I've only gotten a couple hundred words in currently. However, I'm at a point where I want to insert some moments, whether it be comic and/or develop progression to our human character.

To clarify: what do you, my readers, think what should be done to make this date all the more "interesting"? For example: Twilight offered Rick her tutorship on magic. Should he try magic? There's probably enough fanfictions that have such a cliche.

A new chapter will be published sometime next week.

EDIT: To rephrase: the chapter will be published within the week. I may have found a tiny bit of inspiration to finish it. It's somewhat short. Like over one-thousand words short. Thankfully there'll be a part three to conclude 'The Date'! Hope you all look forward to its publishment.

Now that the first part of 'The Date' has finally come to light, Part Two has already kickstarted to around five-hundred words the day after the publish.

There has been unnecessary procrastination, and lack of motivation with the chapter, which is why there hasn't been an update or notification for a while.

It is standing at 2,400-ish words and is still incomplete. I cannot say when it'll be done but rest assured that it will get republished. And as mentioned in a previous blog: I will post a blog to notify you all when it is up.

Due to a couple of anonymous criticism (to which I do take seriously), chapter Twenty-Seven has been unpublished and will be republished as the 'First Date' chapter when it is done.

I will notify in a blog when it will be back up, as I'm sure there's no notification when an unpublished chapter gets republished.

Sincere apologies to those who were unsatisfied.

This is why I need to stop posting blogs whenever I'm deprived of sleep.

Those muddled by the 'Renamed Extra Chapter' blog, I will clarify in this blog that today's published chapter, Twenty-Six, serves as an extension of chapter Twenty-Five because I felt that the length wasn't just. So, yeah, Twenty-Six was published to appease those who may have found Twenty-Five unsatisfactory.

Even then, I still have a nagging feeling that the quality and pacing are lackluster.

I felt that there wasn't enough justice with the extra chapter being as it is, so it'll be considered a normal chapter. Later, today, or tomorrow, there'll be an extension of the previous chapter published ergo there will be more cuteness on the way!

So, how do you all fare on a Father-Daughter bonding extra chapter?

Sincere apologies for quickly posting another blog. I've decided to just submit 'My Dear Shy' for all to read so it is easier to access. Again the revision is being done on a separate file.

And who knows... Maybe MDS will be getting more updates in the future, such as a Halloween update. I'll just shrug and let you guys decide that for me if that's fine.

As the title suggests, this is where the story will swerve to a different turn. If you remember the horn and the events that followed after: that's no longer canon. There shall be more d'aww moments and interactions between the characters from here on out.

I'll try and make an update within each month... Depending on what's been happening in the real world lately...

An old chapter has been republished. Nothing much has been added. Some, but doesn't necessarily require a reread.

I feel high-spirited today. Got an old bike fixed up and a chapter almost done. Sure, it's got multiple other chapters merged into it with a few things added here and there. It's ending, however, will have plenty of dialogue that has a personal heart written into it.

Considering I am in the spritely mood revising/adding content, I thought about expanding the Father's Day Chapter. Would you all fancy a human bonding with Ditzy plus Dinky scenes?

This is a sample of a revised chapter that should be republished within the next week, hopefully. As a heads up, this is written in the present tense rather than past tense. It sits at 600-ish words at the moment.

Those who have read it long ago, do be noted that some sentences are slightly different but not too much where it requires a reread. The ending, however, will be altered.

The story will go through some revisions and changes; some elements will remain as they are, while others will go through either changes or deletions. Such an example includes merged chapters.

Looking back to My Dear Shy, I just don't see the appeal to it now that I've aged. Well, given that it is a bland, unoriginal Fluttershy copy of My Little Dashie and its glaring errors, I can see how or why.

Man, oh man. The meager trial one writer must wade through to reach that 100K word count in one story achievement. Granted, it's nothing to boast about. And the partial reason for taking this long to get there are those massive breaks between each chapter. Some published in two to four days, while most got published between one to couple months.

I'm glad, but also saddened, that it took three years to get this far.

Hold the funeral, people! I'm still kicking, and by that I mean the 'alive' kicking not the 'kicking the bucket' kind.
