Applejack woke up this morning with cloud hanging over her head. She walked to the Zap Apple trees with her head hanging low and looked up as one fell to the ground. Big Mac saw it in her eyes and he too remembered the sad memory that each season harnessed. Knowing she wouldn't want to talk about it, he went back to work bucking the apples down. She remembered all too well how the timber wolves had taken her mother away one Zap Apple season never to be seen again. She had fought so hard and so had their father, but as she was crushed under its claw father knew there was no hope and began to sob. They munched her up right before their young filly eyes. Applebloom was just a baby inside with Granny Smith. That night their father left with out saying goodbye and they lived with Granny every since. Applejack looked towards her brother then back at the trees. She began to kick them down too so she could distract herself for awhile.
When lunch came around Applejack sat in a ditch eating her sandwich. She couldn't help thinking about her mother and father. She wished she could talk about it with someone, but no one would understand. Big Mac was there, but neither of them ever wanted to bring it up. They were afraid Applebloom would hear and that is something she didn't need to know about. Granny Smith had told Applebloom they had died in a cart crash. As much as Applejack hated keeping secrets from her little sis, she knew it was best for her not to know the truth. A tear ran down Applejack's cheek and she couldn't eat anymore. She gave her sandwich to Winona and she ran off with it.
"Oh, what am I gonna do? I can't mope around all the time! I never get anything done."
Her hat came off her head and she looked up to see Rainbow Dash holding it in her mouth. She put it on her head.
"Hey where you been? I thought we were gonna do some racing today."
Rainbow looked at Applejack and saw that she was crying.
"AJ what's wrong? Are you all right? I wasn't going to steal your hat forever, I promise!" "It ain't my hat Rainbow, I'm just sad about somethin' is all." "Well what is it?"
Rainbow sat next to her and put her arm around her.
"Come on you can tell me AJ, were best buds."
Applejack's side tingled where Rainbow's hoof lay she looked down at it.
"AJ?" "Sorry, it's just my maw I miss her an awful lot." "You never told anypony what happened to your parents." "Well it was them timberwolves!" "Oh, Applejack I see. The Zap Apples.." "Yes, Zap Apples bring Timberwolves."
Rainbow Dash was determined to cheer up Applejack. She was her best friend, but she did care about her a little more than that. She was totally awesome! Rainbow Dash put her hoof under Applejack's chin.
"Applejack"
Applejack's heart was racing. Why am I feelin' like this?
"Uhh yes Rainbow?" "Let's do something to cheer you up. How 'bout a race? You know to distract yourself" "Yeah sure. I guess."
They both took their positions and began to run to the farthest most field. Once they got there they sat down and decided to talk some more.
"Hey Applejack?" "Yeah RD?" "Do you like mares?"
Rainbow looked at the ground a little. Applejack was launched into a big ball of confusion and questions running through head. She wasn't really sure how to respond and couldn't make up her mind. Is that why she got all tingle around Rainbow? Was there something wrong with her? How did she feel about Rainbow? She needed to answer her question, but how could she do it truthfully? She didn't know the true answer.
Great I probably freaked her out. Way to go Rainbow Dash. You're so stupid. She's gonna think you are so weird now! Ughhh! I have to fix this somehow.
"You don't have to answer AJ. I didn't mean to make things awkward." "It's alright Rainbow I just don't really know I guess"
"Hey Rainbow Dash!"
They both looked up.
"Oh, hey scoots." "Hey Rainbow I almost didn't recognize in Applejack's hat." "Oh, yeah. Here you go AJ. So what's up?" "I just thought I'd say hi. Applejack do you know where Applebloom is? Sweetie Belle and I have great crusading ideas!" "She's probably helping Granny with some jam." "Thanks Applejack! See you guys later!"
They sat for awhile in silence. Applejack seemed zoned out. Could she tell Applejack? Maybe it wasn't such a good idea.
Rainbow Dash was worried she would never cheer her up.
"No, no I ain't."
She blushed slightly. Rainbow didn't notice.
"Well what are you thinking about then?" "'Bout my hat." "Your hat? Do you want a new one or something? "No. I was thinkin' you look better in it." "A~Applejack?"
Applejack blushed as she put the hat on her head. Rainbow Dash blushed back. Rainbow leaned in and kissed her. Then she felt a warm tongue wrestling hers. It was wonderful, electricity ran through them. Applejack pulled away and walked over to a tree and hung her head. She began to cry.
"Applejack?Wha-?" "No Rainbow, I can't do this. You're to unpredictable. I don't want to get hurt. I love you.." "But-" "No, I'm sorry."
She looked up tears running down her face and ran away.
"But, I need you Applejack..."
