Diplomatic Relations

Sometimes in politics, you can't be afraid to get a little dirty. But what constitutes going too far? Condescending remarks? Invading somepony's privacy? Making out in front of diplomats? Cadance, Celestia, and Luna are about to find out.

Being the princess of an entire kingdom can be pretty fun.
Unless your two aunts also happen to be rulers. And have power and authority which supersedes your own. That can be a pain. After all, what good is being princess if you can't enjoy it once-in-a-while?
Celestia knows Cadance is right for the job, or she wouldn't have seen fit to appoint her niece to the position of Princess of the Crystal Empire in the first place. Sun-butt needs to quit agonizing over every last detail and just relax.

Then again, maybe there is such a thing as too much fun. Hopefully Cadance and Luna's prank won't go too far... Like destroying the kingdom or anything. Oops.

Last Warning: Erotica. Gratuitous sexual depictions to follow.

Chapter 1: To Be A Princess

View Online

Dear Princess Mi Amore Cadenza,
Head of State, Crystal Empire,

Your immediate presence is requested in Canterlot for the following proceedings: (1) to officially recognize the kingdom of the Crystal Empire as a state of Equestria and (2) the induction of its leader as an ally. As Princess and chief ranking officer of your nation, we hope to encourage a showing of good faith for the benefit of our states as well as the other provinces of Equestria. In this, trust, as always, should be the common bond that can help our friendship last in the decades to come.

We appreciate your attendance and anticipate your visit,

Princess Celestia

Princess Luna

She can’t be serious…

Cadance crumpled the letter. Royal parchment shearing, ink smearing until the characters became illegible: a deluded sense of rebellion. Satisfaction from such action could never outweigh the duties now constantly being piled upon her. Worse, each time she read it, the date kept getting closer. A constant reminder the responsibilities of a ‘Princess’ would inevitably be forced upon her, if they hadn’t already.

Just a few more days, that’s all I ask, she pleaded with no-one.

Fluffing the silk sheets of the bed, she draped their soft embrace back over her, a futile attempt to hide from day and duty. A train whistle punctuated the otherwise quiet morning, compelling Cadance to stay awake. Her own train-ride to the Capitol only hours away, any hope for a respite must have fallen on deaf ears.

“How’s my crystal heart princess doing today?”

Cadance registered the voice, but chose to ignore it. There was too much to worry about. Talking to diplomats, royal ceremonies, being paraded around with the expectation everything would go off without a hitch...

“Hello?”

And it had only been a few days since the ‘King Sombra incident.’ Citizens of the Crystal Empire were still trying to put the pieces back together. Before that, a wedding: secretly turned invasion thanks to a power-hungry, shape-shifting, changeling queen. Where was the honeymoon? Enjoying the lap of luxury? Couldn’t royalty afford a break once in a while?

“What’s the matter, babe?” Shining Armor interrupted Cadance’s train of thought with a hoof wave. Not receiving a response after his first few attempts to engage her. He climbed onto the bed and proceeded to nuzzle the back of his wife’s mane, hot breath rustling the delicate hairs on the nape of her neck. “C’mon you’ll feel a lot better if you tell me.”

That’s more like it, the alicorn thought, reveling in his attentiveness. How a princess should be treated.

“This,” Cadance sighed, floating the balled letter over to him. One look at the royal seal and Shining knew what to expect, but he read it anyway.

“So they’re shipping you off again, huh?” he said cracking a smile, “Guess it was about time.”

“It’s not funny Shining. It’s been what? Two days? I know I’m responsible for certain duties, and this certainly qualifies, but we just arrived here.”

“Hey, look on the bright side– at least you get to go home for a little while…”

“This is home now, silly,” Cadance reprimanded, “And right now there’s nothing I’d rather do than spend one week, with my husband. Alone. No changeling invasion, no return of some thousand-year-old dictator, no duties or obligations- well, except to each other…”

Cadance took the opportunity to turn over, laying herself out on display. Chest arched out, she slid her hooves painstakingly down her slender frame until they came to a rest above her privates, shelved atop two supple, jiggling mounds of flesh.

Shining Armor took the invitation, sliding into position overtop her. His strong frame nudging her as it passed, she marveled at it. Protective fore legs like iron bars boxing her in, a subtle musk coming off his coat, dissipating her preoccupations: an alcove to make her feel safe. She wished they could stay like that. It was the first time the Crystal Empire felt like home. Cadance pawed across her mate’s broad chest, matting his fur and trying to egg-on the so desired promiscuous behavior.

“Wherever you are is home.”

Cadance felt her throat tighten at his words. Tears pooled, on the verge of spilling over, the emotional distress built up over the past few days finally coming to a head.

“Oh stop it, you’re terrible,” Cadance shot back, playfully hitting Shining with a pillow. He tumbled to the sheets beside her. She used the opportunity to climb atop him this time, “And that’s why I love you. Luckily, I didn’t just marry you for that sharp wit of yours...”

Leaning over she pushed into him, spreading lips apart as tongue followed saliva into her lover’s waiting maw. She felt something stiffen against her belly as they continued to relieve stress. Breaking away from the kiss, the Crystal Heart Princess prepared to enjoy something that had been a long time coming. Her marehood slicked in agreement, pooling juices out onto the downy comforter, as she slid down her mate. Mouth inching closer… closer… eager to swallow the stallion’s surging pride. Its smell alone intoxicating.

“Princess!”

A shout came at the door. Words not accompanied by a spouse, the lovers separated. Cadance dove under the sheets, red with embarrassment. Surely the Crystal Heart ponies knew what went on in the bedroom. The Empire had only been missing for a thousand years. Ponies had natural urges after all. Still, she didn’t want to get caught ‘in the act.’ She’d definitely have to look into getting better locks so her more intimate affairs could remain private. Gulping, the princess’s worries returned: what if it had been Celestia or Luna? Thank goodness the two lovers no longer had to share a suite at Canterlot castle like they did for the wedding.

Cadance pushed her husband off the bed to go and take care of the issue. Shoo the guard away or whatever, as long as there were no more disruptions. He was already trying, and failing, to cover his shame.

“What? What is it? Is something wrong?” Shining tried desperately to compose himself long enough to address the waiting soldier, who didn’t seem to mind interrupting the couple.

Apparently remembering some formalities, the guard corrected his slack-jawed appearance and offered a hasty apology. “I’m terribly sorry to have disturbed you, but I was ordered to tell you right away if we found any more of those black crystals.”

“So I take it you have?” Shining concluded.

“Yes your grace. There are still a few shards scattered across the east side.”

Shining illuminated a comb, running it once through his hair to regain some semblance of regal bearing. Leaving the side of the bed, he joined the soldier at the door, much to Cadance’s disappointment. How apt, another interruption, leaving her hindquarters flush with expectation. Emergencies were becoming something of a habit lately.

“Don’t worry,” Shining reassured his bride, “You just get ready for your trip. I can take care of this.”

Always playing the hero, he put on a brave face any chance he could get. But then again he wouldn’t be her knight in shining armor if he wasn’t always galloping off to save somepony. Most of the time her. Maybe another reason she married him.

“Oh, you know those ponies can handle it,” Cadance complained, trying one last time to coax him back to bed. “I think we’ve earned fifteen minutes to ourselves.” She was very needy. He couldn’t leave now. He just couldn’t. She had already promised her winking sex a hot, thick…

“Apparently not,” Shining said giving his mare a kiss, one more appropriate for present company. “And besides, being royalty is a twenty-four seven job. Can’t just ignore our responsibilities.” Levitated by magic, Shining returned the discarded letter to Cadance’s hooves. He always knew how to make a point.

“Alright Shining, if you’re going to go, go. No lectures. You’ve ruined the mood enough as it is- teasing a Princess like that…” Cadance reprimanded, sliding away from the mattress. She wiggled her hindquarters seductively and flicked her tail out of the way to let him know what he was missing. “I fully expect you to make up for this when I get back.”

A train ride? How silly it must have looked: the Princess of the Crystal Empire standing in line at the train station, waiting for a ticket.

Isn’t there princess exclusive transportation? Like flying carriages or something? She silently reminded herself these were exactly the types of things she shouldn’t be doing anymore, but she couldn’t help it. Even though Cadence was used to being royalty, it never really registered that she was now in charge of her own nation. Days before when she strolled along the avenues of the crystalline capitol, ponies simply acknowledged her as an equal. Well, technically they barely even did that, stuck in the doldrums of not having the Crystal Heart around. But still, everypony’s reaction had been on a similar metric of excitement. Fast forward to today and ponies prostrated themselves before her, cries of ‘princess’ being offered up as she passed. It was a jarring difference. She still wanted to be treated like everypony else, creating the illusion that her subjects’ actions stemmed from a misguided sense of formality. Once they got to know her, they would eventually get used to the idea she was normal. For an alicon anyway. In truth, maybe the ‘like eveypony else’ approach wouldn’t work, but she could still be a benevolent leader, somepony who was accessible, and most of all, open to change.

The window beside her seat offered a reprieve from her troubles. Watching the snow drifts of the outer-lands melt into rolling green hills and meadows of flowers. Eventually, the rising spires of Canterlot coming into view as the ground started to incline. At least the day was cooperating. So far not a cloud in the sky, the best day in weeks. A quick prayer was offered up for the weather ponies to keep it that way. Two days. That was all she had to put up with. Then it was back to Shining, a well-deserved rest, and maybe even a hot bath.

Shining… she really, really needed to scratch that ‘itch.’ Of course being pressed for time did not afford her that luxury. Once or twice she caught herself pawing her posterior. Nothing indiscreet, but definitely not how a lady should conduct herself in public. The simple action of brushing around the puffy paunch enough to temporarily satisfy the heat. Repositioning her tail, she knew it was best to forget. The last thing she needed was to be caught openly masturbating. Celestia would have a fit. Reporters- a field day

Pulling into the train station in Canterlot, Cadance saw a multitude ponies gathered on the platform. News of royalty visiting must have preceded her arrival.

Oh Tartarus, she hoped this wasn’t going to be some big spectacle. Though, it looked like it might be already too late for that wish. Might as well get used to it. I hope this wasn’t my aunts’ idea…

The Canterlot ponies cheered as the Princess from the Crystal Empire stepped off the train and boarded the platform. Cadance smiled and waved back politely. A positive attitude was the first step to making a good impression. Looking around, it was rather heartening to note such a large turnout. As if the ponies in Canterlot sympathized with the plight of their Crystal brethren: the ponies here having experienced their own turmoil at the hooves of the changeling invasion week or so earlier. It also crossed her mind the size of the gathering might have more to do with her relation to their sovereigns than it did with the interests she represented.

