Yeah, I managed to get a proofreader for my FMA thing I mentioned awhile back, but she's frequently busy with schoolwork right now, so things are slow in that fic.

So, in order to either feed my creativity or simply find new ways of making my sanity decay, I've decided to start work on the next Spider-Colt chapter.

And no, I'm not really sure what will happen there. Maybe Uncle Copper will (finally) bite the dust, maybe not, I don't know.

No seriously, its posted. Now just to try and get that three+ month old X-Questrians chapter which has been sadly slouching in my google docs for almost four months over and done with, since it really only needs an ending.

Yeah, its gonna be one of those 'six month wait for two scenes' type chapters...since, honestly, I just want to get it published. I mean, a small update is better then no update right?

it's STILL waiting for the final proofreader to get to it.

I've received complaints from at least one or two proofreaders about not being able to read the chapters of my stuff sometimes due to my habit of posting within forty-eight hours of completion, so I'm currently contractually bound to wait until ALL my proofreaders/cowriters/collaborators have a chance to look at it.

So yeah, that's why a chapter I finished almost a week ago still isn't published.

I now have only 12 episodes left, and I've got them on my computer hard drive.

Yeah, enough old Disney movies.

Time to get back to the grind and try to finish the Spider-Colt chapter.

Luckily, I honestly think I'm at the end, but since I wrote this in a kind of disjointed way, basically just writing the bits that flowed the easiest, there are some chunks at the beginning of the chapter that aren't quite finished yet.

But the good news is that we're closer to the proverbial finish line then before, so yeah, small victories are the important ones.

Oh! I'm trying to make a break through with Spider-Colt. Hopefully I'll be able to hit gold...hopefully.

In the case of Spider-Colt, I'm wondering if I should just cut to him flopping into bed, feeling horrible, or show the beginnings of the transformation in a more gradual way.

The pro for a more gradual approach is that it avoids it looking rushed and sloppy, but the con is that it makes the chapter really long.

The pro towards cutting to him flopping into bed is that it shortens the chapter and gets the info across, but the con is that it runs the risk of making things too rushed.

my brain is just not wishing to be creative today, so i'm just gonna hunker down with a bowl of frosted flakes and watch 21 Jump Street for the first time because i haven't seen it yet :P

Well, I discussed it with my co-writers, and we reached the agreement that it just didn't work out. Its a big thing in Spider-Man that he and Aunt May only really have each other, so adding another immediate family member would throw the dynamic off.

First off, don't panic, its not like I'm changing anything major.

What I do want to say is that, in this verse, I'm planning on having Aunt Mayflower and Uncle Copper have an adult child....Blue Bell. Figure she will eventually become this 'verse's She-Hulk, except at this point she's still a bookish, shy lawyer, who lives on her own already and is independent. And yes, she is Fluttershy's cousin, via Mayflower, who here, is Tree Flower's sister.
