Hi, I'm Lean and this is my horse , Waterfall . When chaos descends on my home town , I have to find a way to stop it.
!Hi , I'm Lean . Have you notice stranges things in the sky? A Delayed sunrise , a rainbow coloured line traveling across the sky very fast to name a few. I've always wondered what was 'It' that caused our lovely land , Choria, to be the last strong hold of humans on their native planet. And what's beyond the Border . No human has been beyond it in 4.5 million years . And if they had , they never came back. Also I love horses . This is my horse . Her name is Waterfall . When chaos descends on my home town of Qunlopa caused by someone called himself 'Discord',who said he came from " a place beyond what we call the Border" I and my horse set off on a journey to find someone to help us stop him .

Have you ever looked at the sky? If you look day after day , night after night , you will notice strange things . Delayed sunrises , by six hours ( well everyone notices that) a rainbow colour line traveling across the sky , twice, a cotton candy cloud filled with chocolate milk ( I shot it down with my rope gun , it was delicious) , rainbow colour ribbons like the northern lights across the sky for a month (everyone ,even Wasa was happier that month ) .
I have a theory on these strange happenings . They come from beyond the border . No human for 4.5 million years has gone beyond the Border . Their are humans on Mars, Dunas and across the Galaxy but when 'It' happened all contact disappeared . I don't know what 'It ' was but whatever happened us earth bound humans were trapped in a 1500 KM radius circle of land .
No human went beyond the Border in many a year because no one even with our knowledge in science from the smallest atom to the biggest galaxy we've given up on the rest of our planet EXCEPT our sweet land of Choria , the last know stronghold of humans on their home planet.
I live in Qunlopa , a small town near the Border. My dad's a farmer in the green chambers and my Mom's a librarian . I attend Gangnam school . I'm in ninth class. I am a normal human teenager. My best friends are Keel , Utopia and Cuty .
Now I heading towards the stables . Their are three things I'm crazy about :
1. What's beyond the border,
2. What was 'It' . I know both of them are connected some how .
3. Horses. I have a horse . Her name is Waterfall. She has a white coat and blonde mane and tail.
Water meets me with a nose rub, looking for oats or apples. I gave her some oats and I prepare for a ride.
Later, in the daisy plain, I sat down on the grass , taking a break. I took out my lunch, with was a Tuna roll, a red banana and some water. Water was grazing nearby.

In the distance , a cloud of dust was forming. A black mounted horse was coming out of it . The horse stopped and its rider jumped off. "Hi, Cuty. What's this mysterious surprise you've got?" I said.
"This" . She opened up her T.I.B and open up something ." I was looking at Google and managed to turn on a 5 million year old satellite " . Google is a ancient search engine. It's 5 million years old . Cuty and me use it to research about the past and find out how they lived and stuff. They had ' emails, YouTube , Horn and Twitter'. No one except cyberlogists and us know about it.
"How did you managed that?"
"Hacking and stuff, any way this satltilite takes pictures of the globe so I think we might be able to see what the world's like beyond the Border." She opened up a thing called 'google earth ' and immediately it zoomed in on us. She did some thing and non existing roads and towns came up.
"La-bra-dour city , a city named after a dog breed ..." I cried because it was so funny!
"Not funny, that city had people in it and their ghost are problemly right here listening to our conversation. Would YOU like if they laughed at Choria . Ok , look there, it's the Border, I think ."
I zoomed out and looked at looked at a sight. Borders where it was just sea, mountains in plains . I zoomed in on the middle of a land mass. I notices a mountain with a city on its side . I looked at the strange city. It had cobbled streets , gold and white buildings and strangely colour things with a stripe down their back sides( I think) on the streets , on the rooftops, everywhere.
What are they I thought . It must be a civilisation of sorts. Not humans ,sadly. But they are out there. It's like aliens living next door. Do they know about us, are they the reason 'It' happened or was it just evolution. I don't know but I MUST know more about them.
'Hey Lean , strawberry picking starts in 1 hour" . That must be my T.I.B . It's my phone, tablet and watch in one amazing device. It's attached to the back of my neck and project an image into the air in front of me . I call and mind people and search the web using it.
"Hey Cuty, wanna go to the strawberry picking ?"
"'K , but only if I get one quarter of your strawberries!"
