Okay, so on the one hand I was mugged by narration.

This happens sometimes. And that’s fair. But I had been basically finished with that last chapter for over a week, staring at it, daring it to have something else to say. At all. Ever. In any fashion.

And throughout that time, I was rewarded by a meek and humble silence.

So. I finally tweaked and smoothed it a little more, nodded, posted it.

Old adventures end, and new ones begin.

The vacation is coming to a close, the tale is nearly done. Time for Rebirth.

(Well, this tale, at least. There’s still a lot to say in this timeline, much like the others. )

Anyway. One chapter left. It’s in the final editing stage now, so I’m pretty certain this time.

Last chapter in the next couple of days.

Okay, this is purely me having a “hey, look at this awesome thing!” moment.

There is new cover art for Reunions and Laments by Sixes and Sevens.

And it is awesome.

Final chapter or R&L - or, at least I think it’s the final chapter - will be posted soonish.

With the reunions essentially covered, and hearts finally beginning to mend, it is time at last to learn of Stygian’s Lament.

With the next chapter, the reunions will be almost complete.

And then, once they are done, the laments will follow.

Somehow my brand-new flash drive seems to have betrayed me, and I lost about six hours of work on Reunions and Laments.

Upside: I wrote it once. I can write it again. Granted, losing the editing I had done is irritating.

Hmmph. Maybe I’ll do some more on Taking Back Canterlot first.
