In love with myself

Due to a spell mishap, Spike now finds himself taking care of his....different self

It was a rather uneventful day in Golden Oaks Library.

However, as luck seems to have it, Twilight was given a scroll by Princess Celestia herself with a spell that enables anything to be replicated. Testing this, she casts the spell on a piece of furniture, only for her magic to go astray and hit Spike.

This causes him to have his very own clone....with some very significant changes.

Most particularly the gender.

And now, Spike can't help but feel very attached to her.

Hi ho everypony. This is a special thank you to those who actually likes the stuff I write.

If anything seems wrong, do tell me and I will try my best to fix it.

"So....Pretty"

View Online

It was a rather boring afternoon in the quaint town of Ponyville as the many residents continued on with their daily routines. Tending to their shops, talking among one another, heading towards someplace to grab a bite to eat. That sort of daily stuff.

However, for a young guy who is tending the towns only library, things were more boring than usual.

"Ugh! What's wrong with today! It's so boring..." The young boy piped out.

As what every residence of Ponyville knows, this boy's name is Spike. The adopted brother of Twilight Sparkle, the towns librarian as well as her number 1 assistant. He is 15 years of age and has a light green hair and eye color with a purple tail that had green pointed spike like scales. He was currently wearing a plain purple shirt with a couple of light green stripes going horizontally around the middle with a pair of dark blue shorts. Currently, he was lying on top of one of the sofa's that was brought into the library a couple of days ago, groaning in displeasure.Once again, he was given the job to take care of the library as Twilight headed out to meet one of her friends about something related to apples and hips.

Something about bucking. Spike couldn't quite remember.

After a couple more moments of laying completely still, Spike heard the door open, trailing his eyes to find that his sister had finally returned. Now standing up, Spike readjusted his shirt and pulled up his shorts a little before walking over to his sister. "Hey Twi. So what happened?" Spike asked as he straightened out his neon green hair.

"Apparently, Applebloom tried to buck a tree on her own again. This time, for some really strange reason, the tree acted as if it were made of rubber, stretching to one end before bouncing back and hitting her, sending her flying to the barn. Needless to say, AJ wanted us to help with the damaged barn. I'm telling you. This has Discord's name all over it" Twilight said as she took off her small sling bag and sighed in relief. "Don't know why, but I feel really tired"

"Meh, can't really say wh-" Spike was cut off by the sound of him belching as a bright flame flew out of his mouth. Once it dissipated, a scroll then fell and landed on Spike's hands, catching him off guard. Tearing off the seal which he didn't pay attention to, Spike skimmed through most of the message up until he read who it came from. "Oh! It's from mom" Spike said, hearing Twilight gasp a little.

You see, ever since he was small, he had always though of Princess Celestia being his mother, as he was always with her and with Twilight back then. And yes, you read that correctly. Needless to say, Celestia was always happy to hear him say that and also thought of adopting him as her own child once.

"What's it say then?" Twilight asked, curiosity getting hold of her.

"Let's see...Ahem. 'Dear Faithful Student'....Blah blah blah...Yadda yadda yadda...'Spell from Starswirl The Bearded'...blah blah blah...'Replicate anything'...blah blah blah...'Signed, Princess Celestia. P.S. Luna had yelling at me for eating her cake. I couldn't help it!'" Spike said, chuckling at the end along with Twilight.

Then, her mind registered what she heard. "Wait...Did she say a spell from Starswirl The Bearded?" she asked, a small sparkle appearing in her eyes.

"Wait..." Spike trailed off, his eyes scanning the message for the particular sentence. "AH! Here. 'I had come across this particular spell from Starswirl The Bearded when I was inside the Royal Archives. With it, any unicorn is able to replicate anything that the spell touches. Either it be an inanimate object or a live specimen. I have entrusted this into your hands as I have full confidence that you are able to manipulate it. I have a feeling that there is something more to it that just that'

"Huh...Now that's cool. Let's see...Oh! The spell is on a separate paper at the bottom of the scroll" Spike said, giving the scroll to Twilight as she fully examined the scroll. Her eyes darted back and forth as she read through. A moment later, a grin broke out from her face.

"Oh this is exciting! A new spell for me learn!" Twilight exclaimed as she let out a girlish squeal before running upstairs to prepare.

This left Spike alone once again. He sighed as he picked up Twilight's bag before placing it down onto the sofa, where he laid himself on it and stared into the ceiling.

"SPIKE!!" Twilight yelled from upstairs, causing the young boy to jolt himself awake. Spike squinted his eyes for a moment before letting out a yawn and rubbing his eyes, trying to dispel the sleepiness.

"What?" Spike replied, feeling slightly annoyed from being woken up abruptly.

"Can you help me bring my bag upstairs, please?" Twilight asked, causing Spike to sigh. He grabbed the bag that was next to him before he continued his way upstairs, walking ever so slowly. Eventually, he was finally upstairs. He slowly walked through the corridor before opening Twilight's door where he found her concentrating as her hands glowed purple. However, Twilight noticed Spike's entry and her concentration was soon shattered. She put scrunched up her face for a moment before smiling as she saw her brother holding her bag.

"Thanks Spike" Twilight thanked him, causing Spike to yawn once more.

"You're still working on that spell?" Spike asked with a small frown on his face. Twilight's smile faltered a little.

"Yea. Don't worry though. I almost had it, until you came in" Twilight said with a small frown now on her face.

Spike lifted up his hands as he stared at her for a while. "Hey. I didn't know you were working on the spell alright? For all I know, you could have been reading a book" Spike said, causing Twilight to giggle.

"Fine. Anyways, the spell should finally work now. You want to see?" Twilight asked.

"Sure!" Spike exclaimed, feeling his drowsiness fade into nothing.

With that, Twilight took a deep breath and closed her eyes, not a moment later, her hands glowed a light purple glow. Then, after a while, Twilight fired off the magic onto a nearby piece of furniture, which, conveniently, was a chair. However, that was when the unexpected happen.

As soon as the ball of magic touched the chair, the furniture seemed to reject it as the ball was sent flying back, its path being in line with Spike. Due to how unexpected it was, Spike did not have any time to try and dodge the orb that was coming straight at him and once it hit him, his body felt numb for a while as a purple glow enveloped him. After that, a bright flash of light filled the room, blinding both Spike and Twilight.

Once the light died down, Twilight rubbed her eyes for a while before her vision came back to her. Once it did, she frantically went up to Spike who was lying on the floor, groaning in displeasure as his body felt odd, as if his body was split into half. "Spike! Are you ok?!" Twilight asked, checking to see if he had any injuries.

"I'm fine...Just...a little dizzy...Ugh..." Spike groaned once more, making Twilight sigh in relief.

However, something managed to catch their attention. It was in a form of a groan as well, however, it seemed to have come from a girl. Their thoughts were soon correct when they heard someone speak. "Argh...I don't feel so well...".

Both Spike and Twilight looked around the room, trying to find where the voice came from, only to be stopped when they found a girl lying on the floor next to the nearby bookshelf with books piled on top of her. They couldn't tell who she was at the moment, but something inside of Spike prompted him to help her up. Standing up, he ran to where she was at. "H-Hey...L-Let me help" Spike stuttered for a moment.

The girl groaned once more. She felt the weight on her back being thrown off as someone was obviously helping her. With whatever strength she had left, she slowly pushed herself up by a little. She then lifted her face to try and see the person whom was helping her at the moment.

It was then that their eyes met.

