After nearly a year of writing, Of the Last Millennium is finally finished.

At 28 chapters and over 120,000 words, it's the longest story I have ever written.

Period.

Okay, so it's not COMPLETELY finished. There's going to be an epilogue. But the main story is finished.

It's been a lot of fun. I loved writing some parts and hated others, struggled with a whole bunch of scenes that just refused to come together, read and reread, and made quite a few changes to the story plan.

It's been a while since Of The Last Millennium was updated, but I have a good reason. The story has reached a critical stage, and the next few chapters have to be carefully considered. Between moving, school, work and living alone, I haven't done as much writing lately as I would have liked. Things are settling down again, but I'm still trying to figure out a good schedule.

After almost 100,000 words, Scootaloo and Morning Rain are finally at Horseshoe Bay! It's all smooth sailing from here, right?

Well, maybe not.

Oh who am I kidding? Of course not!

I'm cranking out chapters as fast as I can. I'm finally leaving the Kingdom of Equestria behind and striking into the unknown.

Originally I wanted Cabbage standing to the left of Grace, but then I realized that I can't draw a kakapo.

So I just figured out the difference between the "Other" and "OC" tags. Seeing that Twilight won't be showing up that often, I've replaced her tag with "OC". The contents of the story hasn't changed, just the tags.

I guess nobody really reads these personal blogs, but in case you do, the next chapter is looking pretty good. It's going to be one of the longer ones, a lot happens, and it's sort of dark. My original idea was a little happier in general, but in the long run this one struck me as being more realistic.
