replied and no pony asked about it ever again. They finally arrived to the gate where the Elements are kept. "The box isn't here, behind that gate is small portal to the location where we are keeping the Elements of Harmony now, I hope that this defense will be enough to confuse enemies who would wish to harm Equestria." Celestia opened the gate and with magic tried to pull the box to herself. Nothing happened.
"Well I shouldn't keep them waiting should I?" Discord whispered to himself. He tried to appear in front of the Mane 6 and Princess Celestia but the magic prevented him from doing so. "That is quite rude...why must everything be so complicated?!" so he appeared in front of the door that leads to the chamber, where the Elements are kept, put on yet another pair of hipster glasses, and walked there instead. As soon as he saw Princess Celestia he shouted "It's quite rude you know?! To force your house guest to walk on his own. Where are your manners?!". "What did you to with the portal?!" Celestia replied. "Straight to the business eh? Well did you really expect me to leave the Elements where they are?! So you can trap me again? Is there no brain under that mane?" Discord replied. "Tell the Princess what you did or ELSE!" Rainbow Dash shouted. "Ah Rainbow Dash...how did I miss you..with your attitude, how you are always so loyal. But why must there always be so many threats when we meet? Why can't you ponies just enjoy little bit of Chaos?" Discord asked. "Maybe because we are made from Harmony?" Fluttershy tried to help Discord. Discord laughed and said "You have no idea what you are made of". No pony understood what he meant. "Tell us where the Elements are!!!" Twilight shouted. "You lot are no fun, fine if you want your Elements so badly go where Fluttershy found her courage" and with those words Discord made himself invisible, slipped away and then teleported.
"Where Fluttershy found her courage, what could he mean with that?" Twilight wondered. "Fluttershy do you have any idea what Mr. Big Meanie Pants could mean?" Pinkie Pie asked. "umm...I don't know, could it be when we fought the Dragon?" Fluttershy replied. Applejack said with her honest smile "I'll reckon its worth a shot". Celestia stayed in her castle "I would be just a burden since I no longer have control over the Elements of Harmony, I will rather stay here and try to solve the situation in Canterlot and other towns, any way I can." and so Princess Celestia explained why she can't join the Mane 6 on their journey. And thus the Mane 6 embarked on a journey to the mountain where the Dragon used to rest.
"You got to admire their perseverance, the danger of them succeeding makes things so much interesting...of course I am not going to let them imprison me again. But why not let them try?" Discord mumbled to himself. "I am bored of this scenery...I think I will go spread some mayhem in Appleloosa"

"Appleloosa...so calm...so beautiful...it's almost shame, that it has to change" Discord talked to himself. And while he was thinking, a pig bumped into his leg. This interrupted Discord's stream of thought. He looked at the pig, full of anger and then he calmed down, because he realized a nice way to spread Chaos further. He touched the pig and suddenly the pig grew wings and began to fly. He snapped his fingers and all pigs across Equestria started to fly around. "Why I didn't think of this sooner?" Discord wondered. He saw those majestic trees, the same trees from where the apples that made the Buffalo and the Settler ponies sign the peace treaty. "Oh, they put them right here in plain sight and they REALLY expect me to do nothing about it?!" Discord snapped his fingers once more and suddenly the trees came to life. They rose from the ground and started walking. And as soon as they realized that they are alive they started dancing. They didn't only dance, they singed too. Those trees actually performed whole musicals. It was an amazing sight. The ponies and buffalos weren't too happy about it though.
One of the flying pigs was happily soaring the skies, it was a new experience for him to be able to do that. He saw all those ponies and wildlife from up above...like they were ants. In one of the clouds there was a flying timberwolf relaxing. When he saw the flying pig, he all of sudden wanted to eat some bacon. He started to sneak (as much as he could while he was in the air) and wanted to ambush the pig. The pig saw the timberwolf and started to fly away as quickly as possible. The timberwolf didn't want the pig to fly away...he was hungry, so he started to pursue it. The pig was flying as fast as it could but the timberwolf was quickly catching up behind it. They raced from Appleloosa to Canterlot (well they didn't know where they would go...the pig just wanted to survive), and all of sudden they arrived to the Canterlot sculpture garden. The pig quickly looked behind him to see if the timberwolf is still pursuing him and as he was looking behind him, he logically couldn't look in front of him. So the inevitable happened. The pig bumped into the Discord statue. The poor animal was dizzy for a moment from the impact but in a few seconds, it stood up and flew away, and the timberwolf was quickly behind it. Only few ponies know that the Discord statue is Discord himself...and when a creature made from Chaos bumped into him something happened. Small cracks started appearing on the statue.