Spike, couldn't help but stare at this person. Her lush green hair that went down to shoulder length and not to mention those emerald orbs that entranced him. It was then that Spike uttered something that made the girl blush.

"So....Pretty"

Awkwardness

"So....Pretty" Spike uttered under his breath, which caused the green haired girl to blush as her face suddenly felt hot. Silence soon followed as the two continued to stare at each other's emerald irises, unable to help themselves from being entranced by it. It felt odd to say the least when the two had a feeling of being pulled to one another by some odd force.

Luckily, Twilight happened to still be around the room. She coughed loud enough to catch their attention as Twilight looked around sheepishly, refusing to lay her sights on the duo. "Eheheh...I guess I kinda screwed up?" she sheepishly questioned.

Spike stared at her for a moment longer before he sighed. He knew his sister didn't mean it. She would never have known the spell would get redirected and hit him. Then, Spike's eyes bulged for a moment as the cogs in his brain started to turn. 'Wait...She's my clone? My replica?' he questioned as he trailed his eyes over the girl, who had her body under a mountain of books. That couldn't be right...The spell did sat an exact replica...

'So why is he...a she?' Spike questioned once more. Eventually, he got frustrated, letting out a "Argh!" in annoyance as he couldn't find out why this mishap happened. Even so, Spike had a clone now! Even if the gender was not spot on.

Spike let out a heavy sigh. 'Well...I should help her out now' Spike thought, shaking his head as he removed any further questions about his female counterpart. "H-Hey...Let me pull you up" Spike said, catching her attention once more. Grabbing her hand, she proceeded to try and help her up, only to be disappointed when he realized there were still a lot of books on top of her. And so, being the ever-so-helpful person that he is, he went up and threw most of the books aside, much to Twilight's annoyance as she tried to stop him.

Taking the girl's hand once more, Spike smile as she began to budge under the pile of books. She didn't seem heavy at all when he did so. With once last pull, Spike managed to pull her out of the pile of books, as he was sent tumbling towards the bed, letting out an "oof!" as something impacted him, causing him to groan as his eyes were closed.

"...Erm...T-Tha-Thank you...Um...S-Sorry" The girl meekly said as she rubbed her head and closed her eyes.

"It's fine..." Spike said dismissively, groaning a little as he placed a hand on his head and rubbed it to ease the pain with his eyes closed as well.

"Umm...Spike...You may want to move aside" Spike heard Twilight say, making major gaps in between.

"Huh? Why's that?" Spike asked, still rubbing his face.

Then, miraculously, the duo opened their eyes, bulging a little as they finally managed to catch a full view of themselves.

For the girl, this 'Spike' almost resembled herself, with the same emerald irises, green hair. Her eyes trailed downwards and made a mental note of him. He seemed rather fit, although not too fit. And from what she could tell, he must be around the same age as her, maybe older, maybe younger. She couldn't help but feel her cheeks redden as he stared at him. Even with that, she was a little confused why his face was all red.

Now, to answer your curiosity.

For Spike, he had probably the most shocking experience of his life. Why, you may ask?

To put it bluntly, this girl, was lying on top of him, staring at him with her cheeks slightly red, naked.

Yes.

Completely Naked

This in turn caused, Spike to nosebleed as he stared at her. Her two mounds squished onto his chest and being to feel her body temperature. Not to mention...

'...That...Butt'

...Yea...That.

The girl took notice of his bleeding nose and let out a small yelp. "Oh my gosh! Your nose is bleeding!" she yelled, now standing up as she began to frantically look for something to wipe his face, her tail moving frantically as well.

However, unfortunately or fortunately for Spike, this caused him to get a look of 'that', which caused his eyes to bulge even more as more blood began to flow. He stuttered for a moment before fainting, causing Twilight to scream in horror, with the girl's attention being caught from Spike's sudden impact with the floor.

Then, the door sudden bursted open, revealing Twilight's friends. Two pegasi, Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy, a unicorn named Rarity and two earth ponies named Applejack and Pinkie Pie.

"Twilight! What's wrong!? We saw a bright white flash just now!" Rainbow yelled, using her wings to keep her afloat in the air. She was currently wearing her 'Ponyville Weather Team Uniform', which consisted a cyan colored uniform shirt, with a pair of cyan wings on her collar as well as a pair of dark blue jeans.

"Oh! Oh! Oh! Is it because of her?" Pinkie asked, pointing a finger to a girl further back, causing said girl to stop in her tracks. Pinkie was in her pink blouse with a balloon pattern in the middle, a pink skirt with a white and blue stripped stockings, bouncing on the spot with a huge grin as if this sort of things happened everyday.

The group of five then laid their eyes on the girl, their eyes bulging out of their sockets gawking at the scene as they tried to comprehend what in the world happened, who was this girl and why was she naked, except for Pinkie Pie, who seemed rather unfazed by the scene. Then, their eyes soon trailed towards the left, catching the sight of Spike, lying on the floor as a trail of blood ran down his nose.

"Hehehe...Hi...girls. Erm..It's a long story" Twilight sheepishly spoke, looking left and right, fidgeting on the spot.

"O-Oh...M-My.." Fluttershy stuttered, hiding behind Rarity. She was currently in her favorite yellow sweatshirt, in which she used to hide her blushing face, as well as a green skirt.

"O-Oh D-Dear me! T-This is...r-rather....odd" Rarity, uncomfortably said. She was currently wearing her white business suit, a purple skirt and a pair of red glasses, in which she had to readjust uncomfortably, a blush evident on her face.

"Umm...G-Girl...Y-Ya might wanna...put on some clothes on yourself" Applejack said, blushing. She was wearing her everyday attire, an orange button down shirt with a brown leather vest and a pair of slightly torn, light blue jeans, fiddling with her stetson hat to hide her red face.

"Huh?" The girl asked, confused for a moment before Pinkie giggle.

"Hehehe! You're naked silly filly!" she said with a smile as she continued to giggle.

The girl cocked her head for a moment before Pinkie's words registered into her mind. Looking down, she let out a yelp as she found out that she was in fact naked, using her hands and her tail to try and cover herself more private areas. "Ahh!!! D-D-Don't lo-look!!" she stuttered, her face completely red as she was now flustered.

"Erm..You can...wear some of my clothes when I was younger...I just hope it fits" Twilight said, magically conjuring a purple towel, placing it onto the naked frame of the girl.

The rest of the girls then began to awkwardly move around the room, with Pinkie being as cheerful as always, still unfazed by the sheer oddity from what they saw. Twilight and Rarity left the room to help the girl find some decent clothing, leaving Applejack and Rainbow to help clean up the books from the floor as Pinkie and Fluttershy went up to Spike to help clean the pool of his own blood.

"Heheh! Spike saw some buns! Four really round buns!" Pinkie said, giggling as Fluttershy continued to wipe away the blood, her face as red as a tomato.

"...What about...?"

"Alright...Let us get this straight..." Rainbow started as she was now sitting down on the floor with her arms and legs crossed. "You, firstly, got a letter from the Princess, which is about some weird magic thing that makes thing have other things of their own. The spell backfires, hits Spike and now we have her" Rainbow said, pointing to the green haired girl, who was now clothed in one of Spike's shirt and his hoodie, with a borrowed purple skirt from Twilight when she was young. She was also sitting next sitting next to Spike, who was still knocked out, with a nervous look on her face.

"Erm...Basically like that. Although, the spell did say an exact replica" Twilight said sheepishly.