"Hello, Lean , what did you do today? Did you go to the strawberry picking ?"
That's Siri. Every house has one . She a computer system that makes sure that everything right and talks to you. She doesn't clean because of it's been proven that if Siri cleans a home , the people become obese , usually .
"Yes , I did . It was great. Is their any balsamic vinegar ?"
"Yes , their is , but very little. Will I order some?"
"No, we will survive ."
10 minutes later...
"What is the amazing sauce you put the strawberries in ?"
"It's top secret " . They will never know that it's just balsamic vinegar (I got it from Google). We continued to eat the ice cream and strawberries .
" Ok, so what's up, Lean , you said you had big news" said Keel.
"I well Cuty got this thing called 'Google Earth ' and anyway I founded signs of civilisation . But I can't say what the creatures are ." I said showing them a picture. " Any ideas?"
"Maybe their aliens who had a massive battle with humans but allowed us to stay here anyway" suggested Keel.
"Then , why haven't we gone beyond the Border?" I said .
"Ok , that's probably not it." He admitted .
"I think it's evolution sped up or something like that" said Utopia.
"Maybe their a normal species that became more intelligent, like wolfs or horses "
That night I had a dream. First I was in a woods and their was this horse , all white, no eyes, no mouth , no mane or tail, stalking me . Half ways through he changed into a human wearing an old fashioned suit with no facial features. When he began to stare at me, the scene suddenly changed to bed room I had a terrible head ache . Sirens were sounding telling people to evacuate to 'Labrador or Newfound's land ' because of - then I woke up. I was covered in sweat and hyperventilating .
I looked around my room . Everything was in place - wait a sec I don't own that plush toy. It had a goat's head, a lion paw and body parts from other animals. Creepy. I'll investigate in the morning , but for now sleeeepp.
" I didn't know there's a train going through the Everfree forest ," said Rarity.
The bearers of the elements , Applejack , Fluttershy , Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash , Rarity and Twilight Sparkle , Spike and for some unknown reason Lyra Heartstrings were on a train through the Everfree Forest. Princess Celestia had send them on a mission to find Discord , and if needed turn him back to stone. She had a tracking spell on him but a week ago he disappear off her map. They mission was to go to his last known location , beyond the Everfree.
" I think this train is heading to Zebrafrica ," replied Twilight.
Why did Celestia send Lyra with us ? thought Twilight . There is no reason a expert on 'humans' is needed. They don't even exist. I wonder... But Princess Celestia knows what she is doing so I might as well not question her actions.
Pitter , patter.Pitter , patter , pitter , patter ,pitter , patter. Ah, nothing better than rain falling outside with rosy light caused by faded pink curtains. I tried to sleep in , but curiosity for the strange plush toy won. I got up to look at the toy but surprise, surprise, it had disappear . Instead , pale yellow crumbs covered my floor. When I tasted some of these crumbs , I realised that they were cheese puff crumbs. I don't eat cheese puffs. I hate cheese puff. Full stop.
I opened up my T.I.B. and looked up Gangnam . I search random things on 'Google' and hope for the best all the time. A video came up called 'Gangnam Style '. I clicked on it and the next four minutes were mind blowing . So full of explosives and lasers and gasps and me going like "what is he even saying?" I'm have to show this to the others.
In the silence that follow , I heard the rain hitting against the window and SLURPING . I should NOT be hearing that. I should be hearing groans and moans , not SLURPING and shouts of glee. I decided to look out the window.
A pinkish-grey sky with a brown liquid raining down on Qunlopa. I sense of déjà vu took over. I was in the daisy plain looking at the sky. I saw a lone pink cloud not moving in the wind. It looked like a child drew it. When a bird crashed into it , falling to the ground , encased in a sticky pink cocoon , I shot it down with my rope gun. I discovered it was made of cotton candy and filled with chocolate milk. I minded Cuty to come and the rest is history.
I went to my dresser and got a glass . I opened my window and put the glass outside . When it had filled up half ways I put it up to my lips and took a sip. Heavenly chocolaty goodness filled my mouth and trickled down my throat.
I ran to the square as fast as I can . I was drenched in chocolate milk and shivering. Why wasn't it hot chocolate ? A blur of white ,brown , and pink flashed by me until I bumped into somebody. A girl with light green and white hair was sprawled on the ground in front of me. " Are you ok?" I asked .