“Identify yourself,” a commanding voice boomed from out of the crowd.

“What?” Cadance said, taken aback by the sudden demand. Not normally the way a princess was greeted. At least, it never happened to her before.

“Please acknowledge thou art in fact the pony Princess Mi Amore Cadenza,” the voice clarified.

“Umm, yes,” Cadance confirmed, unsure why this was necessary, “I am…”

“No, use the password.”

“Password?”

“The one which involves clapping of thine hooves and the wiggling of thy posterior. Otherwise, how can one know if thou art a changeling?”

“Ugh, fine,” Cadance groaned, having figured out what this was all about, but deciding to go along with it anyway. “Sunshine, sunshine, ladybugs awake. Clap your hooves and do a little shake.” At the last words of the lyric, ass waving embarrassingly in the air, Cadance felt a pair of hooves wrap around her body and pull forward. Entrapping her in a tight hug.

“CADEY!” It could only be one pony.

“Lulu,” Cadance responded, trying to match her aunt’s enthusiasm, but failing to muster even a fifth of the gusto. She squirmed in the vice-grip, attempting to wrestle free. Or get somewhat comfortable.

“It is heart-warming to see you in such fine spirits- it has been at least fortnight... perchance you have grown taller?” Luna reveled in the opportunity ‘play’ aunt. Though, in reality, she treated Cadance more like a second sibling.

One thing of note was speaking casually had definitely gotten easier for her aunt. A thousand years in a lunar prison certainly hadn’t done many favors in keeping the mare in the moon up-to-date: linguistically or otherwise. At the wedding, her interaction with common pony-folk resulted in grasping some of the present-day Equestrian dialect. But sometimes her baroque mannerisms still got the better of her. “Look who has come to see us sister!”

A little further down the platform, a wave of translucent rainbow hair fluttered over the heads of other ponies. The crowd bisected to let the regal figure pass. She did not run to Cadance’s side like her sister, but nonetheless appeared there almost instantaneously, as if by teleportation. Likely the result of long strides and an inherently deceptive figure.

Must take a lot of practice, admired Cadance, witness to the display of royal finesse.

“Indeed, it’s been some time since we last saw you, Princess Mi Amore Cadenza,” Celestia added, making sure to announce Cadance’s official title for the benefit of the other ponies around. Or pandering to Luna. It was hard to tell, Celestia’s public face cloaked with diplomatic reserve, not over-committing to any single emotion. “I trust everything is well?”

“Of course Aunt Celly. Shining’s been busy with the reconstruction, finding all those leftover black crystal fragments, and there hasn’t been time to establish any formal sort of hierarchy for the Crystal Empire. But I guess that’s to be expected. At least for a little while, right?”

The crowd around the three alicorns began to chatter. Cadance overheard one pony say “Crystal Empire?” as though they weren’t quite familiar with the term. The gabby newly crowned princess looked up, expecting her eldest aunt’s warm, radiant smile. However Celestia’s face stayed static. Perhaps even a hint of disappointment. Oops.

“While I certainly appreciate your open candor Princess, I believe it may be best for us to talk on such matters in private.”

There it was. The tone confirmed it: disapproval. Something Twilight feared, Luna ignored, and Cadance, presently, grew annoyed over.

Five minutes and already getting chewed out… A record by anypony’s standards, present company, Luna, excepted.

As quick as it came the stern look flickered out, replaced by a cordial smile, perhaps deceptive. Again it was hard to tell. A ruler who was always in control: calm, cool, collected. Something Cadance secretly admired, but would be loath to admit. Frustration boiling within her, the tingling between her legs resurged. So many feelings brewed within the fledgling princess: more evidence of Celestia’s superiority.

Calm down, Cadance told herself, willing her mind into compliance.

Celestia motioned to two guards who accompanied the sisters to the platform. The few bags Cadance packed levitated by their magic.

“Join us for dinner?” Celestia inquired, as if Cadance had a choice. Luna stood over the shoulder of her sister nodding excitedly over the invitation. It must’ve been awhile since they’d had guests.

“Lead on,” Cadance confirmed begrudgingly.

- - -

“Is all this really necessary?”

Cadance sat at the far end of a massive dinner table. Miles of silverware and fine china flocked the silk tablecloth, laden with fine delicacies from the furthest reaches of Equestria. Garlands of fresh pine wove between pillars of wax, the candles serving to light the way to her juror’s eyes: Celestia. She sat opposite, indicating with silence she was less than pleased.

Judging me like always, Cadance fumed.

“Of course it’s necessary,” Celestia stated simply, trying to keep up the charade of infallibility by dismissing such a foolish question. She did a good job. Her voice echoed through the empty dining hall, save a few draconian pillars and princess ponies. Then she levitated one of about twenty forks set before her, piercing a few stalks of asparagus, “We can’t afford to show any favoritism to any heads of state, even if they are family.”

“But Aunt Celly-“

Especially if they’re family,” amended Celestia, cutting her niece off from whatever excuse she was about to give, “and please- it's Princess Celestia. Remember to announce formal titles.”

“Ugh, fine,” muttered Cadance, clearing her throat before putting on fake airs. “Princess Celestia,” she mocked, causing Luna to lose a bite of her meal in a fit of laughter, “aren’t we going to be doing all that fancy royal stuff tomorrow? Can’t we just relax tonight?”

“Yea sister,” agreed Luna, recovering, “would it not be best if we took the opportunity to ‘hang out’?”

Normal ponies would have raised hoof in disgust at the childish provisos, but Celestia, the seasoned politician, barely furrowed a brow. “Are either of you taking this seriously? Cadance, you do realize the position you’re in now, correct?”

“Sure, I’m the head of the Crystal Empire and I’m here-“

“Yes, Princess of the Crystal Empire,” Celestia highlighted, stopping Cadance after the newly cononated alicorn revealed she did indeed know her position, “and therefore somepony who should be worried about the ponies that you represent.”

“What do you mea-”

“No guards, on a train, hardly any luggage- this isn’t a vacation. It’s business, very important business.” Celestia paused to take a sip of water and clear her throat. Cadance jumped at the opportunity to defend herself, tired of being interrupted.

“What’s wrong with going on a train? And besides, the guards were busy. And I don’t need that much stuff for two days.” Cadance’s reply came as mishmash, trying to address all her aunt’s concerns at once.

“What if somepony held you hostage, or threatened your life?” countered Celestia, “Do you have a royal seal with you in case you need to sign official documents? A way to contact your kingdom in a time of emergency? These are all things you need to consider. The way you conduced yourself today is clearly not indicative of that level of concern.” It was apparent hear actions spoke louder than her words. Cadance never considered any of those contingencies when leaving the Crystal Empire. Now she realized perhaps she had been a little naïve and there was still a lot she could learn. “Tomorrow there are going to be a lot of foreign dignitaries anxious to meet the newly crowned ruler of the Crystal Empire. First impressions will be everything.”

“Well I’m confident they’ll like me,” Cadance reassured Celestia, trying to make up for her previous misconduct by shifting the subject to future events she hadn’t botched. “After all-” she pointed to herself, “I’ve got plenty of experience thanks to the two of you.”

“I pray they will,” conceded Celestia, “But certain things- like discussing domestic policy in front of common pony folk, should be handled with a little decorum. Not result in you shaking your rear in everypony’s face,” Cadance blushed in embarrassment. “This event will be a test of everything you’ve come to know up to this point. What you think, what you do, what you say, all will be on trial tomorrow. To be fit to rule, you must demonstrate balance, diplomacy, and,” she paused for dramatic effect, “when to put others before yourself.”

There it was again. That tone which infuriated Cadance, as it would any pony. Condescending, assuring she was being talked down to. For a moment her mouth opened to retort, but she stuffed it full of potatoes so that she couldn't embarrass herself further. An outburst now would be the worst indiscretion. Showing Cadance was more concerned with being right than searching for ways to improve. And likely result in further lecturing.

Why does Celestia think she’s so perfect? At least in her head she could express disdain.

Splat. A dollop of mashed potato landed in the middle of the table, catapulted there by Luna’s magic. The midnight mare made a face, puffing out her cheeks in a childish attempt to lighten the mood. “Have you forgotten all work and no play makes a pony dull? Perhaps it is not best to force such trivialities of conduct on her. We have grown accustomed to our positions, she is just getting used to hers.”

“And you,” Celestia turned, continuing where she left off in that same lecturing tone, “Please set a better example for your niece. I don’t want to have to treat the two of you like giggling little school fillies.”

“Oh come, what is the worst that could occur?” Luna mocked in her own unusual way, “Besides, if the nobles are disagreeable, she can always use that horn of hers…” Luna indicated what she meant by tracing a heart shape in the air with her hooves.

“That’s another thing,” Celestia said, “Absolutely no magic. It wouldn’t do have an international incident on my hooves over something as simple as a meeting the new princess.”

Having addressed the pressing issues, the ponies sat and attended their meals for a while. An uncomfortable silence settled over them, the perfect setting for the argument stew. Cadance bit her lip, determined not to say anything she might regret.

Celestia, being the bigger pony, both figuratively and literally, apologized first, “I’m sorry I have been short with the both of you. It must be apparent I’ve been rather stressed lately. It’s my job to make you feel welcome here Cadance and this must feel nothing like the home-away-from-home you’ve grown accustom to. But with all the recent incidents happening across Equestria, I just can’t emphasize the importance of this meeting enough.” Celestia nodded to Cadance, “Particularly because this will be the first time many ponies get to meet you.”

“It’s okay,” Cadance readily accepted the apology, feeling vindicated, “I know your concerns are justified.”

Really, she didn’t have to be so bossy. It fact it made Cadance more incensed her aunt deemed an apology necessary. The gesture smacked of ‘I’m better than you,’ even if sincere. The two ponies exchanged a glance over their temporary cease-fire. Celestia’s intended to forgive, Cadance’s intended to reject. Luna intent on clearing her plate.

“Then I’d say that’s probably enough for one night. I wouldn’t want to overtire you your first night here.” Celestia’s smile returned once again as she gestured for the empty dishes to be cleared.

“Guard, would you please accompany Princess Cadance to her quarters?” The regal white alicorn got up, dabbing at the corners of her mouth with a silk napkin. Typically Cadance would have stayed with one of her aunts. But now, in the role of a princess from a foreign land, she needed to be quarantined to a guest room? "I'm sure she'll want to get a good night's sleep."

