A cold breeze fluttered over Angela’s face as she stood before three enormous creatures. She looked at them with wide eyes, she would never have imagined this moment as it was now. The three creatures looked at her with amusement, disbelief in her eyes. She blinked for a moment, not sure whether to walk away or stay still. One of the creatures walked closer towards her. Though trembling with fear, Angela couldn’t find herself backing away. She stood as still as she could, the creature quickly looming over her. A dark shadow loomed over her, covering her in black. The creature grinned widely and tilted it’s head up a bit, taking in Angela’s confused and disbelieved face.

“Hello, Angela”

Angela looked at the creature. It’s eyes dark with amusement and, of course, truly evil. Angela gulped for a moment and looked away from the creature in front of her. Looking at the other two instead. She blinked with disbelief again, her body still stiff from fear. The eyes of the other two showed as much amusement as the larger creature right in front of her. Her mind clouded as she said the only thing that she could think of.

“Why are you here?”

The creature in front of her laughed with amusement. It’s echo flowing through the girls mind. Not sure what to do, she looked back up at the creature. The shadow was still looming over her, clothing her in utter darkness. The creature grinned widely, sharp tooth shining in the dim light of the half moon. Another laugh echoed through the dark forest, making the girl tremble even more.

“Why, you ask? Because we can”

Angela looked at the other creature. It wasn’t as dark as the other in front of her, but it was just as scary, maybe even more. The three creatures laughed simultaneously, making a looming echo surround them. The girl breathed harshly, her mind clouded with fear and her body trembling.

“Come on, Discord. Don’t tease the girl” The creature in front said, looking at the other two. Angela swallowed a lump in her throat and tried closing her eyes tightly, but to no avail. The looming creature had her eyes locked onto its own.

“Sheesh, sorry Nightmare Moon, but it’s just too fun” The other creature, known as Discord, said mockingly, obvious not as nearly interested in the human girl as the creature in front. The girl gulped at their names. Nightmare Moon and Discord? It was just too much. This wasn’t happening. This couldn’t be happening!
Full of anger, Angela moved away from the villains. She stumbled backwards and fell flat on her rump with a thud. Looking back at the three creatures, she grimaced, they were too strong. She could never defeat them. She shook her head violently.

“No, no, no, no, no!”

She stood back up and ran away. The creatures behind looked at each other for a moment, before grinning widely and chasing after the girl.
Leaves twirled up in the air as the girl ran over them. Her feet hurting from the scars they had received from running on bare feet. Before she had appeared in this sudden forest, she had laid in her bed at home, being hugged warmly by her soft blankets. When she had opened her eyes, she was here. And in front of her, were the three main villains of her favorite show. She had screamed, but surely stood tall when she had ‘realized’ it was all a dream When she found out it wasn’t however, she couldn’t move anymore.

“Oh Anna~”

Oh, how she wished it had been a dream all along…

Running harder, Angela tripped on a tree branch, twisting her ankle in the progress. She was even more hurt now and she was even more sure this wasn’t a normal dream anymore.

This was a nightmare.

Her feet was pounding and it hurt too much to stand on. But she had to run. She crawled back up, stumbling over her own feet, and started running. Her feet started to hurt even more, a wound present too, bleeding a lot. She didn’t know anything else to do than to run. To run as fast as she could.

Unfortunately, she couldn’t run very fast.

“Oh, Anna. Why are you running away?” The creature Discord teased. Nightmare Moon shushed him with a wave of her hoof.

“Please Anna, stay here and let us explain why we’re here”

Angela turned around, her face stained with tears. Her hair was messy and dirty. She had scratches all over her body from the leaves and twigs she had encountered on the way. Nightmare Moon chuckled evilly. Her eyes were full of amusement and darkness. Angela gulped. She stayed still, as still as she could, and did not let her guard down for even a second.

“Angela, we can help you” Nightmare Moon said, a hint of pity in her voice. The other creatures behind her snickered at this. Nightmare Moon shushed them again. “Please, you have to trust us”

Angela stayed still, thinking it over. What could it hurt just to hear what they had to say, right? She nodded slightly, her whole body still trembling from fear, tiredness and pain.
The creature grinned and looked back, turning to her two companions. She motioned them to come closer with a slight wave of her hoof. The other two nodded and obeyed their self-proclaimed leader.

“First, let’s get rid of that look…”

A bright light shielded the girls vision, making her close her eyes. With a gasp, she opened them again. She took in her surroundings. A beautiful meadow with no sight of any life near. She looked at herself after, the wounds and cuts were gone, her hair was combed and clean, and she didn’t feel any pain at all.
Sighing, she lay back down on her back, thinking it was all a dream in a dream. That the creatures were gone and that she could rest now.

“Ehehehi…”

Wrong…

Angela jerked back up, standing straight before the three evil doers. They were grinning madly at the girl. Each of them with a cheshire grin plastered on their face. Nightmare Moon stepped forward first again. Her teeth were shining in the dim moonlight as she stepped forward, her eyes focused on the girl in front of her.

“Angela…”

The girl gulped. The mare said her name like it was a goddess, maybe even with respect. She didn’t know. She just waited for the night mare to continue.

“We have come here to give you an offer” The mare continued. The other two creatures behind her grinned and nodded as Nightmare Moon walked forward a bit more. “We want you to come with us” She said, her eyes determined and serious.

“Where?”

Angela’s voice came out shaky and obviously scared. It made the two creatures at the back grin even wider, if that was possible that is.

“To Equestria, of course”

Angela looked at the mare in disbelief. This wasn’t possible, was it?

“How?”

