CHAPTER 15, THE EPILOGUE, IS UPLOADED!

Im still on the road, currently in Kansas after a 2 day drive, and I managed to get this finished and out the door before I finally depart for the woods here soon.

Ill be in Kansas for a Turkey hunt for the next while, so don't expect to see me around much. The good thing is that 95 percent of hunting is sitting around, so I'll have lots of time to write. Lots of solitude, something I don't get much of, but something that will help me write a lot. I've had a bit of writers block for the last while, so progress with Sol Point has been more of less non existent. This was supposed to take, like, a week at most to write.

Whatever. I guess the final product will be better this way.
I do apologize for the wait... as I always do. Have no fear, though, for this epilogue shall certainly be finished by time November rolls about.

I want to thank all of you for reading this big, drawn out romance of mine. It's been a journey to write, and I've learned a lot along the way. I hope this last big chapter lives up to what your expectations may be.

I can finally take a breath of fresh air. The final chapter is finished and now in the editing/revision stage, which hopefully won't take much longer. The write time with this one is due to the fact this chapter is the finale, and is 7k words plus. I felt the length was a necessary evil so I could do all the things I wanted to do. Its not totally the end, however, as I still have an epilogue to write, which shouldn't take long.

Weew! Finally got that one out the door.
Just a little update on things; progress is quickening on chapter 13, and I expect to have it done somewhat soon, especially since I'm going to be traveling to Conroe, Texas to meet someone I've known for 6 years, yet never seen in person. Funny enough, it was his parents that suggested the idea of me flying out there to meet him.

As per usual, I've undergone another re-write of chapter 12. I had it finished, but after speaking with my editor and pre-reader, I basically scrapped the whole thing. And, now, I've gotten myself back into the loop of writing two paragraphs then erasing it and starting over.

I don't like writers block. The fact I've been playing lots of DCS (Digital Combat Simulator), I haven't been focusing on the story as much.
But, hey, at least I've gotten good at shooting down other planes!

Sorry for that hiatus. Both writer's block and quitting my job, then finding a new job 2 weeks later has sort of taken up a lot of time. BUT, I finally got this chapter how I want it... after 2 total re-writes, 4 half-rewrites, and a ton of editing. Now... I just need to sit down and actually start the next chapter...

So, a friend and I will be driving to Las Vegas here on Tuesday, and we'll be there till Thursday. Within that time, I won't be writing or updating the story... so oops.

On that note, I just published 'Pocket', or chapter 7, for your viewing pleasure.

Both 'Point of Entry' and 'Cloud 9' have been published... but for some fucking reason it didn't show the story in the 'recently updated' section, and it didn't go back into the feature box. Fimfic is wiggy sometimes.
