As of now, I'm about halfway done with my next story. In case you're wondering, it's the follow-up to Courtship Behavior, and the third story in the Chimera trilogy. This time it's the goat's turn.

I don't have a proper synopsis written up yet, so for now, I'll just give you an excessively cryptic hint.

Okay, so if the comments on Courtship Behavior are any indication, there is considerable enthusiasm for the idea of continuing the story. In that regard, I've got good news and... well, I don't know if it's really bad news, but I suppose it might dampen the aforementioned enthusiasm.

I didn't have particularly high expectations for Courtship Behavior when I posted it. It was, after all, a sequel to my lowest-viewed story to date, which initially came and went from the front page in a half-day or so.* However, as of this posting, the story has garnered more than 700 views in less than 24 hours--- a figure that took Apex about six months to achieve. At this point, I really don't know what to say, except, "Thank you."