“The same way we came here” The mare leaned closer to the girl, her mouth at her ear. “Through dreams”

Angela blinked. Dreams? How was that possible? She looked back at the black mare as she leaned back again. A wide grin was still plastered on her horse-like face.

“Why?”

The three creatures grinned widely again, as if they had just won the jackpot. Nightmare Moon laughed evilly. “Because you're special, of course” Angela thought it all over again. They wanted to take her to the very place she has been wanting to go to for so long. She doubted for a while, considering their offer. But then realization hit her. They were still villains. She couldn’t trust them.

“What’s in it for you?”

Nightmare Moon was taken aback by this for a moment, but grinned widely nonetheless.

“Fun”

Angela cocked an eyebrow, not sure how to take this in. Discord walked up to them and clicked his fingers. A huge blue portal opened, the blue faded away after a while and instead came the soothing meadows of Equestria. Angela was breathless by this. She saw the apple orchards, Ponyville, the main six, even the princesses. This was too much, too much.

“I-I don’t know…”

“Come on, it’ll be fun”

“Please Angela, at least think about it for a while”

Nightmare Moon looked at the human girl with pleading eyes. Angela did not waste time as she answered swiftly. “Alright, I’ll consider it” The creatures smiled brightly, especially the mare of the moon.

“You have 24 hours. After that, we want to hear your decision”

A bright light shielded Angela’s eyes for a moment again. A strong gust of wind blew her over and, when the light faded, she opened her eyes to see her bedroom again. She lay underneath her covers, tight and warm, in her dark room, safely. Sighing, she lay back down, but she couldn’t fall asleep. What if it wasn’t a dream? What if it was really real, if it was all true? What would she do? She had to make a decision.

One that will change her life.

I woke up to the sound of birds chirping loudly. Tilting my head up slightly, I saw that my window was still opened. Groaning, I got up from the bed and walked towards the window, though the moment my left foot hits the ground, pain shoots through my whole body, making me fall back on the bed. Clutching my foot I breathed heavily, flashbacks of my dream shooting through me in a rapid speed. It hadn’t happened really, had it?
I looked around, searching for something to avoid putting pressure on my foot. I noticed a stick at my closet door, but I couldn’t reach it. Groaning I crawled up to the end of the bed. It creaked at every move I made, it had always been quite unstable. At the end, I reached my arm out as far as I could to reach the stick, grasping it firmly and putting it next to me on the ground. I stood up and held my left foot up in the air, being sure not to put any pressure on it. Walking towards my window, I noticed a dark figure outside. When I took another look at it, it was gone. I blinked and shrugged it off, closing the window in the progress, deciding to go downstairs to the kitchen.

Walking downstairs wasn’t easy with that stick…

Stumbling down I walked to the kitchen. Today, as for any other day of my life, there is no one else home. It was summer vacation and my parents had left for another day at the beach, without me. It felt as if they didn’t even know I existed. They never talked to me, only giving me some food and something to drink occasionally, but nothing interacting. If I asked something, they wouldn’t even look at me or give a reaction at all. I was used to it though, I don’t mind it.

Which is why I highly consider the mare in the moon’s offer.

Getting something to eat was quite easy. Putting the stick down for a moment, I had some breakfast. I still had until sundown to decide. Taking a sip from a glass of milk, I thought about it. Maybe it had been all a dream? That I’ve just been imagining the pain in my foot? I shook my head, that’s not possible, I still feel my ankle throbbing like crazy. Sighing, I stand up from my seat and walk back to my room. Again those stairs…

Damn it…

Finally upstairs I sat back on my bed. What will happen if I accept their offer? What will happen if I refuse it? I don’t know… I looked around my room again, nothing really impressing or special. Only the everyday needs actually. I never paid much attention to how I looked, it didn’t matter to me. No one acknowledged my existence, so why should I bother?

After a while my foot started to feel better. I looked outside the window for a moment, noticing that same black figure from before. It was there longer now. I didn’t blink one time until I saw what it was. The form it had was from Queen Chrysalis. My eyes widened as I realized this and I immediately opened my window. At that moment, the figure left my sight and it disappeared again.
Sighing I sat back on my bed. I hated my life, so why wouldn’t I just accept their offer? Probably because they were evil. I didn’t know exactly why they would offer me this chance, but I do know that I want it, a lot.

My life had been one big lie. My family saw me as the ‘black sheep’ and they would do everything to erase me from this world. I don’t have any friends, never had. Since my birth everyone already hated me. I was an accident, one they could not afford. Because of me, my parents hadn’t been able to go on their trip around the world. They hadn’t been able to live their life like they wanted. All because of me. My father wasn’t really my real father either. My mother had been raped by another man. Everyone had helped her to come over it and eventually the rapist had been caught. Still though, I was a mistake, but they couldn’t erase me. I wasn’t wanted.

I was the child of a rapist.

Because of this, I wanted to leave my world, leave from this horrible life and start a new one. A fresh start, all by myself. This was why I truly consider the offer I was given, but I know I can’t trust them. I had to make a decision though, it was already getting time for bed.
The day had gone by quickly, my parents came home in the afternoon and gave me something to eat. After that they would just leave me alone. I didn’t mind being alone, but it was getting boring sometimes. At those times I would leave through my window, because my parents don’t allow me to go outside on my own. I would walk outside for a while before heading back.

Today, I hadn’t left home. I stayed here to think about the offer. Maybe it had been just a normal dream and I wouldn’t meet them ever again. But everything felt so real. I had to make a decision, even if it wasn’t real, just to be sure.

I sighed and laid back in my bed. I had made a decision. Now I only needed to meet them again to tell them what I wanted. This was the biggest decision I had ever made. If I chose wrong, I would regret it the rest of my life, I knew that. I had to choose for the right thing to do. I had to do the right thing.

