I don't really understand the hierarchy of FIMFiction's rating system. I just checked the statistics, and much to my surprise, The Guard Dog Paradox is rated the best story of all time on this site. I really thought I'd be prepared for this sort of thing when I detected the pattern involving headcanons back with Friends in High Places. But nope!
