At 44K words and 103 single-spaced pages on gdocs, the next chapter of 'The Broken Bond' is at last finished, and ho boy, a lot happens. I just need to edit it - expect it Saturday if not tomorrow. Thank you all for being patient with me.

20K words in. This chapter's damn dense, and I'm only halfway done. Just thought you guys should know. I'm hoping to have it out by the weekend, if not sometime next week. Expect another update if next weekend comes without it being posted.

Hi, so I'm releasing this around the time I should've been done with this chapter by now. It's been a slow going for me, but that's due to an exam and real-life obligations, on top of a mild burnout I'm out of now.

As of today, this huge chapter I've foretold is at 21 pages on GDocs and at 9K words. I'm not even halfway done. Ideally I'll have this chapter done next weekend, but I won't make any promises. I'll let you know my status with this by then.

You see, every chapter I plot out the story beats of each scene before I get to writing it. They're so I have a crystal clear vision of what will happen. They're usually only two to three pages on GDocs.

Finals and then the holidays after coming back from Scotland really derailed me from my writing flow, and I fell out of it hard.