But that would mean I wouldn’t be able to leave my miserable life.

My eyes fluttered close and my mind started to drift away. The blankets hugged my cold body and heated it up. My breathing became calm and I fell asleep.
I woke up from a slight chuckle. It sounded familiar. My eyes opened slightly and revealed none other than Nightmare Moon. She grinned widely at me. Her teeth were shimmering in the dim moonlight. I tried sitting up, but my body wouldn’t let me. I was frozen on my place. I looked around. It looked like my room, but darker and creepier. I groaned when a sudden pain hit my ankle. A chuckle filled the air again.

“Oh dear, still having some trouble with that foot?”

I looked up at the dark mare. Her eyes showed dark amusement as she lured over me. My eyes filled with fear even though I knew it was a dream. The mare of the moon gave a slight chuckle again before continuing.

“Have you decided?”

I couldn’t answer. My mind clouded, my mouth went dry and my body trembled with fear. My heart was pounding loudly in my chest and my breathing became ragged as the dark mare bent over me more with a slight frown on her face. She was obviously annoyed by my silence, but I couldn’t get anything out of my mouth. I tried talking, but to no avail. The darkness flooded over me and from fear I closed my eyes.

When I reopened my eyes again, I was met with emerald green, dragon-like ones. They stared back at me with amusement and determination. I felt my body starting to calm down, even though Nightmare Moon’s eyes were still watching my every move. I stood up slowly, taking in my surroundings. I was in the dark forest again. The one from my previous dream. There was a slight hint of the scent of burned leaves in the air. Even if it wasn’t much, it made my nose cringe.

“Answer, Anna”

The night mare spoke, waking me from my thoughts. I looked back at the creature. It’s eyes were still focused on me. My whole body trembled with fear, but I didn’t show it as I answered. The words heavy on my lips, but still bearable.

“I want to know…” I started, the creatures eyes looked at me curious. She did not know what I was going to say. I held my breath as I thought over every word. I had to be careful. “What will it do for you, if I accept your offer?”

A wide grin found its way on the creatures lips. It’s teeth shone brightly, even though there was no light to make them shine. I backed away slightly as the whole creature came to sight. Nightmare Moon was still as amazingly intimidating as ever that it made me scared all over again. My confidence sinking away as my eyes filled with water.

No.

I couldn’t cry. I just couldn’t let my fear through. I had to stay strong. I had to make them answer. I straightened my body posture and held a confident look in my eyes as I talked again, trying to make the words sound confident and strong.

“Answer me”

The grin on the creature’s lips grew even wider and its mouth opened slightly, a chuckle escaping her lips.

“Well, well, well. I see you desperately want to know that”

Nightmare Moon let out a chuckle and walked back in the darkness. I held my breath as she disappeared. What was she going to do? I focused my attention to the place the mare had just been and held my guard up, being sure not to let it down.
When she came back, another pair of eyes stood beside her. They were also green, like Nightmare Moon’s, but they were much more darker. A grin was on the creatures face as it approached me. It was the last villain that had been introduced in the series until now.

Leader of the Changelings, Queen Chrysalis.

I swallowed a lump in my throat as my breathing started to fasten again. I had trouble taking enough air in and started to feel cramped. Like I was in a isolated room, with almost no air. It hurt in my chest as Chrysalis bent over me. Her voice was intimidating, even more than I could ever imagine, and her eyes showed a hint of curiosity as she talked.

“We want you to know..” She started. “…that we want to help you. To help you ‘escape’ your miserable life so that you could help us” She finished. I looked at her with disbelief, my eyes wide. Why would I help them? She chuckled slightly. “My, my, what are you a strange young girl” She said. I gritted my teeth. What was she talking about?

Nightmare Moon came back into vision again as Chrysalis backed away slightly. The night mare looked at me with amusement, but there was a hint of irritation in her eyes too. As if she wanted me to hurry up and decide. I took a deep breath and looked back at the two creatures determined. I had made up my mind. I was going to decide my fate.

“Alright” I started, a slight crack in my voice from fear, but it didn’t stop me as I continued. “But how would I help you then?” I asked, wanting desperately that they wouldn’t ask too much and just let me enjoy a new life in Equestria.

Another pair of eyes met mine. A pair with uneven red pupils. A chuckle filled the air, soon followed by the form of the God of Chaos appearing. A sharp teeth on one side of his mouth, a beard on his chin, and eyebrows cocked high from ego. I grimaced, he had been my favorite villain so far in the series, but now that he stood here before me, I was terrified.

“How you ask? What about…” He leaned closer to me, almost touching my ear with his mouth as he whispered. “…releasing us”

My eyes widened. I couldn’t do that! That would bring all of Equestria in danger. A long laugh erupted from the God’s throat as he leaned back. A wide grin was plastered on the other two’s faces as a portal opened once again. I stood still, frozen from fear, as I looked at the portal terrified. It opened wide and revealed the land of Equestria. I wanted to run away, so that I wouldn’t get sucked into it, but I couldn’t move. Long evil laughter filled the air as I was pulled into the portal. I had no control of my body. It moved on its own as I entered the world of Equestria. The three villains looked back at me with amusement and eagerness as I fell down. My body trembled and my eyes filled with fear as I fell. The three creatures grinned at me as their forms started to fade until they and the portal disappeared. I fell down faster and realized the worst.

I realized that I had made the wrong choice.

Is she alright?

Oh no, what should we do…?

Let’s just leave her alone already, she’s probably just nappin’. Like I was…

Of course not, Dash. She clearly needs help.

Voices…

Wait guys, she waking up! Hello? Hello, are you alright?