"There's something wrong with it then! If it was an exact replica, wouldn't she have a female version of Spike's brain?" Pinkie wondered, tilting her head sideways a bit.

"I don't know! I'm also trying my best to comprehend what's happening, okay?!" Twilight yelled, letting out a "Urgh!" as frustration was seeping out of her. "You see girls...Even if she did have a female version of Spike's brain, she would have at least known who I am at the very first sight! My guess is that her mind is almost an empty canvas, with her speaking and vocabulary levels the same as Spike. The rest, like our names, is completely erased" she said in a slight educating tone.

Just then, a loud groan could be heard thorough the room, enticing many gasps from the mares as the green haired girl could only move a little further away and stare. Eventually, Spike managed to get wake up from his unconsciousness, letting out another groan as he placed his back up against the corner. "Ugh...Did anypony get the number of that chariot that hit me?" Spike asked, rubbing his forehead with his hand.

The entire group let out "Spike!" at the same exact moment, running up to him and crowding around him. "Spike! How are you feeling?" Twilight asked, cupping his hands as she looked at him with a face of worry.

"Ugh...Dizzy...But otherwise...fine I guess..." Spike replied. He then took off one of his hands that was placed in Twilight's palms and rubbed his head once more, still trying to ease the pain that was inside. "What...Happened?" he asked, looking up at the group that was in front of him.

The girls then looked at each other for a moment before simultaneously sighing, with Pinkie being the only exception. "Well...Umm...We don't really know much deary. But..um...all that we knew at that point of time was that...there's this naked girl in the middle of the room, with you laying on the floor in a pool of your own blood which was dripping down your nose" Rarity sort of explained, a small sheepish smile on her face.

Spike looked at her for a moment, trying to process what he had heard. "I...passed out...due to a major nosebleed...am I correct?" Spiked asked, earning a small "Ehehehe..." from Twilight, with a nod following shortly afterwards. Spike groaned in displeasure. He was seriously not having a good time.

Then, he suddenly jolted up in surprise. "Wait! There was a naked girl?!" he asked in a shocked manner, enticing a couple of uneasy glances and awkward coughs from the girls.

"Umm...I...I'm sorry...for that" A female voice caught Spike's attention. Turning his head to the right, he saw the same girl from a couple of moments after he was caught in the spell misfire. She was wearing one of his green shirts, which somehow seemed to fit her, as well as his purple hoodie, along with a purple skirt. She was sitting in between Pinkie's legs, with Pinkie's eyes closed as she seemed to be humming a merry tune in delight.

"Wait...I remember you...You're that girl I helped!" Spike exclaimed, causing the girl to flinch slightly as Pinkie opened her eyes in curiosity.

"Oh! Spiky! You're awake! This little lady has been kind of worried about you. Since, ya know, you passed out at sight of her naked body" Pinkie said with a cheeky grin, causing the girl to blush profusely.

Spike's mind began to process the info once again, giving an answer moments later with a wide eyed expression. "Wait!! You were naked?!" Spike asked, pointing a finger at her.

With that, the room was suddenly quiet. Pinkie was still smiling as if this kind of thing always happens, with everyone else, except Spike, to blush and face away, with the girl's face now bright as a tomato.

This was going to be an awkward explanation.

"...and...that's that...I suppose" Twilight said, fidgeting slightly in her seat.

The room was silent once more as Spike began to ponder over the situation. The spell worked in a sense, giving him a clone. That's true, however, it still remains a mystery as to why she was...well...a she. Not to mention, as what Twilight had said, it will make it so that the clone is identical in every aspect, from both their physical aspects as well as their memories and stuff of the like. In this instance, however, she doesn't even know the names of everyone in the room. She doesn't even know whether she has a name, which came as a shock to everyone in the room.

Spike heaved a heavy sigh. This was a really really odd day for him. He had woken up , very early in the morning, to find himself in the kitchen, get's avalanched with books as he was helping to take care of the library, his sister manages to create a female version of himself with no memory of anyone or any events and not to mention he also managed to see the female version of himself, completely naked, causing him to black out due to a major nosebleed.

Finally, Spike decided to say something to break the silence. "So...What do we call you then?" he asked, catching everyone's attention.

"Huh..?" The girl asked as her tail twitched slightly.

"You know...a name to call you. We can't just keep calling you as 'That Girl' or something like that, now can we?" Spike asked in a joking manner, causing Pinkie to giggle.

"Hehehe! Hey! It's that girl!" Pinkie said jokingly, pointing a finger at the green haired female before giggling once again.

The room suddenly felt more lively after that, with the rest of the females chuckling along at the small joke. The girl could be seen grabbing her tail as a small smile soon began to form on her face, knowing that she wasn't in trouble. It was then that the rest of the group of girls began to throw ideas of a possible names for the girl, most of which she found enticing.

However, one of them stood out the most as it was spoken by none other than him.

"...How about Barb? Short for Barbara?" Spike asked, turning to face the girl with a smile.

The girl looked at him for a moment, her emerald irises staring intently at his. She had no idea why, but the name seemed so appealing to her especially when he said it himself. So, with that, she smiled a warm smile at him. "I'd like that" she said, causing Spike's smile to turn into a grin.

"Well then! My name's Spike!" Spike said, putting up a hand to Barb.

Barb looked at his hand for a moment before grabbing it, smiling a little. "Umm..Nice to meet you...I...Umm...I'm s-sorry you had to...erm...see me without anything on" Barb stammered, her blush returning, causing Spike to blush as well.

"Y-Yeah...Uhh...Well...We didn't really know you would be naked...so...umm...it's ok..I guess..." Spike said, facing away, causing the rest of the girls to laugh at the sight of the two blushing duo.

'...Nice ass though...' Spike thought, feeling his face warm up even further.

"Niceeeee one..."

View Online

"Hmm...Do you have any memories whatsoever?" Spike asked, extremely curious.

Barb then scrunched her face, trying to recall any form of memory that she might have possessed. In the end, all she did was shake her head. "No...I don't. Sorry" She said, hanging her head down in sadness.

"Well! Since you don't have any memories whatsoever, we'll have to make new ones then!" Pinkie screamed in delight, jumping on the spot as a huge grin was on her face. This in turn caused Barb to flinch from the sudden action, yelling in surprise as she accidentally smacked Spike with her tail.

On his face.

Hard.

The resulting hit caused Spike to fly to the nearby wall, smacking against it. The girls gasped loudly, running to his side as Twilight managed to get a question across.

"Spike! Spike! Are you ok?!" She asked in concern, causing the boy to spin his head in a clockwise manner.

"Bah! I'll be fine...!" Spike managed to croak out, smiling softly as his eyes registered birds spinning on top of his head in circles. Moments later, he passed out once again.

With him knocked out once again, Barb awkwardly curled into a ball, wrapping her tail around her form as she gulped in fear as to what his friends may say. Thankfully for her, all they did was sigh and told her it was an accident.

"Well! That would work as a good memory" Pinkie said with a shrug of her shoulders as the rest of the girls could only facepalm.

After the small incident, Spike took upon the task to grab some refreshments for the girls, being the ever so helpful being that he is. With a quill in one hand and a scroll in the other, he jotted down what the girls wanted. Earl Grey tea for Twilight and Rarity, a soda for Dash and Pinkie, lemonade for Fluttershy, cider for AJ (which thankfully for Spike, Twilight had some non alcoholic cider) and a glass of cold water for Barb.