Rainbow Dash was so upset she flew so fast that she was in the middle of Ponyville in 5 seconds. She didn't even notice. Tears were running down here out of breath face. Everypony avoided her in the street knowing she didn't want to be messed with. She needed Applejack and she loved her too. Now she was the one who hurt. She carried the wrenched heart.
Applejack ran head first into Big Mac. He saw her crying and looked down at her. "Mom?" "No, Big Mac its something else.." "Rainbow?"
Her eyes widened.
"How'd you know that?"
He smiled at her.
"I've seen how you look at each other.'" "Oh Big Mac what am I gonna do? I-I think I hurt her feelin's"
She looked down. What was she gonna do?
Rainbow was moping down the road in huff and a cloud over head.
"Oops, sorry Rainbow" "Its alright Fluttershy" "Are you okay?" "Not really" "What's wrong..if you don't mind telling?" "Nah, its alright. Its AJ" "Applejack? Is she ok?" "Yeah, well maybe. Shes not hurt. I am I really like her." "I really like her too and all my friends." "Not like that Fluttershy. I love her ok? I need her in my life...but I want her to be happy." "Oh..really?...Can I tell you something?" "Sure" "I kinda like Pinkie too...the way you like Applejack." "Oh really?"
She smirked and hit Fluttershy on the shoulder.
"ow, ..yes."
She blushed.
"Well I hope you have better luck then me." "Maybe you should just give her time Rainbow." "I guess..Thanks Fluttershy." "No problem, bye." "Bye."
They had walked all the way to Fluttershy's house. Rainbow headed back towards her cloud and decided to take a nap. Maybe she could clear her head.
Applejack knew she needed to clear her mind and what better way than work? This usually helped her think clearly, but as the zap apples hit the bottom of her bucket they reminded her of something. She saw the rainbow across the apples peel and she thought of Rainbow Dash immediately. It was like faith had sealed them a rainbow apple, it was them combined. What sign was better? She realized she needed Rainbow Dash more than anything to help her pull through, but was it too late? Could she accept how unpredictable she was? She had to, no she needed to. She started in a run and Big Mac gave her a smile and went back to work.
Applejack ran into town and saw three of her best friends Twilight, Rarity, and Pinkie Pie. "Hey y'all haven't seen Rainbow have you?"
Twilight looked up from her book.
"Sorry Applejack I haven't" "Are you all right darling you seem a little frazzled" "We got in an argument and I need to 'pologize" "Ooh, ooh I know she was walking with Fluttershy earlier" "Thanks y'all see ya later"
She went full speed towards Fluttershy's cottage.
"So what were you and Dashie fighting about?" "Pinkie?" "Duh." "Its nothing Pinks"
She knocked on Fluttershy's door.
"H~hello?" "Hey Flutters!" "Hey Fluttershy" "How can I help you girls?" "You haven't seen rainbow has ya?" "Oh, i think she went back to her cloud. She said she was tired." "Thanks Fluttershy" "Would you like to come in Pinkie?" "That sounds fun sure!"
Pinkie bounced inside and Fluttershy gave off a light blush. Applejack raced back across town and got under Rainbow's cloud.
"Rainbow...Rainbow!"
Rainbow Dash looked down. Oh, great it's Applejack. She got up and began flying toward Apple Acres she wasn't paying attention she just had to get away.
"Hey wait I'm sorry! I need to talk to you!"
She went off in full gallop even though she was already exhausted. She saw Rainbow above her and pulled out her lasso. She caught her around the waist and then she tripped over a stumped and they both tumbled to the ground. There was a noise of crunching bones as Applejack fell unconscious.
"Ow, ow, ow...Applejack! Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh please be okay. Applejack please!" With tears down her face she picked Applejack on her back and flew to the hospital with her sprained wing. It hurt so bad, but Applejack was unconscious and it didn't matter.
Rainbow Dash sat in the hard, stiff chair in the hospital room for the third night in a row. Her wing was almost better it was only a sprain, but Applejack was still out. they said if she didn't wake up soon she maybe in a coma for the rest of her life. Rainbow dash couldn't deal with that. She felt so guilty, everyday she sat by Applejack's bed crying until she fell asleep. She would pull Applejack's hair out of her face and help the nurses and doctor's care for her. She refused to talk to anyway in less they had news on how Applejack was doing. She wouldn't even tell little Applebloom what happened so she just sat and waited and let her guilt eat away at her insides.
Her closest friends had tried everything to get her to do something else, but she refused. She would look at Applejack back at them with waterfalls pouring from her eyes. They would all leave in hushed whispers, curious about what happened and worried about not only Applejack, but Rainbow dash as well. Had their argument gotten so bad Applejack got hurt? Would Applejack wake up and would Rainbow ever talk again?
Rainbow Dash was miserable in the cold room with her seeming empty love.