Where do they come from? My head was throbbing like crazy and I heard voices, which sounded strangely familiar. I opened my eyes slightly, meeting six pairs of others. My eyes widened. Six mares were staring back at me, worry and curiosity in their eyes. I looked around as I tried to sit up. Slowly standing on my hooves…

Wait a minute? Hooves…?

I looked down. Hooves… I had hooves! My whole body had changed and was coated in a dark purple color. What was going on? I looked back at the six mares in front of me. I looked at each one of them. They looked familiar, they were the main six of the series. Twilight approached me as I failed to stand and stumbled back down. Some other pony behind me caught me before I could hit the ground. Blinking a few times, I looked at them. It was Big Macintosh. He had worry in his eyes as he held me. I opened my mouth to speak, but the words came out as whispers. I sighed and decided it was for the best not to talk.

“Are you alright?”

Twilight approached me closer again and put a hoof gently on my shoulder. I nodded, still not quite understanding what was happening.

“Why don’t we bring her to nurse Redheart, Twilight?”

The purple unicorn nodded and asked the stallion if he wanted to help. He nodded back at the mare and brought me, together with the other ponies, to the hospital. I don’t remember much after that, waking up a while later in a hospital bed with the other ponies still there.

“Twilight, she’s waking up” One of them whispered. I couldn’t hear which one, but I heard footsteps(or hoofsteps) coming closer. My eyes opened slightly, not used to the bright light that surrounded my whole being.

“Where am I?” I asked, looking around the room when my eyes adjusted to the light. The purple unicorn walked closer and sat down beside the bed.

“In the hospital” She told me. “We found you just outside town. You were lucky we were there for our weekly animal day, otherwise you would probably still be there, alone.” She had worry and relief in her voice as she talked to me. Her eyes showed pity and looked at me warmly, as though she had been really worried.

“We saw ya' fall from a tree” Another pony said. I recognized the voice as Applejacks. She sounded just as worried as Twilight. I looked around the room again.

“What’s your name?”

I looked at the purple mare and remembered something. I’m a human. Well, before I became a pony… I looked around the room for a second before looking back at the unicorn.

“Angel”

I said, making up a name from my own.

“Angel Blossom”

I made up a total pony name and smiled as Twilight and the others seemed to believe me.
“Alright Angel. I’m Twilight Sparkle” She said before looking at the group of ponies behind her. “These are my friends” She pointed at them with her hoof.

“Applejack”

“Howdy” The orange earth pony tipped her hat slightly, smiling at me.

“Rarity”

“Hello there” The white unicorn smiled warmly. She wore a fancy scarf and a beautiful hat.

“Rainbow Dash”

The cyan pegasus grinned brightly before flapping her wings and doing a loop inside the room. “The awesome Rainbow Dash” She corrected before landing back on her seat again. Twilight sighed, ignoring the rainbow maned pegasus, and continued.

“Pinkie Pie”

The pink party pony jumped up and bounced towards me, making me smile with anticipation. She was one of my favorites from the show, because of her always positive atmosphere. Pinkie Pie grabbed one of my front hooves and shook it lightly, obviously not wanting to hurt me. I smiled even more at that. She was just so kind.

“Hey there! I’m so glad you’re alright, I was so worried when we found you ---“ She kept talking until Twilight interrupted her.

“Pinkie…” The pink pony looked at her friend confused before realizing what she was doing and walking back to her seat mouthing a ‘sorry’. I smiled at her, accepting her apology, which made her smile back.

Twilight continued again. “And Fluttershy”

The timid pegasus smiled slightly at me, partly hiding her face behind her mane. I smiled warmly at her as she whispered a quiet ‘hi’. Then Twilight looked back at me.

“Nurse Redheart said you weren’t hurt badly, only that you were exhausted”

I nodded in return. “Yeah, I don’t feel to great…”

“What happened anyway?” Twilight asked. I looked at her, thinking what had happened. Then it hit me. How I had gotten here. I was sent here by the villains. If the main six knew, they would probably banish me or something! I don’t even know how to go back to my own world. So apparently I didn’t have a choice. I had to stay here, because I couldn’t go anywhere else. Though there was just one question;

What should I tell them?

The six ponies looked at me curious as I smiled weakly. I looked at every one of them muttering a quiet ‘um…’ I sighed.

“Well, I don’t remember actually…”

I looked at the sheets that covered me in the bed. I didn’t know if they believed me or not.
I looked back at the main six. Twilight nodded to me in understanding. “Maybe you should stay here for the night” She offered.

I nodded to her. “That would be better”

“I’ll ask nurse Redheart if that’s okay” Twilight said, already getting back on her hooves, but I stopped her.

“That won’t be necessary. I’ll ask her myself” I smiled weakly at her as she thought for a moment before frowning slightly.

“No, you stay here in bed. I’m going to ask her” With that the purple unicorn left the room, her tail wiggling from left to right and back again. It was just so weird seeing all this in real life. I was a pony now, but I had no idea where to go. I don’t know how to get back to my world. And to be honest, I don’t even want to go back. I’ve always dreamed of living in Equestria, so for now, I’m going to enjoy my time here.

The five other ponies in the room talked to me about their adventures and told about the Elements of Harmony. I already knew about everything, but I’m not going to tell them. They would hate me and I don’t want that. When Twilight came back, she looked at me with a big smile.

“You’ll be staying at my house for now” She exclaimed. I blinked. Her house? Why? Still I smiled, unable to hold back the happiness that filled me.

“I’ll be taking care of you until you get your memory back” She told me. Now I was shocked. They thought I forgot everything? Well, I did tell them I didn’t remember how I got here. Let’s just roll with this.