"Come ya'all we need to hurry to the mountain" Applejack shouted while running to the Dragon mountain with rest of her friends. "Do you...*gulp*...do you think that the Dragon is still in the cave?" Fluttershy asked. "I am not sure, but we have to go in there, I hate to play the game exactly how Discord wants, but we have no other choice" Twilight answered. After running for some time they arrived at the base of the mountain. "I will fly up and see if the Elements of Harmony are truly at the top, see ya!" said Rainbow Dash and tried to fly up but Applejack stopped her. "Whoa there, we don't know what is up there, do ya remember what happened last time we got separated?". "Oh...right" Rainbow Dash answered and Mane 6 started to climb. The mountain hasn't changed much, steep paths, dangerous roads, and a grim atmosphere. The ponies didn't talk much while climbing. They all worried what would happen to Equestria.
While Discord was laughing when ponies tried to subdue the trees, which were arguing who had the best poem, he decided to fly for a while. To see where he could spread chaos. He was flying for a while and he was proud of his work, there was plenty of Chaos everywhere. And then all of sudden he heard weird noises. Noises of a mechanical contraption. He decided to search for the source of that strange noise, while invisible of course. The search was soon over. It was a weird machine with two colts aboard. They soon arrived to Manehattan. Ponies started to leave their houses, to see where the strange noises are coming from. The machine stopped, those two colts stepped outside their vehicle and started to sing one of the catchiest songs you ever heard. They introduced themselves as Flim and Flam. Flim and Flam promised to make everypony in Manehattan the tastiest and most amazing cider they ever tasted. But to make cider you need apples. "Dear sir, could we borrow some apples from your amazing store to make some samples for these ponies?" Flim and Flam asked in unison one of the local ponies who owned a shop in the market. "We will give you two cups for free" the duo sweetened the deal. The pony selling apples couldn't object against this kind of deal. Discord smiled "Come on, how come there are so many great opportunities to spread chaos?" he snapped his fingers. Before Flim and Flam could lift the apples and insert them in their contraption, the apples came to life. Some apples started dancing and Discord felt sorry for them, so he summoned top hats and canes for them and the apples started their own little show. Some apples felt violent, they stole the little toothpicks ponies use to hold sanviches together, and they started a contest : where they would test their skill. They lined up pears, plums, peaches, everything except fellow apples and they competed about who can throw toothpicks and hit the most fruit. A few apples tried to assault the ponies the but best they could do was roll and bump into their knees. It was a very juicy and messy competition. Some apples tried to sing, but lack of vocal chords made it impossible for them. Some ponies enjoyed watching the Apples' little dancing show, some enjoyed the competition (a few ponies even tried to bet on what apple will win), and some started panicking and running around. Flim and Flam realized that in such a situation making any profit is impossible, so they packed their things and started riding to another town. Discord was again happy with himself. He managed to spread chaos even further. And he then he continued to fly, looking for more opportunities to cause mayhem.
The path to the summit of Dragon mountain changed a little. It was steeper and more dangerous. There was even a moment when Twilight almost fell down from the mountain if it wasn't for Rainbow Dash who saved her. The whole journey to the top was in some way...grim. Even Pinkie Pie stopped bouncing and started walking normally. There was a dark atmosphere in the air. Then the Mane 6 finally made it to the top. It looked exactly the same as they remembered it, including the cracked rock caused by them being blown away from the dragon (except Fluttershy). The Mane 6 walked into the cave. Much to their surprise part of the Dragons treasure was still in there, the Dragon was probably eager to fly into another location to get his beauty sleep, so he didn't want to bother with all of his worldly possessions. Of course the first pony to notice it was Rarity. As soon as she saw the majestic sparkly gems, she couldn't resist and galloped to them. But as soon as she was just a hoof away from them, the gems started to roll away. Soon the gems were escaping Rarity, while Rarity chased them. The rest of the Mane 6 watched her in her futile effort to grab the gems and were looking for any sign of Elements of Harmony, but they couldn't see anything.
Discord was happily soaring the skies, when he noticed the Mane 6 is climbing the Dragon mountain. "I have to admit those ponies work fast, I wonder how Rarity likes my gem surprise" Discord giggled and then he teleported behind the Mane 6.