With that, he went out the door. Before he could close it, however, he heard the girls giggling madly. Peeking his head inside for a while, he saw the girls were all wearing a bright red blush of their faces, with Dash and Pinkie trying to hold in their chuckles. For Barb however, her face was entirely crimson, trying to hide her face behind her long green hair.

Sighing once again, Spike left, closing the door behind him and went downstairs.

There was only one thing on his mind. And that was that...

'...Man. Girls are really weird'

Soon, he was at the kitchen, rummaging through the pantry in search of a large tray, to which he managed to find. Placing it down on the kitchen table, he made his way to the kettle and boiled water, knowing that it would take quite a while.

With that, he began to get the necessary refreshments that the girls wanted

=Meanwhile=

"Oh my gosh! I can't believe you just said that!" Pinkie squeed and brought her two hands on her face and made a kissing face.

"I-I-I don't wh-why I said that, okay!?" Barb screamed, desperately trying to dispel the cheeky grins on all the girls faces.

You might be wondering, what happened?

Well, just before Spike left the room, Barb had managed to mutter a word that was apparently loud enough for the girls but not for Spike. This caused the girls to giggle like mad.

"Niceeeee one Barb" Dash gave a cheeky smile at the young dragoness.

"Well...Ah never thought ah'd see the day some girl would take fancy for Spike. His rump more so" Applejack managed to say without giggling, her lips were quivering as she tried to hide the blush on her face with her Stetson.

"Oh! Puh-lease Applejack! We know that Spike is a rather handsome young drake. In fact, I would be thoroughly surprised if she didn't think he actually has a nice rump, if I do say so myself" Rarity coughed awkwardly as she turned her face away.

"...Um...Girls...I...I think we need to stop now. Barb is...um...getting really red" Fluttershy softly said, pointing a finger to the young female with a worried smile.

The girls giggled once again when Barb was trying to hide her face in Spike's hoodie. Twilight soon managed to ask her friends to stop, seeing as how the poor girl was about to die from embarrassment. "Anyways...I guess it's the best time to introduce ourselves then" Twilight said, walking to Barb with a hand raised. "I'm Twilight Sparkle and these are my friends"

She then pointed a finger to Rainbow. "That's Rainbow Dash. Self proclaimed fastest pegasus in Equestria as well as an air-head" she said with a small smirk, causing Dash to go nuts. Thankfully, she was restrained by Applejack, who was holding her waist. "See? Anyways, the one holding her is Applejack. She owns the largest apple fields, Sweet Apple Acres"

"Howdy! Glad ta meet'cha!" Applejack said with a grin, causing Barb to smile softly.

"The other unicorn is Rarity. She's the town's seamstress"

"Charmed. Oh and, do stop by later. I just have to make you some clothes, seeing as you don't have any to yourself" Rarity smiled.

"Th-Thank you" Barb stuttered.

Twilight giggled before moving on. "The one with the pink hair is-" Twilight was then shoved hard by a hand, sending her to the floor.

"Hi! I'm Pinkie Pie! But you can call me Pinkie! Everypony else in town calls me that! Oh! We should throw you a party! A big 'Welcome to Ponyville!' party! Filled with balloons and cake! Oh! Do you like cake?! Because I love cake! So do you? Huhuhu? Do ya do ya do ya?" Pinkie said at a speed of over thousands of miles per second.

"...W-What?" Barb asked, utterly confused and afraid, unable to catch what Pinkie had managed to say.

Just then, Twilight shoved Pinkie out of the way, an annoyed look on her face. "Ya, that's Pinkie. Ponyville's party planner supreme. A little bit crazy and hype at times, but she means well" Twilight said, pointing a thumb at Pinkie, whom was looking at the pair with a huge grin, waving a hand at them.

"Lastly, that's Fluttershy. As her name suggests, she's really shy. But get past that and she is the most caring mare you would probably ever meet" Twilight pointed a finger at Fluttershy, causing her to let out an "Eeep!" before hiding her face behind her long flowing pink hair.

Barb managed to process all the information she was given to her, smiling a warm smile at them. Sure, they were an odd bunch. But she couldn't help but smile at how welcoming they are.

Especially Spike.

...

'Spike'. The name echoed through her mind. She had no idea why, but he was just so....

...Alluring.

Just then, the door opened up, showing Spike carrying a metallic tray in his hands, upright and with a smile, looking all to much like a butler in Barb's eyes.

"Hey girls. Got your drinks" Spike said, his voice catching the attention of everyone in the room.

As well having the full attention of a certain girl.

Whoever he might truly be, she had one objective as of now.

And that is to find out as much as she could about the boy who had caught her eternal admiration.

The same boy who had managed to catch her heart.

"Oh no..."

View Online

Once Spike returned with the drinks, he quickly distributed them to their respective owners, placing the metal tray on the nearby table before grabbing his and sitting next to Barb in their little circle. "So...What were you girls talking about a while ago?" Spike asked, sipping on his orange juice. The girls merely looked at each other with a slight blush on their faces as they coughed awkwardly.

"Oh nothing much! Just introducing ourselves and Pinkie just being Pinkie" Twilight merely replied after she had composed herself, causing Spike's eyes to bulge.

"She scared her, didn't she?" he asked, earning a sigh as a reply, indicating that he was correct. "Oh well"

Just as he was about to take another sip at his drink, Barb stopped him with a question. "Umm...If it's too much to ask but, can you tell me more about yourself? Since your sister and friends already did so" she said, hiding her face just slightly with her hair. This is turn earned her a couple of giggles and a look from Dash and Pinkie, causing her to blush slightly. Spike looked at the girls with a weird look before sighing and reminding himself that they were probably acting like normal girls would, shrugging a little.

"Well...Sure I guess" Spike replied.

After that, Spike then took one more sip from his drink before placing it gently down on the metal plate, returning back to his place around the group. However, just as he was about to start, he burped out a large cone of green flames, causing Barb to help out in surprise, proceeding to hide behind Fluttershy. A little while after, the flames died out, causing a white scroll to appear and drop down onto Spike's lap.

"Whoops. I suppose that story would wait for now" he sheepishly said, grabbing the scroll.

Silence ensued for a moment as Spike began to undo the ribbon that was tied to keep the thing closed. Twilight then inched closer towards Barb as she began to explain what happened. "You see, Spike has dragon blood in him. And what you just saw was one of the many things he can do, which allows him to breath magic induced flames, which the color is different for those with dragon blood. Since you are sort of a replica, you too can do that, although you would probably need some work on that"

"Anyways, it allows him to send scrolls back and forth to one of Equestria's Princesses, Princess Celestia, which he call her 'mom', even though he really isn't her son". She chuckled a little. "Anyways, it's unpredictable of when he would burp out flames and like normal flames, he can also burn things with things. Although, he rarely does that and during the times he did was all on accident" Twilight educated Barb, causing her to hum in thought.

However, at that time, Spike dropped the scroll , causing everyone to stare at him for a moment. "Oh no...." He muttered, his eyes dilated and was visibly shaking a little, with small beads of sweat running down his face.

"What's the matter, Sugarcube?" Applejack asked, voicing out the concern of all the females in the room.

Spike coughed a little before he composed himself. "Oh nothing much. Other than the fact that MOM AND AUNT LUNA ARE COMING HERE IN TWO HOURS!!" Spike shouted, causing everyone's eyes to dilate as Twilight stood up in shock.

"THE PRINCESSES ARE COMING?!" She demanded, causing Spike to nod dumbly. "Oh no! We haven't even cleaned up the entire place! Oh what would she say?!" She paced back and forth around the room.