“That’s great, Twilight, but you don’t have to go through all the trouble just for me” I said, waving a hoof defensively. Twilight trotted over to me.

“Oh no. I’m taking care of you, if you want it or not” She said, grinning brightly. I smiled at her. She really was a mother type.

I sighed. “Thanks Twilight” She smiled warmly at me.

“No problem”

The walk to the library wasn’t quiet. Twilight kept asking me things. Where I came from and things like that, I told her I didn’t remember. We were almost by the library as she asked me something I haven’t thought about myself yet.

“What does your cutie mark represent?”

Oops. I had a cutie mark? I looked at my flank. There it was. On the side of my dark purple coat. It was a cross, formed with a paint brush and a pen. I think it represented my love for drawing and writing, so I told her that.

“It represents my talent for drawing and writing.” I told her. But I wondered. How do ponies draw or write with no fingers, that’s when she asked me another question I hadn’t thought of myself.

“Do you use your magic for that?”

Magic? I had no idea what kind of pony I was until now. I looked up and could see just a hint of the tip of a horn. Touching it with my hoof I couldn’t resist grinning. I was a unicorn! How had I not realized that before!? Then I looked back at Twilight, she looked at me confused. Probably because of my behavior.

“Oh, yes. I do use my magic for that. You know, levitating the pencils to draw or write.” I said quickly, not wanting her to get suspicious. She smiled and nodded.

“My talent is magic itself. I can use almost any spell you give me.” She told me. I nodded to her, smiling too.

When we got to the library she was quick in giving me a tour through it. Showing me books, the sleeping area and other things.

“And you can sleep here.” She told me, pointing to a bed in front of her own. I smiled at her.

“Thanks for letting me stay here.” I said. Twilight turned back to me.

“Don’t worry about it. Nurse Redheart told me that they wouldn’t have enough room to keep you in the hospital, so I suggested that I could take you in and she agreed.” She smiled to me while she said that. It was really nice having someone, or somepony, smile at you like that. So I smiled back. This was going to be great.

After a few days I came to know the main six very well. I still haven’t heard or seen anything of those three villains, so until then, I can let it rest.
Today I helped out Twilight with the sorting of her books. She had thrown them all upside down again, so I decided to help her out. I didn’t want to let her know I had trouble with using my unicorn magic, because I never used it before, so I tried learning it myself. Which turned out quite well if I say so myself. I had learned to levitate objects just by thinking of wanting to grab it. It was also weird walking on hooves, but I learned that quite quickly too.

“Could you hand me that book, please?” Twilight asked from across the room. I nodded and looked at the book she pointed at, with her hoof of course. I used my magic to levitate it and it floated over too Twilight who took it with her own magic and put it on a shelf.
I was curious, so I tried looking in some books that stood out a bit. I also found the book from episode one. It was quite interesting reading it, but Twilight had caught me slacking off. With a laugh of both of us I put the book on a shelf and continued sorting.

At the end of the day we were both exhausted. I never knew this library had so much books. “The Canterlot archives have even more books and scrolls.” She had said. We went to sleep early, because she had much other work to do tomorrow. Unfortunately, I wasn’t going to get much sleep.

Angela~

My eyes shot open. It was dark and I was still covered up in Twilight’s spare bed. I sighed, it was just a dream. Probably…

A dark aura filled the air and suddenly I was in a forest. I knew this forest, but this time it was a bit lighter here. A small breeze blew my hair in my face, so I grabbed some plucks and put them back behind my ear.

Wait…

I was human again! Was I back? But this was a dream. A laugh filled the air, followed by my name again.

“Angela, we’ve come to take our return.”

I heard them, but I didn’t see them. I looked around the whole forest, running through it, on bare feet again. At least my ankle has healed. I didn’t want to trip again, so I lowered my pace. This was just a dream. Nothing to be afraid of.

“Boo.”

Shocked I turned around and saw a pair of evil red eyes. One pupil bigger than the other.

“Discord, let me handle this.” Nightmare Moon stepped forward. Oh, how I had hoped this day would never come. But still, this wasn’t even a day. It was night and I was asleep.

A nightmare. Again.

“What will you give us for our generous gift?”

“You don’t ask a a gift in return!” I answered. Nightmare Moon just grinned. How had I gotten into this? The evil mare laughed and lifted a hoof, sliding it over my head a bit before taking it back and putting it on the ground.

“We didn’t even get a ‘thank you’.” She said, fake pouting.

I groaned. “But what if I didn’t even want this!?” Nightmare Moon only laughed more at this.

“Oh dear. We know you want this. We all know.” The others came out from the darkness that surrounded us. They were grinning like maniacs. “We want you to consider a return for us. Even if it’s not much. Maybe some of that… unicorn power?” Nightmare Moon continued.

I grimaced. She was talking about Twilight. She wanted Twilight, I just knew it. So I answered them quickly. This time not hesitating.

“No.”

The three villains pouted. “Aw, that’s no fair, Angel.” Discord said, an amused tone in his voice.

I didn’t answer. I didn’t say anything. The three villains looked at each other. I noticed Chrysalis nodding.

“We’ll come back.” Nightmare Moon said after a while. “You’ll see.” She flapped her wings, making the dark air surround me and cover my sight. I looked around, but saw nothing else than darkness. Sighing, I closed my eyes.

This was going to be a hard choice.

I woke up from hooves poking in my side.

“Angel? Angel, wake up!”

I opened my eyes and saw Twilight hovering above me. I looked around. I was back again and I was a pony again too. I sighed and stood up.

“Sorry Twilight. Just had a bad dream.” I said.