He teleported silently, nopony noticed how he is watching Rarity chase the gems with the rest of the Mane 6. He leaned over to Twilight and whispered "Priceless, isn't it?". Twilight wasn't expecting that so she screamed. "Where are the Elements Discord?!!" Rainbow Dash shouted. "My, my so rude! And did you really expect for it to be THAT easy? I just told you to come here if Elements are what you seek. You really thought the Elements will be here?" and after the last sentence Discord couldn't hold it and fell down on the floor laughing. Applejack was furious at Discord, for everything he did and she tried to attack him. Discord immediately stopped laughing and with one snap of his fingers he made roots grow and trip Applejack, and of course she fell to the ground. "Really? Attacking me? Great spirit of Chaos? I expected better from you Applejack" Discord said with slight disappointment in his voice. And while he was talking Twilight decided to take the initiative and started lifting rocks and pebbles with her magic and throwing it at Discord. "OW, stop it!" Discord snapped his fingers and Twilight lost her horn. "Now if we all could be mature for once, and don't worry Twilight I will return your horn as soon as you will stop behaving like a little filly, I just want to continue playing our little game.". No pony liked the idea, of listening to yet another Discord puzzle, but it was their only chance of saving Equestria. No pony except Rarity. She was still trapped inside her little world, hunting gems and not paying attention to anything else. "Oh for the love of Celestia!" Discord shouted and made the gems immobile, as they used to be. Rarity was overjoyed with the fact that she can finally touch them, and when she completed this little task of hers, she at last noticed Discord. Discord started to speak.
"Now that I FINALLY have your attention, let's take this game to next level shall we?" and Discord told them the riddle "Old Equestria was surely nice, but chaos is true spice of life. To understand where the Elements last, maybe even something little from the past, you must venture to the planes, that are touched by the same. Yes, I enjoy screwing with your little pony heads, but what is best, is to send you on a quest. Quest that might decides, where your true allegiance lies." Discord took a long breath "Now, you know what to do, and I can go spread chaos, sayonara!" and Discord disappeared.
"Do ya'll know what the hay did he speak about, or is it just me who didn't understand him a squat?" Applejack asked. "We can figure this out AJ, but I am afraid of what will Discord do, until we will be able to figure this out." Twilight told AJ. "Why should we hurry, come on, CHOCOLATE RAIN, am I only one who is totally hooked on that stuff?!!" Pinkie Pie, just being Pinkie Pie, told rest of the Mane 6. Discord, invisible of course, was still in the cave and watched the reactions of Mane 6 to what he said. "This will be even more interesting than I ever could hope for" and with that said he summoned glass of Chocolate milk, walked out of the cave and teleported to random location in Equestria, just for fun.

Deep inside the Canterlot sculpture gardens something strange was going on. One statue, a statue representing Discord, had strange cracks. And the cracks were spreading rapidly. Soon small chips of stone started to fall from the statue and revealed flesh under them. And suddenly with a loud bang, the whole statue fell apart revealing Discord (let's call him Discord II) in his full glory. "It's good to be back!" said Discord II. After stretching for a while he opened his eyes and he couldn't believe them. Chaos was blooming everywhere. In one place he could see that apples were performing dancing competition with trees. In another place he could see cotton candy clouds chasing pigs. Discord II was happy with this turn of events, but he couldn't understand them. Chaos isn't exactly known for its logicalness, but this was too weird even for him. He summoned a pair of cool hipster shades, grabbed a cotton candy cloud that was floating around, created a empty glass, squeezed the cloud so chocolate milk would pour from it into the glass and with the delicious liquid in his hand he was ready to get some answers. Meanwhile the original Discord was aimlessly flying around Equestria, looking for a good chance to spread mayhem. He couldn't see any good opportunity to do it. There he saw a Pegasus wrapped inside a cotton candy cloud, trying to eat his way out. On another place he saw flying pigs stealing carrots from local farmer ponies. And of course how could I forget the new world famous musical group Barking Apples (Apples did choreography, Trees were singing). "So boring, so dull...is there really nothing else to do? The Mane 6 embarked on their quest, well if they have more than a half of a brain cell then they did...should I somehow make it harder for them? GARGH! I hate it when I run out of ideas. I know what to do...I need to relax! What would be nice place to relax? Hmmm...well Everfree forest is surely relaxing. I guess I will see what I can do there." And so Discord glided to the Everfree forest. But first...he needs to put some obstacles into Bearers of the Elements path.
