Talk about a crappy day, car broke down, bad day at work, and above all, I had to walk in the rain, and I didn’t have an umbrella. I was walking in the rain, when I noticed a manhole cover was missing. I walked over to it, looked down, never seen the inside of a manhole, then lost my footing and fell in. I fell for what seemed like an hour, then I stopped hearing the wind whistling past me, like I was suspended in midair. Then a dark voice said, “Congratulation, Eric, you have been chosen to help me, spread chaos and destruction throughout Equestria.”
I folded my arms and said, “Wow, sounds like I fallen into a book of My Little Pony. Sorry, Discord, I’m not going to help you. Now, put me back where I was, I am already having a shitty day.”
A face appeared out of nowhere, it had darkness black skin, a few holes where embers glowed, and blood red eyes. Then it said, “I’M... NOT...DISCORD, and you are going to help me, willing or not.”
Then I felt a burning sensation throughout my body, I looked down to see a chain tattoo wrapping across my skin, like snakes, and my hands and feet turning into hooves. I screamed as loud as I could, from the pain and me turning into a pony After the pain had subsided a mirror appeared in front of me, I had a muzzle where my mouth and nose should be, and had a life-like metal collar tattoo around my neck. I said, as I glared at him with hatred, “Ok, you turned me into a pony, and you know my name, but I still won’t help you.”
He said, as the mirror disappeared, “Guess I have to go more extreme measures.” I was about to ask what he meant, but then a sharp pain came from my head, a dozen pictures of building burning, ponies running and screaming, building crumbling, and a bunch of pictures went racing through my head, then I saw a giant metal door opening and barbed chain flying out. I felt pieces of my body getting torn apart. After that, I opened my eyes, and saw the creature have surprise in it’s eyes, then it said, “I’m impressed, most die at this point or lose their mind.”
I slowly rotated my neck, listening to it crack, then said, “Well maybe the rest are weak, and so are you for choosing them.”
He glared at me, then laughed. After he was done laughing, he said, “First time, I was talked to like that. I’m happy to say, it was a success. Now are you ready to destroy Equestria?”
I smiled and said, “I’ll be ready after you give me a few things.”
He frowned and said, “What things.”
I shrugged, then said, “The ability to control ponies, ponies trust me easily, and a cutie mark that won’t stand out, and an answer. What did you do to me?”
He sighed and said, “Fine, What I did was loosened your humanity and bring your deepest desires forward. You will be able to control ponies with your eyes, and if you need help, just call for Discord, he owes me.”
Then I continued falling, I landed on the ground with a hard thump, I got up, shook myself off, then looked at my body. I had blood red fur, my tail was the color of glowing embers, my cutie mark was of a log with an ax in it, and I didn’t see any chain tattoos on my body. I walked to a puddle and looked at my face, I kept my dark blue eyes, I had a horn, and didn’t see the collar.
I started walking then I remembered what the creature said, I yelled, at the top of my lungs, “Discord, you need to help me.”
Discord popped out of nowhere, with his paws crossed. He said, “First time being called by a random pony. What do you mean I need to help you?”
I looked at Discord, right in the eyes, and said, “Well, the big head said you owe him, and to call on you whenever I need help.”
Discord sighed, and said, “Figures, what do you need help with?
I said, as I stretched out my legs, “He said I would be able to control ponies with my eyes, what does that mean?”
Discord said, as he did weird stuff, “ponies would look into your eyes and be under your control.”
Controlling ponies just by making them looking into my eyes, sounds fun. I walked passed, then turned around and said, “Hey, which pony do you think would be the easiest to trust me.
Discord stroked his beard, and said, “I don’t think there is a pony, that would trust a stranger right off the bat, but the crusaders are easier to talk to. To avoid attention, keep away from Pinkie Pie.”
I nodded, then headed to ponyville. As I walked the streets, I looked at every building, listening to the ponies talk, and nodding to everypony I meet, then I saw Pinkie Pie bounding down the street. I quickly ran it a house, and shut the door. Then I heard a voice say behind me, “What the hell are doing in my house?” I turned around to see the talker was Vinyl Scratch She had her glasses on her forehead. I looked out the window to see that is was definitely her house. I turned back to her, She glared at me while walking towards me. “Are you deaf, I said what the hell are you doing in my --”
I clamped my hoof on her mouth and wrapped my other hoof around the back of her head, to stop her from alerting somepony. I said, as calm as I could, “Vinyl, can you just listen. I only barged in cause I didn’t want to be caught by Pinkie Pie. If she saw me, then she would want to throw me a party, and prefer not being the center of attention, you wouldn’t know what I’m talking about. After all, you are the best DJ in ponyville.”
Her eyes soften and she nodded, saying she understands. I slowly took my hoof away, fearing she was going to yell again, but she didn’t. She said, “I’m sorry I gave you a hard time.” Then she blushed, and turned away. “Thanks for the complement.”
Then I remembered I can control ponies just by making them look into my eyes, why not try it on Vinyl. I said, as I put a hoof on her chin and turned her head towards me, “That wasn’t a compliment, that was the truth. Could you do me a favor, all you need to do is look into my eyes.” She looked into my eyes, and, after a few minutes, I felt her head relax in my hoof. Her eyes became glazed and unfocused. I moved my hoof away, then walked over to her side and waved a hoof in front of her eyes, she didn’t blink, I removed the glasses of the top of her head, she didn’t yell at me, and I levitated he dj equipment and dropped it, no response, I levitated them at the last second and set them down. I said, nervously, “You will do everything I say, even when not in trance, and you will call me master.”
Then she said, in a monotone voice, “I will do everything you say, even when not in trance, and I will call you master.”
I did a little test, I said, “lift your left front hoof and place it down, then lift up your right front hoof and place it down, and then bow until I give you another command.”
Vinyl said, in her monotone voice, “Yes master.” Then raised and lowered her left front hoof, then her right, then bowed.
I smiled and said, “Rise.”
Vinyl rose to her feet and said, “What do you want me to do, Master?”
I said, “Go get me a chair, this will be my base for now.” Vinyl ran out the room, and came back pushing a chair. I grabbed it and sat down. “Vinyl, once you exit this house, you will return to normal, but you will still be under my control. Do you understand?
She stood in front of me and said, “Yes master.”
I said, as I placed her glasses on the top of her head, “Now, go find me a pony that trusts you completely.” She bowed and ran out the door.
I sighed, as I shut the door, why didn’t I tell Vinyl to remember shut the door. I looked at the chair and realized it wasn’t fit for a ruler. I got off, and used some of my magic to make it look fancier. It had red cushion and backrest, obsidian for the frame and rubies lined the frame. I sat down looking satisfied with my work. Then voice came from behind me, “Really, you’re using my power on a dj.”
I said, without looking behind me, “It’s my power, I can do what I want with it, Discord. Why are you here?”
Discord walk around the chair and said, while pulling off a shock and hurt face, “What, can’t a friend drop by and say hello?” I just stared at him, then he said, crossing his arms, “Fine, I came to see if you need help.”
I said, smiling, “I knew ya didn’t just visit, and there is something you can do for me, go to the creature and ask if it only works, if both eyes are looking, or can it just be one.” Then I opened the door, as quietly as I could.
Discord sighed then said, “If I was in your place, I would go hypnotize the main six, but in less than a day, You already have a pony under your control.”
I saw Vinyl walking with Octavia, to my base. She was about to say something, but then she saw Discord next the me. Her eyes became glazed and unfocused, then she charged at Discord. I motioned Discord to get closer, then I whispered into his ear, “In a few minutes, I’m going to have two.” He looked at me confused, then, a fraction of a second later, he was tackled by Vinyl.
I burst out laughing. I rolled off the chair, then Discord picked himself up, glared at me, then said, while placing Vinyl in a cage, “I see you have made her attack me.”
I looked at him, confused, then said, “I didn’t make her do anything. She might not like you, but could you ask for me as well
Discord, sighed, then said, “Fine.” Then with a snap of his fingers, he and the cage disappeared, leaving me, controlled Vinyl, and a confused Octavia.
I turned to Octavia and said, “Sorry to keep the best cello player waiting, Discord and I needed to have a little discussion about stuff. Come in, lets get you a chair. Vinyl could you please bring Octavia a chair, then head to your room, until I call for you?”
Vinyl bowed, good thing she didn’t say yes master, I really don’t want to explain that to Octavia, then ran to the kitchen to grab a chair. When she came back, she was carrying a chair, with her magic, she set the chair down and then ran to her room, leaving Octavia confused on what just happened. When she got over her shock, she said, “Thank you, Vinyl said you wanted to talk to me. What did you want to talk to me about, why did Vinyl attack Discord, what did Discord mean by you made Vinyl attack him, what magic and”
I got of my chair and walked up to Octavia, placed a hoof, she went quiet instantly, then I said, “Why don’t you sit down and I will answer your questions.” She gulped and nodded, then she climbed onto the chair. I said, as I paced back and forth, “I wanted to talk to you about hiring you, Vinyl attacked Discord because he invaded her house, Discord thought I made her do it, just a magic spell that was placed on me, no I’m not using right now. Do you want to see it?”
Octavia gulped and then nodded, I smiled, then called Vinyl, she came to me and said, “What can I do for you, Master?”
I whispered into her ear, while shutting the door and locking it, “Be ready to catch her, in case she falls.” Then I turned to Octavia, who was shaking like a leaf, and said, “This needs concentration, so I didn’t want anypony barging in. Now all you need to do is to look into my eyes.”
After a few minutes of looking away, she took a deep breath and looked into my eyes. I watched her body relax, and her eyes becoming glazed and unfocused. She started tipping, I looked at Vinyl, she was just staring at me, with the face as Octavia. I sighed and said, as I steadied her, “Vinyl go get parchment and a quill.” Vinyl ran to a room and grabbed parchment and a quill. I written, “Anyone that looks into my eyes will go mindless. Note to self, find a word to use, and do it with no one behind the pony.” then rolled it up and placed it on the chair. Then a compass popped, out of nowhere, in front of me. The needle looked like discord. I sighed, then looked up and said, “Vinyl take Octavia to you bedroom, Octavia, you will do everything I say, even when not in trance, and you will call me master.” They repeated everything I said, after their names, walked to Vinyl’s bedroom.
I followed the compass to where Discord was waiting, he said, when he saw me, “It’s about time, do you know how many weird looks I got, just by standing here, doing nothing.”
I said, as I stopped by him, “Calm down, It’s not easy when you talk in front of a non-controlled pony. So, what did it say?”
Discord said, “For the first question, only one eye would have to look into both your eyes. For the second question, no, It’s not part of it. So, I told him the story, and you know what he did, he laughed. Why did you want to know if one eye will do?”
I said, with a shrug, “For ponies that won’t corraporate with me, but mainly for derpy and fluttershy,” Then I saw a little worry in his eyes. “Don’t worry, I won’t harm her. After all I would not want the god of chaos to try to kill me.”
I saw him relax, then I realized something funny. What works on ponies, works on Discord as well, or flattery works. I was about to leave, Discord stopped me and gave what looked like a button, then he said, “If you have any more question, just pushed the button and he’ll answer.”
I walked to my base, set the button down and headed to Rarity’s shop. When I got there, Rarity walked up to me and said, Welcome to the Carousel Boutique, how may I help you.”
I said, as I smiled, “I would like a plain coat, nothing fancy, but that will be easy for the best designer in Ponyville.
She blushed and said, “Certainly, just will have to take your measurements.” She took my measurement and said, “It’s will take a day, hope you don’t mind.”
I said, “I don’t mind, bye.” Then walked out the door before she could say anything. As I walked to my base, I said to myself, two down and more to go, and Derpy, you’re next.
As I was walking to my base, I was thinking on what to make Vinyl and Octavia do. Then I bumped into somepony, I fell flat on my but. I got up and rubbed my but, then I said, as I was turning to the pony, “Hey, watch where you are go-” I stopped immediately, once I saw the pony I bumped into was Princess Twilight. I looked at my feet and saw a book lying there. It looked pretty worn, so that either mean it was read a lot or it was old, or maybe both. I picked it up and walked over to Twilight, who was on the ground, and held out a hoof. “Sorry about that, didn’t mean to run into ya.”
Twilight took my hoof and I help her up, then she said, “It was actually my fault, I had my nose in the book, I should’ve watching where I was going.”
I said, as I gave a little bow, “My first day being here and I already bump into the princess of friendship. Allow me to introduce my name is Eric Lumber. How can I help you princess.”
Twilight grabbed the book and placed it into her bag, then said, “You already did enough, but thanks for the offer. So it’s your first time being here, wonder why I haven’t heard about a party for you.”
I rubbed my hoof behind my head, and said, “I’m kinda avoiding Pinkie Pie, I don’t like the attention. Can you please not tell Pinkie Pie about me. Oh, that reminds me, where could I find the other elementals? I just want to say hello, I already met Rarity. I asked for a plain coat.”
Twilight look at me, then said, “Rarity probably didn’t like that, Fluttershy might be in her cottage, Applejack is on her farm, doing chores, and Rainbow Dash is somewhere.”
I said, as I walked away, “She pretty much agreed to do it. Bye, nice meeting ya.”
I walk to the base and once I opened the door, I was hit with a smell I was familiar with. I ran to the Vinyl’s room. There, in the middle of the room, stood Vinyl and Octavia, in their own waste. I said, as I tried to keep the stench out of my nose, “Go to Vinyl’s bathroom and take a bath.” They walked out the room, and went through a different door. I made toilet paper fly toward the pee, and wipe it up, then pick up the poop, and then made it disappear.
I walked into the bathroom to see if I had to give them instruction, but when I got there, they were hopping out. I made my parchment fly to me and written, while I watched them dry themselves off, “make them have an on and off switch. Knows how to do stuff by themselves, but can be blocked.” As I rolled up my parchment, I thought about derpy, how will she do stuff.
After they were done, I said, “Vinyl, could you make dinner, and Octavia, go invite Derpy to dinner.” Vinyl ran to the kitchen and Octavia ran out the door. I walked to Vinyl’s bedroom and got a good look at it. The walls were a orangish color, brown carpet, records on the floor, headphone on the desk, and her glasses tossed into on the floor.
I walked to where I left my button, then I walked to her study, it was as messy as her bedroom, parchment and quills everywhere. I moved it over to one side, took a deep breath and pressed the button. I looked around and saw nothing, I sighed. Then a knock at the door made me jump. I ran to the door and opened it, there, in the door, was a pony that looked like it was burned, it’s skin was made of ember and it had an awful smell, it smelled like burnt fur. Then it said, in a deep voice, “What do you want.”
I cleared my throat and said, “You know, you should be a little nicer, I’m the one doing to work for you.”
Then his hoof caught fire and his eyes glowing brighter. Then I felt a sharp pain, like someone had hot metal all over me. I looked at me hooves, and saw the chain, that was wrapped around me. He said, after he calmed down and watched writhe in pain, “Don’t push it Eric, or I will burn your body to a crisp, but not kill you, so you can feel the pain while you get better”
I said, after the pain stopped, “Does the spell change personality and does the magic work on Discord? I need something that stops the drinker’s magic when digested.”
He said, “Yes, if used correctly it can change memories, personality, and favorites, and yes, it’s works on him. Why do you want it.”
I said, as I stared at him, “In case the princesses start getting suspicious, my magic weak compared to theirs.”
He sighed then said, “Fine, I’ll give you a potion, but if you need others, go find someone else to do it.”
He set the potion on the table and and walked out the door. Vinyl came out and said, “Dinner is ready master.”
I turned to her and said, “Good, now let’s wait for Derpy and Octavia. Hey, Discord, I know you’re watching, what do you owe him.” Then a cage appeared around me and Discord was sitting on cage, in front of me.
Discord said, “He did a lot for me, some things I regret, He helped me with my statue imprisonment for one thing, he gave me the seeds that infected the harmony tree thousand of years ago.”
I watched Vinyl ran into the cage over and over, then a flower appeared out of a bar and sprayed Vinyl in face, she backed up, then started swaying on her hooves. Discord release the cage, Vinyl didn’t even try to attack him. I said, as I walk into the kitchen, “So what was in that flower, and could I have some or do I need to find it.”
Discord said, while laying on her back, “It’s just a type of powder I found on my trips. Even a little of the powder is able to relax any living being.” He grew to original size and tossed me the bag. Then he walked in front of Vinyl and scratched her under her chin, nothing happened. “There, you see. They’re so relaxed that they won’t do anything. I mean, you can pull their tail, dump water on their head, do anything to them, that will upset the ponies, they won’t care.”
I placed the bag on the table and said, as I poked Vinyl, “How long does it last and can it be digested?” Then I saw Octavia and Derpy walking. I opened the door and said, “Well it was nice seeing you. Now, can you leave, we are about to have dinner.”
Discord said, as quick but clear he could, “About hour and yes. Don’t forget, I’m not doing it for you, I’m doing it to repay him, for what he did for me, and if you hurt Fluttershy in anyway, I will kill you.”
