It's Election Day in the U.S. On such a day, I spend the evening isolated from the ongoing tally--no television, no Internet--and write horse words. Only late in the evening do I finally look and see the bad news.

Last even year election day, the story I wrote was Election Day. Because every election needs a heaping load of Discord added to it.

Tonight, I'll work on a future story. Appropriately, it involves government agents.

To avoid the bother of seeing people talk about elections all night, I instead wrote a short one-shot about Election Day in Equestria. Starring Discord!
