What do I mean? I mean that you have apostrophes missing in places where they belong. (I thought that was obvious, but I see now what my error was.) Look at this phrase from your description:

Equestrias resident human

Right now, it's a plural, meaning more than one Equestria. If you had included an apostrophe where it needs to be, it would look like this:

Equestria's resident human

It is now possessive, meaning you're talking about the resident human that Equestria has. See how that works?