She looked up and well, was annoyed for some reason , confused and some other emotions I could not comprehend. " Ya , are you ? My name's Lyra by the way . What's yours ?"
"Mm, ya , my name's Lean and I'm in a hurry. Can't you see it's raining chocolate milk?"
"Must be Discord,"she mumbled .
"What do you mean as in Discord?"
"Forget about that."
"Who's Discord? And how do you know about him?" I taped search and looked up 'discord'. A cartoon character from 2000's A.D. ( That is for your information is 5 million years ago) and a dictionary meaning came up. It meant 'disagreement ' or ' lack of harmony ' . I ignored the cartoon character completely . I looked at my T.I.B.. It was one o' clock . I grabbed her hand and ran the last 100 meters to the town square .
It had transformed. The usual colourful fronts of the shops and town hall had been upstaged by the park. A brown mount spewing melted chocolate all over the grass and throwing a pink fluffy substance . A golden throne was on top of all this stuff. And on that was a creature just like the plush toy in my room last night. He had a lion paw, a bat and bird wing, an eagle claw . It was the strangest creature I've ever seen. Next to the mini volcano-throne thing was a ginger bread house.
"Hey, Lean who's with you?" shouted a familiar voice. I saw Cuty and Utopia 10 meters away.
"Someone who claims to know what's going on." I replied, "who calls herself Lyra -"
"Heartstrings ."
"Ok, so anyway I've no idea what going on but I think that weird guy with the lion paw and stuff is behind it all. Agreed?"I said pointing at the individual on the throne .
"Agreed." Cuty and Utopia replied.
"Hey , you." I shouted at the guy (just like what any idiot would do in a situation like this), waving my hands wildly.
"Yes," he said , somehow moving his throne 10 meters in front of me.
"Who are you , where are you from and what do you think your doing? " I said boldly .
" I'm Discord and I am from ... lets just said I'm from where you call ' beyond the Border', and I'm bored so I'm creating chaos like I always do! Bwahahahah. burp!" He replied . A shower of jelly beans fell from the sky like lightning except it was jelly beans instead of dangerous high voltage lightning ( much safer for kids!) " And if you don't mind I've got a meeting to attended " he said as he dived into the chocolate lake below.
That guy is ... So RANDOM! And creepy and scary. I'm scared because the way he said it and everything , shouts "Enteral chaos!". I don't want that, I want peace and normality . Stability . Full stop.
In the corner of I saw Keel on the other side of the square talking to Wasa, our year head in second school. "Hey , Keel!" I shouted . But he said something and a train came and killed Wasa. He just smiled. Does 'Discord' also do possessions as well?! I hope not but I think he does .
The next thing I said has been said by millions who are in a tight spot like this to others. When I saw him walk towards us , I shouted " RUN!" I sprinted back home with Utopia , Cuty and Lyra on my tail.
Five minutes later...
"What just happened?"
We were in my room , recovering from the chaos outside. It was raining plush cats and dogs and chocolate milk. Cuty , Utopia and Lyra were on my couch while I was pacing up and down my room.
"I have no idea . All I know is Keel is possessed, Lyra knows stuff about Discord, it's raining chocolate milk and all something to do with Discord and the border. Lyra, who's discord and why are YOU here, out of all the places on earth?!"
"Ok. I'm from a country called Equestria. I lived in a town called 'Ponyville' with Bon Bon, my room mate. In that town also, their are Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash , Fluttershy, Rarity and Princess Twilight Sparkle who are the elements of harmony. This is the only weapon known of that can defeat Discord. Two years ago , Discord came and made chaos. But they defeated him and encased him in stone. Last year, they managed to make him good BUT only last week our ruler , Princess Celestia sent me and the elements to track him down. We came so far until Twilight got a letter that said that she was needed in Canterlot , the capital of Equestria with her friends . She teleported them there and I continued on . When I got here it was raining chocolate milk. And that's my story"
We never laughed so hard ."Ok , you're kidding , Right ! I mean like oh, I'm Lyra and I'm a magical ho-no unicorn from horsey land and I make rainbows AAALLL day. " I said while prancing around the room . Another fit of laughing came from Utopia and Cuty.
