Perhaps it would have been better to post this when I posted the last chapter of that long and silly story, but that's beside the point! The point is: It's finally done. The journey is over. The Great War is won (unless you were the Ottomans, or the Germans). Now the question is: What to write next?

I have a confession to make. I have been writing this story for a good bit, and had been uploading previous chapters that I had pre-written. However, I have finally caught up with myself, and thus I will be updating at much, much slower rate. On the bright side, puppies, kittens, and tiny slug babies are a thing. So I suppose one could cover themselves in their warm, slimy kisses between updates. I know I do. It feels lovely.

After having now posted 21 bits to the whole that is this rather odd tale, I must inform you, my dear reader, that the next bit might be delayed in coming. You see, the next bit will take a bit of time to prepare for your eyes to read. Then again, this warning may be in vain and the next bit will appear 3 days from now, but that is a rather optimistic estimation. That said, I must offer my humble gratitude for your diligence and your love of this little story thus far. Therefore:

Given that I'm unpredictably busy and unbusy, I've decided to update when the fates allow me. This odd wave of timing nonsense should conclude once those little dates known as December 25th and January 1st have become yet another chapter of our histories.

I said that it would take me a week to begin Chapter Two. It is with deep regret that I have lied. Or rather, I had thought it would be one week, but events of both my own making and outside of my control will expand that time frame to another week...or so I pray...