“Nonsense,” Luna argued, picking her battles wisely “our niece may sleep in my room.” She knew her sister wouldn’t refuse this small request. “Well, that is- if she so chooses.” Luna offered bashfully, glancing to her niece. “It’s just that, as I patrol the night, the room will be mostly her own. It could be… a sleepover.” The reasoning was unnecessary. Celestia could indeed forgive this one imposition. Ponies should get to have fun sometimes. Even the most powerful ones. And if the solar princess did have a weakness, it was not being able to resist Luna's ‘puppy dog’ eyes.

“Fair enough, Cadance may stay with you if she wants,” Celestia consented.

“That sounds delightful,” accented Cadance, already at the point where she couldn't care less.

“Good, then we shall commence the slumber party!” Luna shouted in glee. Rushing ahead to the bedroom to prepare for the guest.

Celestia gave a trite chuckle at her sister’s antics, bidding Cadance adieu, “I hope I haven’t worried you too much with all the formality. I’m sure you’ll make a fine princess.” Last words comforting, even if they were a false vote of confidence.

Chapter 2: "Neigh"gotiations

View Online

At last Cadance marched up the winding tower steps to Luna’s bedchamber. Stone worn from generations of royalty treading the exact same path. Each hoof-step echoed throughout the ancient corridors of the castle.

I was hoping a return to Canterlot would be a relief, Cadance complained. But her aunts, well- just Celestia, still treated her like a newborn foal. How does Twilight- and for pony’s sake Luna, put up with it? She lauded.

It wasn't long before her thoughts again turned to Shining. What good was getting married if you couldn’t have your partner there to support you? How soothing it would be to feel his velvet caress… Distracted, Cadance barely noticed another sensation stirring inside her. Not until she had almost reached the door to Luna’s bed chamber did it sink in how preposterously hot she was.

What? When did I get this turned on? She wondered, feeling between her thighs to get an estimate of how bad things were. She could already tell. It was getting very damp. Her marehood was contracting, searching for its mate, as she prodded the folds around it. And as she had neglected to get relief earlier in the day… the primal urge had turned her body into some kind of lusty animal in heat. Putting this off wasn’t doing her any favors. She needed to find a way to release, and fast. How did she even make it through dinner?

“Ah, Cadance, welcome,” Luna announced cheerfully, swinging the door to her bedroom wide as she heard Cadance ascend the last step. The newly coronated mare quickly hid her arousal by neatly tucking her tail. Luna paid no attention, or at least pretended not to, continuing, “What should be our first activity? The playing of truth or dare? The telling of scary stories? Ooh, I know! Perhaps we should talk about stallions?”

Cadance grimaced, sympathizing with Luna although she was an obstacle to the current objective. Here was this pony, excited to have company, even if it was her own family. Cadance could table complaining about Celestia’s expectations for one night. After all Luna put up with them for… a debatably longer time than Cadance had: anypony would have become Nightmare Moon. Okay, it probably wasn’t funny to joke about that, especially not in Canterlot. Cadance decided she could play along with her exuberant aunt for one night. It might even turn out to be fun. But first: to alleviate her problem.

“I think I’ll start with a bath,” the pink princess replied having found a suitable excuse, “if you don’t mind.” Hopefully Luna could wait.

“Are you positive? Do you not wish have a look around first, to familiarize yourself with your new accommodations? I have acquired several cute gifts since we last saw each other. ” Luna pointed to a few plush animals that littered her bed. Indeed cute.

“Luna, don’t you have a night to prepare?” Cadance admonished, searching for a way to keep her aunt otherwise occupied for a while.

“Observant as ever niece,” the mistress of midnight relented, beckoning Cadance into the royal bath, a few steps adjacent to where they were. “Please feel free to wash up while I attend my duties.”

A natural waterfall ran through the middle of the tiled floor, cascading down from a hole in the ceiling. Directly underneath, a dais climbed out of the surrounding wading pool, marble steps incrementing in height before coming to a finish between two chiseled alicorn statues. Encircling the scene were mirrors positioned radially on all sides, accompanied by granite countertops cut into the mountainside. The naturally heated water of the hot spring running off the mountain steamed in the night air. What remained in the room dewed on the two ponies. Taking a deep breath Cadance drew the warmth into her lungs, clearing sinuses and exhaling troubles, a perfect opportunity to relax before bed.

“Ohh, thank you Luna, this is one thing I definitely missed,” she praised.

Luna nodded her head, “The waters of the castle are quite restorative. And the heat of the spring is most relaxing. I may join you as soon as my work is finished.”

“I-I think I’ll take it from here,” Cadance said, trying not to raise suspicion, but garnering some anyway as she pushed her aunt out of the chamber. Hopefully she could release the pressure building inside her soon, barely keeping her hooves at bay. “Besides,” she pointed at the hole in the ceiling, “I’m sure Celestia’s expecting a moon tonight.”

Luna grew slightly flustered, “Oh yes. I was about to take of that. I will return shortly.” At that she hurried from the chamber.

Immediately following the departure Cadance jumped in, soaking her restless body, breaking the surface of the coaxing, warm bath. Her muscles relaxed as water seeped into her mane and tail. Gently, Cadance portioned some soap and conditioner into her hair from an ornate pump, bringing it to a lather. Her favorite way to get started, probing her body with the deception it was being cleaned. Just because she was a mare in heat didn’t mean she had to smell like one. Rinsing the suds by submerging, she resurfaced in the center of the room, intent on the waterfall. Beautiful. Even though she remembered bathing once or twice in the very same room when she visited the castle as a filly, the way the water pounded over the rocks was enchanting. The constant pressure, beating the surface of the pool and raging against the marble: relentless. Closer and closer, till she pushed her head into the frothing stream. Locks of hair pulled over her eyes by the broken torrent, massaging force soothing her neck and head. It felt good. Really, really good. Her ‘problem’ from earlier flared, demanding she marvel her own body rather than the one of water, her fore hoof wandered. Now, confident she was alone, Cadance allowed it to slide underneath her belly, prodding her sex. Hairs from trimmed fetlocks mistakenly caressed the sensitive nub at its entrance and the princess let out a sharp squeal. She had been trained well: simply teasing the sopping slit left her hindquarters dribbling with more than just water. Looking around again to ensure she was alone after loosing such a debaucherous whine, Cadance continued to wash her worries away.

“Ahh Shining,” she breathed, the words fist coming as a thought, but passion in her loins forcing her to emote. On her stomach, Cadance brought her face down to the stone as her rear tilted up. A natural position. Dipping both hooves behind her torso for extra stimulation, she used them to pry apart the sensitive slit. With better access, she began mindlessly pawing away, pretending to be at the mercy of her husband. The tempo of her masturbation set to the imaginary force of his bucking.

Water flung off her tail as it whipped to and fro, a pompom cheering on the mare’s actions. Drawing back one hoof from her sopping rear, she bisected her swollen teats. Nipples scrubbing against the surface of the marble, having erected to a heightened state of awareness, they left sudsy streaks on the ground as bubbles formed from her rapid motion. Before she knew it, she was humping up and down uncontrollably, contorting her body so all of her erogenous zones met with an appropriate amount of resistance. Her imaginary stallion the perfect partner, every nub of her womb tingled. Magic flowing habitually from her horn, heading down his illusory length to satisfy her needs. The sensations multiplied exponentially as juice creamed from her behind, mixing with traces of soap left in her tail. A shlick shlick echoing through the chamber as hoof mashed strings of her essence around her vagina, the vaporal dildo not enough. Very unladylike.

Closing in on climax, she got an idea. One that made her wonder why she never considered it before. The force of the water flowing down around her was surely better than using a hoof or going to the effort of manipulating magic. Intent on getting off, the princess repositioned her posterior: turning over and laying belly-up on the marble, hindquarters just above the full force of the waterfall. It’s thundering enticed her, wiggling her body to and fro until the natural wonder connected with her love tunnel. Immediately, the impact overcame the anxious mare. Instinctively, she bucked back against the pulsating plume. Filling her so completely that it would have made Shining jealous. She was so close now.

“Cady?”

Uh-oh.

Surprised, the Crystal Heart Princess flailed, a desperate attempt to cover for her raunchy behavior. Slipping off the slick steps, she fell to the pool below. A resounding splash echoed through the pantheon of a bathroom. She had to stop getting caught in the middle of these things.

Resurfacing, Cadance met the intruder with a disapproving look, though it was her own fault. How could she have forgotten? Honestly, it was a small miracle Luna had been gone for this long.

Luna blushed, “Pardon, niece, but I could not help but overhear you being-” she paused, visibly concerned with how to phrase her next words, “attacked. I assumed it likely somepony suck in to spy on the bath.” The lunar pony wheeled around to prove her intentions, trying to look everywhere at once. “Show yourself pervert!”

“There’s nopony here, it was a simple mistake Lulu,” Cadance growled. Damn, if only she had a few more minutes. A submerged hoof itched at her backside, now more irritated it had ever been.

“Are you finished bathing then niece? I have prepared a snack for us. Would you partake in the sharing of milk and sweets?” Luna beamed: a bright, crescent grin across her face. Again obvious she was trying really hard.

“I’d be happy to.” Cadance said, resigning herself to the whims of her gracious host. It would be impolite to refuse Luna any longer, and Cadance didn’t want to hurt her aunt’s feelings; at least not this one’s.

The two equines returned to the bedroom. Cadance wrapped in a plethora of warm, fluffy towels, fresh from the laundry. They smelled divine, a heavy lavender aroma, thankfully covering the lustful scent wafting off her backside. At least at a distance.

“So,” Luna started, “Please indulge in this offering of chocolate chips.” She presented a tray of cookies to Cadance, “I have trained practicing their preparation. Hopefully they will prove satisfactory.”

Cadance took one off the platter, levitating it along with a glass of milk. Even though dinner had been less than an hour ago, the desert smelled heavenly. She took a bite with a dairy chaser. Delicious.

“Wow,” Cadance applauded, “they’re very good. Maybe you should get your cutie mark changed.” She laughed but Luna looked puzzled. “It was a joke,” she explained.

“Aha. Ha,” the follow-up laugh came uncomfortably, “then it was indeed funny.” Swallowing another gulp of milk, Luna lowered the glass from her face to reveal a stained mustache across her lip, causing Cadance to laugh this time.

The two mares sat awhile and munched their dessert. Neither having any idea what to do with themselves. For Cadance it was almost unbearable. The whole day and not once had she been able to release the pending deluge of mare-cum mounting inside her. For now she could grin and bear it, but how long? Surely Luna had seen her earlier ‘performance.’ Maybe if Cadance just addressed the issue- brought it out in the open… her aunt would understand. Maddeningly, Cadance decided she had to talk about something. And there was only one other thing on her mind.

