So, I've gotten back into a writing routine, and I published a new story a few weeks ago. Heart of the Wood started as an attempt at body horror, but it quickly became more of a tragedy. The M rating is slightly misleading, because a single scene of self-harm caused it. The rest is about a young mare dealing with contracting swamp fever, before the cure was rediscovered.