I said, as I looked for the plates, “Like I said in the alley, I will not hurt her, since she is your friend.”
He smiled then vanished, right before Octavia and Derpy walked through the door. Octavia said, as she came through the door, “I brought you Derpy, master.”
I said, walked to them, “Thank you Octavia, could you please server dinner for four.” I held a hoof out to Derpy.” Derpy, it’s a pleasure to finally meet you. My name is Eric Lumber. So happy you could join us for dinner. “
She reached out a hoof and a shook, “Thanks for inviting me, what’s wrong with Vinyl?”
I said, as casually as I could, “She’s fine, it’s just something Discord placed on her. Didn’t tell me that it would last an hour. Come lets sit down and talk. Vinyl and Octavia are not going to be talkative tonight, just a lot on their mind.” We walked to the table, Derpy sat down on the other side of me, and Octavia on my right. Derpy asked me a lot of question and I answered them the best I can.
After dinner was done I said, “Octavia, wait down here for when I call for you and once Vinyl is back, tell her to eat dinner and wait for me to call for her. Derpy, lets go to Vinyl study, to talk more privately.
I lead Derpy to Vinyl’s study, once we were in, I shut the door and turned to Derpy, who was looking innocent. I said, as I walked towards her, “Before we can begin, I need you to look me in the eyes.” Derpy looked into my eyes, then she sat down, and her eyes became glazed and focused, then I called for Octavia and Vinyl, and when they came to the study, I gave them the same treatment.
Once they were all mindless, I said, “You will obey all my commands, without hesitation. When I say awake, you will go back to normal, but you will obey me and call me Master. When I say Sleep, you will return to this mindless state. Once you go outside this base, you will return to normal, but still obey me. You will live with me, until I say so. Do you understand?”
They all said, in one big monotone voice, “Yes Master.”
I smiled and said, Good, now awake.” All three shook their heads and blinked, then they all were about to ask questions, but I stopped them and said, “It’s time for bed, and me being your master in get the bed, Vinyl go get extra blanket, Octavia, make sure the doors are locked and the curtains are shut, Derpy, did you tell anypony where you were heading and do you live with someone?”
Vinyl and Octavia said, yes master, and ran off, Derpy said, no to both of my questions. Vinyl came back with three other blankets, then Octavia came back and reported all the curtains were shut and the door was locked. I climbed into bed. They grabbed a blanket, and curled up in them and went to sleep. I smiled as I watched them sleep, then I turned off the lights and went to sleep.
I was standing in front of an army of mind control slaves, looking at the kingdom of Canterlot. The princesses sent about a hundred or more guards to stop me my army. I said, using the Canterlot voice, “Surrender and you will not be harmed. My army will kill to keep me from harm.” almost half of them laid down their weapon and walked out of the way, but the rest charged at us. I looked left and right to see my generals, Vinyl, Octavia, and Derpy, then gave them the command.
After what seemed like an hour, none were left standing, either dead or wounded. I only lost a fraction of my army. We walked passed the guard and into the castle. There sitting on her throne, sat Celestia, glaring at me. She called for her guards, only about ten came. I made quick work of them, I walked up to Celestia, grabbed her head and made her look into my eyes.
As I sat down on the throne, made entirely of obsidian with blood red cushion, Celestia was at my feet, Princess Twilight was sitting next to me, as my student, my guards were lined up on both sides of the throne room. I looked at the banners that hung around, then at my wings. Then Luna came bursting into my throne room, and walked up to me, everything was disappear behind her, then she stopped at said, after everything was gone, “You think you’re powerful enough to take the throne away, and rule the kingdom.”
I got of the throne, and said, “Equestria has been ruled by one person to long. You should join me, don’t you want the spotlight for a change, and not your sister.” I made Celestia appear and walk around the darkness, like a pet. “Or do you want to be a prisoner.” then Luna was chained to a cold, damp wall. “Or maybe want to be a pet.” Then she had a dog collar around her neck, with a leash to it.
She screamed, “ENOUGH.” Then made everything disappear. “Who are you to think Equestria needs a new ruler. More than 1000 years, my sister has kept this land together, removing her from power would create chaos, and mass destruc.” Her eyes widened, then she looked at me and said, “You’re working for him.”
I smiled, at how scared she looked, then said, “Yes, I am.”
She ran up and went to grab me, but I woke.
I opened my eye to see Vinyl and Octavia sleep on either side of me, and Derpy sleeping at my feet. I muffled the house, so no outside could hear me, then I made little air horn and squeezed it. The sound woke all three up, Vinyl disappeared, Octavia rolled off the bed, and Derpy was in the air in a few seconds. I thought to myself, as I let the magic go, they must not have air horns here.
Vinyl walked into the and said, “What can we do you, master?”
I said, as I got out of bed, “We have to hurry, Vinyl, clean up the study, Octavia, make some tea, and Derpy, clean this room up. I need to talk to someone, and please hurry, Luna is coming over.”
I ran to the living room, and yelled, “DISCORD, I have a question for you, and I want to do an experiment. “
Discord popped up in front of me, and said, “Well, you did a number on them, or maybe he took your power away.”
I looked at him and said, “Quit your chit chat, the question is, do you have any digesting powder that will make anypony trust and believe me easier, and he didn’t take my power away, I just let them have their personalities. Can you hurry I have somepony coming over.
Discord toss me a bag and said, “Here, If you need something, go ask the zebra for it, and who is coming to see you.”
I said, as I walked into the bathroom, “Luna is coming to visit.”
Discord popped in front of me,grabbed my shoulders, and said, “What did you do to annoy Luna, does she know I’m helping you?”
I shrugged of his hands, and said, “Don’t worry, she doesn’t know about you and she saw my dream. Now, get out so I can take a bath.” He disappeared, then I took a bath.
After my bath, I checked on Vinyl, she was napping in the clean study. I walked up to her, and shook her shoulder. She said, half awake, “Do you need me to do something master?”
I said, as I walked out, “Go get some rest, in the bedroom. I checked on Derpy, she was asleep on the floor. I walked the kitchen and asked Octavia, “How is the tea coming?”
Octavia turned around and said, with a yawn, “The tea is ready, master, what do you want to do know?”
Then a knock came at the door, I said, right before I opened the door, “Go sleep in the bedroom, and keep the others quiet.” Octavia ran to the room and shut the door. I turn to the door and opened it. There in the doorway, was a pissed off, but scared, Luna.
She came in and held me against the wall and said, “What did he give you?”
I teleported out of her grasp and said, “Hello Luna, care to join me over a cup of tea, while we talk. I’m sorry, that I abandoned you in my dream. Why don’t you sit down and I’ll make you some tea.”
Luna hesitated, probably thinking what can possibly happen over a cup of tea, then said, “Fine, a cup of tea then you must answer my questions.”
I said, as I levitated two mugs, “Okay, you can you head to the study, I’ll bring the cups of tea.” Luna nodded and headed to the study. I sighed and grabbed the bag and poured a little bit into the cup then added a drop of the potion, he got from him, then made a mug for himself. Then he carried them to the study.
I saw Luna standing there, with her eyes closed. I walked over to her and tapped her on the shoulder, She jumped and said, “Why don’t they have dreams, I can see them, but they are in a dark room. and why is Derpy and Octavia here, and not at their home?”
I gave levitated her mug towards her, and said, “I will answer all your questions, after tea. Now, lets head to the study.” I lead her to the study. I pulled out a chair for her and me, then sat down.
She cautiously took a sip, then her eyes, shrunk a little, then she took a few gulps, then set it down, and said, “What has he given you?
I said, after a sip of my tea, “he gave me a drink, a spell, a cutie mark, and a form.” Then I gulped it all down.
Luna said, after gulping the rest down, “Why are Octavia and Derpy here, and why don’t they have dreams?
I said, as I looked it her cup to make sure it was empty, “They are helping me settle in, since I don’t have a home here. Some ponies just don’t have dream. Just out of curiosity, did you tell anypony that you were coming here.”
Luna said, “No, I just came here. What spell did he give you?”
I said, as I gathered up the mugs, “just a spell to help with sleeping, I can help you. You look a little tired.” Then I looked at the clock. “No wonder, it’s only midnight. I can perform it on you and in the morning you feel a lot better, what do you say?”
Luna got up and said, “No, I should get home.”
I held her in place and set her back in the chair, then I said, “See, you’re so tired, that I can move you. Just this spell and I won’t bug you anymore, and I won’t do anything mean, I promise.”
Luna sighed and said, “Fine, just this one spell, and no other.”
I scooted in my chair, and said, “K, all you have to do is look into my eyes.”
She looked into my eyes, and I could she her body slowly relax and her eyes becoming glazed and unfocused. After a few minutes, she collapsed onto the floor. I said, “Luna, sit in the chair and look at me.” She got up and sat down in the chair, then opened her eyes, they were glazed and unfocused. I released the breath I was holding, and said, “You will obey all my commands, without hesitation. When I say awake, you will go back to normal, but you will obey me and call me Master. You don’t remember why we met for tea. When I say Sleep, you will return to this mindless state. Once you go outside this base, you will return to normal, but still obey me. You will come to me any time, when you can. Do you understand?”
She said, in a monotone, “Yes Master.”
I held my breath and said, “Awake.”
She shook her head, then said, “What do me to do, master?”
I said, “Head to the castle and make sure no one knows about this meeting.”
She nodded, then walked out the door and flew to Canterlot.
I headed back to the bedroom, all three were cuddling as they slept. I quietly got into bed and went to sleep.
I was woken by something blasting around the house, I got up and followed the racket to Vinyl and her dj equipment. I walked up to Vinyl, turned down the volume, then asked where Octavia and Derpy were, She said, “Octavia is practicing her cello, derpy is done her mail run, and something is off I mostly get angry pounding on the door in the morning, but I haven’t got one yet.”
I shrugged, then said, “I’m heading to Zecora’s. Be back in a bit
As I walked around Ponyville, I saw what he wanted me to do, it’s too peaceful. When Discord was running it, it was interesting. Anyway, I need to visit Twilight for a moment, to see if she can show me to Zecora’s place. Then I bumped into a pony. I said, to myself, “this is the second time, I should really watch where I’m going.” I looked up to see Twilight on the ground in front of me.
I said, as I got up, “We really got to stop meeting like this Twilight, don’t know if it’s good for our bodies.”
Twilight got up and said, “Eric, it’s nice to see you again.”
I said, “It’s nice to see you again, Can you show me to Zecora’s place, or, if you’re busy, know someone who can?”
Twilight said, as she smiled, “Sure I can, I’m not that busy.”
I said, while hiding my surprise, “Okay, do you need to get something or could we go right now?”
Twilight said, as she turned, “We can go right now. You know, I need to go there anyway.”
I said, “Sure.”
I followed Twilight into the woods, with a thought going through my head, why is Twilight heading to Zecora. A few minutes into the forest, I said, “just out of curiosity, why are you going to see Zecora?”
She turned around and said, “Luna and I were talking, then she said, she felt a weird presence dreaming, then she disappeared, didn’t show up at all, so I’m going to Zecora’s to see if she know what the presence is.”
I swore, under my breath, I was didn’t ask if anypony was on the verge of knowing. Then I felt a tap on my shoulder, I looked up and Twilight pointed at a house and said, “That’s where Zecora lives.”
I turned to her and said, “Thanks. You should go first. I’m just asking for a plant’s location.” Twilight nodded and walked in. I walked to a tree and sat down, Then I heard Discord say, “What are you doing with Twilight, are you going to control her?”
I said, as quiet as I could, “Quiet, I will but not right now. I’m going to get Zecora to help out.” Then I saw the door opening. I hissed, at Discord, “Hide.” Then I stood up, then walked to Twilight and said, “Did ya find out what the presence is/was.”
She shook her head no and said, “Zecora doesn’t know. Guess I will try Luna again tonight.” Then walked away.
I said, “Discord, watch for anypony, I don’t want my cover to be blown.”
Discord popped by me, with binoculars, and said, “Now, I’m a watcher.”
I said, as I used the binoculars to pull him closer, “I don’t want to be caught, and you don’t want to be either.” Then I walked into Zecora’s place, and said, “Zecora, could you help me with some stuff?”
Zecora said, once she saw me, “I see that you are new, what can I do for you?”
I said, as I walked closer to her, “First could you look into my eyes.”
Zecora said, as she looked into my eyes, “You need to work on your charm, but I don’t see any harm. Then her eyes glazed and unfocused.”
I said, as I walked around, “Do you know what the presence was?
She said, in a monotone voice, “No.”
I said, as I sat down, “You will obey all my commands, without hesitation. When I say awake, you will go back to normal, but you will obey me. When I say Sleep, you will return to this mindless state. Once you go outside this base, you will return to normal, but still obey me. You will live with me, until I say so. Do you understand?”
She said in a monotone voice, “Yes.”
I said, as I opened the door, “Awaken.”
Zecora shook her head, then said, “I know what I must do, how can I help you?”
I said, “I need powder that relaxes the pony, so you can do whatever you want without them getting mad, powder that makes the pony drowsy, powder or potion that makes them trust me easier, and a potion that inhibits any magic. Do you know where Vinyl’s house is?”
Zecora said, with a nod, “Yes I do, is that where you want me to meet you.”
I said, as I walked out the door, “Yes, and make sure you’re not followed, but don’t act suspicious.”
I was walking through the forest, when Discord popped beside me and said, “So, I’m guessing it went successful. How many is that?”
I said, as we left the forest, “Five. Now if you excuse me, I need to pick up my cloak from Rarity.” I walked to the Carousel Boutique, when I entered, I called for Rarity.
Rarity came up and said, “I take it you’re here for your cloak” I nodded, then she went to grab it, when she came back, she told me the price, and the weirdest thing happened, a paw reached over me and placed the bits down.
I turned around to see Discord right behind me, smiling, I grabbed my cloak and placed it on as I left the building. I pulled Discord into an alley, and said, “What are you doing, do you want to get yourself caught, cause I can tell them that you are helping a pony that has taken control of an unicorn, an earth pony, a pegasus, a zebra, and an alicorn.”
Discord said, as relaxed between my eyes, “If you do that, won’t you get into trouble. I mean, you know about it, won’t they suspect you for knowing about it, and not doing anything about it.”
I said, as I shook him off my nose, “You got a point there, why did you buy my cloak?”
He said, as he grew to his normal size, “You are still going to repay me. I just didn’t want you to take long, to pay for your cloak.”
I sighed and said, “Why were you in the Carousel Boutique, you don’t wear clothes.”
Discord changed into a tuxedo, then said, “I do wear clothes.”
I look at him and said, “Really, you make clothes appear on you, you don’t wear actual clothes, the ones somepony makes, so why are you really here.”
He change back and said, “Zecora is on her way with the stuff. “
I waked to the base, opened the door, and looked at vinyl, who was still playing with her dj equipment. I walked up to Vinyl , turned down the volume, then said, “Sleep.” Vinyl placed her hooves down and stared straight. I said, as I removed her glasses, “for the rest of the day you’ll not care that your glasses aren’t on your head. Awake.”
Vinyl shook her head and said, “Master, how did it go?”
I said, “It went according to plan. Now, get ready, Zecora’s almost here.” As soon as I said that, there was a knock at the door. I sighed and opened the door, there stood in the doorway was Zecora, with a bag.
She said, once I opened the door, “I got your herbs and brew, what do you want me to do?”
I said, as levitated the bag off her back, “Go upstairs, and sleep for a bit.” I head to the kitchen to put away the potions and herbs.
As I put them away, I decided to run experiments on how mind control affects the mind. After I got done, I turned to a really pissed off pony made of embers standing there.
My body started burning, as he said, “I sent you here to cause chaos, not making servants.”
I said, “I AM NOT just making servant, what would cause the most chaos?”
He said, “Making Ponyville fight itself?”
I shook my head and smile, out of sheer joy that I know something that he didn’t, then I said, “You’re thinking too small, no wonder you haven’t brought Equestria to it’s knees. I was talking about taking Celestia’s place, she ruled Equestria for more than a thousand years. So, if I take her off the throne, Equestria will fall.” I materialized a pair of tinted safety goggles, then said, after I put them on, “Just think about it, ponies fighting, friends becoming enemies, The Element of Kindness becoming mean, The Element of Honesty lying, The Element of Generosity becoming greedy, The Element of Loyalty running away from her friends and everyone, the sun and moon are gone, eternal darkness. raining fire, sea level lowering, the complete chaos package. Now, go back to your place, I have experiment to do.”
I left him stunned, as he tried to comprehend what I said. Then Discord said, as he followed me to the study, “Wow, you silenced him, but that’s not going to work, I tried it, worked for a bit, but Twilight freed them.”
