That's right!!! The final chapter is written and sent to my editor for processing. Its been a bumpy ride, but the first story in what I'm calling The Whips and Chains Trilogy is finished and the last chapter of Binding Sunset will be posted either later today or possibly tomorrow.

I've been taking a break from writing for a few days in order to avoid the burn out. I love my story and am very excited about it, but I've been working so hard on it that I started to sacrifice my time I normally spend on other things. So I took a few days off to do some art and a few other things. I've spent a bit of time with the wife too. Now I'm back and ready to start on the next chapter.
I like telling stories. Its a favorite past time for me. The more I think about it though, the more I realize that I do it for myself more than anyone. I've been writing and telling stories, in one way or another, my whole life. I even won an writing award way back in kindergarten for a story called the very silly vampire. That thought makes me chuckle. But I've moved on to bigger and MUCH better things since then. My story telling game improved greatly when I was introduced to the wonderful
Happy forth to all my fellow Americans. Now that that's out of the way, on to other news. I'm having a hard time writing this chapter. Its just not flowing as well as it should. I'm about half way through, but I'm not sure if I'm happy with it. I'll probably just plow through it to get the rough ideas down and polish it up later. That's normally how I do anyways, but it just feels like I could be presenting the ideas I have here better.
Ok so somepony's have been questioning my choices as far as making Zephyr Breeze a villain. That I'm playing up to the fandom's hatred of the character. I would like to ask what's so wrong with that?
Respectfully, I point out that the character was introduced as an antagonist. While not an outright villain per se(at least not on the levels of Sombra, Chrysalis, or Discord), his antagonism was much more of a personal level. I will take the time to point a few of these things out.
Well the new chapter is up. Finally getting to see some real action and, hey look at all that drama I promised. Don't worry, its going to get a lot better I swear to you. For those of you who still need a good fix, I recommend "I belong to you" by Sapphire Valley. Its a really good and rather enjoyable read.
So the rough draft the the next chapter is finished. And as fast as it flowed out of me, I want to make it clear that I had a pretty hard moral dilemma with this chapter. I may be adding the dark and drama tags to the story as I find, that the more I write it out, the more serious it has become. Not that there aren't going to be funny and romantic scenes. Its just the the logical discourse of this story is taking it down a more serious road. The characters will be dealing with some real life
Bonus points if you get the title. Anyways I've already muddled through the first maybe 1/5th of this new chapter. Quite an emotional moment, but then I did promise you some drama didn't I?
We'll probably have one more mild, easy going chapter before things start getting hard and heavy. I promise there will be plenty of drama, excitement (of both a sexual and nonsexual nature), and maybe even a plot twist or two.
The new chapter is sent to Sapphire Valley for proof reading. So you will have more fluffy, sexy Sunshyne goodness soon, as well as a slight curve ball that you may or may not have been expecting. There will be some drama in the coming chapters before we reach an end to all this.
The only thing I will say about my next story is that it will be a Sunlight story featuring Sci-twi. 
I figured I'd be done the next chapter by now, but its been crazy busy here for the last couple of days. I suppose I should start by saying that I was offered the job. I've accepted the offer, but because of the miles of red tape I have to go through to get a gaming license, I'm still at minimum a week from starting out.

I'm about half way through chapter three. Its 4:30 in the morning, and I'm watching deadpool while I'm writing. I'm currently contemplating making some hash browns because I am seriously that hungry.
My concentration is beginning to wane slightly but the chapter will be finished in about 2 more days.
In other news, I'm hoping I get the job I interview for a short while ago. I may take my chapters a little longer to come out if If i do get it, but at least I will have money again.
Title says it all folks. I know Binding Sunset may seem to be going and a bit of a slow pace compared to stories that share similar theme. This is by design. I've always found it amazing that when I try to write something, whether its the start of a new story or a new chapter, I always stumble over the first 500 or so words before I hit my stride and then it flows out of me like water. It takes me at least a half hour to write the first 500 then I look down about another half hour later and I'm between 1500 to 2000 words. It's quite the startling realization.
