Among balancing all the sudden tests I've been getting and helping an extra abundance of students at my job, I've been editing my story for its final draft. It's going good so far, and I'm really not having any problems with it. If it weren't for all these outside distractions, I probably could've had it posted last Monday.
The first draft of my current story is complete. This has easily been the longest I've ever taken working on one story. A number of factors play into that, whether it be school, family, or something personal. Regardless, I don't think that excuses how long I've taken. I ask for your forgiveness and promise I'll be faster for my next story. Any who, now I'm at the editing stage. I'll just read through my story, fix some kinks, show it to my proofreaders, fix some more kinks, and boom, finished.
I recall a blog post way back where I said I believe professors meetup in Legion of Doom-esque meeting wheres they all plan to have tests on the same week/day. I'm starting to believe that's true
Yeesh, I can't believe how much time has passed since my last story (Sorry about that )
For the past week, I've been on my spring break and just taking the time to relax. After all the midterms and unexpectedly cutting up a pair of trees (a storm knocked down two trees in my lawn and I had to cut them up and throw them away with my father), I've needed a break. I have went back to work on my current story every so often, but I've mostly been occupied with everything I just said plus an upcoming YuGiOh tournament, La Liga (Barcelona YEEEEAAAAHHHH! (there
Well, I've had a good vacation. After spending hours upon hours on that last story, I really did need a break. Nothing like some exercise, a party, nachos, and Sonic All Stars Racing Transformed with friends to get you well rested.
Sorry if I've been gone for a while. My grandfather's 80th birthday was coming up, and that took priority over most anything else I was doing. My family and I drove over nine hours to get to Dallas to celebrate. It was great. A lot of my extensive family was there, the food was good, the band played nice, and my grandfather looked just so happy.