“Does Celestia ever get on your nerves?”

“What?” replied Luna misunderstanding, “Get on my nerves…?”

“You know- annoy you. Today she seemed a completely different mare, like she was a changeling or something.” Luna gasped, horrified. Cadance amended her statement, “Sorry, another joke.”

“Right…” said Luna, reflecting for a spell before continuing, “Well I suppose anypony can get on anypony’s nerves.”

“So it doesn’t bother you when she acts all ‘holier than thou’?”

“I-I didn’t say that,” Luna protested, timid about sharing her true feelings.

“So then admit it. She does bother you sometimes.”

The mare of the moon finished the last cookie. It would not do to slander her sister, especially behind her back. However, this was an opportunity to have a secret confidant. Gossip; Luna heard Twilight’s unicorn friend refer to it one time. A pleasant thing two mares could do to enjoy one another’s company. Luna took the gamble, “My sister is old and wise- in some respects. But,” she paused, “certainly immature in others.”

The hesitation intrigued Cadance. It was silly to think an alicorn as ancient as Celestia was immature in any sense of the word, let alone that she might have hidden doubts or fears. “In what way in is that Lulu?”

“General concerns. Fears, love, things her subconscious feeds to her. Her dreams were always polluted with the most grandiose ideas…”

Cadance processed the information, coming up with another wonderful idea, perhaps one better than the waterfall. One bent on getting some payback. “That’s right…” Cadance considered aloud, “You can see into another pony’s dreams.”

“Of course,” replied Luna, “It has always been a natural ability of mine.”

“Do you think I would be able to see another pony’s dreams?” Cadance asked innocently, though wearing a devilish grin.

“What you ask is possible,” Luna admitted, “Though it would require some form of contact with the subject. My magic could then merge your dream and the victim’s.” She caught herself, “Err, I mean, other pony’s.”

“So then what’s stopping us from finding out what Celestia’s dreaming about right now?”

Once more a silence took the room. It was a very tempting proposition. Luna simply had to reach out with her power and delve into Celestia’s mind, bringing back the juiciest secrets of the past thousand years.

“C’mon, let’s do it,” Cadance insisted, “It’ll just be a harmless prank. We can keep a secret, can't we?”

“Tis’ a good idea, but it would not work,” said Luna, disappointed her niece got excited over nothing, “My sister is already aware of my power and has guarded against it. When we were fillies I used to antagonize her with it on occasion. My teasing prompted her to practice cognitive reinforcement. With such a powerful will to resist, I would not be able to invade her dreams.”

“However, she’s not so familiar with my magic…”

Cadance watched the same realization wash over Luna. “What you are suggesting might work. With your power to relax the will…” Luna tapped at her chin, “the spell may have a chance.”

“Well what are we waiting for?” shouted Cadance, clearly motivated at the opportunity to get back at Celestia. It was time for Sun-butt to get off her high horse.

“I cannot guarantee success,” Luna warned, “but let us find out." She raised a glass of milk to toast their plan, "To the tradition of ‘pranking!’”

A common ‘enemy’ found, the two miscreants clanked drinks and took a ceremonial sip, sealing the deal. Luna decided she could indulge this once. Her sister would understand.

- - -

The two partners-in-crime snuck out of the room, making sure to shut the door magically behind them. It was late, past midnight, as they tippy-hooved up to Celestia’s chambers. Torches flickered, casting deep equine shadows over the chiseled rock.

“What fun,” Luna said, giddy over the plan, “It has been ages since I have participated in something like this.”

Coming before a heavy wooden door, Luna raised hoof to muzzle, signaling silence: as if it weren’t obvious already. Encased by magic, one of the mounted lion’s head knockers depressed into the grain of the door, which opened to reveal a pitch black room. Luna maneuvered deftly around clutter: decorative tiaras, scrolls of paper, fine horseshoes, and a pruning kit. Cadance, seeing Luna had done this sort of thing before, followed closely.

Eventually, the two figures heard Celestia’s deep breaths as they loomed over her slumbering form, a chalky white scribble against the darkness. Her hair still flowed in watery procession, eerie and beautiful, but Cadance detected something else unusual: a rather luminous aura of light emanated from Celestia’s figure. It made Cadance wonder if that was also a gift from the sun, or if Celly’s power was so great that the excess literally discharged through her coat.

“Ready?” Luna mouthed, implying sound rather than producing it.

Cadance nodded. Slowly, the Crystal Heart princess drew out the dormant power within her, the first step. Her horn flashed, combating the white radiance of Celestia with its own rosy hue. An illusory heart projected from its tip and floated down. Contacting Celestia’s body where disappeared, absorbed by her fur and into her nervous system. The calming effect would soon take hold. And as it did Cadance grew more excited. She wanted to know what Celestia was dreaming about. She looked peaceful lying there, save the occasional twitch. Having a somewhat wider frame than the other two, Celestia also boasted rather generous assets. Cadance traced a line from tip to tail, seeing each inflection in the sun princess’s flesh dive into another curve, her body hairs short and delicate, as soft as the silken fabrics she was covered with. She turned in her sleep, letting out a cute, but somewhat provocative, groan.

A spicy encounter with one of her guards-ponies perhaps? Cadance imagined how hot and wet Celestia must be getting. Crotch moistening, approving of the job one of her dream-guards was doing: lapping every last inch of her body until he ended with a vigorous suck at her cutie mark.

No, wait. Rather, it was her. Imaginary guard replaced by Cadance, she assaulted Celestia’s posterior, the last salty lick weaving dangerously close to the plot-hole. Cadance’s malady rekindled as the humidity between her haunches returned, pulling attention from the task at hand.

Cadance narrowed her concentration, magic glowing more furiously. No distractions. I can do this.

The stirring stopped, Celestia calmed down, a contented smirk stretching across her face as Cadance’s magic took full effect. The subject was ready.

The second step was Luna’s. Eyes glowing in the dark, she placed a wing on Cadance’s shoulder and a hoof at Celestia’s shapely flank. Luna’s magic now contested the mellow pink and white hues, returning the room to the darker side of the spectrum. The whites of Luna’s eyes drew Cadance in hypnotically, like a moth to flame. The pink princess neared the mare of night. Though not in actuality, as some strange force held Cadance’s body in place. She felt lighter, like she was floating, the light becoming brighter and brighter. Then all at once, a flash washed everything out, leaving Cadance in an entirely blank void. The last images she had seen burned in her mind. Celestia’s heaving breasts, a seductively waving tail: all subtle inviting signals.

Keep it together. Don’t think about it, Cadance reminded herself. She scrunched her eyes to block out the warmth smoldering in-between her legs. She could still feel it.

Niece, can you hear me?

Cadance could hear Luna’s voice in her mind, but did not see her.

“Luna, where are you?”

Deep within your subconscious, I will transition us over to Celestia’s momentarily. Please try to clear your mind. This may feel unusual.

Still getting used to hearing Luna’s words without speech, Cadance took what she hoped was a deep breath. Cheeks flushed as Cadance felt the pressure of her magic acting in the real world. Then a spark ignited and she could feel the astral plane around her accelerate. A strange sensation came over her as she hurtled through nothingness, as though her whole body had fallen asleep. Everything frozen in place, numb: except for one single spot still radiating heat. Her mind went blank.

Arousal no longer subdued by logic or reason, the desire for satisfaction amplified beyond measure. For a moment Cadance ceased to exist, in a conscious sense at least, mental faculties replaced by a web of wanton lust and desire. Feelings so powerful her only purpose became to quench an insatiable, and ever growing, sexual appetite.

Depraved thoughts surfaced. Cadance visualized taking advantage of Celestia. Bending that gorgeous white royal flank over the side of the bed and rutting the matriarch’s brains out. Taking her over and over again until cream sloshed between their loins. No sooner than Cadance imagined it, it began to materialize: tugging her aunt’s hair with clenched teeth, a yelp of pain in response. The assault prompted the sun goddess to grind her butt up against her attacker. Meaty flanks bounced enticingly as they flattened with each compression. The depravity continued as the image of Celestia actually began enjoying the fucking, turning to face her partner and slathering their bodies in a hot, sticky mess. The display afforded Cadance a rare opportunity to watch their collective teats bounce in tandem. She enjoyed seeing just what a slut Celestia had become, moaning whorishly at each thrust. This noise of course only redoubled efforts, Cadance humping in desperate succession, searching for release. A cacophony of flesh, drool carelessly piddled out of the horny pink princess’s mouth, dripping across Celestia’s dimpled backside. The grooves above Celestia’s ass cheeks formed natural hoof holds, perfect for mounting, then proceeding to buck as hard as possible. Beasts they had become, Cadance hunkered down and slammed into her partner. Thrust after thrust came until she ejaculated mare cum everywhere, Celestia’s slit constricting to swallow as much as possible, pair moaning in orgasm. Spent, Cadance slid out, still breathing heavily, pulsating member shrinking back to a normal size. As dopamine replaced adrenaline the reality of the moment shocked her, consciousness settling back into place.

A penis? Clear as could be, the appendage jutted out from between her legs, taunting with its perverse possibilities. Clearly her subconscious signaled what it wanted: dominance. Cadance glanced over at her cum-drenched partner, pussy leaking its essence back out into the open air. In that moment Cadance grasped what she had done.

“L-luna?” Cadance cried into the void. The passed out and abused shade of Celestia fading to nothing more than a blur. With pent up sexual tension finally released, Cadance had no idea where she was. Best case scenario: still in her own imagination. Worst: lost in some nightmare-scape of the subconscious.

“Something is wrong.”

Luna’s booming voice rang in her ears, the world around spinning, then going black. Suddenly, Cadance could feel gravity- the force of her hooves on solid ground, and mass. Opening her eyes Cadance revealed the royal bedroom, Luna addressing her in person while she tried to shake off the drowsiness of induced hypnosis.

“Cadence, are you all right?”

“What happened?” Cadance asked, “I felt like I was being drawn forward and then… and then…” she trailed off. The memory of what happened still fresh in her mind. She didn’t really want Luna to know unless it was absolutely necessary.

Luna thought aloud, “I am not sure. Everything occurred as it normally would and then,” how could she put it best? “Things got hot.”

“Hot?” repeated Cadance puzzled by the choice of words. Ones dangerously close to describing her experience in some ways.