"Why are you worried?! I'm more worried that Mom is coming!! The last time she visited was a couple of years ago!! Why now all of a sudden?!" Spike questioned, which Twilight thought was directed towards her.

"Why are you asking me?!! I have no clue!! Oh dear! And even Princess Luna is coming!"

Everyone else in the room merely stayed quiet as they watched the two siblings continue to bicker among each other. Rarity decided to whisper to Barb to try and answer some of her unannounced questions. "They bicker like this quite a lot, darling. Trust me, I have a sister that I bicker with a lot as well"

"Question!" Pinkie announced, causing the two siblings to look at her in confusion and slight annoyance.

"WHAT?!" They both announced simultaneously, causing Pinkie to lower her arm, seemingly unfazed by their rather loud outburst.

"If the Princess are coming, can we help along?" Pinkie asked, cocking her head to the side with a finger on her lips, somehow managing to conjure a question mark on top of her head, which was surrounded by a white bubble.

Everyone merely looked at Pinkie in a mix of awe and fear. Pinkie merely looked up before rummaging through her bubbly pink hair and pulled out a safety pin. She then jabbed her hand towards the bubble, causing it to pop loudly and disappear entirely, which caused her to giggle afterwards.

".......Anyways.....That's a good idea. If we work together, we can make the place clean in no time!" Rainbow Dash announced, hovering above the floor with the help of her wings, striking a pose as if she were 'Wonder Mare'.

".....I suppose" Twilight started. "The rest of you girls have any problems with that?" She asked, earning a variety of "No"s. "Well then, we should probably start now. The Princess are probably on their way right now".

And with that, the group stood up and made their way downstairs first, where they would run down the plan of who was to do what. Barb hesitantly joined them, only to be insisted from the girls with reasons ranging from allowing her to see more of the treehouse to allowing her to get to know Spike more, which caused her to blush a little.

Just as they left, Spike placed down the letter on top of the metal tray before making his way down. The letter was open with the words reading;

"Dear Spike,

I hope you are doing well as of late. I am very sorry that over the past years I have not been able to visit you and Twilight. You know as to why. Just to keep this letter short, Me and your Aunt Luna would be coming over in about two hours tops. Consider it an apology for all the work and not enough time to spend with you.

From,
Your loving mother.
P.S I brought along those favorite cookies of yours. Take care my little Spikey"

"Alright everypony! Listen up! Princess Celestia and Princess Luna will be arriving here at the library in about 2 hours! Our mission is to make this place look spic and span for their arrival! Do I make myself clear!?" Rainbow Dash yelled in her best drill sergeant accent, causing the rest of her friends to cringe at the sudden outburst.

"Rainbow Dash...You don't have to yell. We already know that" Twilight replied with an unnamused look on her face.

Rainbow Dash shrugged her shoulders. "What? It sounded appropriate" She replied, biting the inside of her cheek.

"Appropriate?? Rainbow Dash, you just scared Barb!" Twilight told her, obviously angry at the rainbow maned female. True to her words, Barb was shaking in fear near a corner, where Spike and Fluttershy were comforting her, the rest of Twilight's friends looking over at them in worry. Besides Pinkie, whom was staring somewhere else.

"No silly! I'm looking at you!!" Pinkie, replied to the narrating voice in her head, whom sounds angry at her at the moment. Meanwhile her friends were now staring at her in a confused manner, obviously confused as to who she was addressing.

"...Anywho...As what sergeant air head over here has said" Twilight called out to the girls, pointing a thumb to Rainbow Dash, who was angry at the remark. "We'll need to act quickly before the princesses arrive. I'll assign different areas for all of us to clean" Twilight then looked over to Pinkie and Applejack. "Pinkie, Applejack, the two of you are in charge of sweeping the floors and if needed, use the mop for any sticky fluids. The duo then replied with an "Ok" of their own.

Twilight then looked over to Fluttershy and ushered her to come close to the group. Once she was near, she then gave orders. "Fluttershy, you and Rainbow Dash to help to pick up anything lying around. If need be, use the broom and the dust pan to collect them and throw them away" She said, causing Fluttershy to slowly nod her head and Rainbow Dash to roll her eyes.

"Rarity and I will use our magic to dust away any dirt in hard to reach areas such as the shelves and whatnot. Once your done, Rainbow I'd like you to keep an eye out for the princesses. If you want, you can also help out with the rest of us" Twilight pointed out, causing Rainbow to salute to her.

"What about me?" Spike voiced out his concern. He was still sitting next to Barb, who was holding onto him as if her dear life depended on it, her body still visibly shaking.

Twilight looked at the duo for a moment, placing crossing her arms and humming in thought. "I....don't really know" Twilight answered after a brief period of silence. In all honesty, with just the six of them, the entire library would be clean in no time.

"How about a trip round Ponyville? Barb looks like she can use a little fresh air" Pinkie asked, her question earlier on was surprisingly valid, considering the weird things she has suggested before. "Oh hush you!" She continued, looking up in the air and giggling for a moment.

"That....sounds perfectly fine" Rarity voiced out what would be the thoughts of the rest of the girls.

"Um...Hello? She's sort of a clone of me! It'll freak out everypony!" Spike exclaimed, raising his hands into the air for added emphasis.

"Sugercube....Ya do know that Ponyville often has weird things happenin'?" Applejack smugly replied, crossing her arms with a brow raised in question.

Spike raised a finger and opened his mouth to parry the question. But he couldn't do so, since what Applejack said was quite true. Ponyville was often filled with a variety of weird happenings over the years. Heck, he can even remember just a couple of days ago that Scootaloo nearly bursted into flames due to how fast she was going on her scooter.

"....Alright, I guess" Spike lowered his finger and shrugged, chewing on the inside of his cheek. "Hey Barb. Do you want to have a tour around Ponyville?" Spike asked, causing Barb to shake less and look at him worriedly for a moment. "It'll be fine" Spike assured her that it would all be fine and nothing to be worried about.

"I...g-guess..." Barb meekly replied, still clutching onto his shirt.

"Well, now that things are sorted, we should get started now" Twilight said. The rest of the girls nodded their heads in reply while Spike slowly helped Barb up, with him standing next to her as well.

"I guess we should get going now. We'll see you later in about an hour and half or so" Spike told the girls before walking to the door with Barb gripping one of his hands. As soon as the duo left the room, everyone, excluding Rainbow Dash, girlishly squealed in delight.

"Goodness gracious! Those two look so adorable!" Rarity said, a huge grin displayed on her face, causing everyone to giggle.

Meanwhile, Rainbow Dash was a little off further from the group, rolling her eyes from the display. "Oh give me a break..."

Meanwhile, onn the outside of the library, now stood Spike and Barb, the latter of the duo was now awestruck at the wonderful sight that was displayed in front of them. Barb had only been inside the library, where she had been very mystified at the entire layout of the place. And now, she was about to tour around the entire town of Ponyville, where surely more amazing things can be seen.

"W-Wow...!" Barb was left breathless. There were so many things happening at the moment. Different ponies were either chatting among one another, carrying different objects, different shops were opened, showcasing their items for sale. Truly a magical place, and this is only the beginning!

"Hehe. Wait till you see the rest of the town" Spike chuckled at the sight of her face filled with wonder. "Anyways, I guess this would be an appropriate time to say, 'Welcome to Ponyville!' " Spike exclaimed, grinning at Barb, who was slightly blushing. She giggled for a moment before thanking him.

