Next, my story ended on a very open-ended note, which would imply that a sequel is in the works, right? Well...
Yeah, I'm planning up a sequel.
Next, my story ended on a very open-ended note, which would imply that a sequel is in the works, right? Well...
Yeah, I'm planning up a sequel.
First of all, I would like to extend a big thank you to every person who gave Pokémon Eclipse a chance starting out and got it to where it is as well as those who stuck around with it to the very end. Your support is what helped me write over 700k more words than I probably should have spent on this story. Second of all, this was a very long time coming, but I decided to retrace my steps and give credit where credit is long overdue for the pieces that made up my cover art for the story.
Two weeks from today, I will embark on one of the longest road trips of my life to Telluride, Colorado. With the exception of some comments here and there and my Letters From a Friend story (which I can easily do on my phone (in fact, most of that story was written on my phone)), I will be doing no writing of any kind for most of the week while I’m gone.
And just like that, my story goes into hiatus one last time.
I mean, yeah, I really did not see this coming, but I have already completed the outline for the fourth arc of Pokémon Eclipse. To be fair, this arc is going to primarily consist of action scenes and battles, which don’t really require too much plotting (though it might take longer to actually put into actions and dialogue), but also, I had a ton of fun crafting this part. There are a lot of scenes in here that I’ve been dying to write since I started the story, so that also can explain the why
Hey everyone, I realize I haven't published a new chapter in quite a while, and I'll get into the bad reasons first (and there is a good reason for the delay).
All that's left for me before I can start penning new chapters is to (re)watch a few episodes so I can get a better grasp of some characters I plan to include. After that, next chapters shall be on the way.
I still have the post-game stuff to tackle, so I'll reserve my opinion of the game when I get done with those. In the meantime, I mostly wanted to talk about what this will mean to the events in my story. As I was mapping most of the story's main events in my head, news about Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon kept coming in, and based on what I was seeing, I was able to draw out some ideas that I could easily include in my narrative.
And now, I shall be working on the third arc. However, Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon come out next week, and I intend to get a copy (of Ultra Sun) to play and hopefully get some new ideas for the rest of the story ahead. With that said, I'm hoping to have new chapters for the next arc published by the beginning of next year.
I've only got one last chapter to outline on the Akala Island arc for Pokémon Eclipse, and it's crucial to how I'm going to continue the story from this point on (will not disclose such details for spoilers sake).
Just know that once I iron out this last chapter, I'll finally be able to continue the story for the rest of you to read.
Hey, everyone.
Isn't it amazing that for nearly five years, I've managed to stave off crippling depression through horse memes and ponefics? Yeah, me neither- Anyways, yes, two weeks from tomorrow (writing this at 10PM on Thursday my time) will mark my fifth year since joining the site, and I usually like to give away some goodies each year on this occasion, so I'm planning on delivering the following, perhaps more, but no promises:
Ten years after the events of Pokémon Sun and Moon, two teenaged siblings from the Kalos region move to Melemele Island in the Alola with their family. Both are eager to partake in and complete the famous Island Trials for the chance to challenge the fearsome Pokémon League, and they each set off on their journey, each one with a Pokémon from home in tow.
