You know, I'm beginning to recognize my greatest weakness as a writer: I'm terrible at being succinct. It irks me to leave out details or funny ideas, even if they don't really contribute much to the story, and I sometimes have trouble recognizing things that don't. And, per their wishes, the eventual next chapter of Hypnotic Hijinks will feature Octavia Philharmonica and Vinyl Scratch collaborating on a new music project that's sure to make you forget ALL your problems. It's probably gonna end up being somewhat less dark/heavy than the last one, with some humor, a fairly relatable real-world problem, and Vinyl trying to do things that she probably shouldn't do.

but just in case you do, I finally got started on the second ending to the first part of Hypnotic Hijinks. I'll hopefully have that finished and edited sometime within the next couple days. After that, it'll probably be another decent while, but in the meantime, I'll be posting my ideas for the next chapter in the author's notes and seeing what you guys like best, as well as taking suggestions.

I'm gone for less than a week, and I come back to find that my random-ass and not even fully complete story about pony-human hypnosis has gathered more views, likes, faves, and comments, then all of my other stories put together. Anyone who's read it, and in particular anyone who's contributed an opinion, thank you very much! I'm not sure when I'll have the second ending out (life just threw a lot my way and I'm scrambling to keep up with it), but I'll certainly get to it as soon as I can.