"Th-Thank you! Umm...I'm sorry if I do anything weird later on..." Barb meekly said once more, twirling a finger around her long green hair.

Spike looked at her for a moment, completely confused at the statement. "Sorry? What for? Everyone in this town is weird to be honest, so you'll fit in just fine" Spike assured her once again, patting her on the shoulder and smiling warmly at her.

Barb stared at him for a moment, her cheeks flaring up. She tried to read his face for any signs of betrayal, only to find none. He truly was sincere with his words. And maybe she just might truly fit in. Barb returned the smile and giggled before pushing him away playfully. "Well, if that's the case, let's go then! I can't wait to see what else this town has to offer!" She exclaimed, pure excitement was boiling up inside of her.

Spike stared at her once again before grinning in return. He was slightly startled at first from the sudden volume in her voice, but it all melted into nothing as he could only see just how excited she really was. "Well then! I guess we should get started! Off to adventure!" Spike exclaimed, pointing a finger over to the distance.

Barb merely giggled at this, before saluting in response. "Yes sir!" she exclaimed, before giggling once again. The duo then, without hesitation, went into a full sprint, laughing alongside each other. Meanwhile, in the background, different ponies would merely look at the duo zip by, their laughter filling the air as they passed by them. But even so, they would only shake their heads and smile at the duo, before going back to what they were doing before.

"Here we are Barb! Sugarcube Corner! Home of the most delicious confectioneries you would ever taste in your entire life" Spike exclaimed, putting his arm out towards the building to introduce it to Barb.

Barb merely stood rooted in place as she looked over the gigantic building in front of her. She was once again awestruck by the beautiful building. The entire thing looked like a gingerbread house for goodness sakes! The detail put into it as well as the props on the roof made it look so edible to Barb, which made her mouth water. "Sooo...Coool..." Barb muttered as a single droplet of saliva fell on to the pavement.

"Hahaha! Like what you see, huh?" Spike asked, to which Barb nodded absentmindedly, still staring at the gigantic building. "Wait till you see the inside. You'll love it" Spike said, tugging on Barb's hand to pull her away from her stupor.

Spike turned the knob on the door and pushed it, entering the building with Barb in tow. There were a fair number of ponies sitting on their chairs, either alone or with friends. In front of the duo, there was a glass cased shelve displaying numerous confectioneries ranging from cupcakes to donuts to cakes. There were a couple of ponies whom had ordered something in front, to which they received their orders and went off their merry way.

"Hi Mr and Mrs Cakes!" Spike exclaimed, catching the attention of the married couple behind the counter, surprised by the sudden volume.

"Oh Spike! Hello there!" The guy with the light orange colored hair exclaimed in reply, smiling at Spike. He is known as Carrot Cake, or Mr Cake, for simplicity.

"Oh dear me! Hello Spike!" The female with light crimson colored hair replied. She is known as Cup Cake, or Mrs Cake.

Spike and Barb walked forward in front of the couple, with Barb hiding herself behind Spike, obviously shy towards the two of them. The couple seemed to notice the young female behind Spike, which piped their interest. "Why hello there. And who might this young lady be?" Mr Cake asked, cocking his head sideways in confusion.

"Her name's Barbara, or Barb for short. Hey Barb, why don't you say hi?" Spike asked, ushering Barb to go forth and greet the couple.

Being shy towards them, Barb slowly moved forth, with her head hanging low, fidgeting a little. "Umm...H-Hello..." She meekly replied, causing the married couple to chuckle at her shyness.

"Hello dear. I'm Cup Cake and this is my husband, Carrot Cake" Mrs Cake introduced herself and her husband. Though, after a while, she looked at her in confusion. "Say...I must ask, why does she look a lot like you, Spike?" Mrs Cake asked, causing Spike to sheepishly chuckle.

"Ehehehe....Err...To put it short, Twilight's newest spell backfired and now she's here" Spike awkwardly explained, causing the couple to chuckle.

"Is that so? Well, that must have been a weird experience then" Mr Cake commented, laughing heartily. This in turn, caused Barb to blush, due to the memory of their first encounter being not so pleasant in a way. "Anyways, since the both of you are here, what do you need?" He asked the duo, placing an arm on the counter.

"Well, Twilight planned on having me take Barb on a tour around the town. This is our first stop actually" Spike told them.

"If that's the case, let us whip up something special for this occasion. How about the two of you take a seat first?" Mrs Cake asked, causing Spike to nod his head, grabbing Barb's hand and gently tugging her along, with Mr and Mrs Cakes walking back into the kitchen.

After finding a good spot, the duo took a seat, with Barb sitting rather close to Spike, her still not wanting to remove her sight off the ground. She was still rather shy and quite frankly, Spike was still the only one she could really trust, besides his sister and friends. Then, not even a moment later, Spike caught her attention with a question. "So...How do you like things so far?" He asked, causing her to fidget in her seat.

"..I-It's fine...I'm just...really nervous" Barb replied, placing her face on the table.

Spike sighed and shook his head. "Really now. What did I tell you just now? You have nothing to worry about. Everyone here is really nice" He patted her shoulder, causing her to whine, much to his amusement.

"I'm just nervous...! There's a lot of new faces I've never met and new places I've never seen!" She shook her head in embarrassment, causing Spike to look at her with an unamused look. He tried to think of something to say but decided against it due to not wanting to make the situation any more worst for her.

After a while, Mr and Mrs Cakes emerged from the kitchen, holding a tray in their hands as they walked towards the duo. Spike was smirking at this point. The Cake's were notorious for making a really damn good first impression. Whatever they made would probably blow Barb's mind.

Figuratively, of course.

"Here you go! Some of our standard chocolate chip cookies with some bagels filled with a deluxe cream filling" Mrs Cake announced to the duo, as she placed down the tray. Next to her, her husband placed his tray, revealing two beverages in a tall glass with two straws. "As well as today's special drink, 'The Fruity Rainbow Supreme'. Made from freshly juiced fruits in a tasty cold beverage" She smiled. "Enjoy!"

And with that, she walked off with her husband in tow, the two of them sharing whispers and soft chuckles along the way. Meanwhile, Spike nodded in satisfaction. The married couple had once again made a damn good impression, seeing as how Barb was staring at the two trays as if the princesses had laid the greatest feast in pony history. Her pupils were so large that it looked as if they would pop off their sockets if they grew any bigger and her mouth was wide open, with a small trail of saliva dripping down her lips.

Spike had to chuckled yet again at her look of utter disbelief. But he had to reaffirm himself that the looks of these goods would not even come close to how amazing they would taste. He had seen the looks ponies had given when they tried these delicacies for the first time. Readjusting himself in his seat, he snapped his fingers, which managed to get Barb off her trance. "Well, what are you waiting for? Go ahead!" He ushered the tray towards Barb.

With slight hesitation, Barb picked up a single cookie and took a bite. Almost immediately, her eyes shrank to the size of a pinprick, with her mouth slightly agape, curved to form an 'o'.

"Sooo....How does it taste..??" Spike asked in a little teasing tone, which earned him no response. He cocked his head, a brow raised. Odd.

"Helloooo? You in there Barb?" Spike asked. After a short silent period, Barb muttered something incoherent.

"Th-...eat..-ing...ever..." She muttered, with Spike barely hearing any real sentences.

"Come again?" Spike asked.