I said, as I walked into Vinyl’s study, “That is why I’m going to test some stuff. Mainly, how far my control over them goes. If I’m going to do that, then I should start with Derpy, and if I start it with Derpy, I’ll need a muffin. By any chance could you get a muffin, Derpy, Octavia, and her cello? After you give me those I need you to wait outside the house, and look for a opened window.”
Discord grunted as he disappeared, then a few minutes, he appeared, carrying a muffin and Octavia’s cello. Then he said, as he set them down on the desk, “Here is the stuff you wanted.”
I said, as I written what I was going to test, “Where’s Derpy and Octavia?” He opened his hand to show two little figurines, when I looked closely at them, I found that they were exact replicas of Derpy and Octavia. “If you turned them into figurines, I will teleport you into center of the planet or the sun.”
Discord made the figurines disappear and said, “You can’t take a joke. They are already on their way.” Right after he said that, I heard the front door open. As I watched Discord, I called Derpy into the study.
Derpy came in and said, “What do you need me to do master? Hello Discord.”
Discord nodded as he left the room and closed the door, I turned to Derpy and said, “I called you in here to do some testing. Sleep.” Her eyes became glazed and unfocused I walked around the study, thinking how to start my testing. Then I got the perfect idea. I stopped and said, “Derpy, when you wake up, you will have no desire for muffins. Do you understand?”
Derpy said, in a monotone voice, “Yes Master.”
That made me forgot the pain in my neck, from him using the invisible chain around my body, I said, “Awake, Do you care for a muffin?” I levitated the muffin in front of her, but not too close that she can take a bite out of it. She shook her head, and looked at the muffin, then she said, “No thanks. Is that all?”
I nodded my head, then derpy opened the door, to see Octavia standing at the doorway. She said, as she got out of the way for Derpy, “Hello Master, Derpy, Discord said you wanted to see me. Is there something wrong.”
I shook my head and said, “No, close the door so we can begin” She nodded and close the door. When the door was closed, I opened the window, levitated her cello, and said, as I turned to Octavia, “I was wondering what do you think about me dropping your cello out of the window?”
Her eyes widened with fear, then she ran to grab it away from me. I quickly said, “Octavia, sleep.” Her eyes became glazed and unfocused. I set the cello down and said, “You don’t care about the cello, in fact, you never owned a cello. Do you understand?”
She said, in a monotone voice, “Yes Master”
I picked up the cello and said, “Awake.” Once Octavia was awake, I said, while slowly bringing the cello closer to the window, “What do you think of me dropping this cello out the window”
She just stood there and said, “I don’t care about somepony’s cello.”
I dropped it out the window, she didn’t even move. Her eyes never shown fear, worry, and sadness. I looked out the window to see Discord holding a trash can with the cello in it. I didn’t question how it was able to fit, cause of Discord, but I was fuming at the fact that he thought I wanted it thrown away. I teleport next to him, he just said, casually as he put the lid on the trash can, “When you told me to stand outside the window, I wasn’t expecting you to throw a perfectly good cello away.”
I levitated myself, so we were face to face, and said, channelling all my anger of him, “I wanted you to catch it, not put it in the trash. I thrown it out the window for my experiment on Octavia. Now, I’m going to teleport Vinyl and her equipment, I want you to catch it, not throw it away. And get Octavia’s cello out of the garbage, I want them to still play music, after I gain some ground in this soon to be war. Got that?”
Discord laughed, pat me on the head, and said, “Wow, you’ve grown, You almost sound like the princesses, when I have fun. Okay I will stand here a catch it.”
I said, just before I teleported to the roof, “You better.”
I was standing on the roof, taking deep breaths, then I teleported Vinyl and her dj equipment onto the roof. She said, once she was on the roof, “Why did you call me up here, Master?”
I stared at her for a minute, why does she think I called her when I teleported her? I said, “What would you do if I was to drop your dj equipment off the roof.” I levitated her dj equipment to the edge, where Discord was standing below. Her face changed to shock and fear, then anger, then she charged at me, I levitated her to a stop, then I said, “Sleep.” Her emotions went away, as her eyes became glazed and unfocused. I said, as I set down the equipment and Vinyl, “You don’t care about this equipment, you were never a dj. Do you understand?”
She said, in a monotone, “Yes Master”
I levitated the equipment and said, “Awake.” Once she was awake, I said, “What would you do if I was to drop this dj equipment off the roof.”
She just said, “I don’t care.” then teleported herself into the house. I forgot about the equipment, I stopped my magic and let it fall. I ran to the side, to see Discord holding the equipment. I sighed, then I teleported the three test subjects, and their stuff, into the livingroom. I quickly said, “Sleep.” Their questions fell off their tongues, as their eyes became glazed and unfocused. I took a deep breath and said, “The last programs I gave you never happened, You will be the same as this morning. Do you understand?”
They said, in unison, “Yes Master.”
I said, as I check the clock, “Awake” They shook their head, and went on their business. I walked out the door, turned the corner, and said, to Discord, “Lets go see Fluttershy. With you by my side, I think she’ll be okay. The way today went, I really need a pet.”
I followed Discord to Fluttershy’s house, he kept looking back at me, like I was going to do something or run off and take control of another pony. I began to think about the testing yesterday, the results surprised me a little, I didn’t think it would work.
I was lost in thought, I didn’t know Discord stopped, until I ran into him. He turned around, and said, “When I leading you somewhere, don’t be lost in thought. We’re here.”
I looked behind Discord, and saw Fluttershy’s house, it looked like the picture people showed me. I walked and knocked on the door. Fluttershy, open the door a crack and said, “Hello, who’s there?
Discord pushed me out of the way, and said, to me, “I should’ve knocked, she is shy around new ponies.” Then he turned to Fluttershy. “Sorry for my friend, he’s a bit...enthusiastic about meeting new ponies.”
Fluttershy opened the door all the way, once she saw Discord standing, and said, “Discord, came to have tea with me, you should have told me that you were coming.”
Discord rubbed the back of his head, and said, “I thought it would be a surprise, plus I wasn’t expecting to come, but my friend really wanted to meet you.”
Fluttershy said, as I got in view of her, “Ok, um, I didn’t catch your name.”
I bowed and said, “My name is Eric. It’s a pleasure to meet the element of kindness.”
Fluttershy said, “Eric, do you want to have some tea with me and Discord?”
I said, ignoring the look Discord, “I’ll be honored, to join you for tea.”
Fluttershy moved aside, to let me and Discord enter. As She went to get some tea going, Discord grab me and said, “You better not change Fluttershy’s personality, or I will make your life a living hell.”
I said, as I teleported him off of me, “I won’t. I’m only going to make her act like a pet, be she will still be the same.”
Fluttershy came in, carrying a tray with three cups. She said, as she set the tray down, “Who will be the same.”
I said, as grabbed a cup, “oh, nothing.” I took a gulp, that was close, if she heard our conversation, she would have ask a lot more questions. Might as well ask, just to see her opinion. I set the cup down and said, “Fluttershy, I was wondering, just an idea, since it wouldn’t happen, but what do you think of becoming a pet?”
Fluttershy’s eyes widen, and she started to cough. Discord went behind her, and started patting her back, while glaring at me. After she was done coughing, she said, “I don’t know, I never thought about it, I guess, if my owner did the same things I do for angel, I would like it.”
I said, as finished the rest of my tea, “Sorry for the time, besides, where is angel?”
Fluttershy said, “I think he is upstair, sleeping.”
I said, as I set the empty cup down, “I think I can help you overcome your fear, all you have to do is look into my eyes.”
Fluttershy looked at Discord, who nodded in encouragement, then she looked at me. She dropped the cup, as her eyes became glazed and unfocused. I levitated the cup, before it hit the ground, and placed it on the table. Then started to slowly turned her head left, right, up, and down, Until Discord stepped in front of me, and said, “Just put her under control. You acting like this is making me feel weird.”
I released her head from my magic and said, “You will be my pet. You will obey all my commands, without hesitation. When I say awake, you will go back to normal, but you will obey me and call me Master. When I say Sleep, you will return to this mindless state. Once you go outside the base, you will return to normal, but still obey me. You will live with me, until I say so. Do you understand?”
Fluttershy said, in a monotone voice, “Yes Master.”
I turned to Discord and said, “Is that okay with you.?” He nodded. Then I levitated her cup and said, “Awake, you dropped your cup.”
She shook her head, then said, as she grabbed her cup, “thank you. Must be getting tired. I’m sorry to cut this short, but I need to get some sleep.”
I said, as I stood up, “It’s okay, Discord and I need to be going. See ya Fluttershy.” As we walked out, I saw the sun going down and the moon coming up. I ran home to get prepared for Luna to come to our base, with some news.
When I got there, I slowly walked to the bedroom to see everypony sleeping. I closed the door, and walked to the kitchen to get some dinner. After I got my dinner, I heard Luna say, “Sorry Master, I couldn’t betray my sister.”
I turned to her, and said, as I placed dinner down, “I guess I have to work on you a lot, Sleep.” Her eyes became glazed and unfocused. “Whenever you disobey me, you will expect me to punish you. Awake.”
Luna shook her head, and said, as she bowed, “Please punish me master, I disobeyed you.” I smiled and materialized a whip with three strips of leather with a 1/16 of an inch spike all over. I swung it and it connected with her face, leaving three deep scratches across her cheek. She recoiled from it. After nine swing, I let the magic go. She said, as she tried to get up, “I’m sorry Master.”
I said, as I turned away, “go clean yourself up, we don’t want anypony asking question now do we. After you are done, make your way to the front room.”
She said, once she was up, “No master, yes master.” Then made her way to the bathroom. After she got done, she walked to the front room. When she got there she said, “What did you want to speak to me about Master.”
I said, as I sat on the couch, “Is there a place close to ponyville, that can hold an army of ponies, this house is getting crowded, that monster won’t attack any of my army?
Luna said, with a slight hesitation, “There is our old castle, and I can teach you a spell that will keep monster away from your army.”
I sat back on the couch, no wonder why she hesitated, she is offering her old castle, and it close to the tree of harmony. I leaned a hoof out, she flinched as I put a hoof on her head. Then was confused, when I started rubbing her head. I said, as I took my hoof off of her head, “You gave up your old castle for me. You’re slowly becoming a part of my army.”
Then I saw a shadow of something quickly running off. I teleport at the neighbor's house, where the pony, that was staring into the window, ran into me. Luna teleported next to me, and use some kind of magic, that dispelled the cloak off of the changeling. It hissed at me and tried to run away, but I used magic to drag the changeling back to me. I said, as I brought my face closer to it, “Go tell Chrysalis to come to Luna’s and Celestia’s old castle, in the everfree forest, and bring no changelings with her. I want to talk to her.” Then I dropped the changeling, and it ran off. I turned to Luna and said, “Come on let’s go inside, so you can teach me the spell.”
After a few minutes, of learning the spell, I said, “Luna come with me, lets go see our new base.” I walked out the door and headed to the everfree forest. After a while, Luna and I got to the old castle. From the outside, it looked like it was going to topple over if someone breathed on it, but I knew it would be a perfect place to make a base out of.
We went inside. It was in pretty horrible state, two tapestries had holes in it, parts of the ceiling have fallen, a weird decoration sat in the middle. Luna said, “Um, Permission to speak, Master?”
I turned to her and said, “Yeah, what is it?”
Luna turned her head away, rubbed her left front hoof on the back of her right, and said, “I was wondering if I did good.”
I said, with a sigh, “Yes, you did good, but it’s not going to work.”
Shock came over her face and she said, “I don’t understand master, I know this building, it’s perfect for an army.”
I turned to her and said, “It is, but what about the changelings, where are they supposed to be. It will be a good place to meet Chrysalis, but not for the army I will create. Since this place is the best, I guess we will make the base outside, deep enough, so Nopony can see the base. Do you know of an inventor that will be able to make some collars for me.”
Luna said, “there might be a pony that can, but that must wait, I think Chrysalis is almost here.”
I was about to ask what she meant, then I heard it, a buzzing. I walked out of the castle to see Chrysalis and a lot of changelings landing outside of the castle. I walked up to them and said, “Chrysalis, told the changeling to tell you to bring no changelings.”
Chrysalis said, “I wanted to bring them, either they stay or I don’t talk.”
I sighed and said, “Fine, but they stay outside.”
Chrysalis nodded and followed me in. When we were right next the decoration She said, “What did you want to talk to me about?”
I turned around and said, “I want you and I to join forces, to take down Celestia.”
Chrysalis laughed and said, “Why would I join you, I took down Celestia by myself.”
I said, “But you didn’t become queen of equestria, and you were sapping energy from Shining Armor, but I can give you power without draining anypony.”
Chrysalis said, as she walked towards the door, “I have a plan already, so I don’t need your help, and besides you look weak.”
That last comment struck me, I called to Luna, “Don’t let her get through that door.”
Luna came in and shut the door, then stood in front of it. Chrysalis turned to me and said, “What is the meaning of this?”
I said, as I walked towards her, “If you’re stronger than me, why don’t we see by the state of mind. All you have to do is look into my eyes, if you win, will give you all that I control and my power, but if I win, you will pledge your loyalty to me and all of your children’s loyalty.”
Chrysalis sighed, then said, as she looked into my eyes, “Fine, I guess I can take the risk.”
It took a few minutes, and part of my strength, but Chrysalis fell, she fell to the ground and her eyes became glazed and unfocused. I fell to the ground, and passed out. I woke up to Luna standing over me, yelling “Master: I got up and Luna grabbed me in a hold that shocked me. When she pulled away, she said, “I thought you were going to die, and Celestia was going to stay on the throne.
I stood up and said, “How come I took you easily?”
Luna said, “I was drugged and I was barely awake.”
I nodded, then went up to Chrysalis, who was still lying there, and said, “Are you listening?”
Chrysalis said, in a monotone, “Yes.”
I sighed and said, “Chrysalis, you will be my lieutenant. You will obey all my commands, without hesitation. When I say awake, you will go back to normal, but you will obey me and call me Master. When I say Sleep, you will return to this mindless state. Once you go outside the base, you will return to normal, but still obey me. You will live with me, until I say so. Do you understand?”
Chrysalis said, “Yes master.”
I said, “Good, now, awake.”
Chrysalis stood up and said, “What do you command of me Master.”
I said, as I opened the door, “tell your children to stand down and tell them to start taking orders from me.”
Chrysalis walked out the door, and said, “All my children, you will stand down and take orders from master.”
I heard a lot of hissing, as I walked out of the castle. I stood there, in front of the changeling army, I said, as loud as my voice could carry, “I am your true master, Chrysalis, your mother, is underneath me. Now, I need ten of you to get some ponies, and bring them here. Keep it subtle.” Ten of the ones in the front changed into random ponies. I took that as the sign and said, “I need two to get each pony. Vinyl, Octavia, Derpy, Fluttershy, and Zecora. Now, go.”
The ten flew off and I heard a voice behind me, “Well, I see you got an army. When are you going to take over Equestria, so I can get the fireworks ready.”
I turned to see Discord leaning against the doors, with his arms and legs crossed. I walked pass him and said, “I still have work to do, I will take canterlot last. Why are you here, are you stalking me?”
He laughed and said, “No, he wanted to have me keep an eye on you. Just out of curiosity, what are you going to do, after you are done?”
I said, as I heard buzzing, “I don’t know, never thought about it before. If ya excuse me, I need to work on some things.”
I walked out to see the ten changeling carrying my controlled ponies. They landed in front of me, and placed them on the ground. Fluttershy ran up to me and hid, Zecora, Derpy, and Octavia just stood there, in fear and confusion. Vinyl was the only one that gave the changelings, that carried her, a piece of her minds. She turned to the changelings and said, “Why did you take me out of my house, I was in the middle of something.”
I walked out and said, with Fluttershy following me, “Welcome, glad you could make it. Vinyl, I asked them to bring you here, bring all of you here. Our base is too small for our operation. So, we are moving into the forest, away from curious eyes, from nosy ponies.” Then I turn to Chrysalis and said, “Chrysalis, Luna, and Fluttershy, follow me. When he find a place for our place, I want you, Luna to come and get the army. Got that?”
Luna said, as she stood straighter, “Yes master.”
As we walked through the forest, I kept seeing animal, but they didn’t come at me. After what seemed like an hour of searching, I came across a place where was open enough so tent could be placed out, but hidden enough so no one can see the camp from the sky. I turned to Luna and said, “This is where our base is going to be. Go get the others.” Luna nodded and walked back the way we came. I turned Fluttershy and rubbed her head, she leaned into my hoof, and said, to Chrysalis, “Are you okay with me using your changelings?”
She nodded and said, “you can use them as you like.”
I nodded, then I heard groaning and buzzing. I turned around to see Luna leading the army to where the base. She said, as she lead them to me, “I brought them as you requested.”
I nodded and said, “Thanks Luna.” Then I turned to the whole group. “This will be our new base, I need some of you to get and put up tents, find some food, collect money, and decide on a perimeter and discuss it with Chrysalis.” The changelings got to work, and I said, to the others, “I’m going to go into town to see if I can get more follower. Find me if there is a problem.” They nodded and I left, heading back to Ponyville.