Lyra's face said otherwise. "Not, funny. We have a mmmm, big equine tradition back home. Ye, mmm, I mmm won a prize, ya , Olympic medal. It just happens that those two town have those names." She said. She looked like she's lying.
"Ok, I was just having some fun.And I believe you. Ok, there is only ONE solution to this."
3 hours later...
"There." I picked up the newly made T.I.B. out of the 3-D printer. "Here you go , Lyra . I still can't believe that you don't have all this stuff in 'Equestria'." I said.
She held it in her cupped hands ."How do I use it , by the way?"
"Give it to me" . I held the small, metal object in my hands. I put it at the back of her neck. It automatically attracted to the back of her neck. I pressed the 'on ' button."There just follow the on-screen instructions and there , you can do whatever you like then" I said.
"Ok, I'll try."Lyra replied.
I finished packing my bag. Two months supplies of food, check. Pop-up tent, check. Spare clothes , check. Other essentials , check.
"Is Waterfall ready, Cuty ?"I asked .
"Yes, she's ready when your ready."
"Good, the faster I go, the faster Discord's gone. Remember, if I don't reply to any minds , go straight after me , ok?" I said while walking out the door.
"Ok, good luck!" Lyra, Utopia and Lyra shouted as I mounted my horse. And I galloped into the chocolaty sunset. My adventure had begun.
Lyra look at the holograph in front of her. What to to do , what to do. "Search, apple." She said. Cuty said you could voice search on this T.I.B. And why 'apple', well it was neutral . If she looked up something else she would have no idea what could come up.
"On 'Voyage' or 'Google', Lyra."
The feminine voice startled her, but she realised that it came from her earphones.
"Google, please."
Almost immediately the results came up. It was a company that made 'iPads , iPhones and iSees' . Wow, she thought , that was unexpected. What about..
"Search, Twilight."
A book and movie about vampires and werewolves came up. But she notices that there was 'twilight sparkle' in the related searches.
"Search, twilight sparkle".
Her heart skipped a beat went she saw the results.

"Let's get to business ."
In the ginger-bread , next to the melted chocolate volcano throne thingy, a very important meeting was taking place. At this meeting , the daily dose of chaos was going to be decided on. Seven Discord clones were gathered around a giant lollipop table. Each had a T.I.B. and were looking up stuff.
"Ok, the trains idea was very successful , so any new , original ideas anyone?" Said Discord No.1.
"Yes, what about... trampoline roads and mint flavoured grass."said Discord no.2.
"And annoying oranges-"said Discord No.3.
"And rivers of jelly."
"Ok, that's enough for the day. Meeting dismissed. Same time tomorrow?"asked Discord No.1.
They agreed and left the tasty building. A few minutes later, all the chaotic changes were made.

The drum of her hooves calmed me. It always does but makes me feel like an ancient Queen , riding into battle or a rider at the Olympics, an ancient competition . Anything can happen on a horse.
I watched the scenery past me by. Greys, browns, blues ,pinks and greens. Calming my worried soul. Trying to forget the rain, Keel, all my worries. But it's not working. How will I defeat Discord? What happened to Keel? The train confused me. Did he summoned it? Or did it just happened? But I know it was something to do to with Discord ? And anything with Discord's means what's beyond the border. Lyra gave me some info but I have a feeling that she forgot some big. Like strange customs or something like that.
I decided to mind search Google because it might help and find me some answers. Voyager is not old and wise of enough for me. Google search, [picture of Keel with train]. A video came up called 'I like trains.' With a picture of a animated boy sitting on the front of an animated train with colours radiated from it. How's that supposed to help me? I watch it anyway.
2:11 minutes later...
That answers how the train appeared. He must have said "I like trains". Which has Discord written all over it. He must have gotten a T.I.B. and looked up ways to wreck chaos. But who's? I mean its only Cuty, Utopia , Keel- KEEL. he must have stole it off him. And there's more. He could find tons of other videos which have crazy ideas like that.
By now I've reached the far side of the Daisy Plain with the river Sondy snaking across the land. My plan is to follow the Sondy , beyond the border and find the elements of harmony which Lyra said could defeat Discord and well, defeat him.
But first ,a break. I unmount Water and I give her some oats. I got an orange , a sandwich and a bottle of water out of my bag. I sat down on the grass and began to eat my sandwich.
