Hey all. It goes without saying that it has been a long time since I've had any new updates. There's a lot of factors contributing to that; life, motivation, pursuing other interests. Sometimes you just need a break, even from interesting things. And I've been trying to improve my writing in the off time by working on other projects.

I'm still around, and writing/revising. Things have been very busy for me though, and I don't have the time or motivation at the moment that I would really like. The good news is that I'm pretty close to finishing a chapter, but things are just kind of slow.

I'm going ahead with chapter 2 on Shadows. I have spent enough time chasing small improvements, when I should simply be writing. The cycle is write. Rewrite. Well, let's do some writing, and I'll worry about the rewrite later, eh? More important to put out a chapter now, especially one that introduces a new character and setting. Improvements and revisions can be made later after I get feedback on what's already there.
