It really does. I don't think I'll get nearly as much writing done for TBYCM as I thought I would. Maybe I'll try writing something else to at least get something done.
So, despite setbacks both real and imagined, I have finished the first draft of Date Three. The part before teh clop scene was giving me alot of trouble for some reason, but then Natasha had the idea of making a 'Date Three: The Morning After' chapter which I liked, and it let me move some of the stuff that had to happen, but couldn't figure out how to make it happen to a place where it would be much easier. So expect that chapter at some point this week.
So when I said I hope I didn't get Writer's Block nor homework I must have jinxed myself. Because I got both.
Nonetheless the chapter is progressing... slowly. I had to re-write the beginning again and now I'm stuck on it at about 600 words. I re-did some of the clop scene so its only at 2600 words right now. So overall I really didn't get much done. Sorry.
I'm currently 3000 words into it, but I had to scrap pretty much the entirety of the chapter before the clop because it was crap (almost 1500 words). I'm rewriting it now, and with some good ideas from Natasha I think its coming out a lot better than before. The clop scene itself is about 2500 words, and somewhere between 50-75% done. Hopefully I'll be able to finish it either before or during this weekend, but that depends on how much homework I get and if I hit writer's block or not.