The day went on normally, though Twilight sensed that I was tired. We were just checking some things in town. We went to stores to ask if they still had enough stocks and helped with other things. Twilight had told me about a special day that was coming up, though I was too busy thinking about my dream that I missed most of it.

“Are you alright, Angel?” Twilight asked as we exited the Quill and Sofa store. “You seem kinda off today.”

“Oh, it’s nothing. A bit tired I guess.” I said, trying to sound normal, but failing.

“You’re too tired, Angel. You should get some sleep. Otherwise you’ll be too tired for the visit of the Princesses.”

“Princesses?” I hadn’t heard anything about that. I think…

“Yeah. I’ve told you that this morning. The princesses are coming to Ponyville for their yearly visit.”

“Oh, yeah. Sorry about that. I wasn’t really listening this morning.”

Twilight huffed but shoved it off as we walked further. “Just go back to the library and get some sleep.” She said a bit worriedly. I sighed and nodded taking of, back to the library.

Back at the library it was quiet. Spike wasn’t there today, because he had to help Twilight too. I walked up to my bed and laid down, hesitating for a moment before closing my eyes and drifting to sleep.

My eyes opened from a bright light that shone in my eyes. Though when I saw it, I closed my eyes again. Groaning I tried turning my head, but found myself not able to do so. Panicking a bit, I tried moving my entire body, but I was frozen on the spot. I couldn’t move a muscle. I had also turned back into a human again, I felt my fingers, but couldn’t move them. The light faded suddenly and a shadow had replaced it. When I opened my eyes, I saw only darkness. Wanting to ask who was there, I opened my mouth, but nothing came out. I was unable to move or talk. Only my eyes could shift from side to side, so I did just that until a voice interrupted my scanning.

“My, my, my. You look a lot like me, don’t you?”

I had no idea who it was, but it was a man, I could hear that. I wanted to ask him what he was talking about, but I was still unable to do so. The man continued.

“Your mother was such a lovely lady back then.”

Then I realized it. This was him. I wanted to scream, I wanted to run, I wanted to punch him in the face. Suddenly, I was able to talk again.

“You rapist!” I yelled at the top of my lungs. He was my father. He had ruined my mother’s life by making me. He only laughed at my remark though.

“I understand your pity towards your mother, but understand me.” He stepped a bit closer. “She was asking for it.”

I gritted my teeth. I still couldn’t see him, but I knew he was smirking. I could just hear it in his voice. How could this horrible man be my father? I felt my arms tingle and I could move them again, so I did. With one swing of my arm I hit him square in the face.

“You bastard! You’re a horrible man!” I yelled while being able to stand up. Tears flowed from my eyes, but when I looked at the man, I saw only black smoke which evaporated into a form. The form of Nightmare Moon. The mare laughed and grinned at me, a smirk across her feature.

“Oh, what a pity. There goes my spell… You have a lot of hidden strength, you know.” She said. “Ah well, we’ll have to do with this.” She walked closer to me, but I backed away until my back hit something. Turning around with a gasp I met the God of Chaos.

“Discord, will you hold her still for a moment?” Nightmare Moon asked him. Discord smirked and placed his two irregular arms at my shoulders, freezing me in my movement. I could only talk now.

“Give us a return, Angela.” Nightmare Moon demanded. She was more determined now. “Or we’ll have to throw you away.” She said with a hint of pity in her voice.

“Go ahead! I’ll never give you anything!” I yelled, my face stained from tears. Nightmare Moon grinned. Another dark figure stepped closer and Queen Chrysalis came in sight.

“You know.” She said, tipping her holed hoof on her chin for a moment. “We can use her, can’t we?” She asked the other creatures. Nightmare Moon grinned wider.

“What do you have in mind, Queen?” She asked. The changeling queen grinned too.

“Let’s just see what she will do..” She stepped closer to me and lifted my head with her hoof. Her breath smelled horrible when she continued. It smelled like dead animals in a swamp. “..When we take away her will.” She laughed manically before taking a few steps back. Darkness surrounded me and I felt that Discord had released me. I felt a sudden sting in my chest and with one last glance towards the three grinning creatures, I closed my eyes and drifted away. My mind went blank and silence surrounded me once again.

I didn’t wake up, I was being controlled, I felt it. When my eyes opened though, I saw that I was floating in a violet purple sphere. I only saw colors, nothing more. Looking around I tried reaching for the end of the sphere, only to be pushed back by a sudden gust of wind. A laugh erupted from outside the area and I looked up. There, I saw me. At least, someone who looked like the pony-me. She was a dark purple color with a light blue mane. On her flank was my cutie mark. I couldn’t believe this. She was smiling at Twilight. I tried shouting out to the unicorn, but she couldn’t hear me. She thought that that pony was me.

“Twilight!” I yelled. But she couldn’t hear. I only heard another laugh. “No! You bastard! Get out of my head!” I floated around in the sphere until I came to a stop and fell down. I sat on my knees.

“How could this happen?” I said to myself. “Leave her alone…”

I couldn’t do anything. The three villains had taken my form and acted like me. They were going to manipulate Twilight and make her and the others release them or maybe even worse. I could still hear laughing as I closed my eyes and thought. I couldn’t even choose this time. Tears flowed from my eyes as I looked up again. I had to do something.

But what?

[Note; there are some person switches here. One in the beginning from first to third, and one a bit at the end, from third to first again. Just so you know]

I don’t know how long it had been since I was trapped here. Maybe a few hours or more. I just didn’t know. I could hear Twilight and her friends and the fake-me. The princesses were coming soon. I didn’t know what those villains had planned for them, but I knew this could not go well. I listened to them as I sat in this place.

“Please, Twilight. Don’t trust her!” I yelled, but to no avail. I couldn’t do anything, only wait. Wait until something happened. After a while I could hear that the princesses had arrived.

