Almost 3 years had passed since Depression and it has still to be given the sequel I foreshadowed... just know that I haven't forgotten about it-- in fact, I have been planning an eventual addition to the NDSB universe, and it may be a little surprising... it may not be any time in the very near future, but it's coming... in the future.

To put this simply-- I had lost interest in Salvation from a writing standpoint-- also with several other stories in mind for both the NDSS universe as well as others, I had to start trimming the fat. As for the events of the story, consider them retconned. Is it lazy? Yes, but with more stories on the way as well as the final chapter to Sonata and I along with a Siren Bay sequel, things had to be done.
