I have went ahead and published the final chapter of The Color of Royalty after a cursory readthrough, without waiting for any proofreader. This was what I call "an executive decision", as I simply must have all this fanfiction wrapped up before yea'rs end, and there's less and less time to get that accomplished in.

The semifinal! Read it, and tell me what a terrible writer I am for dealing with various emotional and mental stresses in the characters in a long-term, healthy way!

No? Well, it feels like it, sometimes, with the responses I got from the last one...

I got my proofreader situation fixed now, and we are back on still way behind schedule back in business! Go see The Color of Royalty, Chapter 8, Fight For Your Mare, in local theaters* now. Where the ponies try to treat the situation like adults.

They've been struggling to do exactly that the entire story, but I think they're starting to make progress with this one.

*relatively speaking, on a very broad term of what a "theater" is.

And I thought I was past this point of inconsistent updates.

Related to the above, this story seems to be in need of a new/additional proofreader? I don't know why I seem to keep running out of them. I don't bite!

What it says! A little later than I had hoped, but you can't control your friends' schedules. If you do, they start complaining about you being a control freak and eventually decide to remove themselves from your toxicity and no longer be friends with you.
Relationship advice aside, I hope you like this one, because it's particularly important.

What's this? Another new chapter for The Color of Royalty? Within the same year? What is this madness? Surely I have been consorting with demons.

On a side-note, I looked back at when that story was first published, and I'm fascinated (and a little disgusted) that I started in July 2014 and then didn't give an update for a whole year.