I was walking on the streets of ponyville when a pony slammed into me. I got off the ground and said, as I dust myself off. “Watch where you are flying. You could have killed me. and I have an important role in Equestria.”
Then I heard a voice say, “Yeah, so do I. I’m going to become a wonderbolt.” I turned to see Rainbow Dash dusting herself off.
I thought in my head, This is my lucky day, then I said, “Oh, Rainbow Dash, sorry, I thought you were somepony else. I held out a hoof, my name is Eric Lumber. I don’t mean to sound mean, but will you please join me for a drink?”
Rainbow Dash looked up into the sky, like she was thinking, then she said, “Alright, but you have to beat me in a race.”
I said, “I think that would be unfair, only one pony can keep up with you on the ground and I’m a unicorn.”
She said, Oh, right. Guess you win.” She followed me to a seat, where we got our drinks, then she excused herself. I took that opportunity to slip some trust potion and a dash of relaxing powder into her drink, and quickly hid them right before she came back. She sat down and took a few gulp, then said, when she saw me staring, “Do you need something?”
I said as I grabbed my drink, “No, nothing at all.” Then I gulped down my drink. After I was done, I said, “Rainbow Dash, Is it fine if I can you Rainbow for short?”
She said, with a shrug, “I don’t see why not?”
I said while screaming in my head, “Ok, I was wondering if you’ll be able to follow me into the forest, I need some help with setting a camp?”
Rainbow finished off her drink and said, as she got off the seat, “Sure, let's go.” I was thanking the potion for working, and Zecora for making it. When we got there, she stopped. I looked at her face, it had terrified all over. Who can blame her, changelings were everywhere? She said, “I can’t believe we didn’t notice this many changelings around. I have to warn Twilight, so she can send a message to Celestia and Luna.”
I tackled her to the side, pinned her down, and said, “Not yet, I want to see what they are up to. How does Twilight send messages?” She kicked me off which made me crash into a tree, and black out.
I woke up to me being shaken. I opened my eyes, Fluttershy was shaking me. She kept saying Master. When I opened my eyes, she gripped me in a hug, and said, ‘I thought you were gone. Don’t try to move, the changelings went to the castle to hide while Vinyl and Octavia goes to get help.”
I said, with a weak smile, “Now why would I need help?” I tried to move, but I felt a sharp pain in my back. I reached a hoof behind and felt something hard connecting me and the tree. Then it dawned on me what it was, a branch. I quickly looked at my hoof to see blood. I leaned my head back and said, “so this is how I get hurt, being kicked into a branch.” Then I heard hooves coming towards me. I looked towards it. Vinyl and Octavia were running towards me, along with a white earth pony with a light pink mane.
She said, “My name is Nurse Redheart, this is going to hurt.” Then she pulled me off the tree. I clench my teeth. When I was off, I was on the verge of passing out in pain, I could barely hear anything, but a sharp pain kept me conscious. After the pain was done I fell asleep.
In my dream, I heard laughing, the ember pony appeared and he said, “You're on the verge of dying by a tree, you’re pathetic.
I said fueling all my rage, “I got an army already. Now are you going to help me or not.” Then I was ripped out of my dream by shaking. I opened my eyes to see Nurse Redheart gently shaking me. I said, mostly to myself, “What is with me being shaken?”
She said when she saw me open my eyes, “You know it’s dangerous to sleep when you are on the verge of death.”
I noticed a changeling hiding behind a tree, I mouthed “Kidnap her, I will need medical help.” the changeling nodded then ran off. Leaving me with Nurse Redheart. I said, "Where are Vinyl, Octavia, and Fluttershy?
Nurse Redheart said, “Vinyl and Octavia said something about gathering up stuff, and Fluttershy said, she was going to check on her animal and meet you at the castle.”
I nodded and said, “Can you grabbed my drink, it in the tent with the flaps open?” Nurse Redheart walked away and I said, once she was out of earshot, “Changelings, I need help to get to the castle, could you grabbed me, gently, as you’re grabbing Nurse Redheart?” I heard a familiar hiss and saw about six of them , two of them walked in my tent and I heard screaming and saw Nurse Redheart being dragged out and brought her to me. I said, “Nurse, just look into my eyes and they won’t hurt you. Nurse Redheart struggled a little, then gave in looked my eyes. After a few minute the changelings, that were holding her, let her go. She didn’t even try to run off. I said, “Nurse Redheart, you will answer me when I call you nurse. When I say sleep you will into this trance. and when I say awake you will return to normal. Do you understand?”
She said, in a monotone “yes.”
I said, “Awake, Take her to the castle, and carry me there.”
She shook her head, then said, “You’re in league with them.” Then she ran off but didn’t get far. Two changelings grabbed her and flew her to the castle. The other four grabbed a hoof and flew me there as well.
When we got there, I was placed on the throne. Fluttershy came up and sat right next to me. I heard Rainbow screaming/yelling, “Fluttershy, what is wrong with you? What did you do to her, you psycho?”
I turned to her and said, “I did nothing, I just gave her a little more freedom. Like I’m going to do to you.”
Then I heard a voice quietly say, “Rainbow Dash, no.”
Rainbow must have heard it as well, cause she said, “Twilight, get out of here and send a message to Celestia and Luna.”
I said, “Take her to the dungeon, the rest of you, find Twilight.” Once they were all gone, I said, “Luna, find a book, that Twilight doesn’t have, on memory erasing, and keep up the good work.”
Luna came out of the shadows and said, “Yes master.” Then disappeared.
Then I heard a voice that made me want to kill myself for my stupidity. I turned to see Nurse Redheart being held. She said, “You got to Luna as well. I must warn somepony when I get out of here.”
I said, “Sleep.” Her eyes became glazed and unfocused. I said, “You are my nurse, You will obey all my commands, without hesitation. When I say awake, you will go back to normal, but you will obey me and call me Master. When I say Sleep, you will return to this mindless state. Once you go outside this base, you will return to normal, but still obey me. You will live with me, until I say so. You will forget that I control Luna. Do you understand?”
She said, in a monotone voice, “yes master.”
I said, “Awake.”
She came up to me and said, “turn over so I can see how the stitches are coming.”
I turned around and I heard her gasp. Then I said, as I turned around, “What, why did you gasp?”
She just stared and said, “Y-y-your stitches, they are disappearing. What is that?”
I turned to see the ember pony standing there. I turned to him and said while waving the nurse away, “What do you want.”
He said, “We didn’t get to talk when you were sleeping. How do you like your gift, and I think you know what the gift is, I thought it would take you longer to get an army. “
I said, “Thanks, I like it, now go back to wherever you live. My army will be back any minute with Twilight and I don’t want them to think that I’m not on top of the chain.”
He raised his hooves and said, “Ok, but a friendly warning, an army only has one in control. Who is it you or Chrysalis.” Then he disappeared in a fire, leaving that thought sitting there in my head.
Chrysalis came back and said, “Master, is something wrong?
I realized that I was glaring and I said, “No, it’s nothing. Did you find Twilight?”
Chrysalis said, “Yes master, we found her, she was in her castle. Lucky Spike wasn’t there, so we could get her before she sent a message to Celestia. The army is bringing her.”
I said as I got off the throne, “Good now bring up Rainbow Dash.” Chrysalis nodded and walked away
Luna appeared behind me and said, “I brought the book as you requested, I also brought a magic inhibitor ring as well.”
I said as I set it down in front of me, “Thanks, Luna, you might want to leave, Celestia might be wondering where you are, and I don’t want Rainbow and Twilight finding out.”
Luna nodded and disappeared, and just in time, Rainbow was being dragged in. She was screaming, “If I was free from your grasp, I would kick your but.”
I walked to Rainbow and said, as I grabbed a tube of clear water, ‘Rainbow, calm down, we are not going to hurt you.”
She spat in my face and said, “Yeah right, and how am I to trust you. You lied about what you do.”
I wiped the spit off my face and said, to a changeling, “Open her mouth.” After a bit struggling and a few bites. Rainbow’s mouth was open. I poured a few drops into her mouth and closed her mouth and covered her nose to make her swallow the water. After she swallowed, He let her mouth go and said, “Let her go, she’s not going to be a problem.”
The changeling looked at each other and then released her. she slumped forward but had enough strength in her front leg to keep her ribs off the ground and kneel in front of her. I placed my hoof underneath her chin, then I heard Twilight say, “Rainbow Dash, run. What did he do to you?”
I said as I saw Twilight being held there, “Somepony gag her, and place this on her horn I don’t want to hear her trying to snap Rainbow out of it, or using magic.” A changeling grabbed the bandage off the throne, and the ring then wrapped it around Twilight’s mouth and placed it on her horn. Then I turned to Rainbow and said, “I know you’re tired all you have to is looked into my eyes, then you can sleep.” I lifted her head so that we were looking eye to eye. After a few minute, her eyes closed and she leaned against my hoof, then I said, as I gently laid her down on her side, “Let her go and guard every exit. We also have Spike with us so if you try to escape, he will die.”
The changelings let her go and she ran up to Rainbow and started to shake her awake, but Rainbow didn’t wake up. I walked up to them and said, “Twilight, she is in a trance. She won’t wake up until I say so. Let me give a demonstration, Rainbow, stand up and open your eyes.” Rainbow stood up and opened her eyes, revealing them to be glazed and unfocused. “You are my personal guard. you will stop any intruder from getting to me. You will obey all my commands, without hesitation. When I say awake, you will go back to normal, but you will obey me and call me Master. When I say Sleep, you will return to this mindless state. Once you go outside this base, you will return to normal, but still obey me. You will live with me until I say so. Whenever you disobey me, you will expect me to punish you. Do you understand?”
Rainbow said, “Yes master.”
Twilight said, “Eric, why are you doing this? What is your goal?”
I said, as I grabbed Vinyl’s glasses of her head and placed them on me and rose on my hind legs, “Cause this Age of Celestia, is at its end. I will show it to her that her rule is over, and mine is beginning. The Age of Chaos.” Then I handed them back to Vinyl.
Twilight said, “So Discord is behind this.”
I laughed and said, “He’s weak compared to who is really in charge. It’s now time for you to forget, Twilight.” I opened the book and found the spell. it was pretty simple. I just cast it and Twilight fell forward. I said, ‘Rainbow, awake.”
She got up said, “What can I do for you, master?”
I said, “Take Twilight back to her castle and then wake her up and convince her that everything is fine, then come back to the base camp.” She saluted, then picked her up. and flew out the door. Then I turned to Chrysalis and said, “Come, walk with me.”
She followed me down the hall, after awhile, she said, “Why did you want me to walk with you?”
I said, “You know, there have been many battles, and the armies had one pony in charge. Just out of curiosity, do you think you would be able to betray me.” I watched her movements for any sign of fear of me figuring out, but I didn’t see any.
She said, “No, you’re the general, I’m just a lieutenant.”
I said, “Ok, that’s good to hear. I just wanted your answer. Sleep.”
She was about to fall forward on her face, but I levitated her gently to the ground, and said, “Chrysalis, when I say freeze, you will become like a statue, a mindless statue, but able to be moved. When I say unfreeze, you will be able to move and think again, but won’t remember anything that happened to you when you were frozen. Do you understand?”
She said, “Yes.”
I said, “Now get up and then awake.”
She got up and shook her head, then said, “What happened?”
I shrugged and said, “I just asked you a question and you answered.” then he said, really quietly, “Freeze.” Chrysalis stopped moving, and stared at him, for a very long time.
I walked up to her and levitated her up into the air, and turned her over. She didn’t move at all, except her mane and tail. Then he heard a voice say in his ear, “Really, you’re playing with your lieutenant.” I was surprised that I lost my concentration, and dropped Chrysalis. Discord snapped his fingers or nails, and Chrysalis stopped falling Then he said, “Do you really want her to ask questions why her back is broken.”
I scowled at him and said, “I wouldn’t have dropped her if you didn’t make me lose my concentration.”
He laughed and said, “Wow, His greatest weapon can lose his concentration. That is funny.”
I said, “What do you want?”
Discord disappeared and reappeared on my nose, and said, “I came cause I’m bored and wanted to know what you were doing.”
I shook my head, dislodging him off, and said, “getting ready to take control of Ponyville and then Canterlot, and will you quit doing chaos around me. Could you be useful, like finding out where ponies are? One pony I want to not meet yet is Pinkie Pie, can you keep her away from places that I’m going.” As I was leaving, I placed Chrysalis right where she was and said, “unfreeze.”
After she started moving and was about to talk, I said, to Chrysalis and Discord, “I’m heading to Applejack’s. Discord, I need you to keep her away from me, I can’t let her know me. Chrysalis, you are in charge here, but don’t send an attack. I have a plan that will surely get Ponyville under my control.” They both nodded and walked out the door.
As I was walking through Ponyville, I thought about how I’m going to do this, She’s the element of honesty, so I can’t lie, but if I tell the truth, I will be found out, maybe if I should wing it, but that probably won’t work.. Then I was tackled to the ground, and a sharp rock. The rock missed the place where I got stabbed by a branch, but I can feel it going through my skin.
I looked up to see Pinkie Pie standing on me. I swore quietly to myself, Discord didn’t do what I asked, now I’m going to have a party for being new. No, I’m not going to have a party. Then I realized Pinkie Pie was talking, “your name?
I said, as I teleported from under her, “Sorry, what were you saying, I got a bit sidetracked.”
PInkie said, “I said, hello, I haven’t seen you before, so you must be new. I’m going to throw you a party. Then I ask what your name is.”
I said, “If you look into my eyes, I will tell you my name. “ Pinkie looked confused about what I asked of her, then it looked like she just shrugged it off, and looked into my eyes. After a few minutes, Pinkie lost her grin, and her eyes became glazed and unfocused. I said, “Pinkie, when I say awake, you will head back to the bakery, with no memory of me or this conversation, so you won’t make a party for me. When I say sleep, you will fall into this mindless trance. Do you understand?”
She said, in a monotone voice, “Yes.”
I said as I turned around the corner, “Awake.” When I could see the apples in the distance, I saw Discord leaning against the tree. I walked up to him and said, “You were supposed to keep Pinkie Pie away from me.”
He said, “I kept her away from Applejack, and did you more of a favor, I made sure the other stayed away from her.”
As I was walking away, he tried to hide a laugh but failed. I turned to him and said, “What is so funny, and make it quick, I want to get the ponies at the spa. and relax.”
He said as he snapped a mirror in his claws, “I think Nurse needs to see you after you get Applejack and before you go to the spa.” I looked at my back, through the mirror, and saw what he was talking about. I had blood running down my back. That gave me an idea. I hugged Discord and said, “Thank you for the idea.” I left, listening to the mirror hitting the ground.
I walked through the trees, getting the blood going, then after a few minutes and walked to the house, looking for applejack. I kept off the road, so I wasn’t see by the others. When I saw Applejack, I acted like I was injured, wasn’t that hard, since I was losing a bit of blood.
I said, when I came into view, “I need you help?’ Wasn’t a total lie, I did need her help with taking over Ponyville.
Her eyes widened and she said, as she ran to me, “What happened?”
I said, smiling to myself, “I fell on a sharp rock.”
She said, as she helped me to the ground, “How long have you been bleeding?”
I shrugged the best I could and said, “Don’t know, I think for awhile.”
She said, as she was just about to leave, “I’m going to get some help, you stay right here, and don’t try to move.”
I was screaming in my head, but I just said, with a little bit of demand, “There is one thing that will be quick, all you have to do is look into my eyes and it will be all better.” I didn’t add that it will be better for her and not for me. She looked into my eyes, and I watched the worry leave her eyes, as they became glazed and unfocused. I said, as I rolled on my stomach, “Go outside the orchard, tell Discord, Master wants you to get Redheart and bring her to him, then come back and wait for further instructions. Run.” She hurried towards the entrance. I layed there, and closed my eyes, then I saw hooves coming my way. I was so tired that I didn’t even open my eyes.
Then I heard Discord say, “Wow, you lost a lot of blood.”
I wanted to tell him that he was not helping, but Redheart beat me to it. She said, “Discord, that’s not help, I think it’s not. Judging from the blood on his back, the trail, and on the tree, I’m amazed by him just passing out right now. He must have more blo--” Their voices faded into the dark, as I passed out.
I had a weird dream. I was standing in a room, then the light came on the other side. There was my human self, chained to the wall and my pony self. The human side said, with tears streaming down his face. “Why are you doing this? Can’t you see you are hurting their will to live, by making them obey?”
The pony side just laughed and said, “They listen to themselves every day, so it doesn’t mattered, if I control them. They would be weak if I don’t take control.”
The human said, “Sure they are weak, but they will get stronger. But if they are under your control, they’ll remain weak. You are doing this not to help them, but to destroy their way of life, to create chaos, for the one that stripped you of me and locked me away.”