“Yes, it felt like…” Luna was having a hard time, “the sun. Perhaps nothing, but it was rather unusual. I definitely sensed Celsestia’s mind open to me, but I was forced out due to a flare of warmth.”

The whole affair withered Cadance’s resolve to continue experimenting. The things she thought about doing. The things she wanted to do. At least her ‘problem’ had subsided, but… She still couldn’t bring herself to look at Celestia, even though she felt like she had a lot more restraint. “C’mon I think that’s enough fooling around for one night.”

“Agreed,” the Luna replied, hustling back out the chamber the way they had come.

Celestia continued to sleep.

- - -

“Shining, stop it, that tickles,”Cadance mumbled lazily, cozying up to a searching hoof. Snuggling it, she sighed, “I had the weirdest dream last night.”

The reverberating sound of a cannon firing came ringing into the bedroom. Commotion came from the courtyard outside, announcing the conference of nations soon to be held. Surprised, the Crystal Heart Princess threw off the downy comforter and opened her eyes to see a midnight blue forelimb at her cheek.

“Zzzght,” a loud snort came from her slumbering co-conspirator, drool creeping out Luna’s mouth soaking the pillow. The cannon apparently not enough to wake her.

“Ahhh, Luna, quit it!” Cadance cried, slapping the hoof away. Luna rolled to the other side of the bed, taking the majority of the sheets with her. Saliva seeped in, coming as a cold wake-up call. Shaking off a slimy hoof, Cadance slunk down onto the floor. Not the way she would have preferred to start the day.

Morning did seem to come a lot earlier than normal. And it was wickedly humid. Even the bed was damp with sweat, or at least, what Cadance hoped was sweat. Considering Luna stayed up half the night, passing out only a few hours ago, both options seemed equally likely. Too bad Cadance wasn’t in charge of the night; then she’d have a good excuse to skip the meeting and sleep in as well.

“Good morning my little ponies,” a sweet call came from the far end of the room. Celestia entered the bedchamber looking positively radiant. And for somepony who gets up so early, that shouldn’t be possible. Coat a pristine white lacquer and irises flaring with a vibrant purple gleam. Cadance, on the other-hoof, was decidedly less enthusiastic. Not exactly ready to face the morning she brushed some eye crust from her sockets, blinking a few times to adjust to the light.

“Morning,” Cadance managed to grunt.

Sniffling, then sneezing, the crown atop her head clattered to the floor. Magical capabilities still a good cup of coffee away. Cadance fumbled with it, placing it back into her unkempt bramble of a mane. Frizzing out, the yellow and purple streaked highlights were skewed every which way, completely independent of style. Another time it would have been nice to be aligned with a celestial body. Then her hair could remain an amorphous blob, rather than needing a daily brushing. It was going to take time and effort to get back to ‘princess standards.’

Cadance stretched, heading over to the boudoir to attend the problem. Celestia sauntered over, swaying hindquarters, to join her. Cadance felt strangely compelled to watch as her aunt crossed the room. Eyes never shifting from those bulging hips, same tail as yesterday teasing her; enraptured by sex oozing out every pore. Cadance especially couldn’t ignore the buxom underside of her aunt Celly, breasts swinging pendulously between haunches with each step. Reimagining how they felt rubbing against her own just the other night. Maybe it was a residual effect, but Cadance felt her desire flare for a moment, the bed just a few feet away. After prolonged staring, Cadance reluctantly turned back to hygiene.

“So I guess you two had a pretty good night,” Celestia said coming around back of where Cadance was sitting, “you’re looking particularly refreshed.” Cadance appreciated the sentiment but knew it was a courteous lie. She wondered if her aunt realized hot days made ponies just want to lay around in the shade, not get dolled up to go to a formal gathering. Celestia’s breath humidified the room even more, slightly fogging on the cold glass of the vanity, as she rested her head on her niece’s shoulder. Cadance felt sweat bead at the end of her snout.

Why am I blushing? And why can’t I look at Celestia without… those feelings? Cadance wondered. She thought she had satisfied herself last night. Apparently this was a reoccurring issue. Not abated by the fact that Celestia lived up to the term ‘goddess’ in not only power but appearance.

“You seem very tense this morning,” cooed Celestia, “let me know if there’s anything I can do for you.” The white alicorn adjusted her head, nipping Cadance’s earlobe, and then sliding pursed lips down along the remainder of the seated pony’s neck. The act affection was welcome, as Cadance leaned into it a little, before shaking it off.

It was certainly quite the turnaround from yesterday. She wasn’t sure if she liked it, but a cheerful Celestia was better than a disapproving one, even if things were strangely more physical. Though, a normal amount of touching was often healthy in pony to pony relations. And it could help get one’s point across. Cadance was confident she was making a big deal out of nothing, all because the other night.

Confident until pressure came at the small of her back. Fur rubbing against fur, Cadance felt each breath Celestia took. Friction building as their pelts matted together. Heat mounting, melting inhibitions, prompting thought to turn to more carnal desires.

Celestia crept her hooves up over Cadance’s stiffening shoulders, and then trailed them down the pink pony’s chest, eliciting little pants of joy from her niece who graciously accepted the seductive foreplay. The sun goddess pulled back up, revealing a beautiful sapphire necklace and draped it around her niece’s neck. Unusual, since she could have done so with her magic, but for some reason had not.

“There, now you look beautiful.”

Cadance admired the two of them. Celestia’s tall, regal form surrounding her own diminutive frame, its color the same shade of white as another very special pony in her life.

“Th-thanks…” Cadance managed to get out.

“Don’t worry- everything’s going to be fine,” prompted Celestia, “I’m sure they’ll love you. After all, I do.”

At that Celestia left the room, leaving Cadance, for the most part, dumbfounded. She wasn’t sure what to make of the encounter. There had been subtle signs, but maybe she was reading into it too much? Love: a complicated word with many contexts.

“Did you see that?” Cadance asked the passed-out pony. No response from Luna. Apparently she was going to have to figure out these mixed messages on her own. “Oh, just go back to sleep,” Cadance snidely told Luna. Luna obeyed.

- - -

Celestia’s words were unsettling. The whole event stuck in Cadance’s mind, replaying over and over. What had changed Celestia’s demeanor so drastically since last night? However, Cadance knew she couldn’t afford to dwell on those issues now. Bows, gems, pins, lace: an assortment of baubles went into manufacturing Cadance’s appearance. Mascara on each eye, pulling lashes taught, fighting to look the part. She once heard about a formal hairdo Crystal Empire representatives used to wear; something concerning the weaving gems into one’s locks, but that was too much now. Better to prep practically, enough to make the impression she wanted, but not enough to hold her in front of the mirror indefinitely. Lucky, the natural hue of her coat allowed her to skip one step: applying blush.

Eventually, she found herself sweating downstairs in the great hall, all the makeup she applied unable to hide her discomfort. She considered herself lucky she hadn’t also been forced into a stuffy dress, the jabbing irritation of her tiara bad enough. Looking around, she remembered it being the scene for many a Grand Galloping Gala. Though the reality of the current situation made her depreciably less exited than those times.

Celestia could at least do something about this sweltering heat, couldn’t she? There was no way weather ponies of reasonable intelligence could be held responsible for this weather. A sharp line of mascara softened, and Cadance resisted the urge to ease her suffering with a quick, hoof across the forehead, mopping up the sweat.

Celestia perched herself away from the entrance to the hall, underneath a massive alicorn statue aligned with several free standing ionic columns. The structure provided minimal shade as sunlight streamed through the large window panes of the ballroom. Beyond the windows, Cadance could see the withering Canterlot gardens. The other day they had been vibrant and green, but now leaves withered and flowers pruned. Was the sun closer today or something?

The first guests arrived. Fortunately, there didn’t seem to be anypony of major note among them. Celestia looked over to the meandering ruler of the Crystal Empire, weaving through server ponies and conversing members of the social elite. Cadance tried not to pay attention. But in the back of her mind knew what was going on.

Okay, I don’t need to be watched the whole time. I think I can handle myself. If Celestia was really so intent on running the show, why didn’t she just come over and instruct her how to act?

Frustrated, she steeped right between a regal blue pony and another that appeared to be Saddle Arabian. Maybe holding a conversation with the guests would lighten her mood.

“And then I told the Ambassador from Stalliongrad if he didn’t like it, he could go eat hay!” The blue pony finished, the ponies around him bursting into a fit of polite laughter. “Oh Princess Cadenza,” the pony started, just realizing the princess had graced their party, “I didn’t see you there. Excellent timing, we were just about to discuss a little hot topic foreign policy with someone I think you’d be very interested to meet.” He turned to the Arabian diplomat, who offered a hoof.

“Charmed,” the foreign gentle-pony said in a suave voice, “I hear that your kingdom is one of the most beautiful in all Equestria.”

“Ha-ha, yes. It is quite a nice place to live,” the pink princess said distinctively. She hoped she knew what she was getting into.

“Please, the Empire’s been gone for a thousand years” the blue pony asked, “can you tell us what your official stance on the newly established griffon-pegasus no fly zone is?”

“Um, well…” Cadance began. All the ponies gathered close, tentatively waiting for her input. It wasn’t as though Cadance had never heard about such activities, quite the contrary. She studied up a little the days prior. But this time it wasn’t her opinion that anypony wanted. It was the opinion of an entire kingdom. Cadance staggered make up her mind. What could she say? What should she say? A single wrong word could leave her in a terrible diplomatic debacle.

“Um, if you could excuse me gentlecolts,” Cadance said, dodging the trap, “I think Princess Celestia needs me for a moment.”

Thank goodness for that, Cadance sighed. Her aunt still served as a viable excuse.

“Enjoying yourself Cadance?”

“I wasn’t aware this was something that needed to be enjoyed.”

“Oh it’s not,” Celestia admitted, chuckling slightly over Cadance’s quip, “but it helps.” On the last word she brought her face down to Cadance’s level so that the mares could have a more intimate conversation. “Though, if you’d prefer, I know something we could do that might be fun…”

Cadance swallowed hard, the words infecting her mind. Images from last night as well as the altercation this morning re-scrutinized. The subtle innuendoes, it was obvious Celestia was trying to seduce her, right? This wasn’t some sick game designed to make Cadance squirm…

Like a prank, she thought ironically.

“And what would that be?” Cadance decided that the only way out of the situation was to follow along with Celestia’s provocations. Besides she needed to see where this was going.

“Oh,” Celestia teased, “something like this.” taking a very satisfying taste along the jawbone of Cadance’s cheek.