"Planes...planes...where did I hear something about that before?" Twilight mumbled for herself. "Did I read it somewhere?" She continued her mumbling. "Girls I need to go to the library for a while, if you will figure anything out, you can meet me there." Applejack stopped her : "Hold yah hooves there, we need to stick together now more than ever. Who knows what Discord would do to you if he would find you alone, you know what happened last time when we were separated." And so the Mane 6 raced to Ponyville once more. While they were running a lot of wonders could be seen. For example a hamster riding a fish as a flying transport, or a singing competition between pigs, bears and trees (while Pinkie Pie didn't want to say anything, she was rooting for bears). Of course Discord couldn't let them go so easily. When he saw the Mane 6 running, he snapped his fingers and the ground under Rarity cracked and she fell down a newly created hole. The hole wasn't too deep, but the fall hurt her anyway. "RARITY! Are you okay?" Twilight shouted into the hole. "I think I broke something..AAAAAAAAAAAAAH." Rarity screamed after her short sentence. "What is it?!" Rainbow Dash shouted and tried flying into the pit, but an invisible barrier prevented her from doing so. "I chipped my hoof" Rarity sobbed "and it's awfully dark in here." Rarity used spell that lighted up the pit, enabling her to see her surroundings. Her heart was overfilled with joy. There were gems everywhere, bigger and more beautiful than any gems you ever saw. Emeralds as big as an adult Dragon fist. Diamonds for which most ponies would even fight wars. As you could imagine the temptation was enormous. For a while Rarity was just staring at those gems, she was speechless and couldn't believe that so much beauty could be at one place. After she pulled herself together, and after closer inspection of the pit, she found out that it isn't a pit at all...it's a deep cave. "Girls, since you can't get to me, I will try to find another way out, this cave seems to go on for miles, maybe there will be an exit soon." Rarity told the other ponies before embarking on her journey. "Okay but be careful!" Twilight shouted, but Rarity was already too far away to hear her.
When Discord finally arrived into the forest, he decided he will go for a relaxing stroll. He didn't expect for anyone bothersome to see him so he uncloaked himself and started walking. As he was walking his mischievous nature started to bubble to the surface again. He saw a flying squirrel eating nuts from a tree, so he brought that tree to life. As you could imagine the tree wasn't too happy about the squirrel actions, so he picked up that fuzzy nut eater and threw it across the whole Everfree forest. Since it was a flying squirrel no real harm was done, but for Discord it was great fun. On another place he saw a cow drinking from a lake, he smiled, whispered his sinister plan to the tree, and then the tree went and punted the cow into the lake. Discord was laughing so hard he couldn't stand and so he fell on the ground and started rolling on the grass. What he didn't realize was that certain pony-like being was watching him. One with stripes and odd taste for rhymes. The name of this pony-like being was Zecora. When Discord invaded her homeland she wasn't happy about that and she decided it's time to stop him. She threw her brews on the ground which made plants grow and they ensnared Discord. "Oooh this is FUN, it was too long since anybody stood up to me, come on show yourself, don't be shy! " Discord laughed and taunted Zecora. She walked out of the forest to the small meadow where Discord was trapped. "I no longer need to be shy, since you are not able to harm even a fly" Discord grinned and Zecora continued with her rhyme "It was a mistake to come to this realm, even for a being as powerful as yourself.". Discord face transformed into one big evil grin. "Oh, dear Zecora did you really think some salad would stop me from executing my will?" and with that said Discord tried to break from his bounds but to no avail.
Discord II arrived to the Canterlot. Because who would know more about current situation than our benevolent monarch Princess Celestia? Discord II politely knocked on the gate leading to the Celestia castle. "Yohooo, anybody home?" Discord shouted. The royal guards heard him first, they started to fly and tried to assault him. Discord II noticed them, snapped his fingers and one of the guards became very clumsy in the air and unintentionally tackled the other guard. They both crashed to the ground, which made them unconscious. "Princess should teach those ruffians some manners" Discord II snickered. He made himself invisible and started sneaking around castle trying to find Princess Celestia...Discord II decided she deserves a surprise. He found her pretty soon. He snuck up in front of her, made himself visible again and just shouted "BOOO." As you could imagine even our amazing rightful ruler was caught off guard and so she flinched. "DISCORD! What are you doing here?! Didn't you cause enough mayhem already?!" Princess Celestia shouted. Discord II wasn't expecting this. "Already caused? What in the hay stack is she talking about?" Discord II thought to himself. "Well, the Chaos outside is surely beautiful and well done, but I am afraid I have to disappoint you my dearest Celestia...I have nothing to do with it. I would certainly want to meet that fellow who made it. I am not sure if I want to break his hand or shake his hand though...you know, it's not nice when you do someone else's job. Same way as you rule instead of me. Remember overthrowing me, your grace?" Discord II started mocking princess. "Do NOT play games with me, I saw you spreading the chaos, and I even heard you bragging about it, what do you think of me? That I am completely dull?!" Princess Celestia snapped. "Saw me? Interesting" Discord II thought to himself. "Are you saying you saw me, being as magnificent as ever, recently? Has your mind grown weary while I was imprisoned poor Celestia? I hope you have not become senile, it would be impolite to make fun of the elderly afterall" Discord II mocked princess some more. "How dare you?! You show up here, taunt me and come back here just to play stupid and for a change of pace mock me?! Do you have no manners!!". Discord II recognized in Princess Celestia angry expression that she believes every word she said. "So you are absolutely sure you saw me some time back? Interesting. And I am not the one who sent my own sister to the moon, your highness so please, don't talk to me about manners." Discord II didn't even let Princess respond, since he already knew what she will say. She will be offended and will insist on the fact that she saw him.He vanished into thin air and left the castle. "So somewhere is either another me or a big phony...something isn't right." Discord II mumbled, while he went to find out what is going on.