Then a third one appeared. He looked like the pony one, but with chains all over his body, and his eyes were a magenta color. He said, “Both of you, just shut up. This bickering is getting us nowhere. I have a plan that can go for both of you.” Then he looked straight at me and said, “And you. don’t you want to hear it.”
I woke up to see Discord drinking a glass, I said, as my best impression of the ember pony, “Didn’t I tell you to not do chaos around me.”
He choked on the glass, and said, when he realized it was just me, “Oh very funny. I supposed you like seeing me choke on a glass. Thought you were going to die for sure this time.”
I smiled and said, “It will take a lot more than a rock to kill me.” Then it hit me, “How long has Applejack been standing there?”
Applejack said, “About 2 hours.”
I said, “Is there anything you need to do?”
She said, “I need to go to the bathroom.”
I said, “Discord, can you take notes for me, I would do it myself, but I almost bled to death.”
He smiled and said, “Sure, but you will owe me.” He made pen and paper appear,
I didn’t ask where he got the idea of a pen, I said, “Will answer question, if it refers to them, even if not talking to them.”
He written it down and said, “Now what?”
I said, as Redheart helped me up, “Applejack, you will obey all of my commands, without hesitation, When I say awake, you’ll act normal, but will still obey. Once a week, you will bring half of your vegetation to the old castle in the everfree forest. You won’t tell anypony where you are going if they ask. Changeling will take the food off of you, then you head home. When I say sleep you will fall into this mindless trance. You won’t care if you are wearing your hat. You will call me master. Do you understand?”
She said, “Yes master.”
I said, “Awake.”
She shook her head and said, “Master, are you alright?”
I said, as I stood up, “I’m fine. Go do whatever you need to do. May I have your hat.”
I saw her hesitate, and I thought it wouldn’t work, but then she said, with a smile, “Sure.” Then she took it off her head and placed it on mine. I stood there, stun, then I was poked by Discord. I nodded and walked out of the orchard and to the camp.
When I got there I saw changeling running around, and grabbing weapons. I yelled, so every changeling could hear me, “Stop what you are doing.”
Every changeling stopped and looked at me. Chrysalis came out of the main tent and said, “Master, you’re okay.”
I stormed to her, as I made my whip appear, then I whipped her in the face with it. I could hear the army of changelings hiss at me, but I didn’t care. I said, “What the hell are you doing, I told you not to get ready for war yet. I have a plan and it doesn’t involve weapons.”
She said, as she back into the tent, “I’m sorry I disobeyed you. I thought, since you were gone for a while, you were captured.”
I said, as I raised the whip again, “I am much stronger than you dare to believe. I will make you not underestimate me again.”
I don’t what happened, I was just angry. I whipped her for hours, nopony dared to step into the tent, even though they heard Chrysalis screaming, crying, and begging for mercy. Then I felt something grab hold of the whip. I turned around to see who will be next to punish. Discord was standing there, holding the whip. He said, “I think that is enough.”
I looked back at Chrysalis and the tent. All the furniture was tossed to the side, and Chrysalis laid there, shivering and covered in cuts all over her body. I said, as I let my magic go, “Fine. Redheart, take care of Chrysalis.” Redheart and Luna came into the tent and helped Chrysalis out the tent, Leaving me and Discord alone in there. I said, after I made a throne, and put everything the way it was, “Is that all you need, Discord, to stop me?”
Discord said, “What happen to you? You were nice, evil but nice, ever since you got stabbed in the back you have been getting meaner to Chrysalis and the others. that have been with you for more than a day. First, it was Rainbow Dash, then Luna, and finally Chrysalis.
I said, “I just came to realization to being nice will leave me in chains. Now get out.” He glared at me, then left, leaving me with myself and my dreams.
I walked out of the tent, all the changelings were staring and hiss at me, but they didn’t attack me, they parted for me to walk through them. I didn’t care, I was still angry at Chrysalis for making the army make weapon and underestimating me.
I walked into Carousel Boutique and Rarity said, “Welcome back Eric, do you need something.”
I said, “I need you to look into my eyes, it will only take a few minutes.” Rarity looked into my eyes and then she sat down and her eyes became glazed and unfocused. I didn’t waste anytime to check if the building was empty. “Rarity, you will be my clothes designer. You will do whatever I tell you, without hesitation. You will call me master. You will act normal, but will still obey me. When I say awake, you will return to normal. When I say sleep, you will return to this mindless trance. Do you understand?”
She said, in a monotone voice, “Yes master.”
Then a voice from upstair said, “Did you say something sis?” I looked up and a white unicorn filly with pink and purple mane and tail. I forgot to check if anypony was here. She said, when she saw me, “Oh, hello, didn’t know she had a customer. My name is Sweetie Belle, what’s your’s?”
I said, as he bowed trying to hide his suspicious actions, “Eric Lumber, Pleasure to meet you.”
She said, as she walked away, “Rarity, I’m heading out to play with the Cutie Mark Crusaders.” I sighed and turned back to Rarity then she said, “That’s weird, she always answers me.” She walked walked up to Rarity and poked her, she just swayed, then didn’t move a bit. Then Sweetie Belle said, as she turned to me, “What’s wrong with her?”
I sighed, there is no point of hiding it anymore, then I said, while sealing the door shut and muffled all the sound that comes from here, “I hypnotized her, and she’s is under my control. The same for you. All you have to do is look into my eyes and it will be all over.”
She scream and ran to the door. She tried to open with magic, but it wouldn’t open. She turned and looked at me with fear in her eyes, as I grew closer. Then I felt something grab me by the neck. Then Sweetie Belle said, “Luna, please let this be a dream. Discord, are you part of the dream as well.”
I jumped with my back legs and, when I saw Discord lower half of his body, I kicked him into the wall. Then I said, “What are you two doing here? You are not supposed to be interfering with my plan.”
Discord said, as he picked himself up. “I followed you to this place. When I saw Sweetie Belle was in there I brought Luna here. You still acting crazy, you can just erase her memory, like Twilight, but controlling a filly? That’s low, even for you.”
I said, as I shoved Discord out the window and locked it, “This is the new me, get used to it. I might change Fluttershy’s personality.” Then I walked to Luna and said, “Get out of the way, so I can hide my plan.”
I could see my control trying to make her get out of my way, but her will is fighting. Discord popped back in and said, “Luna take Sweetie Belle back to bed, and perform the spell. Also teleport Rarity to a different room. I need to talk to Eric.”
I ran at Sweetie Belle, then Luna teleported her and Sweetie Belle away. I glared at Discord and said, “Why don’t I tell everyone that you are helping make chaos again.”
Discord said, “I know you are not feeling like yourself, so, sorry I have to do this.” I was about to ask what he meant by it, but then I was thrown into a wall and black out.
I woke up to see Luna and Discord standing there above me. I said, “What happened?” Then it all came flooding back. I sat up and said, “Did I do all that?”
Discord said, “Yeah, I’m guessing your are feeling better.”
I said, “Where’s Rarity, I still need to finish her. Did you erase Sweetie Belle’s memory?”
Luna said, “I did and she is right where I left her. Discord said that so you would think I was teleporting her away, so you couldn’t make Rarity into an attacker.”
I nodded and said, “Awake.”
She shook her head and said, “When did you two get here? Nevermind that. Master, is there something you need?”
I said, “Uh, yeah. I need about a few thousand plain coats with my cutie mark on the front. I would like them all black.”
Rarity’s eyes widen and she said, “When do you need them?”
I said, as Discord helped me up, “Time is a thing, I just need them for when I become ruler.” Rarity nodded and went to a different room then I said, “Discord, could you teleport me back to base. Luna gather up everypony that is at the base. I need to make an announcement.”
Discord open his mouth, to say something, but he closed it and nodded. Then we were back there. Changelings were glaring at me. I said, “Discord, can you make a stage, nothing big, just a small stage so everypony can see me.” Discord nodded and made a small stage. I said, “Thanks and keep it here. I don’t think it will be the last time I have to apologize.” I walked onto the stage and saw everypony. I took a deep breath and said, “Hello, everypony, I want apologize for how I acted today. I don’t know what happened I just felt angry, for no reason. I reasoned it to Chrysalis making weapons. I thought she was going to wage war on Equestria, against my order, but now I realize she was worried about me, and my quest. Until I figure out what is going on, I might be get angry for no reason. If that happens, just know that I’m not doing that on purpose, even if I say it is. So, in other words, I’m sorry.”
I waited for them to yell at me, or come up on the stage and beat me up, but the unexpected happened. The changelings stopped hissing and glaring at me, Chrysalis nodded to me and said, “Looks like we all forgive you.” I smiled and went to my tent, to get some sleep.
That night, he had a dream about his old life. I was standing on another side of a window. I saw myself, human version, talking to a woman. I couldn’t hear what was being said, but I knew what was being said, I tried to look away, but I couldn’t look away. I watch the woman throw her hands air and walked out the door, the other me sat down and covered his eyes. I heard sniffing by me, I was able to look to my right. There stood Luna, crying. I woke with a start. Luna was standing above me. I said, as I got up, “What do you want, Luna.”
She said, as she wiped her eyes, “What happened in the dream?”
I said, as I went outside, “A break up.” I walked outside to see it was still night. I sighed and walked into the Everfree Forest. I heard a set of hooves coming after me, I turned around to see Luna following me. I said, with annoyance, “What do you want? Why are you following me?”
She said, “I want to know how this break up happened.”
I said, “We didn’t see eye to eye. There, happy?” I sat down by a tree and stared at the stars. “I can’t remember what happened, she came to my house, then she said something I can’t remember, but only three word I remember her saying, We’re breaking up. Then we got into an argument about something. She left and that’s all.”
I felt a hoof across my shoulder, I looked at Luna, to see her smiling. She said, “Is that better to talk about it, and you know it’s okay to cry.”
I brushed her off and said, “No, it’s not better, I can make you forget. I will not cry, because today is the day I take Ponyville for myself, and I don’t want to look weak in front of the army. Hurry and get to Celestia, so she doesn’t think that anything is wrong. I walked back to the camp and called a meeting of everypony. When they came, I said, “I need an even number of changelings to be at each area that has a train stop, that include here. Oh, in disguises. Chrysalis, you are staying here. The rest of you will head to Ponyville, and wait until the train gets here. Then you shed your disguises and round up all the ponies, without hurting them. If ponies get hurt, take care of them, then bring them to me Leave Applejack, Rarity, all the fillies, and Pinkie Pie alone. Does everypony know what they are doing?” Everypony nodded then left. Leaving me and Chrysalis alone. I said, “Oh, I just remembered, we need to crippled their communications. I need you to get Spike, so Twilight won’t be able to contact Celestia.”
Chrysalis nodded and said, “I will get it done/” I nodded and left.
As I was walking I saw Twilight heading from the castle. I walked up to her and said, “Hey, Twilight, what are you doing out here this early in the morning?”
She jumped and said, “I was just checking something. Nice to see you again. Applejack and Rarity came by and told me that you met with them. Applejack said you were hurt, are you okay?”
I said, with a smile, “I’m fine, can we talk in your castle. I always wanted to see the inside for a while.”
She said, “Sure, follow me.” I followed her into her castle. My jaw dropped when I saw the inside. The place was made of crystals. We passed the library, and that’s where I met Spike. She said, which snapped me out of my thoughts, “This is my assistant, Spike. He’s a baby dragon. We’ve known each other since I was a filly.”
I nodded and said, “Hello Spike, My name is Eric Timber.” I held out a hoof for him to shake.
He said, as he took my hoof, “Hello, I’ve heard about you from Twilight. Did you know she had a dream about you?”
Twilight said, “Spike, I don’t think he wants to know about that.” She blushes, from embarrassment, and said, “Sorry about that, he’s, technically, my little brother, since I raised him from an egg.”
I nodded, and said, “Twilight, could you give me a moment with Spike. I want to get an opinion from an assistant’s point of view, without any “interference”. You could say it’s like a test, a harmless one.”
Twilight nodded and said, “I get what you mean, if I was here, watching, you wouldn’t have an honest answer. I’ll get the tea going.”
When she walked away, I said, “Do you think, hypothetically, that Twilight would be a good assistant?
Spike stared at me and said, “I guess. Why do you ask?”
I said, “Just curious. How do you like living here?”
He said, “It’s okay, it’s just big, so it’s hard to clean.”
I nodded and said, “I left something with a pony, she is holding something you might like. Just walk around, and the pony might find you. Oh, and don’t tell Twilight.”
He opened his mouth, then close it and walked out the door. I walked into the kitchen to be handed a cup of tea. As we sat down, Twilight said, “Where’s Spike?”
I said, after gulping down my tea, “He said he need to grab something. So, do you like living here?”
Twilight said, “It’s okay.” We talked for what seemed like hours, we finished off a pot of tea, then I heard the train’s whistle. I ran to the window to see the train pulling up. I heard Twilight say, “That’s just the train, you must have been waiting for the train.”
I said, as I was sighing in my head, “You could say something like that.” What she didn’t know is that the train is holding the one thing that will end her reign of Ponyville, and the start of mine.
Then I heard the door slam open. I walked out the kitchen to see Applejack standing there. I swore under my breath, she can ruin it. I turned around to see a changeling flying right behind Twilight. I said, “Twilight, Applejack here to see you.” I quietly opened the window. The changeling handed me a ring that I needed. I grabbed it and said, quietly, “Thanks.”
I heard Twilight talking to Applejack. I quietly slipped the ring on Twilight’s horn. She didn’t notice me, until Applejack said, “Hi, Master.”
Twilight turned to me and said, “Master? What is going on?”
Before I could say it was a joke, there was screaming coming from outside. Twilight was walking to the door, when I said, “Applejack close the door, and keep them closed until I say or you hear hissing on the other side.”
Applejack ran passed Twilight, and slammed the doors shut. Twilight stopped and said, as she turned to me, “What did you do?”
I sighed and said, “I’m controlling all of the other elements. and the train brought an army of changelings here. Now, we can do this the easy way or the hard way. Either way, I won’t take no for an answer.” Twilight’s face scrunched up, I think she was trying to use magic. When she found out she couldn’t she ran. “I guess the hard way” I took off after her.
I caught her in the throne, I tackled onto the table. She said, as I pinned her down, “What are you doing? Let me go.”
I said, with a smile, “I guess I forgot that I erased your memories. Oh well, I need you to look me in the eyes. I don’t think Spike will be able to send a message.” Twilight was caught off guard, I moved my back legs to hold down her front leg, and used my front leg to hold her head still. She tried to fight it. It took an hour or two, I felt the fight slowly leaving her. Her eyes slowly becoming glazed and unfocused. Then her eyes shut and she went limp. I got off of her, and she didn’t move. I walked to where I can see Applejack and said, “You don’t after guard the doors. Open them.” She nodded and opened them.
When I walked out I was blinded by the sun. When I could finally see, what I saw amazed me, all the changelings were standing/flying behind all the ponies of Ponyville. I saw happiness drained out of all their faces. I guess they were hoping Twilight was coming out. I said, “I know you were hoping that I was beaten, but it didn’t happen that way. I know you don’t understand why I did it, but just give me a chance and other villains. Chrysalis, come here for a minute.” Chrysalis came up to me and dropped her disguise. “Chrysalis here just wanted some to feed her children. Discord just wanted some fun, I know he takes some a little too far. What I’m trying to say is that not all villains are evil. If you get to know them, you will find out their reason. All I need you all to do is look into my eyes.” There was a lot of chatting between all of them. Then, one by one, they looked me in the eyes, and, one by one, they fell. some collapsed, and other just stood. I couldn’t see their eyes. I said, “You will not tell anyone outside of Ponyville right now. You will act like nothing's wrong. you will be okay with Changeling guards walking through the street. When I say awake, you will return to normal. When I say sleep, you will return to this trance. You will give love to any changeling. Do you understand?”
They all said, in a single monotone voice, “Yes.”
I turned to Chrysalis and said, “Is that okay for you?” She nodded. I turned back and said, “Awake.” They turned to the army of changelings, I laughed as I saw the army getting nervous. Then everypony tackled the changeling army, even one tackled Chrysalis. I smiled as I walked back into the castle.
I walked into the throne room to see right where I left her, asleep on the table. I said, “Twilight, can you hear me?”
She said, in a monotone voice, “Yes.”
I said, “Sit on the edge and be completely relaxed.” Twilight sat up and scooted to the edge of the table. I held one of her front hooves and dropped it. I said, “You will be my assistant. you will not tell Celestia about this. you will do what I ask, without hesitation. When I ask you a question, you will answer it truthfully. When I say awake, you will return to normal, and when I say sleep, you will return to this relax mindless trance. Do you understand?”
She said, “Yes.”
I said, “Awake”
She lifted her head, and was about to say something when a changeling bursted through the doors, and said, as the changeling threw on a disguise, “Princess Celestia and Luna are almost here.”
I quickly turn to Twilight and said, “Do you know why the princesses are here?”