“Y-you just licked me!” Cadance shouted, but quickly realizing she might startle the guests, continued in a hushed tone, “Are you crazy?”

“What’s wrong? I thought you wanted to have a little fun?” Celestia stated coyly. Though, had this been the same Celestia from yesterday, she would have known perfectly well what was wrong with their current situation. Especially after she lectured Cadance for shaking her ass in public and addressing the myriad of other transgressions highlighted yesterday.

“I swear if this is trying to get me back for last night it isn’t funny. Now knock it off.”

“Ooh, that’s good. I love it when you’re angry,” the sun goddess urged. Again she leaned over to fondle her niece, tickling the stray hairs on her belly. Coming dangerously close to where Cadance really wished she could get a hoof: her sweat drenched teats.

This time, Cadance stepped back allowing a stray kiss to whiff in the air, “Okay,” Cadance deduced, “there is definitely something wrong with you.”

There were dozens of ponies everywhere. And not just your run-of-the-mill hayseeds, but ponies of influence: the kind that could destroy a reputation if they happened to glance over at the wrong time. Having a PDA tussle at the end of the room was ill-advisable. Plus, Cadance could smell the same musky scent again that had permeated the bedroom last night. Things were going to get ugly, fast. And Cadance definitely didn’t want to make that kind of a lasting impression.

“Inform everypony that the Princess is feeling a little ill,” Cadance instructed one of the guards. “I’ll attend to here and we should be back.”

“But Princess-“

“That’s an order,” Cadance snapped. She did sort of love being able to do that.

One wing bent around her aunt, Cadance trotted out of the chamber, hoping their combined wingspan would be enough to hide the illicit activities occurring underneath. Celestia continued to molest her.

Luna better know what to do.

Chapter 3: Her Majesty's Secret Service

View Online

Cadance burst into the bedroom. Still asleep, Luna snorted, a whinny escaping her lips. Folded in sheets the midnight alicorn was oblivious to the outside world, but not for much longer.

“Luna… LUNA!” Cadance tried to rouse the sleeping beauty to no avail. If a cannon hadn’t woken her earlier all the shouting in Equestria probably wouldn’t help. An alternative method was required. Using magic, Cadance pooled water from the nearby bathroom sink, forming an ethereal water-balloon. Hovering it over top of Luna, the magic gravitating it vanished.

“AHHH! WE ARE UNDER ATTACK!” Luna shouted using the royal Canterlot voice as she was doused in water. The midnight blue alicorn sat straight up in bed, sputtering a portion of water that managed to spill into her previously slack jaw.

“Luna!” Cadance yelled once more, placing her hooves on either side of her younger aunt and shaking her vigorously, “Calm down! I really, really need your help. It’s an emergency.”

Despite the contradictory message, Luna quickly displayed her concern. “W-What is the matter niece?”

Cadance winced as she felt another wet lick on her backside.

“Oh you are naughty, aren’t you?” snickered Celestia from the rear of the pink pony, “coming to my sister’s bedroom like this… you wanted her to join in too, didn’t you?” Cadance had done her best to try to keep the perverted princess calm. The fact they were in a bedroom probably wasn’t helping.

“That,” stated Cadance succinctly, pointing behind her. It was all the evidence she needed.

“Has my sister been this affectionate the entire time?”

“Since this morning,” Cadance answered, swatting away another of Celestia’s advances, “And it’s starting to become a real problem. I think it might even be getting worse.”

True to her words, Celestia decided talking was boring. Wanting to speed things along, she nosed her niece’s stuffy slit, incensed by the aromatic aphrodisiac wafting out the hole.

“I-I have never seen her like this,” Luna said, “Even in estrus it is never this bad.”

“Well we’ve got to do something! We can’t afford to leave her-” hot breath panting at Cadance’s rear, “-like this.”

“I-” Luna swallowed and continued reluctantly, “I was afraid something might have gone wrong since last night, when I tried to pull you into Celestia’s mind, and I umm…” It had been a rather private moment, but Luna decided any awkwardness between her and her niece could be resolved after they fixed the immediate problem, “I saw the fantasy you had constructed.” Cadance blushed and looked away, ashamed.

So she knew about that after all.

“Do not worry niece. I often see the darkest most private thoughts of ponies. Your imagination is not what concerns me. What does is what effect our combined powers might have had on my sister. Your magic may have impeded resilience, but there was a powerful lust in the forefront of your mind. Something I was unprepared for.”

Cadance thought back to when Luna asked her to clear her mind. In doing so she had only been left with one thought: the desire to mate. Celestia now reflected those same desires, amplified to a higher magnitude, continuing to indecently sniff the entrance of Cadance’s marehood.

“It is possible we inadvertently planted a mental command into my sister, causing her to act in such an unusual way.”

“How can we be sure?” queried Cadance.

“We go back and check.”

Cadance shot Luna a skeptical look. “But she’s awake now. And I doubt we’ll be able to get her back to sleep. At least not without using my magic or giving her what she wants.”

Luna raised an eyebrow at the comment. “Actually, that is exactly what we need to do. Bring her to orgasm.”

“What? No!” Cadance protested, “I was joking…” She hated to admit she got a little excited at the idea. As a result, her disdain wasn’t very convincing. The foreboding smell returned: damp lingering musk. Mixed results from the humidity and Luna’s proposition.

“During orgasm the conscious mind is virtually defenseless. Those seconds would help my ability overpower her. It may be the only chance to return her to normal,” Luna said somberly, “without anypony else finding out.”

A terrible sinking feeling came over Cadance. She could tell Luna wasn’t joking: the midnight mare rarely did. And it’s not like there was much of a choice if they wanted to save face and retain Celestia’s common decency. Doctor patient confidentiality be damned. Cadance barely made it to Luna’s bedroom without their lewd behavior being discovered.

“Okay then,” Cadance relented, swallowing hard, secretly wondering how Luna knew ponies were susceptible to her abilities during orgasm. She wasn’t exactly opposed to the idea. Celestia was an attractive individual and there were times when Cadance noticed other mares. Nothing overtly sexual, but beauty and style were qualities to be admired in anypony. Celestia had both. As well as power: a rare but equally attractive attribute. The three most powerful ponies in Equestria copulating: a rather scintillating prospect. It was making her wet. “How do we start?”

“Looks like you already have,” Luna observed.

Cadance glanced over her backside at her anxious aunt, who pushed into it, forcing both of them to tumble forward onto the bed. Cadance ended up across Luna’s lap while Celestia mounted her niece. As indecent as it was, Cadance appreciated the enthusiasm. It shouldn’t be hard to get a mare that horny to climax. Sour scents permeated the lower lips of each mare, holes winking, preparing their bodies by suffocating the senses with the heady, stifling odor. Evidence that Cadance and Luna may not have fully accepted their promise of promiscuity, but their bodies had, and were now holding their minds accountable. Sweat poured from each of the mares, the heat of the day unrelenting. And it was about to get a lot hotter, intercourse inevitable.

Celestia nipped the back of Cadance’s ear impatiently. Errant hairs from Cadance’s mane hung down loose over her forehead. Earlier it had been properly coiffed, but now her hair returned to a disheveled state. Heat matting the follicles: styled for sex. Leaning in further, Celestia buoyed her breasts at Cadance’s flank. The spherical protrusions slapped up against her gaping hole, eliciting an uncouth bray from the youngest princess. At this point any sort of stimulation was satisfactory for her throbbing marehood. The puffy pink paunch winked, opening wide to try and slip the entirety of Celestia into its gushing void. Indiscreetly, Cadance allowed her tongue to loll out of her mouth in approval, staining the bed with saliva.

Before they could go any further, Luna leaned over, helping them into a more comfortable position on the bed. The three mares stared awkwardly at one another for a moment. In earnest, two wondering what they were about to do while the other wondered which positions would feel the best. This plan had better work.

Outlining Celestia’s chest with her hooves, Cadance slipped around her partner’s backside and motioned for Luna to assist. The mare of the moon crept over to Celestia’s backside. Delicately, Cadance pushed forward while Luna cradled from behind, laying Celestia down onto the bed. Her angelic wings flared out to either side as Cadance straddled the sun goddess’s navel, flowing locks and brilliant amethyst eyes a welcome sight. Celestia’s mouth hung open slightly, daring the pink pony to French it. And kiss it she did, leaning down until lips pressed against lips, the vacuum of air evacuating between the spaces creating a sloppy sucking sound. Welcoming curious tongues from one orifice to the other, new habitats readied their salivary glands, anxious to explore new tastes. The refined palate of Celestia savored hints of many different things. Asparagus and garlicky mashed potato from last night, radish based arugula pâté off the appetizers a few minutes ago, all washed together to create a buffet of delights for Cadance to investigate. Celestia was enjoying her tasting as well. Her niece’s clean teeth, brushed this morning to be minty and light, were a breath of fresh air. So different juxtaposed against the saccharine stench of lovemaking which was building around them. Even after taking in all the flavors, another distinct fragrance emanated directly from Celestia’s mane. Roses, that’s what it was. The finest fragrance bits could buy. Earlier she complained about the thorns, now she got to enjoy its petals.

Continuously the two ponies made-out, every second growing more desperate, as if each were trying to resuscitate the other. They shoved their snouts together forming a cohesive froth of enzymes that conjoined them at the lips. Sauce spilled over to mat the fur nearest mouths. Horns illuminating, little sparks flew from their tips, the electricity from their emotions finding its conduit. Finally, Cadance broke for a gasp of air, falling down onto Celesita’s own heaving chest. So lost in the moment she had forgotten to take a breath. Lust is a terribly infectious disease.

Luna watched near the end of the bed awestruck by the debaucherous display, unable to find an opportunity to turn the twosome into a threesome. Could her sister forgive them? After all, sometimes sex is just sex. But as somepony who had monitored the unwitting dreams and desires of many ponies throughout the years, she had trouble believing that. Did these actions reflect a hidden physiological desire within Celestia? Or were they just the result of magic gone awry? Regardless, there was definitely something wrong with Celestia. She gave in so readily to the idea of intercourse. Celestia: the calm, cool, controlled, one. The kind of princess Luna hoped she could be one day, nothing like the mare before her now. Although Luna could admit, from the way Celestia was handling Cadance, it might be interesting to see more of this side of her sister.

Watching Celestia’s haunches slicken with mare juice, Luna became more and more heated. Cadance’s dream from yesterday was coming to life. The two princess ponies humped at one another, little squeaks escaping their mouths in-between breathless moans. Cadance seemed comfortable diving right in, mouth groping furiously for that last nibble or peck here and there, neither pony dominating the other. Not like Luna could. The night had taught her much that she could reveal if afforded the appropriate opportunity. And here it was, impossible to resist.