"You know...as much as I would applaud to your resolve, and guts standing up to ME...I must say you are starting to get on my nerves. Are you sure you are ready to face my wrath?" Discord grinned as maliciously as he could. "Throw your threats as high, but I know you are harmful as this fly." and the fly that was passing by gave Zecora a stinky eye. "Sorry my little friend, I am trying to mock that one over there." Zecora whispered to the fly. And while Zecora was distracted Discord tried breaking the roots but he couldn't even budge them. "What was in the brew, that made the plants grow you foul witch?!" Discord yelled. " Did you get that mouth from your mother, you pile of every bother?" Zecora responded with a smile. "Why do I even bother arguing?" Discord thought to himself and tried to unthink the roots...to remove them for existence, but for some reason it didn't work. "Huh...that's weird...well that is what I get when I am messing around with chaos..." Discord muttered and then chuckled. He poisoned insects and all things small with chaos, commanding them to chew on the roots of the plant that trapped him. "Enjoy your victory while it lasts little zebra." Discord said with a grin on his face. "Only your wish isn't enough to break out of this." Zecora taunted Discord. "Oh my sweet Zecora, how true is that, wish is not enough, but my friends are sufficient to help me escape" Discord laughed, ripped apart his chewed up prison and after that he lunged at Zecora. That poor zebra didn't have time to react so she ended up in Discord grasp.
The walls of the cave Rarity was exploring were blooming with all kinds of gems. Each of them was magnificent in its own way. One was the most colorful gem, another one was the biggest, and the one next to it was the sparkliest gem you've ever seen and so on. Even though Rarity wanted to dig them all up and just hold them and hug them...she decided to move on. She couldn't let her friends down, not again. The tunnel in the cave seemed to go on forever, some gems even radiated light on their own, so Rarity soon gave up with her spell and just followed the gems. She knew this was Discord's trap, but what other thing she could do then press on? Riches that made adventurers venture all across Equestria, were there at her grasp, but she couldn't let her greedy side take over her, not again.
"Was it worth it Zecora? Trapping me for a little while?" Discord mocked her. "It's time to end this!" and Discord slowly squeezed Zecora, pushing the life out of her. When all of the sudden a huge glove full of chocolate pudding appeared and slapped Discord across the face. Discord flew a few meters away from the impact and Zecora fell on the ground, after recovering from the fall she decided it will be best for her if she ran away. "So you are the scoundrel who is ruining MY good reputation!" Discord II shouted, still levitating the glove in front of him as the pudding from the glove was slowly dripping on the ground. "Who, in the name of all things chaotic, are you?" asked original Discord the new intruder "AND WHY DID YOU INTERRUPT MY FUN?!" original Discord shouted full of rage. Discord II smiled and said "Even though I don't care much about what ponies think about me, I DON'T want someone else pretending to be me! You know...I like to AND I am able to make my own chaos, thank you very much". Original Discord wondered "Could it be that with the recreation of Equestria I created parallel version of me? I created everything that there was...why didn't I think of this possibility?!". He wanted some answers "And where did you come from anyway?" Discord curiously asked Discord II. "Well, you see when two ponies, or chaotic beings like each other they-". Original Discord looked at Discord II as he would want to murder him. "Not that it matters anyway, for all I care you are just a byproduct of my genius chaos" Discord mumbled. He stood up grabbed his jaw which was dislocated from the glove , and he put it in the original position. "Don't worry you will pay for that, but unfortunately I have places to be, and ponies to see, ciao!"Discord II tried to leap and grab original Discord but it was too late, Discord teleported away.