Twilight said, “Yeah, I invited them before I became your assistant. Is something wrong?”
I said, “Of course something is wrong. I can’t let them find out that I have taken over Ponyville. Okay, I’m going to head to Sweet Apple Acres, you will act like nothing is different/ When they leave, come get me.” I looked around and said, “Is there a back door?
Twilight said, “No, there is only one door.”
I opened the window and jumped out, then I realized it was a bad idea. The window was a few feet up. I closed my eyes, waiting for me to hit the ground, but it didn’t come. I opened my eyes to see Chrysalis underneath me. She said, “You know there’s an easier way to kill yourself.”
I said, “I forgot the window was a few feet up. I thought Celestia was at the front door.”
She said, as she set me down, “She is on her way here, but not here yet. Where are you heading?”
I said, “I’m heading to Sweet Apple Acres. I think they will be able to detect you, want to join me.”
Chrysalis shrugged and said, “Okay.”
When we got there, I noticed bats flying to a group of trees. As I was watching them, I heard somepony say, “Hey there, Master. What brings you here?”
I turned to see Applejack walking to me. I said, “Hey there, I just came to visit, and to get out of the castle before Celestia gets there. Tell me, what’s with these bat, and why are they on one side?”
Applejack said, “These bat drain apples and leaves rotten husks. Fluttershy wanted to make a sanctuary for them, but I wanted them gone. It was basically majority against. She used her stare while Twilight used a spell. The spell worked, the bats didn’t want the apple, but it had a side effect on Fluttershy, she became a bat pony. It took mirrors, Twilight to reverse the spell, and my biggest apple to turn her back. After that, we decide to put up the sanctuary for them, and that is the whole story.”
I said, as I looked at the bat, “Thanks for you time.”
Applejack said, “You’re welcome. Now I have to get back to work..”
When I could hear Applejack’s hoofsteps, I think that’s what it’s called, Chrysalis said, “What are you thinking?”
I said, without looking at her, “Chrysalis, do you think these are vampire bats?”
Chrysalis said, “I don’t know, they might be, but I don’t think you can something without a brain.”
I turned to her and said. “Everything has a brain, even if they don’t use it. That reminds me, do you know if Sombra’s still alive? He is taken over by dark magic, if I can free him for it, he’ll be back to his old self.”
Chrysalis said, with what looked like a little fear, “I don’t know if he’s still alive. He might have died when the crystal heart was put back. But I will check.” She walked off leaving me to think.
I walked through town until I saw Pinkie Pie heading to Sugarcube Corner. I smiled and said, :Hey Pinkie.”
She turned to me and said, “Hi there.”
I said, “Can I talk to you somewhere private?”
She looked up and said, “Sure, follow me.”
I followed her into the kitchen, and that’s where I said, “Sleep.” Her eyes became glazed and unfocused. I said, “You will be the torturer, you will “interrogate” guards, that we bring in, but you won’t hurt them in any way. Do you understand?”
She said, in a monotone voice, “Yes”
I said, “Awake.” Then I left. I walked back to the old base and found almost everypony there. I said, to them all, “Since I have control of Ponyville, this is no longer our base. Ponyville will be our base. So all you ponies can return home and work.” Then I left.
When I walked out of the forest, I ran into Twilight. She said, “The princesses are gone. Now we can talk about what will be taking place.” I followed her to the castle.
When we got to the throne room, I walked up to Twilight’s chair, and changed it design to fit my personality, whole thing was black wood, red leather on the back, and obsidian four point stars decorating it. It still have Twilight’s star on in, but it looked like it was cut in. I sat down and called in a changeling guard. It walked in and said, “You needed me?”
I said, “Yes tell me when Chrysalis contact you. Oh, I’m getting ahead of myself. You will be my messenger for now on. Chrysalis went to see if Sombra is still alive. I want you to message her, saying that you will be the contacting point.”
The Changeling nodded and ran off, Twilight sat next to me and said, “Are you sure that a good idea? He terrorized the crystal ponies, hurt my brother, and now you want to see if he’s alive, why?”
I said, as I turned to her, “I know he hurt ponies, that why I want to see if he’s alive. To pay for what he has done. I’m going to try to absorb the dark magic out of him.”
Twilight’s eyes widened as I said that. Then she said, “That’s too risky, you can turn evil. Then you would have to be banished, and…”
I closed her mouth and said, “That’s why I have everypony to help me stay in place. I won’t hold on to it, I will send it somewhere else. Let’s say the moon.”
The guard barged in and said, while breathing heavily, “Chrysalis found him. He’s in a cave.”
I stood up and said, “Fetch me Fluttershy and bring her to the train, I need to ask her a few question. Twilight send a message to Celestia, asking how much force would take to send magic to the moon, and if there is a way to transfer dark magic. Tell a pony wants to know, and you didn’t find the answer.”
As I was walking to the train, I thought to myself, would she like it or not. How was Sombra going to react? I was lost in thought, that I didn’t notice Fluttershy walking to me, until I bumped into her. I looked up to see a changeling standing there, and Fluttershy on the ground. I said, “I’m glad to see you here. I need to talk to you. So, I need you to come with me to the crystal empire.”
She said, really quietly, buy hearable, “Ok.”
I smiled and led her onto the train, and into a private cart. When we were in it, and the train started moving, I said, “It’s about you turning into a bat-pony.”
She shrank a little and said, “Okay.”
I took a deep breath and said, “Would you like be become one again? If you want to, I could make it permanent or temporary.”
Fluttershy’s eyes just widened and said, “I thought it was about me almost hurting my friend and ruining some of Applejack’s pickings.”
I said, “I think she forgives you for it. Now, what is your answer?”
She said, “Can I think about it, I have really thought about it?”
I said, as I stretched out on the bench, “Sure, wake me up when we get there.” The last thing I saw was Fluttershy nodding.
I was chained to a wall, and another of me was chained to the ground, but the chains looked like they were getting weaker. He said, “Do you think that little bump on your head will keep me locked away in your head? I will get out and take over Equestria, while you watch me do it, and maybe I will take your controlled one and turn them against you.” He strained against the collar until it snapped. Then he came at me.
I woke up to Fluttershy shaking me awake. I panicked and said, “Sleep.” She slumped right on top of me. A stallion on the train passed the cart and saw it. His expression was between horrified and disgust. I looked down, then levitated Fluttershy to the other bench. Then I walked out the cart and said, to the stallion standing there, “What do you want?
He said, “What were you making that poor mare do?
I said, “I was having a nightmare then I woke up, she was shaking me, and knocked her out. Nothing happened.” I walked in and said, as I shut the door, “Awake.”
She got up and said, “Are you alright, I dozed off, for a few minutes, then I heard you screaming, it woke me up, and I started to shake you trying to wake you up.”
I said, as I wiped the drool and the sweat off, “I’m fine, just had a bad dream. Why don’t you get some sleep. I’ll wake you up, when we get there.”
Fluttershy said, “Sure, um, could I sleep with you? I mean..”
I stopped her, when I levitated of to my side and said, “I know what you mean.” She nodded, then rested her head on my shoulder, closed her eyes, and let out of small sigh as she relax.
On the way there, I kept getting this weird look from mares and stallions, I had no clue what it was, but it didn’t mattered, I gave them a glare, that said it all, it’s not you think and if you tell anypony, I’ll kill you. One walked in a said, “We are almost to the Crystal Empire. So you should get ready to wake up your marefriend.”
I said, without thinking, “Ok, I will.” Then when he left, it dawned on me. I didn’t say anything, but I laughed to myself and said, while gently shaking Fluttershy awake, “Fluttershy, we’re almost there.”
She opened her eyes, looked at me, and said, “What is with that smile?
I said, “A stallion called you my marefriend.”
Fluttershy’s face turned a bit red, then she drew her face back into her hair, and said, “He did?”
I said, “Can you please explain it to me?”
She said, “It’s what a mare is called when a stallion and mare are in love with each other.”
My face got redder, I wasn’t expecting to get a girlfriend with a pony, there’s nothing wrong with her, just wasn’t expecting it. Then the train stop. I jumped off the seat and said, “So, here’s some bits. try to find a place that’s cheap and has two beds. I going to ask somepony for help.” Then I took off.
I was walking around looking for a cave, but couldn’t find one. Then I felt a tap on my shoulder, I jumped, turned around and saw it was Chrysalis. She said, “Glad you can make it. Come, follow me.” She led me to a wall, then walked through. I was amazed, that is why I couldn’t find it. It was hidden with magic. Chrysalis put out a hoof, to stop me from going any farther. She turned to me and said, “Be careful.”
I nodded and said, as I walked farther into the cave, “Sombra, are you in here?”
A voice said, “I depends who is asking.”
I said, after a gulp, “My name is Eric, and I think I can help you.”
A laugh came from inside, and Sombra came walking out. He said, “So, you’re the one that has control over Chrysalis. Either you are not what you seem, or she got weaker.”
I said, “So, are you going to let me try to take the dark magic out of you?”
He said, “No, I kinda like it. Now, since you know my answer, go away.”
I looked into his eyes, and saw they were saying something different. Chrysalis whispered into my ear, “Celestia thinks it’s possible to take dark magic, and send it to the moon, but it will take a lot of effort. It might kill you, if you succeed.” I turned to her, and saw worry in her eyes. I smiled and said, “We won’t know, if we don’t try.” I turned back to Sombra and said, “It might not work, but can you at least let me try. If it doesn’t work, we’ll leave you in peace, but if it does work, come help me take the throne away from Celestia.”
He looked at me and said, “Fine.”
I smiled and tried the spell. Imagine your whole body burning and all the heat going into your body. It hurt worse then me turning into a pony. I wanted to pull out, but I couldn’t. I need to finish it. I felt my life draining, then some memories flash through my mind, my first dream, me apologizing, me giving to the changeling, and the train. I have ponies waiting for me, if they know it or not. I’m not going to die. I stood up and put more force into the magic. The pain grew 5 times, but I didn’t care. I open my eyes to see Sombra struggling on his feet. When it was done, he collapsed and I felt his magic surging through me. It felt great, like I can do whatever I want, and nopony can stop me, no wonder Sombra wanted this. I was about to walk out of the cave, when I was grabbed. I turned around to see Chrysalis holding my back left leg. She said, with her voice full of worry, “Eric, you need release the magic.”
I turned around to her and said, as I forced her into the wall, “Why should I? With this power I can destroy Celestia, Canterlot, or maybe all of Equestria. Then I will be able to build it to what it should be.”
I watched as blood dripped down her legs. She said, right before she passed out, “Just release the magic, and you’ll be able to think clearly.”
I felt anger build up inside of me, why doesn’t anyone think I can do stuff, I have the right to do what I want. Then I build up all the magic and shot it at the moon. When I was done, I collapsed and looked at what I have. The moon had an eighth chopped off. I knew somepony will be coming to see what the light was. Chrysalis was right, I’m able to think clearly. I walked up to Chrysalis and shook her awake. When I heard her groaning I said, “Chrysalis, don’t move. I need you to disguise yourself, lower the spell hiding the entrance, and disguise Sombra. I think somepony will be coming to see what happened.”
She didn’t move a bit, but she disguised herself and Sombra as a random pony. Then I heard a voice say, from outside the cave, “Is anypony in here.”
I peeked out and saw Cadence standing there, with a few guards. I said, as I walked out, “Well, it’s a pleasure to meet you, Princess Cadence. What brings you here?”
Cadence said, “Me and Shining armor saw a strange light coming from here.”
I bowed and said, “Why I was just helping a fellow pony with some magic. Care to come inside, alone?”
Cadence looked at me sternly and said, “I don’t go anywhere without my guards.”
I sighed and said, “I guess you left me no choice.”
Then a cry came from the cave. “Whoever is out there, help me.”
Cadence’s eyes widen and said, “That sound like Twilight.” She glared at me and said, “You let her go.”
I said, “Either you come in alone, without your guards, or Twilight will never see daylight.” I wavered at the end, hopefully she doesn’t notice.
She said, with a sigh, “Fine.” Then she turned to her guards and said, “Wait out here.” Then turned back to me. “Come on, let go into the cave.”
I lead Cadence into the cave, and to Twilight. She was tied up in a chair, looking like I whipped her, which I did a while ago. Twilight raised her head and said, “Cadence, is that really you?”
Cadence ran to her, hugged her,and said, “Of course it’s me, Twilight. Why wouldn’t it? What has he done to you?”
Twilight said, “ He had a changeling disguise as you, then say mean things about me. The changeling hasn’t been around for a few days.” I tried not to laugh at the story that she made.
I said, “Sorry, to break up this... family together. Cadence, the only way to get Twilight is to look into my eyes.”
Cadence stopped hugging Twilight, stood tall, and turned to me. There was a hateful look in her eyes. But after a few minutes, of us staring into each other's eyes. She lowered to one knee, but still looked at me. A little hate had left her eyes. I said, “Quit resisting. You will like to be controlled. You already know that Celestia is stopping Equestria from evolving.”
She shook her head and said, her head drooped closer to the ground, “No, she’s not. She wouldn’t.”
I said, “I can see the thought in the back of your head. Deep down, you know that it’s true.” Then she fell sideways, with her eyes closed. I said, as I sat down, “Open your eyes.” She opened her eyes to show that they were glazed and unfocused. I said, “You will forget everything Twilight told you in this cave. You will tell the guards that I kidnapped Twilight to talk to you in private, but you won’t go into detail. Tomorrow, you will travel with me, fluttershy and a random pony to Ponyville. If the guards or your husband asks where you are going, you will say that you will be taking care of Twilight to get over the trauma of being kidnapped. If any other pony asks, you will say that you are visiting Twilight. When I say awake, you will return to normal, and when I say sleep, you will return to this mindless state. Do you understand?
Cadence said, in a monotone voice, “Yes.”
Twilight said, as she removed the ropes that held her to the chair, “I didn’t know why you wanted me to portray as Twilight kidnapped, but now I do. That was pretty good acting evil, master.”
I said, with a smile, “Thanks, Chrysalis. That almost drained my body, as much as you did.” I turned to Cadence and said, “Awake.”
She stood up, shook herself off and said, “You know you could have asked to talk to me privately, other than kidnapping my sister-in-law. Come Twilight, let head to my castle.” I didn’t hear anything after that. I passed out from all the magic that I have used.
When I woke up, I saw Sombra looking at his body. He said, with a surprised look on his face, “You did it. You actually took the dark magic out of me.”
I said, as I got up, “I want to see you on the train tomorrow morning. I going to help you repay for what you have done.” He nodded and I walked out.
After a few minutes, I arrived in the Crystal Empire. I was walking around, when I bumped into Fluttershy. She said, “There you are, I was worried about you. I saw a big beam of light, and then Cadence leading a group of guards to where the light was. I thought you were hurt, or worse.”
I walked up to her and said, as I rubbed her head, “I’m sorry for making you worry. If I told you what I was doing here. It would have made you more worried. I’m safe, and tired. Could you please lead me to the hotel?’
She nodded and said, “Sure, follow me.” I followed her. When we got to the room, I got a new meaning of cheap. The wallpaper was peeling, it had a smell to it. and I saw a few cockroaches crawling around. Fluttershy said, as soon I shut the door, “Is this alright with you?”
I said, as I plopped on one of the beds, “It’s fine. we are only staying here for one night.”
She said, as she sat down on the other bed, “Why did you want to have two beds? Is it because of what happened on the train?”
I sighed and sat up on the bed. Then I said, “Fluttershy, look, I had what you call a marefriend, and it didn’t work out well. Just being told that ponies will think of you as my marefriend, reminds me of what happened, and I’ve been trying to forget it. So, yeah, it has nothing to do with you, it’s just the memory. I’ll see you in the morning.” I laid down, closed my eyes, and fell asleep.
When I opened my eyes, all saw was black, then Luna popped in and said, What has been going on with your quest?”
I said, “Good, I got Cadence and freed Sombra from the dark magic. I hope you don’t mind that I chipped a piece off the moon.”
Luna, smiled and said, “It’s fine. When are you coming back to Ponyville, I found some info that you will want to know.
I said, “Tomorrow, and what is the information about?”
She said, “It’s about a way to get Canterlot. I got to go, I need to keep my appearance to keep nightmares away.”
I said, right before she left, “Add me dreams to a list of nightmares. I have been getting them regularly.” She nodded, then I woke up with Fluttershy next to me. I shook her awake and said, “Why are on the same bed as me?”
She blushed and said, “You looked cold, plus a pony want the other bed.”
I was about to ask what other pony, then I almost screamed when I saw who it was. Sombra was sleeping on the other bed. How did he find the hotel that I was staying in. Did he follow me? There was so many questions and very little time. I walked up to him shook him awake and said, “How did you find me? Does anypony know that you are here?”
He opened his eyes and said, as he got off the bed, “Relax, I know how to cover my tracks. Speaking of tracks, the train will be here in a few minute. So, lets go.” I sighed and followed him to the train.