Her own hoof came to her mound, naturally drawn there to assist the decent into bestial lust. She wanted it. Never before had she acknowledged such a strong urge to exert her dominance her. Well, not since being Nightmare Moon. She hoped Cadance hadn’t noticed this morning: the damp stain on the sheets. Byproduct of masturbating furiously to the thought of Cadance’s imaginary phallus plugging Celestia’s generously proportioned rump. Luna stirred her clit, folding down prepuce to massage the bump. It stiffened to the touch, allowing mare juices to spill out onto the comforter. Sights, sounds, and smells all came as an exotic bouquet to sever her restraint. Luna presently found herself on her back, moaning and bucking into the air. Rocking the bed, she demanded the attention of her niece and sister.

Cadance and Celestia interrupted their foreplay to turn and watch the performance. However, Luna insisted they make a more personal investment. Using magic, she shoved Cadance so her slobbering snout bisected the midnight mare’s thighs. It sloshed around taking in a large dose of the secreted slime. The nether nectar boasted rich, bold flavors, belied by the soiling smell. Each component worked in tandem to motivate Cadance’s tongue to move faster, rudder-ing between sticking labia, cleaning out her younger aunt. Grateful to her niece, Luna twitched and leaked more mare mess from her loins.

Not far behind, Celestia was dragged tail first by the same levitation magic. Though unnecessary: as she wouldn’t have refused. The solar sovereign hooked around Luna’s torso, straddling it, and offered herself, pulling apart sticky swollen cheeks to give Luna an excellent view of her perspiring privates. A single drop of sweat beaded, trickling down the slope of Celestia’s bulging breasts. Luna extended her tongue, a platform for the drop, savoring the salty stew that spent the day basting in the cracks and crevices of Celestia’s pervasive hindquarters. With all the motivation she needed, as Luna shot forward, muzzle driving between the fatty flanks. Celestia let out a sharp cry as the snout bore in; hoping to get a full whiff of the musky aroma stemming from Celestia’s puckered plot-hole. The heavy scent flooded into Luna’s nostrils when she inhaled, filtering the frisky pheromones into her brain. Consequentially, Luna ran a lick across Celestia’s sex not wanting to deny any of her senses. The delicate fur there was tainted with the same flavor, so Luna suckled gratefully. Maybe it was the thousand years of forced abstinence, but Luna had never been more turned on in her life.

In appreciation, the mare of the moon’s juices continued to pour prominently, their tart sting severing to slack Cadance’s thirst. Thick and basic, the cream came like churned milk, the perfect topping to serve plastered over a princess pussy. Buried too deep to escape the vice-like grip Cadance ate her way to air, making Luna wrap her groin’s girth tighter around the pink pony’s head: some friction necessary to stimulate the finale. Pushing Cadance in as far as she could go her niece’s horn bobbed in and out, scissord by Luna’s sopping hips, a simulated stallionhood.

Not to be outdone, Celestia beamed down from atop both mares. Mind racing with ways to incite unimaginable pleasure in the three of them. Front half sequestered to the posterior of her niece, Celestia unfurled her long, dexterous tongue. Still stuck with the minty aftertaste of Cadance’s kiss, it searched for carnal flavors to cleanse the palate. Cadance instinctively obeyed the whims of her mate, suspecting what she was up to, and erected her tail to allow better access. Celestia teased, panting at the entrance of Cadance’s pert plot-hole, until Cadance begged with her ass. Sphincter clenching and unclenching: desiring whatever was to come. Deftly, the silky appendage darted in and out, wetting Cadance’s anus, until it plunged fully into the bitter abyss, slathering the inside with a healthy amount of natural lubrication.

The surprise spurred Cadance to slurp Luna’s slit even harder. Fluids creamed the front of Cadance as undignified sounds reverberated through the chamber. Being closest to the bedspread, the Crystal Heart Princess found the sheets were now thoroughly soiled from their collective ministrations. A spackle of slimy strands soaked the underbelly of each pony’s coat, tethering them to the incestuous nest they had created.

Eyes crimped by the pressure mounting from her loins, Luna returned the favor unto her sister, lapping at the fleshy patch of taint stretching from anus to tail. Freeing the pungent sweetness trapped there by the sweltering weather. Knotted strands of mare hair tangled with Luna’s own as night and day intertwined.

The ponies could not stop. Each of them searching, eliciting heightening forms of sexual gratification from their bodies. Superfluous lust seemed to exude from Celestia, draining into the two younger alicorns, who grew hornier by the second.

“Wh-what’s wrong with me?” Luna gasped, still reeling at her niece’s recent expedition into her swollen pussy. The pleasure was desirable, but something was changing inside of her. Sexual appetite growing out of control: becoming a raging inferno.

Disengaging Luna’s posterior, Cadance summoned her last bit of self-control to articulate a response, “Nothing. I thought you were enjoying this?”

“Most assuredly,” Luna admitted, “but something -unf- is different...”

At the words, Cadance noted an unusual feeling growing within herself as well. Initially she wrote it off as nothing more than a need to climax, but maybe it was something more. When she started, the plan had been top priority. Rescue Celestia from herself. Now, that was the furthest thing from her mind, muddled by the need to orgasm. How much had Celestia affected them? And for that matter, how long had they been lying there, fondling one another? The questions faded quickly enough as Celestia poked again at Cadance’s rear, slowly becoming intoxicated again. It was easier to give in. To let surges in dopamine dictate her body’s actions rather than rational thought. Her only purpose: to lick, to rut, to satisfy.

“Cadance,” Luna attempted to pull her niece back, “we have to stay in control if this is to work. Remember- we need to make her cum. If we give in to this lust, we forgo our chance to cure Celestia.”

Cadance, lost in sea of neurons, managed to grasp a last shred of sentience. Luna needed her. Celestia needed her. So far they were acting like amateurs, letting Celestia dictate the flow of events. It was two on one, how could they let this happen? It was not enough to solely use appendages in this sexual soirée. Magic had its uses beyond levitation.

Gleaming from Cadance’s horn powerful love magic irradiated the ponies, bathing them all in a pink aura. The sensation created a tingling that shocked the nervous system, like pinpricks poking every inch of flesh. Then, as the three adjusted to the new feeling, the aura around Celestia grew brighter. The solar sovereign twisted and convulsed, hind legs uprooted from her sister’s chest, toppling over helpless before the spasmodic signals wracking her body. The seizure of pleasure disoriented Celestia long enough for Luna and Cadance grab hold and lower her to the bed. Back to the sheets, wings erect and twitching, Celestia pumped her hips toward the sky, seeking an invisible dick to ravage her. It was an amazing sight to behold: the most powerful ruler in the known world turned helpless whore. All thanks to Cadance’s spell. Luna would have been frightened over the possibilities, had she not been so incredibly turned on by it.

Sidling up to the headboard, Cadance lay down vertically, allowing Celestia’s limp form to drape over top of her own. Wrapping her hooves around Celestia’s forelegs, she locked them into place behind her oldest aunt’s head. The two were a display: sweaty, tired forms waiting with their legs open, flowering marehoods clamoring for release. Their tails braided together laced with the slimy secretions from all three of them. Nuzzling the soft fur of Celestia’s neck, Cadance brought her forelimbs down to peel apart the flab pressing together Celestia’s winking sex.

The pulsating prize looked up as Cadance said the words Luna had been waiting to hear, “It’s your turn.”

Immediately Luna’s own horn sprung to life, a violet pall twisting up to the tip. Luna mumbled a few words in an elder tongue and the spell dissipated. Celestia stirred, the magic from her previous encounter wearing off, realizing that she was held fast by Cadance. She whined a little and kicked at the bed trying to free herself: not fair that her niece would deny her the opportunity to rub her aching mound.

However, Cadance did not hold Celestia’s attention for long, as Luna gave a loud cry, standing up on all fours and throwing her head back. Underneath the dark blue mare something bulged out, trying to break free from its cage of skin. Luna bucked again, thrusting her hips forward as a massive equine phallus burst from her loins. Roughly the same hue as her coat, lighter near the tip with dark speckles along it length, it heaved with Luna’s every breath. Cadance stared at the magically induced member and a solitary thought crossed her mind.

I hope she can teach me how to do that.

Coming to the entrance of Celestia’s snatch, Luna hesitated. A dribble of pre-cum sloughing off her newly created meat. She had been waiting to do this a long lime. Being sisters was one thing, but to share something so intimate… she took a moment to collect herself before doing the deed.

Slowly, painfully, Luna slipped into her sister. The head of the phallus broke through Celestia’s labia, producing a satisfying squelch. Each of the mares moaned in union. Celestia from the penetration, Luna from having her dick appeased, and Cadance from getting to feel the tiny quakes rolling over each of her aunts as they tried to find a rhythm. Already ready to go, Celestia broke Cadance’s grip, falling forward to meet her sister, white limbs embracing her. Squeezing, she brought Luna’s body as close as possible, wanting to feel every muscle of the new lunar lord’s form. Another fluid joined the mix as tear escaped Celestia, empathizing with emotional importance of the moment: two goddesses uniting as one, preparing to share in bliss. Luna closed her eyes and started to rut Celestia proper. Driving her hips forward maddeningly until her phallus was coated by a thick layer of mare-cum, a very male instinct. Some of the tenderness in the previous moments faded, replaced by an escalating mutual desire for Luna to fill her sister. Impregnate her, consummate their relationship. Obviously not her intent, but Luna gave in a little to the natural tendencies, her penis swelling larger inside Celestia, almost ready to birth its load.

Cadance brought her head to Celestia’s shoulder as the white alicorn came. A flood of her essence poured out onto the bed, adding to the swill already soaked into the mattress. Luna fought back in response, her dick driving as deep as it could before halting ready to plaster Celestia’s womb. Cadance couldn’t hold back any longer either. The fur of her aunts had been irritating her marehood the entire time, this last hilting movement finally pushing Cadance over the edge. Crying out in pure ecstasy, she closed eyes to give herself over entirely to orgasm. The mounting deluge in her loins prepared to join the rest of their expellations soaked into the sheets. Expectant, no release came. As Cadance opened her eyes, she was greeted by a familiar white void, body adjusting to the transient tingling of Luna’s magic.

This dream-scape is unstable. We have to work quickly before it dissipates.

Luna’s voice came clearly in Cadance’s head, the princess of night’s powers in full effect.

