That's right, the final chapter of my long running fic 'Family' is finally up after a long time of writing, doubting and general freaking out over if its good enough or not.

The penultimate, yes PENULTIMATE chapter of Family is up, I won;t lie, this took some work to draft, write, edit. alter, swap bits around and throughout the whole thing I;ve been plagued with self-doubt.

BUT, its here, I'm happy with the result, and I hope you all are to.

One more chapter to go...I'm going to miss this fic.

Despite getting very ill these last few weeks, I;ve finished the draft of the next chapter of Family and am working on the next Tomb Kings chapter.

I'll post Family once ive got it all edited and spell checked.

In the meantime, does anyone else get way too many fanfiction ideas and then doesnt write them because they've already got a few stories on the go?

Because thats me these days.

It's true, I don't really witre blogs except when my stories update.

Speaking of which, I've been preparing to go on holiday so not much progress on them at the moment.

I'm off to EGX in London so I've been organising, tickets, cosplay, hotels and things. Plus work had an audit last month which took up sooooo much of my time.

Should have really posted that sooner, but I've been gearing up for a new job which I'm very pleased to have after 6 years of part time retail work. I'll actually have a bit more structure to my life.

Thats right, this marks the start of the end phase of Family. Its taken years but I'm pleased with how far Ivew come considering I started with no plan, then made one, then changed it a few times while writing. Either way, I hope you enjoy and, as always, constructive criticism is appreciated.

This one took longer than I thought, plus I had a holiday and somewhere along the lin ended up restoring a piece of furniture in between. Either way, I got it done, we are ready to move into the final act, it's been a long time coming and I thank you all for your patience and support, as well as advice and constructive criticisms.

It took me a lot of time and I just hope its worth the read. As always constructive criticism is encouraged and appreciated.

Firstly, I haven't forgotten about Family, I have written and am editing the next chapter, but I'm finding it hard to keep going with this story right now.

I want to finish it, I have it planned out right to the end, but even with a pandemic keeping me indoors most of my time, I can't stir the motivation. I may need to break for a bit and try something else, write a shorter story or a different thing entirely. Anyone out there got any tips for when the motivation just doesn't strike?

The next chapter of family is finally here. Sorry it took so long but I was doing other projects and lost my motivation a little. Hopefully this one was worth the wait. Fair warning, its a little dark near the end. As always constructive criticism is welcome.

I've been a bit distracted from the story this month, I got the opportunity to try out for a Master builder position at LEGOLAND in Birmingham so I had to do that, I've also been building IKEA furniture and rearranging things at home.