{Third person switch}

“Princess Celestia. It’s so nice to see you.” Twilight said to the approaching alicorn.

“It’s nice to see you too, my dear student.” Celestia answered. Luna followed her older sister to Sugarcube corner. “And Twilight, who is your new friend?” She asked when she sat down at a table in the small shop. It was decorated with all kinds of sweets and other things.

Twilight looked behind her at her newest company. “This is Angel Blossom. We found her a few days ago. It looked like she had fallen from a tree, but she can’t remember what happened so I offered her to stay here with us.” She told her mentor.

Celestia smiled warmly at the dark purple coated stranger. “Nice to meet you Angel.” She said. A small wicked smile crept on the strangers face as she approached the princess.

“No, the pleasure is all mine.” She said as she bowed slightly.

Princess Celestia took a glance to her side where Mrs. Cake was smiling at her like a maniac.

“Would you like some tea?” She asked. Celestia nodded kindly and the earth pony trotted off.

Looking back at Twilight and her friend, she noticed a strange look in the stranger’s eyes. But as quick as it had appeared, it disappeared after a single blink of an eye. Celestia paid no further attention to it, but decided to leave this ‘Angel’ alone, for now.

“Where is princess Luna?” Twilight asked. The sun princess looked at her student and nodded to the other side of the shop. Twilight turned around and saw the moon princess sitting against a wall. Silently looking at the ponies that surrounded her. A few fillies and colts tugged on her mane playfully, others just looked at her astonished, like she was a God.

“She doesn’t know how to deal with all the attention.” Princess Celestia noted chuckling slightly. Twilight nodded in agreement. “Why don’t you introduce your new friend to her, Twilight?” The unicorn nodded at her mentor and looked back at her other unicorn friend.

“Would you like to meet her, Angel?” She asked her friend. Angel smiled slightly and nodded.

“I would like that, yes.” With that the two walked towards the younger princess. Princess Celestia looked at their retreating backs as Mrs. Cake trotted towards her with a cup of tea.

“Hello princess Luna.” Twilight said. The princess looked up at her as she was sitting on the ground, playing slightly with the little foals. “How are you today?”

Luna brushed the small ponies off of her gently and stood up. “I'm alright, thank you.” She said. “And who is this?” The princess asked when she looked at the stranger at Twilight’s side.

“This is Angel Blossom. We found her a few days ago and since then she stayed with us.” Twilight told her. Luna looked at the stranger and frowned slightly.

“Where do you come from, if I may ask?” She asked, taking a few steps closer.

“I’m very sorry princess, but sadly I do not remember.” Angel answered, her ears lowering a bit as the princess came nearer.

“Hmm, that is indeed… Sad…” The princess glanced to her side and saw Twilights other friends. “Well, we hope you will enjoy yourself here with these wonderful ponies.” Luna said as she smiled at Twilight. “If you’ll excuse me.” She walked past the two towards her sister and sat down next to her. Twilight and Angel walked towards their friends as Luna approached her sister.

“Big sis, can I ask you something about that stranger?” Luna asked. Celestia looked at her, but the moon princess had locked her gaze on Angel.

“Of course, my dearest sister.”

“Does she seem familiar to you?”

“In no way.”

“Hmm…”

“But” Celestia looked at the blue-maned unicorn. “She does not seem trustworthy.”

Luna nodded in agreement. “I'll keep an eye on her.” The dark mare wanted to stand up, but a white coated hoof stopped her in her tracks.

“I will confront her myself.” The sun princess stood up and trotted towards the stranger as Luna slowly followed.

“Angel Blossom.”

Said unicorn turned around slowly, her eyes glowing green and a wicked smile on her face.

“Yes, princess?”

That was when the princess realized it. This was not a normal pony. She charged her, but to no avail. The purple mare evaporated into smoke and disappeared. Celestia stood up tall, her sister close behind her as well as the main six.

“Be gone monster! Stay away from my land!” The princess yelled. A wicked laugh filled the room. After that all ponies went outside where the smoke had reappeared. The smoke had taken the form of Angel again.

“I trusted you!” Twilight yelled, her voice fiery and her eyes angry. Celestia gently put a hoof on her students shoulder and reached down to whisper in her ear.

“This is not the real Angel.” She said. Twilight was stunned. How could she know this? “They can only take the form of an existing pony. You have to search for the real Angel and bring her here. Only she can stop them.” Twilight looked at her mentor as she finished and nodded.

“And you..” Celestia turned back to the fake pony as Twilight ran off to find the real one. “Be gone!”

Where should I look?’ Twilight thought as she ran towards her library. Maybe there was a book that could help her.

Twilight…

“What was that? Who is there?” Twilight looked around her but found no one as she ran further to the library. “Spike! I need your help!” The little dragon ran up to the unicorn with sleepy eyes.

“What’s going on?” He asked as Twilight ran past him towards the books.

“Where could she be?” She muttered to herself.

“Twilight?” Spike walked towards her again. “What are you looking for?”

“I don’t know… Maybe a map of Equestria… Or.. Oh, I don’t know!” The unicorn let out a frustrated groan and let herself fall on the ground.

“What’s going on Twilight?” Spike asked again.

“That pony we found, Angel, was suddenly replaced by some kind of monster somehow and now I have to find the real Angel to defeat them.” Twilight told him. Spike nodded and looked at a shelf.

“What about that?” He asked as he pointed towards a small book laying lonely on his side on a shelf, no other books surrounding it. Twilight walked up to it and levitated it with her magic.