Rarity started to get paranoid. Maybe because she was walking for so long. She could swear those gems were watching her. But in fact it was Discord, as soon as he got away from his other self, he wanted to see how Rarity was doing."I wonder why she doesn't want to grab all those gems and drag them to her Boutique...did she actually learn from my old tricks?"All of the sudden Rarity saw beautiful glow, she was intrigued and she went to see from where was the glow coming from. And there on a pedestal made from pure gold adorned with rubies red as blood, emeralds green as majestic wild forests, sapphires blue as deepest levels of the sea, and amethysts in magnificent purple, same purple as Rarity's mane. And on top of the amazing pedestal made from those grand gem stones? Rarity's old love...Tom the diamond. Rarity couldn't believe her eyes, she had a hard time convincing herself to press on, but in the end...she did it. Discord started to feel the bitter taste of failure. He uncloaked himself right in front of Rarity. "Oh, come on! Last time it was so easy, where did you find so much will all of sudden?! I offered you untold riches and you just...walk past them?!" Rarity giggled "A lady, is above all this nonsense, now if you could be a dear and step out of my way". Discord was stunned, he couldn't believe it...his old tricks didn't work. Rarity walked past him with a smile and continued exploring the cave.
Rest of the Mane 6 were still waiting at the crack through which Rarity fell into the cave. "Shouldn't we go, you know, look for her?" Twilight asked others. "uhm...but where? We have no idea where she could have gone, the caverns could go on for miles." Fluttershy presented reasonable argument. "I think we should go and try to find her, not sit here and wait" an impatient Rainbow Dash muttered. "Before ya'all will do something we will regret. I have an idea. We will wait little longer here. If Rarity won't show up, we will go to the library, she aint stupid, she will know where to go, deal?" Applejack suggested new plan. While that plan wasn't perfect, nopony could think of anything better. They waited for Rarity to show up.
Discord was walking with Rarity while he was thinking why his plan didn't work. Sure, it wasn't his most original idea, but still...he counted on the fact that Rarity will be greedy. "Are you sure you don't want to take even one gem? As a memento of our beautiful times spent together?" Discord was holding in an maniacal laughter as he said the last sentence. Rarity snickered as ladylike as it was possible. "And what exactly was beautiful at those times when we were in same place...darling?" Rarity tried to say the sentence with as little mockery as possible, but it was very hard for her. Discord suddenly got brilliant idea how to turn Rarity against the Mane 6. "You know what they say pride is only step away from greed...well, maybe nopony says that...but it could be a nice proverb...now just to find ponies who would like it too, give it few years and it could even became folk wisdom. FOCUS DISCORD. Now to execute the plan." when finally Discord made a bit of peace in his head, stopped arguing with himself, he started talking to Rarity again. "Well, for one the fact that you were in those moments, such magnificent pony. I honestly never saw a mane so neatly kept, colorful and simply beautiful. And your smile brings smiles to everyone's hearts, well...even mine which is rotten to the core. Pinkie Pie swear". Rarity smiled but pressed on. "She smiled, its working! If I could I would just hug myself...maybe I should forget my other self...I will try explaining everything to him later. Just so I could know how does it feel to hug myself". Discord's mind was again racing with all kinds of thought, but he had to focus. He had to complete this malicious plan of his. "I mean, I am not very big flatterer but you outshine even the sun itself. There are a lot of shiny, grand gems here, but not even one reaches your level of fairness and they can't be compared to your beauty." after this Discord sweet talk Rarity blushed. Discord decided it's time to make his move. Discord began to hypnotize Rarity while poisoning her mind "Those ponies are not worthy of your presence. Ponies of your magnificence should be in a palace or castle, not in some boutique with common folk. Ditch those villagers and go away from them. Far away." His plan worked, he poisoned Rarity mind with an idea of her being above everypony. Discord was once again proud of himself. He snapped his fingers. The wall crumbled, revealing amazing staircase leading to the surface. The whole staircase was decorated with the most beautiful diamonds you could ever see."Now you have a choice but be careful of what you choose, you can either take this staircase and try to find castle suitable for your beauty...or you can go through that tunnel back to your friends who don't appreciate you enough and they will bring you back to normal."Discord could see Rarity had hard time deciding what to choose. He decided to let some things for Lady Luck. "My job here is done...for now" Discord laughed and then disappeared.
