It has been... a few years. About 3 and a half, since I uploaded the last chapter of Pretence. I originally went on a bit of a hiatus back in 2016 due to a wrist injury that blew up, and uploaded a few chapters of Pretence, and a oneshot, since then. Hey guys, just a quick question. I have a chapter almost entirely finished, but my friend & editor Taranasaurus is having a bit of a busy time, and so haven't had time to help the last couple weeks.

So I want to ask you guys, if you want the chapter uploaded, even if it's not 100% edited (we had a first sweep, waiting for the second), or if you would rather wait however long it takes until Tarana is no longer busy, and has time to go through it? It's up to you guys.

I have been really busy the last while because of assignments all over the freaking place. But I'm mostly done with that, only got a small one left due next wednesday, and then exams about a month from now or so.

Hello people

I won't bother you with long explanations or anything of the like, so here's the long and short of it: My wrists are healing. Slowly, but they are. At the moment I can write a bit and such, use the mouse without pain a little.

I don't plan to return to work on Pretence immediately, but I am playing with the idea of a short intermission chapter, of sorts. Dealing with two characters in the story's setting, but not currently in it.

I promised that I would start typing away at a new chapter of Pretence, ut as it turns out my right wrist is well and truly fucked.

Long story short, I have only one hand to write with (left), and I have no idea when my right wrist will recover. So, until it does (at least somewhat) I won't be able to write much, if at all.

I'm going to the doctor tomorrow to get a look at it. Hopefully he'll be able to help me.

So, hello everybody.

As I wrote in my previous blog, Pretence would be put on hold for a short while, due to a flood of assignments, and the upcoming exams. Well, I finished the last of my assignments a while ago, then had an exam, and while I still have exams coming next week, the last one will be by the 15th, so it's all over soon.

First off, Pretence won't be cancelled nor put on a hiatus. Not really, anyway.

Fact of the matter is, exam period is approaching, I have a bunch of assignments with very close deadlines, and I don't know exactly how much time I'll have to write. I can't say exactly how long it'll be, but for a while I will most likely have to use my designated writing time (when I can get my shit together) and use that for writing assignments and preparing for exams.

As you may have noticed, I go about an average 4k words pr chapter (or at least try to), but sometimes... stuff writes itself, and there was no good middle-point where I could simply say "Yup. Chapter done" and throw it at you guys.