In one motion, Barb swallowed the cookie piece she ate. At that moment, once she was done, she took in a deep breath and yelled out loud, at the top of her voice, "THIS IS THE GREATEST THING EVER!!". With that, she began to shake in her seat in excitement, a huge grin on her face, with the half eaten cookie still in her hand.

Spike sighed in relief. So it wasn't a bad thing after all. Thank goodness for that. And so, slumping into his seat, Spike reached out and grabbed a piece for himself and took a bite himself. It would probably be better if he didn't disturb her in her sudden revelation of what would soon be the 'greatest thing ever' by her standards. But to be perfectly honest, their chocolate chip cookies were extremely addictive.

After a while, Barb managed to get over her hype and began to act a little bit more 'normal'. And by 'normal' meaning stuffing her face with cookies, all the while making "Om nom nom" sounds and wagging her tail back and forth, that Spike had found to be extremely cute. For the rest of the ponies that were in the building, they merely looked at the duo, shaking their heads and chuckling at the sight. It was cute seeing something like that happen.

"Oh..."

Spike looked visibly surprised when Barb had gently laid a finger on his lips, a gentle smile on her face. "...I won't get angry..." She spoke in a hushed tone. After that, she sat up right on Spike, whom was still pinned to the ground. She was fidgeting in place and a small blush was now visible on her face. "...I...Don't mind actually. So..." She said, looking at him with eyes that seemed to longed for something.

Spike could only stare at her in surprise, a blush visible on his face as well. Just how in the world did he manage to get into this situation? Pinned to the wooden floor by a cute girl with a hand dangerously close to her...

...

...Wait what?!

Spike did a double take and, indeed, found one of his dangerous close to her left breast. His face suddenly turned Crimson red as he began to sputter out incoherent words left and right, trying to salvage the situation. Though, despite this, he couldn't help but feel a strange sense of Déjà Vu.

Just how in the world did this happen?

"Barb! Come on! We're in serious trouble if we're late!" Spike yelled as he had suddenly got out of his seat and went straight to the front door of Sugarcube Corner. Noticing Barb whom was still in a daze from the melted chocolate in her mouth, he rushed over to her and dragged her by the wrist. "There's not much time! We have to hurry!"

Pulling her along, he had managed to produce a few bits from his pocket and threw them across the room towards Mr Cake, who grabbed them in surprise. Once this was done, he hurried along through the front door, turning his head back to the married couple. "Sorry for the short notice Mr and Mrs Cakes! We'll see you soon!" He exclaimed before turning back, failing to see the duo chuckle at him.

"Umm...! Wh-Why are we running?" Barb asked as she was continuously pulled along by Spike, holding her head as if there were an invisible hat. Her hair was waving along behind her like some majestic shade of purple streak.

"While you were happily eating..!" Spike yelled as he continued to run. "...I received a small note from Twilight saying that Mom was on her way!"

Barb looked at him as if he were lying but then remembered what Twilight had told her . His mother, although not biological, was one of the two Princesses of Equestria, Princess Celestia. Or...Was it Princess Celestial? She couldn't quite recall.

Luckily for them, the duo had reached the Library in the nick of time, where they saw the rest of the girls waiting outside. "Hey! We came as fast as we could!" Spike exclaimed, slowing down his pace as he and Barb had reached the group. The duo panted heavily as there was sweat glistening on their faces.

"Glad you made it. Hurry up! Rarity managed to finish a nice dress for Barb and you two really need to change. Despite Princess Celestia being your mom, it's still kinda rude" Twilight said, chuckling a little before her hands glowed purple, enveloping the door with the same magical glow.

She nudged the duo into the building before closing the door with her magic. Just before Spike could go back outside to ask where Barb's dress was at, Pinkie popped out of the door that was still glowing purple. "It's in the main bedroom, Spikey! Hurry hurry!" She exclaimed, flicking her wrist in a 'Now go' motion.

Spike ran up the stairs, his hand still held onto Barb's. The duo had entered the main bedroom, which looked much more tidier than before and found a dress laid neatly on the blue bed. It was a knee-long dress, emerald in colour with a few stripes running horizontally at the chest region. Aside from that, there were a few lavender flowers situated around the neck area.

Spike smirked. When worked under pressure, Rarity was capable of tripling her outputs, so it was no surprise to see it finished under a short span of time.

"Alright, go change. I need to fetch a brand new set of clothes to wear first" Spike said as he walked towards the nearby dresser and reached out to the lowest drawer, where it was filled with his clothing. Grabbing a clean set, a plain purple shirt with dark blue pants,he walked out the door and went to the bathroom to change, leaving Barb to change alone.

Needless to say, Spike was done dressing and went back, only to find Barb having a hard time in wearing the dress. The lavenders around the neck of the dress made it hard for her neck to squeeze through. Hearing the door opened, Barb turned around and wobbled in place. "Umm...H-Help...?" She asked in a pitiful tone.

Spike, being the ever so gentle guy that he was, sighed before tossing aside his old clothes. He could pick it up later anyways. Walking over to Barb, he tug the dress downwards. "Well...darn...This will be hard" He commented on how tough it was. After a few more attempts, he was getting frustrated due to having no progress made.

"Alright Barb. I will tug downwards and you must push your head upwards. It should be enough to stretch the neck for your head to pass" Spike said, earning a nod from underneath the dress. Counting down from three to one, Spike then tugged downwards while Barb did as was told.

However, unfortunately for Barb, she had missed her footing and had accidentally stepped on her foot, tripping and toppling forward onto Spike, who was surprised by the sudden motion, causing him to fall backwards due to their combined weight.

Spike sighed. Now he remembered how they had gotten into this awkward position. Closing his eyes and removed any negative thoughts, he opened them and stared at the emerald orbs in front of him. Awkwardly, he wrapped his arms around her waist, the blush on his face turning a much more darker shade. Just like what she asked for.

Despite his face feeling very hot, he couldn't help but feel calm as he felt Barb hum in his grasp. She had suddenly placed her hands on his shoulders as she crooned on his neck, acting very like a cat aside from the no evident purring sounds.

However, the duo had flinched when they suddenly heard the door open as the sounds of footsteps entered the room. The duo looked over the door and found themselves facing the girls along with two other individuals, whom Spike knew and suddenly dreaded.

As for Barb, she couldn't help but feel enthralled by their looks. The one on the left was wearing a pearl white silk dress with an image of a sun printed on one side with a few evident amethyst gems on her dress. In addition, she was wearing a golden crown that had an amethyst gem in the middle with other gemstones around it, a large golden necklace with even more gemstones, a few golden bracelets on her right hand. Her hair was free flowing on its own with the colours of the rainbow present, seemingly ethereal looking.

The one next to her was slightly shorter and was wearing a navy blue dress with a picture of a silver moon printed on one side. Just like the taller individual, she also wore a crown, although onyx in colour and had a large diamond in the middle, navy blue bracelets with a variety of gemstones and an equally large onyx necklace with diamonds situated around it. Her hair was also free flowing, navy blue in colour and seemed to glisten with the colour silver, as if it were the night sky.

The two individuals gawked at both Barb and Spike, who merely looked at them with a poker face. However, Barb's face was much more red than Spike's.

Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, the taller figure spoke in a motherly tone. "Oh...Ahem...We do apologise for intruding your private moment, son" She said, her cheeks turning slight pink.

"No wait! I can explain!" Spike called out, trying to salvage the situation.