“How long could she possibly orgasm for?” Cadance inquired, knowing full well it couldn’t be very long.

Seconds. However, in the mind, time is relative. Our window of opportunity could last hours, or it might have already passed.

That didn't sound very reassuring. Cadance took a few deep breaths, surprised her body wasn’t going into shock from being denied climax. But, maybe her body was releasing itself, she just couldn’t feel it. Though before when she had maintained this ethereal state she could sense her magic working. So perhaps time had ‘stopped.’

“So if we’re on a timetable, what exactly are supposed to do here?”

Locate Celestia and sedate whatever is causing this erratic behavior.

Luna made it sound simple. As if walking through somepony’s mind would be no more difficult than a walk in the park. Cadance had other ideas.

“Wait, what’s to stop us from screwing up again?”

There was no answer as suddenly a bright light flashed again, disrupting Cadance’s view. After the feeling of the world rushing around her, things came back into focus. The sharp scent of freshly cut grass pungent as it invaded her nostrils. Stirring, Cadance found herself lying in the middle of a meadow, surrounded by lilacs and daises that stretched to the horizon.

“Are you alright niece?” Luna’s voice rang in her ears. Somewhat surprised she could sense the vibrations from noise, Cadance wondered if she’d slipped back to the ‘real world.’ Though after taking a moment, she noted that besides the smells, everything seemed out of sorts. No wind, no insects, no noise, save for Luna’s voice and breath. Only a prevailing heat. She deduced they must be somewhere in Celestia’s subconscious.

“I suppose,” Cadance sighed, adding, “for somepony who got dragged into a dream without any warning.”

“Excellent,” Luna smiled, trying to stay optimistic, “let us begin our search immediately.”

Cadance got to her hooves and surveyed the situation. Nothing. Nothing except rolling green hills stretching on and on for what seemed like forever. Luna must have gotten the same idea because she used her wings to lift off the ground to look a little further. Since there was no immediate reaction, Cadance assumed her aunt had come to the same conclusion. Disappointment fluttered in the Crystal Princess’s heart. Were they already lost?

“Well she’s got to be in here somewhere….” Cadance said weakly, though it looked like the two of them could fly in opposite directions for miles and not come across anything. An ironically barren landscape.

The sky opened up overhead, blue and cloudless. Heat poured down, the scorching rays of the sun overhead cooking the earth. Even in dreams Cadance had to suffer the unforgiving malice of warm weather. Wasn’t it enough she had been hot all day? It had to be hot here too?

“Why can’t it just cool off for once?” She shouted up to the sun. Doubtful her words would have any discernible effect, but angry nonetheless. The shining beacon ignored her. The two ponies continued to sweat.

Luna turned to consider the burning orb, in response to Cadance’s cry of contrition. Awhile she sat, studying its emblazoning outline.

“What are you doing?” Cadance cried, exasperated. “Don’t you have a plan? We’ve come this far to sit in a field… we can’t just give up, can we?”

Luna ignored her niece’s complaints, still staring intently at the sun.

“Hello!” Cadance exclaimed, clearly upset, “Am I on my own?”

Without acknowledging the outburst, Luna addressed Cadance’s concerns. “I know why we are unable to locate my sister.”

“Why?”

“Because,” Luna motioned with her hoof, “she is there.”

“On the sun?” spat Cadance in disbelief.

“No,” Luna corrected, “she is the sun.”

Cadance glared up in the direction of the massive flaming orb. Celestia?

In some ways it made sense: Celestia’s link to the sun, the recent heat wave, her own body’s sexually transmitted heat. However, even if Luna’s assumptions were true, the core problem remained. How could they stop it? Return Celestia to normal? Questions the two ponies would have to answer fast.

Luna apparently had an idea as she didn’t seem dismayed. This was a relief to Cadance, who had virtually no experience dealing with abstract concepts like dreams. The realization that Celestia might be the sun made the task appear insurmountable. Luna’s words tried to soothe, “Stay here niece. I shall use my power to interrogate her mind.”

The mare of night rose off the ground. A sweep of her wings aiding her ascent toward the target. Eventually, she maintained altitude at a safe distance, the sun lower in the sky than it first appeared, electing to channel power into her horn. When a sufficient amount had gathered, Luna shot a cooling beam straight into the heart of the star: an attempt to see if her caress could overcome Celestia’s passion or even dampen it. The radiant ball impacted the torrent of magic, blue color spreading out across its surface. Unfortunately, before the aura could encapsulate and extinguish the inferno, it flared, burning away the enchantment like a gossamer thread held to a candle. Luna shielded her eyes from the refracting light, spell broken.

“It seems her consciousness is well defended- thanks to her desire to mate. Such a primal instinct I may not be able to quell using my abilities alone.” Luna explained. It sounded like she already formulated a contingency, the way she spoke. Luna closed her eyes and refocused, drawing magic back into her body. “If I utilize astral projection as Celestia has, I can materialize in the subconscious as a form her psyche accepts. Rather than this ponified one it is intent to reject.” So far so good, but of course Cadance suspected stipulations, “I can also choose a form that best complements my own natural affinity.”

All this mysticism was confusing Cadance. She would’ve appreciated a straight answer. “And what would that be?”

“The moon,” Luna replied, “our combined power should be enough to afford me protection as well as get me within the proximity needed to cast my spell on Celestia.” She continued to concentrate, magic crackled around her as tiny chunks of dirt lifted off the ground. “Stand back,” she warned Cadance, “this may be dangerous.”

Slowly, pressure built around the midnight mare, as the air fizzed and popped. Rock erupted beneath her, circling in a vortex of dirt and stone. As the ground swirled faster, it began to solidify into plates, building off one another to form a mantle or crust, on top of which was piled more mass. Eventually, the gigantic object rose off the ground, impossibly, heading toward the sun.

Cadance marveled at her transformed aunt, unable to get an idea of how large the object had actually grown. Perspective within the universe of the mind maintained a dysfunctional scale. That didn’t stop Cadance from acknowledging this was their last hope for solving the crisis, though. The moon soared higher and higher carrying her hopes, until it appeared that it would eclipse the sun. Two celestial bodies battling for dominance, Cadance awaited the results. Her thoughts were interrupted however when she realized Luna stopped.

Now two giants hung in the sky, immobile. It was as if the objects shared a similar polarity, negating their attraction. Cadance wasn’t sure what went wrong, but she knew Luna wasn’t getting any closer.

“Luna?” she shouted up to the sky, “is there something wrong?”

No response.

A knot formed in Cadance’s throat. What was happening? How could she tell if Luna needed help? The spell wasn’t going to work if Luna couldn’t contact Celestia. They needed to get closer. But why weren’t they?

No, Cadance willed herself to be calm. To think. Maybe if she cleared her mind, she could feel Luna’s thoughts as before. Her breathing slowed, controlled. Focus, she chanted. Somehow she needed to find a way to help. Reach out and ask Luna what she could do.

At first, the feeling came as a slight tingle at the base of her neck. With her eyes closed she could envision the scene as it had happened before entering Celestia’s mind: three alicorns, copulating on the bed, driving each other to greater acts of depravity. Somehow Cadance was still out there, just as she was in here. Her powers, she had to be able to use them. Like yesterday, she willed herself to harness them, demanding their aid in her time of need. She could feel it, the faintest hint of love magic welling inside of her, a discharge from her horn an opportunity to shake loose the static sky. It was worth a shot anyway.

Building the flow of magic at the base of her horn, she loosed a bolt of it through the air. At least, what she expected to be a bolt, but the love arrow did not materialize as she imagined inside the dream-scape. Instead, a different feeling came over her. Gravity. The pull of the stars, the weight of the moon and sun, she could feel them: an invisible field attracting her to the bodies and them to her.

Attraction.

That was the key. With newfound inspiration she closed her eyes once again. Straining to manipulate the ebb and flow of the force she had found. Cadance commanded the moon and sun closer to one another. Her place, she almost laughed that she hadn’t seen it sooner. Love was the tether that held ponies to one another, like the attraction of gravity. Slowly but surely, the two substitutes for the alicorn goddesses moved across the heavens. Closer and closer until finally, they touched.

With a start Cadance found herself back in Luna’s bedchamber, head aching from exertion. The pressure of Celestia’s body onto of her own and the sheets stuck to her cum-caked fur all the evidence she needed to prove she made it back. The room was a mess, it looked like a hurricane of pegasi ransacked the place rather than three mares getting hot and heavy. Not to mention the bed, which currently boasted a large tear down the bedspread, as well stains in several different hues. The smell was also an affront to common decency. Rank odors making shame an understatement. Celestia and Luna also began to wake. Luna, having lost her penis, and Celestia, with her mental state still unchecked.

“Mmm… hello sleepy head,” Celestia cooed seeing her niece was beneath her. She turned to face Cadance proper, bringing their snouts close to one another. Luna shot Cadance a quizzical look, biting her lower lip in anticipation. “C’mon, let me stick it where the sun don’t shine,” the white alicorn whispered seductively into Cadance’s ear.

“Ahh!” cried Cadance scrambling out from underneath her aunt and falling to the floor. So it didn’t work. They failed.

Then something unexpected happened. Though, had she thought about it, Cadance wouldn’t have put it past Celestia to do. The sun goddess laughed.

“That’s not funny,” grumbled Cadance, magically brushing herself off.

Luna tackled Celestia, driving them back among the sheets. “It is so good to have you back dear sister!”

“And I,” Celestia said coolly, “am glad to have the two of you.”

The three alicorns embraced in a group hug, dissipating the tension that had hung over the room.

“I think we’ve all learned a valuable lesson on how to conduct ourselves today,” Celestia lectured, and then amended, “Myself included. I regret that my own stressed behavior contributed to this mistake.”

Cadance disengaged the two mares, straddling the side of the bed. “I think that’s enough for one day though. You’re quite a tough mare to please Celly.” Cadance blushed knowing she had revealed a new side of herself to her aunt as well, but couldn’t help getting one last opportunity to rub it in.

“So what happened to our guests?”

Cadance paled at the thought. Leaving those ponies alone to wonder when the guest of honor would come back, she hoped those guards handled the situation well. Cadance sighed and condemned herself to a fitful night of making excuses.

“Well I- uhh, you see...” Cadance had run out of bluffs.

Celestia giggled again at the distraught mare’s state. “Oh I think they can wait a little longer. At least until we all get a bath.” Pointing out the obvious necessity of refreshing themselves.

Celestia, Cadance, and Luna beamed, happy just to be in one another’s company. The diplomats could wait, diplomacy between family being the most important of all.