We were nearing the train in the train station. We did not see many ponies when we first entered the train, but this was a good thing. Cadence and Chrysalis were disguised as random ponies to conceal their true identities as not to attract too much attention. We walked inside the train and conducted a search for our personal cart.
I looked back at my followers.
“Morning, I hope you two slept fine?” I asked the princess of love who was close behind me.
“We did,” Cadence nodding her head. Her voice giving off a slight monotonous hum. “Are you ready to return to Ponyville?”
“Yes,” I drew my attention away from Cadence. I glanced back at Fluttershy “let’s go, I made arrangements to get us a good passenger cart. We won’t be bothered in there, so I can get Cadence to become mine”
After a short search, we found our designated cart, I commanded the three followers to sit in their seats. I noted to the ponies that I would be back shortly and walked away from our quarters in hopes of finding a lost member. I was lost in thought, thinking about what to use Cadence for. In fact, I was so lost in thought that I didn’t notice the train leaving until I found myself floating through the main entrance to the train.
I shook my head in disbelief as I found myself face to face with Sombra. His horn glowed in a black aura with gray crystals forming around his magic.
He stood there with a blank expression. “I think this will suffice, a pony to keep you on track,” His brow furrowed. “If I wasn’t here, you would’ve missed the train!”
“How about you be my assistant with time? Twilight will be my assistant with the rest.” I grind before breaking free from his magic grip and perfectly landing on all fours. “So if I need to go somewhere, it will be a better lie that I'm her assistant. And you can tell me to make sure I don’t miss anything?”
He stared at me with the same expression as before, blank and stagnic. I watched his eyes observe the ceiling before looking back down at me. His red eyes glaring into mine.
“Fine…” He quickly turned around and trotted down the train’s hall. “Now lets return to your cart!“
I nodded and followed his lead. When we opened the door to our personal quarters, we found the group talking and chatting amongst themselves. As soon we stepped hoof into the room, they stopped to gaze at both me and Sombra. Fluttershy jumped out of her seat and trotted over to my side with concern.
“What took you so long, I thought I would have to ride the train again?”
“Sorry to make you worry. I was about to accidentally walk off, but Sombra levitated me into the train” I explained as I pushed my hoof through her beautiful mane, it smelled of roses and freshly cut grass. She was very beautiful. I couldn’t argue with that. No one could.
I quickly remember Fluttershy’s condition and wrap my hoof around hers, leading her back to her seat. “Sit down, Fluttershy. I don't want you to fall over.”
She gazed at me with an open mouth of confusion. She nodded in understanding shortly after and sat down.
I walked to the center of the room and turned to the group that sat in their seats. “Sleep,” I quietly whispered.
Cadence’s head rested on back of Chrysalis that acted like a cushion while Chrysalis head dangled between her front and hind legs. I raced over to Fluttershy’s side, the mare nestled her head perfectly on my lap.
Sombra walked up close to Fluttershy, an evil grin appeared over his muzzle. “So this is what you can do,”
I nodded my head. “Basically, they're under my control. When they look into my eyes.“
“I looked into your eyes! Why am I not under your control then?”
“It's kinda like magic, you have to will it to make it work.” I looked back at the supposedly sleeping mares. “Cadence, Chrysalis, and Fluttershy! Sit up and open your eyes!”
Fluttershy bolted upright and opened her eyes, scaring Sombra into jumping onto Chrysalis’ lap. I started laughing. At that time, I wish I had a camera. He glared back at me with his evil red eyes before jumping off the insects lap and bashing me with his shoulder. He tackled me. We were both sent flying into the hallway on the train. With Sombra on top of me gripping at my throat.
“It was just... Funny that you... Jump because- of Fluttershy” I said through gasps of unacquired breaths.
After a few minutes of tumbling and turning, he released me and walked back into the booth. Stopping his hooves on the ground angrily. I took in a deep breath and exhaled, thankful to breath fresh oxygen once more. I did the same as Sombra and walked back into the booth- without stopping my hooves like a child of course. I sat down in my seat next to Fluttershy.
“Cadence, your guards are mine, but you will command them. Do you understand?”
“Yes.”
I nodded my head and commanded the group to once again sleep. It was a rough day today, I had the fight with Sombra, I almost missed the train and I had to use a lot of Magic to control every pony around me. We had been on the train ride for a while now and I had begin to wonder if I should waken the group. It had been more than an hour, that was for sure. That is when I decide is a good time then any other to actually wake the mares up.
“Awake.”
Fluttershy was the first one to wake. “Master, how long were we out for.” She asked, rubbing her tired eyes.
“A while.” I said before brushing her light pink mane.
Cadence and Chrysalis were the second ponies to wake up while I was brushing Fluttershy’s mane.
“Did everyone get enough sleep? I don't know if we’ll get sleep there. We might be running around a lot.”
“I didn’t get enough sleep. Shining Armor kept asking questions and kept seeing if I remembered anything from my past with him.” Cadence said as she leaned against the wall.
“I didn’t get much sleep as well. I could hear the yelling from the other room.” Chrysalis added.
“Why don’t you two get some rest one more time then” They nodded, got comfortable, and closed their eyes to get some sleep. I turned to Sombra who was leaning against the door. “Hey Sombra, why don't you sit down. It's going to be a few hours before we get to Ponyville?“ Sombra said nothing and sat down.
While we waited in our personal cart, I felt my eyes grow heavy and tired. But my heavy eyes were soon jolted to life when the door next to us rattled and shook violently. I stood up in my seat as quickly as I could and put my hoof over my heart. I placed both of my hooves on the ground and approached the sliding door with caution. I opened the slid door, I poked my head out from the cart and I saw a strange animal walking down the hall of the train with a newspaper in his left hand and a staff in the other?
It was a strange sight to see. It was not a diamond dog, it didn’t have those fangs like they usually would and its entire body was a different shape. It was also way too small to be even related to one of those huge beast. I had no clue what he was and I knew almost everything that went on in the show. I haven't even seen him in an episode!? I needed to get his attention!
I rose my hoof close to my muzzle and shouted toward the strange creature. “Hello, my name is, Eric, what might yours be!?” I mentally face hoofed at my witless way of introducing myself to an unknown species, but it ultimately worked in the end.
While he was reading the newspaper in his hand, the large ears that adored the top of his head twitched. His head quickly shot up and scanned his surroundings with insecurity. After finding the voice that called to him, he stared at me with raised and squinted eyes. He had this curious look plastered on his face, as though he had never been called before. He turned his head around to look behind him, but no pony was there. He brought his attention back in my vicinity and started to walk towards me. His small tiny dog like feat slapped across the wood surface of the train. He stood in front of me with his hand on his hip and at his full height, I noticed that he was very small, the top of his head only reaching to my neck.
He took in a small breath. “Not tae be rude, but dae ah know ya!?” The small animal asked in a thick yet strange semi-high accent.
I had a strange feeling. “No, but anytime is good to get to know a stranger, to make them into a friend. So where are you heading?” I said as calmly and casually as I could.
Sombra came out and said, “What are you doing, Cadence and Chrysalis might wake up any minute, and they will quickly think that I did something to you.”
I turned to Sombra and said, “Calm down, I’m just outside of the room. All they have to do is look out the door to see me standing here, safe and sound.” Sombra muttered something and went back in. I turned to the stranger and said, “I noticed you haven’t said what your name is yet.”
“Tis hard tae understand fer maist ponies, that’s why lad!” He folded the newspaper and placed it under his arm. “But th’ names Payorach!” He said with a warm smile, holding out his hand for me to shake.
I grabbed his hand and said as I shook it, “Pleasure to meet you. Where ya heading, and shall we continue our discussion inside my personal cart, I have three friends that will get nervous if I’m not there when they wake up.”
He put a hand to his chin. “W-well!?” He thought for a moment. “Ah guess et would be ok if ah spend a wee bit ov’ time with ya!”
I smiled and walked in and said, “Sombra, could you sit with Cadence and Chrysalis. Fluttershy, could you scoot closer to the window.” Sombra groaned, got up, pushed Chrysalis over and plopped down. I sat next to Fluttershy, she set her head on my lap, said, “Come in. everything’s fine.”
He was hesitant about the room our group occupied, I wondered if he was going to reconsider but in the end he nodded his head and sat down. He threw his bag next to his side and sat criss cross. “Right! Uhm… Well, as fur your question, a’m headin tae Canterlot tae catch up wi’ one ov th’ Princesses, askin fer help!”
My mind raced with possibilities, but only thing I could do right now was ask. I said as I pet Fluttershy’s mane, “If it’s okay with ya, does it matter which one and what do ya need help with?”
“Ah little, ah need tae see th’ one called Celestia? And ah need help gettin home!”
I nodded, my mind was screaming with joy, and relief. Fluttershy lifted head and said with her eyes halfway closed, “Oh hello there, going to see Celestia before Eric gets her throne?” I wanted to yell at her, but I couldn’t bring myself to.
Payoraches squinted eyes grew wide. Hr stared at the pair for a long moment before he burst into laughter. “Tis ah little funy thinkin!”
I sighed and said as I pet her on the head and with a little anger in my voice, “Yeah, Fluttershy, you must have been dreaming.” He turned to Payorach and said, “If you don’t mind me asking, where is your home?”
“Not here in Equestria, that’s fur certain lad, it es far away!”
I said, “My home was far away as well, but I got used to where I’m living, After you are done, why don’t you visit me in Ponyville. I can show you around. and you can meet another Princess. You could say that we are friends.”
Chrysalis woke up and jumped. She was about to fire her horn, but I glared at her out of the corner of eye. She said as she calmed down. “Eric, I didn’t know you were going to have company.” She held out her hoof and said, “My name is Chrysalis.”
Payorach scepticaly took the hoof and shook it up and down. He turned his attention towards me. “Ya have ah lot of protective ponies around ya lad?”
“Chrysalis is a bit jumpy, since I almost died twice.” Far off I heard a pony working on the train said, that the train will be arriving in Canterlot shortly. I said, “I guess your stop is next. It was nice to meet ya.”
He looked out th’ window and agreed nodding his. “Ah guess so lad!” He smiled, jumping off his seat and walking towards the door. “See ya all later!” He waved.
I waved back and said, once he was gone, “Fluttershy, you need to keep what I’m doing a secret. If he knew that it was real, he could have told Celestia our plan and it would be ruined, Chrysalis, what was that?
Chrysalis said as she lowered her head, “I thought he was going to hurt you.”
I sighed and said, “Come on, Ponyville is after this stop.”
When we got to ponyville, Luna ran up and said as she caught her breath, “Glad you could make it. So how was your trip?”
I said as I guided her to the castle, “It was fine, everything went according to plan, and I kinda brought two ponies here. Let’s get back to the castle to discuss some things that we need to talk about.”
As we were leaving, someone said, “Hello Luna, I thought you would be in Canterlot.”
Luna looked behind me and then glared at me. She walked to the castle, and good thing no pony got in her way, I didn’t want to see Luna hurt anypony. I turned around and saw Cadence walking with Sombra. Cadence said as she saw Luna storming off, “What’s wrong with Luna. Was it something I said?”
I walked up to them and said, “No, it must worst time on something, or she’s just having a bad day. I’ll go talk to her. Why don’t you two make friends.” When I caught up to her in the castle, I said, “Luna, what’s wrong?”
She turned around and said, “Why did you take my cousin? For what part does she have for your plan?”
I said, “It was worst timing. When she was about to send guards in after us, I had to do something. She’s just going to be here. Now, what did you need to talk to me about?”
Luna said as she continued walking, “Twilight just got a message from Sunset Shimmer that she is coming home, and the portal is here.”
I said after thinking about it, “Why is she coming here?”
Luna said as she passed a few guards, “She wants to apologize for running off. I thought that you can use her, and you really need to fix Pinkie Pie, she’s been asking for guards, I think you should make her into a baker.”
I nodded, making her into an executioner doesn’t really fit in her personality. I said as I walked into the Throne Room, “I do that, but I need to think about some stuff, why don’t you talk to Cadence and Sombra.”
I saw Twilight in her seat reading a book and a vibrating book. Twilight said when she saw me, “Eric, I heard Luna yelling, what happened? Did you get Sombra?”
I sigh and went to her chair, she moved into Spike’s as I sat in hers. I said, “yeah, I did, but that’s not the reason why Luna was yelling. The reason why is that I brought Cadence here. “
Twilight’s looked shocked then worried and sad. She said, “Tell me what happened.” I took a deep breath and told her the story. She didn’t say a thing and when I was done, She said, “That’s a lot of things that happen in two days.”
I nodded and said, “Do you know when Sunset will be here and could you bring Pinkie Pie here?
Twilight levitated the book to her and wrote something down and said after she was done. “I’ll go get Pinkie.”
She ran out the door, then I heard a knock. I straightened up and said, “Come in.” The door open and a changeling poked its head in. I said as I smiled, “Come in and tell me what you want to say.”
The changeling came in and said as it moved nervously, “Um, Celestia is on her way.”
My eyes widened and I said as I ran out of the throne room, “Thanks for the message.” As I was running, I ran into Twilight and Pinkie. Twilight was about to say something, but I said, “Sleep.” Twilight fell onto her back and Pinkie stayed in her position. I said as fast and clear, “Pinkie Pie, you will no longer be the executioner, and now you are the baker. Awake.”
Pinkie Pie started bouncing, and said, “Hello Eric, what do you want me to bake?”
I said as I got up, “Maybe later, Twilight, do you know why Celestia would come here?”
Twilight said after a few minutes, “Either cause I haven’t replied to her letters or came to see if Sunset’s here.”
I said as I headed for the door, “I’m going to be hanging out around town, see you at lunch.” I walked out and headed to Vinyl’s house.
I knocked on the door and Vinyl answered it. She said when she saw me, “Eric, came to see me or listen to my music.”
I smiled and said, “Both, but I wanted to visit ya. Can I come in?” She nodded and moved out of my way. I said as I passed her, “Thanks.”
I sat on the couch and sighed. She came into the front room with her glasses and her headphone, plugged her headphone into her DJ equipment said as she turned the equipment on, “Got any request for.”
I looked at her and said, “No, just play what you want. I just want to hear ya play.” She smiled and placed on her headphone, then started playing some music. I leaned my head back and closed my eyes, listening to the music. I couldn’t describe it, it was one of those songs that word could never touch it. It sounded like the past few days being mixed up over and over till you couldn’t remember what event came after what. After it was done. I opened my eyes and looked at the clock, it was a quarter to noon. I said as I got up, “That was great, hope to hang out more when I have control and I prefer you without your glasses.”
I opened the door and was about to shut it until Vynil said, “Eric, wait.” I poke my head. “Is that true?”
I smiled and said, “It’s true, or I would have to deal with Applejack attacking me.” She smiled and levitated her glasses onto my head. I looked in the mirror. Then I placed in my pocket and walked out the door.
It was five minutes till noon. I was walking, I saw Twilight with Celestia. She said when she saw me, “Eric, this is Celestia. She wanted to meet you.”
I smiled and said as I gave her a small bow, “It’s a pleasure to meet you, Princess Celestia.
Celestia said as she smiled warmly, “Same here, Twilight told me about you in her letters that she send me occasionally.”
I said as I sat down, “Celestia, would you care to have lunch with us?”
Celestia said as she shook her head, “No, I need to be getting back to Canterlot. I have a thing I need to do. It was nice meeting you.”
After she left, Twilight said as she levitated the glasses out of my pocket, “Why do you have Vinyl’s glasses?”
I said as I pushed them back in, “Vinyl gave them to me before I got here. Let’s order lunch and see if Sunset messaged ya.”
She nodded and we headed to the castle. When we got into the throne room, the book was vibrating off the table. Twilight ran to it and looked in it, then her she grinned and started jumping around the table, saying yes over and over.
I walked over to her and said as I stopped her in mid-air, “What did she say, is it good?”
After she calmed down, she said, “Shimmer will be here tomorrow after school and she’ll be staying for two nights.” I nodded. That was great news, she won’t be missed for two days.
I said as I was leaving the throne room, “I’m going to the library, come get me if anything comes up.” As I walked through the halls to the library, changelings bowed as I passed them. I opened the door and sat down, then I summoned books that have something about ruling a kingdom.
After what felt like a few minutes, I heard a knock on the door. I turned and said, “What is it?”
Fluttershy came in and said, “Um, am I interrupting something?”
I said as I got up, “No, you’re not. What do ya need, Fluttershy.”
She came in and said as she kneeled in front of me, “You should eat, its past dinner. None of the guards didn’t want to bother you in telling you to eat.”
I looked at the clock and saw he’s been in the library for a few hours. He turned to Fluttershy and said as he placed a hoof on Fluttershy’s head, “Thanks for telling me. If you didn’t tell me that I almost missed dinner, I would’ve gone hungry. Thanks.”
She looked up and smiled, then she said, “Cadence and Luna wish for you to join them as they walk into the Everfree forest.”