The world of unknown Equestria? I’ve never read this…” She opened it and read. Her eyes scanned every page until she suddenly gasped. “That’s it!” She picked up her saddle bags, threw them on her back and put the book in them. “Thanks Spike.” She said before running out of the library, leaving behind the small confused dragon.

“Sister!” Princess Luna ran towards her older sister, who lay defeated on the ground. “Big sis, are you alright?” She asked. Celestia silently nodded.

“You have to find the real Angel, Luna. Help Twilight find her.” Celestia said as her eyes closed and a deep sigh escaped her lips. When her eyes opened again she stood back up and confronted this enemy a second time. She had to keep this monster busy until the real Angel was found.

The younger princess nodded to her sister and flapped her wings, flying off into the distance to find Twilight.

-----------

Near the edge of town Twilight ran as fast as she could towards the Everfree Forest. Going past Fluttershy’s cottage without any interest in it. She just had to find the real Angel and defeat these monsters.

“Twilight Sparkle.”

The unicorn stopped in her tracks when she heard her name and turned around. Luna came flying towards her with haste.

“I’m glad I found you, Twilight. Celestia is having problems fighting this enemy. We have to find Angel as quick as we can.” The princess told her. Twilight just nodded and continued running towards the creepy forest.

“Do you know where we can find her, Twilight?” Luna asked as they entered the dark woods. The unicorn nodded to her and ran further.

“We have to hurry. Not only for princess Celestia, but also for Angel herself.” Twilight told the alicorn.

Luna looked at her confused. “What exactly do you mean?” She asked.

“Angel is in a secured place deep inside the Everfree Forest.” Twilight started. “I read it in this book.” She levitated the book out of her bag and showed it to the princess.

The world of unknown Equestria? We do not know this book.” The princess said.

“Well, it said here” Twilight flipped through the pages while still running over the path. “that there is a contained space in the Everfree Forest. On my way to the library I heard a voice calling my name and it sounded like Angel. When I read this” She pointed to a part of the text with her horn. “I realized where she was.”

Luna read the part. “Anypony who comes into this space, or sphere as it seems, is contained with magic and cannot break out. They can, however, hear ponies they had seen before containment and contact with them. Thought it is very dangerous in this sphere as it will run out of oxygen after twenty four hours, resulting in death of those who are inside. It is still unknown to ponykind how this sphere exactly works, but it can only be opened from the outside.”

Twilight nodded as Luna finished talking.

“Do you know how to open it?” The princess asked.

“Well, not exactly, but I have an idea.” Twilight answered as they ran further into the forest.

-----------

{First person switch}

It was lonely in this sphere. I couldn’t hear Twilight and the others anymore. After that the princesses arrived, I couldn’t hear anything. I just looked up at the top of the sphere. It was filled with colors, mostly a magenta like tint with a bit of purple and red through it. Sighing I closed my eyes again. I couldn’t sleep in here. Not with the thought of those villains wanting to hurt my friends. I finally knew how it felt to have friends. It was a nice feeling, being liked and cherished. Tears started rolling down my face again as I sat quietly and hugged my knees tight to my chest. Finally, after lying down for a while, I fell asleep.

“Angel! Angel Blossom!”

My eyes shot open and a bright light suddenly flooded my vision. I saw a purple and a dark blue blurs coming towards me. When they were close enough I could see that they were Twilight and princess Luna.

“Twilight…”

“Luna, we have to bring her back to Ponyville.” Twilight said. Luna nodded and I was levitated of the ground. I saw that my hands were replaced by hooves again. Apparently I turned into a pony again the moment the sphere was broken.

Luna put me on her back and flew away. With a last glance down I saw Twilight teleporting herself with her magic. My eyes closed as Luna brought me back to Ponyville.

Celestia was bruised bad when we came back. Luna put me on the ground and Celestia came walking towards me, slowly because of the bruises on her body. The fake-me had evaporated into smoke again and surrounded us.

“You are the real Angel Blossom?” Celestia asked me. I nodded, not being able to talk due to the shock. “Well then, Angel, will you help us?” Celestia reached down to me and touched my horn with hers. “Angel, you probably have not realized this yourself, but you are also one of the Elements of Harmony.”

My eyes widened as a necklace found its way around my neck.

“The Element of Courage. You have the strength to defeat them, Angel.” Princess Celestia stood back again as the smoke took a form before my eyes. Nightmare Moon stood before me, but this time I was not scared. My eyes stood fierce as I straightened my back and put my hooves solidly on the ground.

“You won’t scare me anymore, Nightmare Moon.” The night mare just laughed and stepped up to me. This time I didn’t back up. I stood straight and looked the mare in the eyes. She grinned. Darkness surrounded me and only Nightmare Moon and I were in sight. On the other side of the darkness I could hear voices, but I couldn’t hear what they were saying.

“You’re persistent little girl, but know one thing. We won’t lose again.” With that she disappeared together with the surrounding darkness. I knew a battle would come, but I had other things to think about now. I, a human, had been accepted here as a pony and became the seventh element. I looked down to the necklace. A green, upside down droplet was in the center of the golden necklace.

“Angel Blossom. Only you can defeat them. Good luck.” Celestia and Luna flew up into the air and went back to Canterlot. The main six surrounded me with astonished looks on their faces. My ears lowered as they neared me, getting scared of the approaching group. But instead of the usual bullying, they gave me a big hug.

“You can do it Angel.” Twilight said. I smiled. I’ve never felt like this before. To have friends so close is the best thing in life. To be loved is a great feeling. I’m finally where I belong. The images of my parents and other people I have known disappearing to the back of my mind and forgotten. Smiling I realized what I’ve missed. Now my only task is to defeat those villains, even if it would cost me my life. I will not let them have Equestria.

I will win.