Pinkie, who was at the back of the group, started laughing out loudly, alongside Rainbow. "Wowieee! This will be fun! Fun! Fun! Fun!" She exclaimed, causing the rest of the group to cough awkwardly as Barb had suddenly fainted on top of Spike due to embarrassment.

"Oh my goodness she is absolutely adorable!" The tall woman clad in a pearl white silk dress crooned as she rubbed cheeks with Barb, causing her to feel absolutely anxious around her. "You have the same hair colour, same complexity, same eye colour..." She went on to describe the things that were apparent with Barb. It wasn't helping her situation that another one was doing the same on her other cheek.

"Absolutely, dearest sister! Oh my stars, I have never heard of a cloning spell going awry and causing this kind of situation, but luck so happens to leave such an adorable clone of our beloved nephew!" The slightly shorter woman, whom was in a navy blue silk dress, rubbed her cheek on Barb as well, effectively squishing Barb's face and causing her to make a weird kissy face.

Everyone else in the room was looking at the two princess with a weird look on their faces, except Pinkie and Rainbow Dash whom were laughing their asses off. Twilight, who was next to Spike, leaned over to him and whispered to him, "Whenever I'm gone....Do the Princesses do this often to you?". Her voice was that of worry.

Spike leaned in and replied in a soft tone, "You have no idea Twilight...". Spike looked up to Twilight and gave her a shrug before looking back at the event that was happening at the moment.

After a quite lengthy pause, Twilight coughed out loud to grab everyone's attention in the room. "So...Umm...Princess Celestia, Princess Luna. It's so wonderful for the two of you to come and visit" Twilight said with a cheerful tone, smiling warmly. The two Princesses stopped their antics for a moment before coughing as well and straightening out their composure.

"Yes indeed, my faithful student. Work has been piling up as of late for both me and my sister. So we had the thought of taking a small break to let us cool down" The taller of the two sisters, Princess Celestia, replied with her trademark motherly tone.

"Indeed, dear sister. Besides, our other dead nephew did look as though he needed some work to do" The younger one, Princess Luna, added with a giggle, causing Princess Celestia to chuckle as well. After that, she looked over to Twilight and smiled. "We do hope we are not intruding the household"

Twilight immediately replied with a small laugh. "Oh! No no! In fact, we're all glad you came. It has been quite a while since the both of you came to Ponyville"

"And it seems as though the spell that I had given you is working as intended. Although, more remarkable than I had ever imagined" Princess Celestia laughed as she ruffled Barb's green hair, causing her to squirm a little. "I had not know that the spell could backfire. But, the results is quite impressive" She added.

Twilight sheepishly laughed at the statement. "Ahahaha....Umm....Yea. About the spell. I honestly had no idea why it backfired. Though, I was more surprised when the spell had accidentally struck Spike instead of my intended target".

There was a small silence that reigned in the room for a moment. Princess Celestia was still rubbing Barb's head, who seems to be enjoying the moment due to her tail wagging and closed eyes, while Princess Luna was admiring the adorableness of the little lady. That was, until Barb's eyes immediately turned wide eyed and looked at Princess Celestia. "Umm....I sort of forgot...But...Who are you again..?" She asked in a sheepish, yet innocent tone, which caused Spike and Twilight to grumble and everyone else to laugh.

Princess Celestia stopped laughing and smiled. "My name is Princes Eleana Celestia. Or as what my little ponies call me, Princess Celestia" She said in a soothing tone. "I, along side with my sister, rule along the whole of Equestria and their inhabitants as the Princess of the Sun" She smiled radiantly at Barb.

Princess chuckled for a moment before smiling as well. "And I am Princess Estelle Lunaris. Also commonly called as Princess Luna". Princess Luna puffed out her chest a little, feeling proud of the title her ponies call her. "And as what my sister had said, I, along side with her, rule Equestria as the Princess of the Moon"

"I do hope that clears out any questions" Princess Celestia smiled and laughed. "Oh! And I have almost forgotten! You can call me mother if you wish to do so and my sister as your Aunt. Just like what my little Spikey calls me~" Princess Celestia added, causing Spike to groan in agony, not from any actual pain, but from his mother's words.

"Mom...Please don't...." Spike croaked out as he had facepalmed himself with a loud slap.

"Oh don't be silly dear nephew. Since she is technically you, she is able to call us that" Princess Aunt told Spike in a sort of reprimanding tone. Her sister, who was on the left side of Barb, nodded her head rapidly, agreeing fully to her words of wisdom.

"Umm...Ok...Mom" Barb meekly said out, causing the two Princesses to squeal as they began to cuddle their new-sort-of family member. Barb, whom was caught in the crossfire, could only let out a squeak as she was bear hugged by the two Princesses iron grip. She was signalling Spike to help her with eyes that started to water.

Noticing it, Spike voiced out his concern. "Umm...Mom, Aunt, I think you're gonna break her"

Hearing that, the two Princesses looked down and noticed the pained expression of Barb's face. They immediately let go, causing Barb to frantically get up and make her way to Spike, walking behind him and using him as a sort of shield. She was giving the two Princesses rather strong glare, which caused the two Princesses to sheepishly chuckle.

"Ahaha....I think we have underestimated out strength in the hug, dear sister" Princess Luna looked at her sister with a sheepish smile.

"Haha...I do think so too" Princess Celestia replied in an embarrassed tone.

Twilight and the gang all laugh, along with the Two Princesses as they all looked at how Spike tried to coax Barb into letting go of her grip on his shirt, which she was unwilling to do so. Spike sighed knowing that it was no use talking her out of it, so he immediately stopped and let her continue, which was slightly annoying as the grip was pulling his shirt really tightly.

"Anyways, would you like anything to drink?" Twilight politely asked after her laugh.

"Oh yes please. I would like some tea, Earl Grey please" Princess Celestia told her choice of beverage.

"Just a glass of water for me" Princess Luna quickly replied.

"Alright then. I'll be back in a bit" Twilight said as she got up from her chair and walked out of the room. Once she was gone, the two Princesses smiled at Barb.

"Do tell, Barb. How do you like Ponyville?" Princess Luna asked, quite interested in knowing how well she has been doing over the past few hours.

"Umm...Ponyville is really amazing, actually. There's a whole bunch of individuals I have never seen and so many tall buildings!" Barb replied, her glee was slowly rising, which was evident in her voice. "Oh! And Spike took me to a place called....Umm...Sugarcube Corner! We had so many yummy treats to eat over there! And the couple were so nice!" Barb exclaimed, her eyes seemed to sparkle as she remembered the events just a few moments ago. Though, once she had realized her actions, she gave off a small yelp and proceeded to hide behind Spike yet again.

The two Princess laughed along side with the rest of the gang. Pinkie looked by far the most excited out of the bunch. "Wowzers! So what did you eat? A sundae? A caramel fudge bar? The Cake's signature chocolate and vanilla cake?!" Pinkie exclaimed, listing down the various things the Cakes sold.

"Some chocolate chips and really creamy bagels! And they also served a really amazing drink with lots of fruity flavor!" Barb immediately responded.

Spike, who was not paying too much attention, had noticed that Barb had now instantaneously moved closer to Pinkie and the two of them proceeded to talk about really sweet treats, ranging from muffins, to pie's, to ice cream. The sort of things that one would expect Pinkie to eat at Sugarcube corner. Spike chuckled for a moment before noticing both Princess Celestia and Princess Luna were walking closer towards him, a look on their faces that one would describe as 'Run for the hills', a huge grin plastered on their face.

He could only gulp and hope that nothing bad happened to him