I said as I shut the book, “Ok, I’ll catch up with them after I get something to eat.” I grabbed a sandwich as I pass the kitchen and ate it as I headed to the forest. When I saw them standing there. I walked up to them and said, “Hi there. So why did you want me to come with you into the Everfree forest?”
Luna turned to me and said, “Hello Eric, We want to talk to you in private.”
I nodded, and said, “I get it, in this time, we have to be careful. Let’s go.” We walked in and after a while I said, “What do you want to talk about?”
Luna said when we were far from Ponyville, “It’s about Sunset Shimmer and Celestia.”
Luna looked at Cadence and said, “Celestia won’t be thinking straight. So you can get her easily, but don't try anything dumb, she'll use her magic.“
Then an I had an idea. I said as I smiled, “it's there a magic inhibitor ring that is strong enough to stop Celestia’s magic.”
Luna looked surprised and said, “there is, but she'll see it if Sunset tries to put it on her horn. “
I said as I looked around, “We could have a guard put it on from the back. Could you put a barrier up for a 10 mile radius and make our that no one can teleport in or out.”
Luna nodded and a dark blue dome appeared, then she laid down and said, “it's done. Why did you want it done?”
I said as I listened for any steps, “I had a feeling that we were being watched. I know the barrier took a toll on ya, but can you slowly shrink it and make it that everything, but ponies, able to pass through it.”
Luna looked at me and opened her mouth to say something, but closed it and nodded. Her horn glowed once more. After a few minutes, she said as she looked up at me, “I think you are right, there is a pony banging on the barrier. I don’t think I will be able to hold it any longer.”
I got the message and said, “Do you know which way.”
She said as she lowered her head in exhaustion, “Back the way to Ponyville.” I nodded and took off running.
After a few minutes, I saw an earth pony in armor bucking the barrier. I walked up to the pony and said, “Hello, may I ask what you are doing here?”
He turned around and said as he tried to back up, “I heard your plan. I’m going to tell that you, Luna, and Cadence are going to overthrow Celestia.”
I said as I sat down, “Maybe you heard wrong. Do you really think that we would be able to overthrow Celestia with just the three of us?
He stopped for a moment and said, “No, I guess not, but I still have to tell Celestia.” When he bucked the barrier, a small crack appeared. As he kept bucking the barrier, more and more cracks appeared, until it could hold. The barrier shattered and he said as I levitated a rock above him, “I hate to cut this conversation short, but I need to get to Celestia.”
As he turned around. I brought the rock down on his head. There was a sickening crack from the contact of the rock and his head. I didn’t care, All I cared about was that he wouldn’t be able to Celestia. I return to the others while dragging the guard by the back left hoof. When I got to the others, Cadence was sitting next to Luna, who was laying there not moving. When Cadence saw me she said, “Eric, thank Celestia you here, I’m afraid our plan might be found out. The burden of maintaining a barrier that big has left Luna unconscious and not able to use magic for a day or two.”
I nodded and said, “Come on, let’s get back to the castle. Do you think you can carry Luna?” She nodded and levitated Luna on her back. Then he headed back to the castle.
When we got to the castle, Spike was at the door. He said when he saw me, “Welcome back Eric.”
I smiled and said, “Do you know where Twilight is? I need to ask her a question.”
He said after a few minutes, “I think she’s in the library.”
I said as I made my way to the library, “Thanks. Cadence could you take Luna to a guest room.” I walked into the library to see Twilight surrounded by books. I walked up to her and said, “Twilight, do you know where I can keep this guard?”
She said as she levitated the guard down a hall, “I’ll keep him in my testing area.”
I nodded and headed to my bedroom. When I got in, I shut the door and got in bed. It didn’t take me long to fall asleep, but I wish it did. I was back in the void, the head appeared from out of the darkness and said, “What are you doing with your time? I wanted you to cause chaos, and all you have been doing is making it easier to live, and giving villains a second chance. If you don’t hurry this up, then I will kill everypony that you have control of, that includes indirectly as well.”
I bolted upright in bed. I looked around to see if he was around. I sighed when I didn’t see him. Then a knock made me jump. I got out of bed and went to the door. Rainbow Dash was standing at my door. I sighed with relief and annoyance for me forgetting. I forgot Rainbow Dash was my personal guard. I said as I opened the door more, “What do you need, Rainbow?”
Rainbow saluted and said, “Sir, Twilight says that Sunset has come early and is holding her in the library, waiting for you to get there.”
I nodded and said as I got out of the room, “Ok, thanks, Rainbow.” When I got there, Sunset and Twilight was sitting at a table. I walked in and said, “Sorry I’m late.”
Twilight looked at me and said, “It’s fine, we had to catch up anyway. I need you here, cause Sunset’s nervous of Celestia.”
Sunset nodded and said, “Yeah, I heard that you could help me with that.”
I nodded and said as I sat across from Sunset, “Yeah, all you have to do is look into my eyes.” She looked at me with confusion, then after a few minutes, she finally decided to look into my eyes. Her eyes started to slowly become glazed and unfocused. when they were done, she laid her head on the table. I turned to Twilight and said, “That was subtle.” She just shrugged. I turn back to Sunset and said, “When I say awake, you will wake up as yourself again, and when I say sleep you will fall into this deep trance again. You won’t find it weird about a ring sliding on Celestia’s horn and you won’t be nervous about seeing Celestia. Do you understand?”
She mumbled in like a sleepy voice, “Yes, I understand.”
I turned back to Twilight, she looked confused as well, then I said as I looked at Sunset, “Awake.”
After a few days of planning, we were ready. I woke up to see the sun was just barely rising. I got and went to the door. When I opened the door, Twilight was standing there. She jumped and said, “I was about to come get you. Everyone is waiting for you in the throne room.”
I nodded and said as I passed Twilight, “Thanks, Twilight.” I as I was walking to the door, I heard hissing, screaming, and shouting, but once I opened the door, it went quiet. It sounded like no one was breathing. I walked into the room and sat down in Twilight’s chair, Discord took Fluttershy’s, Chrysalis took Rainbow Dash’s, Sunset took Rarity’s, Luna took Applejack’s, Cadence took Pinkie Pie’s and Twilight took Spike’s. I said as I looked at Discord, “What is Discord doing here? If I recall, he wasn’t part of the plan, and that includes Cadence.”
Luna leaned on the table and said, “I agree with Eric, Discord will ruin the plan, even before it is even made.” Almost everyone agreed.
Discord got up, snapped his claws, and he was in his general outfit. He said as he paced back and forth, “I know all of you think I ruin everything, but I have changed.”
I flipped in the chair, my hind legs dangling off the arm rest. I said as I laughed, “Sure you have, you made me drop Chrysalis.”
Her eyes widen and she said, “Wait, what. When did this happen.”
I waved her off, and said, “It doesn’t matter. Do you all get my point?” Everyone nodded.
Discord sighed and folded his arms. He said as he sat down, “Fine, I messed up once or twice, but that doesn’t mean that I will ruin the plan.”
Rainbow came in and said, “Do you want me to throw him out?”
I sat in the chair and said, “Rainbow, were you waiting outside the door and listening?”
Rainbow said as she came up to the table, “Yes. Now do you all want me to throw him out?”
Everyone murmured and nodded in agreement. Discord said, “I can throw myself out.” He snapped his claw and disappeared.
I said as I turned to Twilight, “Could you grabbed the train schedule, a map of the Canterlot and a pointer.” She nodded and ran out of the room. I turned to the others and said, “Cadence, do you mind stepping out for a moment?”
Cadence slammed a hoof on the table and said, “I’m here because I want in.”
My mouth open and I looked at Luna. She shrugged her shoulder, saying you can’t change her mind about this. I sighed and said, “What do you want to help with?”
Cadence looked at me and said, “What, you aren’t going argue, telling me to stay?
I said as I watched Twilight walk in, “I won’t try to force you to stay here. I will ask you again, What do you want to help with. Thank you, Twilight, could you bring them over here?” Twilight nodded and brought them over to me.
Cadence sat down and said, “I would like to help with medical.”
I nodded and said as I opened the map, and train schedule, “Chrysalis, tell your changelings to choose a pony and follow them to find out everything about them, then to report to the train. and repeat the plan to all of them.” Chrysalis nodded and I said as I pointed to the to the map, “The changelings are to split into groups, using the forms of their disguises, and take the train at different times.” I pointed at places on the map. “I want a group in one of these places. When the sun hits the ground, the changelings will strip their disguises and take down all the ponies, but don’t kill them and if they get hurt help Cadence with medical. Tell me when you are done.”
After a few minutes, Chrysalis said, “They know now.”
I nodded and said, “Luna, you will go home and watch Celestia as she meets Sunset and if it goes wrong, you will do the task we talked about. Chrysalis, you will pose as the guard, Luna will fill you in. Sunset, you will act normal as you meet Celestia. Is that clear?” Everyone nodded, I said, “Rainbow, could you bring Vinyl and Octavia here.” Rainbow saluted and walked out the door. Everyone got up and worked on their part of the plan. I placed my hooves on the table and closed my eyes.
A few minutes later, I heard a knock and the door open. I opened one eye and saw Vinyl and Octavia walking in with Rainbow. She said as she stopped at the table, “Sir, I have brought them to you.”
I nodded and said, “Thank you, Rainbow. Vinyl, Octavia, please sit down.” They sat down and I continued, “Do you remember when I said that I want to hire you. Well, tomorrow I’m going to hire you, but before you leave, need to do something. Rainbow, bring the elements, Luna, derpy, and Zecora, and get me a piece of paper and a writing utensil.” Rainbow saluted once again and left to find the others.
Vinyl said as she shrugged, “That’s great. Why do you want them all here.”
I said, “I will tell everyone when the rest come.”
I woke up the next day without memory of what happened after I sent Rainbow to collect the others and some stuff. I got out of bed and walked to the throne room. Everyone was there, and they had a look on their face that said they don’t remember anything as well, except for Chrysalis. She pocketed a few books into a bag and gave to one of the changelings. I said as I walked in, “What time is it and does anyone know what happened yesterday?”
Everyone shook their heads, but Chrysalis said, “I do, but I was told not to, even if I am demanded to tell, I will not tell anyone. Oh, it’s noon, we should get going.”
I nodded and said, “Okay, come on everyone, let’s get going.” We walked to the station, there were about half a dozen groups of duplicates around town. We got in and headed to Canterlot. I said as I looked out the window, “Luna, Chrysalis, I will be joining you into the castle, but I won’t take abrupt actions, like what I did with Ponyville. Celestia will be strong, even without her magic, so I need a whole army to take her down.”
My eyes slowly drifted close and the next thing I knew I was being shaken awake. I lifted my head a little and opened my eyes to see a spear almost touching my nose. I screamed and fell off. Then I heard a familiar voice come right behind me, “That is the way to wake up a guest. Eric, are you alright?”
I turned to the voice to see that it was Celestia. I scrambled to my hooves and said as I bowed, “Princess Celestia, I wished to see the inside of the castle and to watch the meeting with you and Sunset.”
Celestia said as she headed down the hall, “You don’t have to show me that much respect if you don’t show it to Twilight. You are welcome to join us. Come you must be hungry after the trip. Luna said that you all woke up at noon, so let’s have some lunch.” She led us to the dining hall and my jaw dropped on the floor. The table was filled with food from one end to another. I ran to a chair and sat down, then I started eating. I came up for air to tell her thanks for the food. After that, Celestia took me on a tour of the castle and the gardens. After she was done giving me a tour, she looked at the and sun and said, “I need to be going, the meeting with Sunset Shimmer will be happening in a few minutes.” I looked at the sun. It was about an hour from the land and the invasion 2.0. I nodded and followed her into the throne room I walked in to see Luna right next to Celestia and a guard looking at me, then winked at me.
I sat down at the bottom of Luna’s throne, then a knock came at the door, a guard poked his head in and said, “Your highnesses, Sunset Shimmer in outside the door. Are you ready?”
Celestia said as she straightened her back, “Send her in.” The guard nodded and opened the door wider. Sunset was standing there, looking around. She walked in and bowed. Celestia got up and went over to Sunset. When she was towering over Sunset, she looked down at her and did the one thing Sunset was probably not thinking of. She wrapped Sunset in a hug, including her wings. Celestia said as I watched the guard levitate the ring towards Celestia, “I’m so sorry. I kept wishing that you would come back, but the more I waited, the more I thought that you weren’t going to come.”
Sunset had a surprised look on her face, then she closed her eyes and said, “It was actually my fault. I should have come earlier, but I was afraid of what you might say.”
I was practically biting on my hoof to not scream in anticipation. The ring was getting closer to her horn. Once it was placed on her horn. Screams filled the air. Celestia cut the hug short and said as a guard came bursting into the throne room, “What is going on out there?”
The guard collapsed on the ground and said, “It’s the Changelings, they are attacking again.” The rest of the guard ran up to the one that collapsed and started asking questions.
Celestia, Luna, Sunset, and I ran outside. There were shadows dancing along the walls. Celestia looked confused and said, “That’s odd, why can’t I use magic.” Then her eyes widened like it finally dawned on her. She rubbed her horn, from the tip to the bottom. When she reached the ring, she started shaking really bad, muttering over and over, “No, this can’t be happening.” Then she ran in.
After a few minutes after Celestia ran back into the castle, Chrysalis came out and said, “The guards won’t be a problem anymore.” I nodded and said, “Let’s go find Celestia and force her into the throne room.”
Everyone nodded and we split up, I check the north part, Luna checks the south, Sunset checks the east and Chrysalis checks the west. I checked the rooms, ran into some maids and guard, but the guards encased in green gunk, but no sign of Celestia. After I was done searching, I walked to the front of the castle and sat down in front of the door, then I heard yelling. I looked up to see Celestia sailing towards me. I jumped out of the way as Celestia smacked into the door. When she hit it, something cracked and her breath left her, then she slumped on the ground. I looked up to see Luna landing. She looked at me and said, “She was trying to escape, to get Twilight or Cadence to take off the ring.”
I walked over to her and said as levitated her head, “How long will she be out of it?”
Luna shrugged and said, “It could be a half hour to an hour. Judging by how she hit the door.”
I nodded and levitated her onto my back. I said as I opened the door, “Hm, she’s pretty light for being taller than me and having more mass.” I walked up to the throne and placed Celestia in Luna’s seat. Then I sat down in Celestia’s just as Chrysalis and Sunset arrived. I said as I levitated the banners down, “Chrysalis, have some of the changelings bring the banners and guard uniforms here and have one come here and give me the damage report.”
Chrysalis nodded and left. A changeling came in and said, “32 were injured, all were minor scrapes and bruises. no casualties. We handled each one in care, even the elderly, we didn’t scare them badly.”
I nodded and said as looked at Celestia, “Good you may go now and start taking the guards to the dungeon.” Celestia had her head hanging to the left and her mouth was slightly opened. I rolled my eyes and closed her mouth. Then I heard the buzzing of changeling wings. I turned to the noise to see a group of changeling carrying a box. They set the box down and opened it up. The banners were dark red with an outline of black, and my cutie mark. I said as I hung them up, “Call for the rest of them and tell them to come here and grab a uniform.” The uniform was red with a black outline. When it was happening, I saw Celestia stirring. I turned to her and said, “Celestia, are you alright?”
She looked at the changeling in uniforms, the banners, and said as she turned to me, “what is the meaning of this. Twilight trusted you as her friend and now you’re trying to overthrow her teacher. What about Ponyville, they trust you as well.”
I nodded and was about to say something, but Sombra came into the doors and said as he looked around, “Wow, so this is Celestia’s and Luna’s Castle. I thought it would be like the Crystal Empire’s.”
I said as I watched Celestia for any action, “Sombra’ s fine now, I got rid of the dark magic inside of him. I reformed his and Chrysalis as well. Chrysalis has a home in Ponyville now. You decided to reform Discord, but you didn’t try with Sombra and Chrysalis. You are selfish and cruel. I’m going to replace you and resume the clock that you have stopped. Guards take Celestia to the dungeon.” A group of changelings grabbed Celestia and dragged her away. I said as I got off the throne, “I suggest we get some good night sleep. tomorrow we’ll fix up Canterlot and started heading to the Crystal Empire.”
I walked to Celestia’s room and laid down. Then I heard the creaking on the bed. I opened my eyes to see Fluttershy curling on the bottom of the bed. I smiled and laughed softly, then I went back to sleep.
A few hours later, a loud crash jolted me from my sleep. A group of black wearing ponies stood there with Discord behind them. He folded his arms and said, “He doesn’t like to be betrayed and neither do I. You should have let me be apart of the plan.”
The ponies came up to me and grabbed me. I said as I was dragged past Discord, “I will get you back for this and tell him that he’s not safe from me as well.”
I was dragged out down the hallway and into the throne room. Celestia was standing there. She said as she looked at me, "I guess that you made more than one enemy. Take him to the dungeon
