So, I'm currently writing the Meganium versus Ness fight for the next chapter. However, as I started it, I realized that I'm not sure which Shield would work on which Pokémon moves. Obviously, PSI Shield will work on Psychic-type moves, but outside of that? Like, Solar Beam? PSI Shield or not PSI Shield? Would this be something like Spe moves = PSI Shield and Phys moves = not PSI Shield? It's a bit confusing, and I don't really remember how this worked in Earthbound.

Is there an explanation for why Sora's wooden sword doesn't work on Heartless while EVERYTHING ELSE works? Same for Roxas when he attacked the Nobodies with a Struggle Bat.