Applejack awoke and saw herself wearing a green gown and that she was sitting in a hospital. She looked down and saw a Rainbow mane leaning against her bed. She stroked the head of the blue Pegasus and watched her wake up.
"Applejack you're awake!" "Sorry, but why'm in the hospital?" "You don't remember?" "uh 'fraid not" "You remember me right?"
Applejack looked down she didn't want to hurt the mare's feelings.
"Uuhhm sorry no..would you tell me?"
Rainbow's head soared she could lie and tell her they were dating, engaged even, but that would be wrong. She couldn't do that to Applejack.
"Were best buds is all. I'm Rainbow Dash."
She smiled weakly. Her eyes were full of tears, but she dare not let them cascade down her cheek.
"Well I hope I can start remembering some more stuff soon I reckon it'd be mighty important." "Yeah..so do you remember anything?" "Pretty much basic things I remember my family, but I don't really remember if I have any friends or why I'm here."
"Excuse me girls we just have to run a few tests now that Applejack is conscious. By the way it's nice to see you talking Ms. Dash"
The nurse took Applejack and Rainbow Dash pulled out her Daring Do book. She hadn't been able to concentrate on it the whole time she had been there. Maybe now that Applejack was feeling better she could. She read a chapter and Applejack still wasn't back yet. Then she realized something smelled. Eww what was it? She figured out it was her and decided she needed to take a shower.
When she got out Applejack was back.
"Hey Applejack!" "Hi Rainbow, Doc says I'll be leaving this afternoon and things should start coming back to me pretty quickly." "Awesome."
Rainbow was so happy Applejack was okay, but what would happen when Applejack remembered the incident?
Later Rainbow Dash took Applejack to a welcome back party at the cakes. Hosted by Pinkie Pie of course! It was only a small gathering, but they hoped to jog Applejack's memory.
"So let's see if you can remember anything about us. It'll be like a game!" "Well alright..I'll try, but nopony get offended y'all hear?" "Okay", they said in unison. "Name's Pinkie Pie" "Yes and you like to throw parties and you're really energetic.. and Funny." "Yah, its all true" "Twilight" "You like to read and you're the new princess" "Fluttershy..its alright if you don't remember me honestly its ok." "Oh and you love animals and are very sweet and shy."
Fluttershy smiled.
"Well I am Rarity" "You make dresses and you really like fashion"
Applejack looked to Rainbow Dash and couldn't really remember anything except one.
"And were the elements of harmony."
Applejack smiled proud she had remembered so much. She still felt bad about Rainbow though. Rainbow Dash looked to the ground she never thought Applejack would remember everyone and completely forget her. Maybe they weren't meant to be after all.
All the other ponies laughed and were so excited Applejack remembered them they danced and ate like everything was back to normal. It just seemed that way to everypony. Everypony except two very confused ponies, Applejack and Rainbow Dash that is. Rainbow Dash sat and watched all the ponies join in party games everypony was to happy to notice her moping. It began to get late and all the ponies were sent home with a slice of cake and a farewell from Pinkie Pie.
Rainbow Dash decided to walk Applejack home even though she remembered the way.
"Howdy Rainbow" "Hey AJ. Mind if I walk you home?" "Not at all."
They walked in an awkward silence to the barn. Applejack turned to say goodbye.
"Well I guess I'll see you tomorrow" "Yeah alright see you Applejack"
Applejack went inside and Rainbow Dash started to fly home. She looked down and saw how behind the Apples were due to Applejack's absence. She flew down and decided she would make up for it since it was her fault. After all zap apples go away if you don't pick them in time. She began bucking the trees making good progress and she didn't stop.
Rainbow Dash obviously fell asleep, she hadn't had any real sleep in a while. She was sleeping right there underneath th last tree she just bucked. She had almost made up for how much apples Applejack would have gotten done. After all she was the fastest flyer in all of Equestria.
Applejack and Big Mac headed out to the fields. Big Mac had made progress, but definetly not made up Applejack's usually load. Big Mac started to buck at the trees and so did the orange mare. They made their way down and they saw a blue pegasus with a bunch of bucked apple trees behind her. She was snoozing away they decided to leave her that way she looked exhausted. Applejack put her hat on Rainbow's head to block out the sun so she could sleep longer and went to help Big Mac. They had to carry all the buckets back now.
Granny Smith saw all the apples.
"Well I'll be darned. Thats a lot apples y'all bucked already." "We did have a little help granny" "Yup" "We should give'em some zap apple jam for all their hard work." "Yup" "I reckon we'll have bucked more apples then any zap apple season ever" "Yup"
Applejack brought a jar of zap apple jam to Rainbow Dash the apple farmer. She ain't an apple farmer though. She loves flying an racin' and other athletic stuff. She also loves pranks and she's one of my best friends. Applejack was so excited she had remembered, but then she decided she should probably wake her up so she could go sleep in a real bed.
"Rainbow, wake up sleepy head" "Applejack?" 'Hey there missy you fell asleep I reckon after you was buckin' some of them here apple trees" 'Well..yeah. I felt bad about what happened so I thought I would help out." 'Well that was mighty thoughtful of you Rainbow" " Thanks AJ. Hey why am I wearing your hat?" 'Didn't want you to get woken up" 'Well here"
Rainbow Dash came forward and placed it on her head. Their hair brushed each other's faces. Rainbow stay there for a moment being so close to Applejack letting her hair cover her face. Rainbow smelt Applejack's breath sweet tangy apples she savored it all in.
"Oh my gosh AJ I'm so sorry!" "Shush pipe down its alright" "Really?" "Yes sugar cube. Now listen I remember who you are, but don't reckon I remember everything." "Oh Applejack that's great!" "Yeah well. Hey do you want to have a lunch picnic after a critter meet up later? Maybe I can remember more." "Sure AJ sounds cool. Well see ya gotta get Tank."
She flew out of sight to get her pet and then went to the park. Twilight and Rarity were already there. They were talking about some big order Rarity had to fill. Then came bouncing Pinkie pie and a blushing Fluttershy. They would make a cuts couple she though to herself. They let their animals loose so they could play. Finally, Applejack and Winona arrived. Applejack was almost swarmed with her friends, but then they backed up a little. "So do you remember everything Applejack?" "Pretty much" "Had a little help from RD she was bucking away last night" "Oh Rainbow Dash that's so nice"
She didn't say anything she just looked down. Then she looked back at them.
"You're not still being quiet are you?" "What do y'all mean still?" "She hasn't talked to us since what happened. We don't even know ho you got hurt in the first place." "She's been talk in' to me" "Rainbow?" "Alright I'm okay calm down I'm fine. I just feel bad about what happened. And no I don't want to talk about it.
She had cut off Rarity who blushed. They all enjoyed the rest of the play date now that everything was really back to normal.' Then they all headed home.
Rainbow Dash headed off to the picnic. It was where they shared that one kiss that beautiful day. Of course Applejack didn't remember that, but she did. She saw the orange made and sat next to her.
"Hey RD" "Hey AJ so remember anything else?"
Rainbow stole her hat and placed it on her head. In and kissed her "Nah not really" "That's to bad...apple?"
She was sitting there with zap apple in her mouth and her hat on her head. Suddenly it all flooded back to Applejack and how sorry she was.
"Rainbow Dash I'm so sorry" "If you don't want the apple just say so" "No for not remembering everything" "You pretty much did." "Except the fight" "Oh.. that"
Rainbow looked at her sheepishly waiting for her outcome. Then she was surprised to find Applejack's forehead against her's. She blushed lightly. How far could they go? Applejack leaned and kissed her. Rainbow opened her mouth inviting Applejack's in. They wrestled for awhile the electricity was back. Then Rainbow pushed her over and bit her neck. She let out a low moan and nibbled Rainbow's ear. She slightly shuddered, but went back to work. She bit down to Applejack's collarbone, she licked down the bone happily receiving a shudder in response.
She licked down Applejack's torso and looked up at her.
"Do it please", Applejack whined at her.
Rainbow smirked at her. She locked her inner thighs and kissed those lips.

She was smiling devilishly now. She nibbled her outer parts and then suckled on it. She licked her inner lips. This let out a big moan. She finally found the spot she was looking for.

She put her face muzzle deep. This did the trick she could feel the liquids squirting on her face she licked it all up drinking like delicious apple cider, but it was even better. Applejack grabbed her head and thrust into Rainvow's mouth. Rainbow knew she was enjoying it. She finally fell flat panting.

Rainbow's other wing sprung out. Applejack went down to her curie mark and bit the cloud.

She liked down each stipe in Rainbow a cutie mark, causing her to kick frantically. Applejack bit her lightly on her vagina.
"Oh come on please!" "What was that sugar cube"
Rainbow looked her dead in the eye.
"Fuck me"
Applejack smiled and dove right in she licked and sucked inside her. This agent almost shreak out of Rainbow. She began to thrust very hard and fast into Applejacks mouth. Applejack bit at her and swirled her tongue around.

They cleaned up and Applejack got on Rainbow's back and they took off.

Applejack cuddled into her back and watched the sunset. Rainbows smiled and watched it set as she went by. "And tir think this all happened thanks to a zap apple" "Yeah" Rainbow played down on a cloud with Applejack on her stomach . They snuggled and watched the sunset in quiet happy bliss.
