Changed story tags. EqG tag is up, so that is here too. It also helps show that this is an alternate EqG verse.
Hopefully I can get back to writing soon.

Stating what I already stated last week... someone pick up that phone, because I fing called it!
I was looking at the referrals for PEG out of curiosity when I saw they were all Google searches. For this particular story.
And most of the people reading probably don't know about the original stuff that came out of it.
I mean, it's not even the one from DeviantArt (not that I have any way of knowing that, analytics are only for Premium users--sorry, Core users).
So you are all aware of the Midnight Sparkle Friendship Games toy that has been in shelves for a while now. According to some, it represents Sci Twi corrupted with magic.
Now, I'd like to draw your attention to the toy's packaging.
Look at the background. What do you see?
Ponyville and CHS in some sort of rift.
Now I want you to reread PEG for me one more time.
Yeah, same thing.
I felt like Child at Heart Forever halfway through writing the story.
Halfway through writing Paper Mario X 2 she gets Paper Mario 64 on Virtual Console. Halfway through writing this story Equestria Girls plays on TV. Thrice. Is gonna be four times this month.
I just felt like both of those cases were highly coincidental. (Though in Child's case she voluntarily bought the game... I, on the other hand, had no say over when the movie aired.)
Time to talk about the sequel.
This is set up as an episodic story. (And don't worry, I am not Valve, there will be more than two episodes.) In episode 1, the mane cast meets the villain and gets split and sent through six different universes.
Each of the following six episodes shows what each of the Mane 6 does during that universe they are in. Episode 2 contains plenty of FlashLight if you like that sort of thing.
In the final episode, they come back and beat the villain.
This final chapter is shaping up to become as long as the previous chapter. And I am not even finished yet. I am glad I split them up now.
Expect the final chapter soon. No way am I waiting two weeks for the movie to reair just to publish this. I don't believe EqD when they say Barbie is going down the drain--apart from Equestria Girls, that is all they are airing: Barbie movie after Barbie movie.
And I am even generous enough to include a link to the original story. (Check the coverart.)
This is my last week before the finals, and while I really want to work on the final chapter of MLP:PEG, I feel as though I should work on something else.
No, it ain't Port-Ed 2.
This is another story that won't stop nagging me into writing it. I feel as though I should write it. I won't go into specifics because it's completely unrelated to MLP.
Don't worry, the final chapter will come soon. Definitely before Rainbow Rocks. I have three months before that.
Okay, here's the thing. Between my work at school and my work at the OTW, I have not had any time to work on the story lately. I only have like 200 words written. And that is not counting the song embed (dunno how to embed a video in Google Docs). Granted, that chapter will mostly be in the pony world, and those chapters were a bit on the short side, but still.
Unless you live in Portugal, this is a very special day. Forty years ago we restored our freedom of the country.
Forty years later, a big movie replays on TV.
Of course I'm talking about Equestria Girls.
And it seems like they finally fixed the title over at the TV guide. Guess that 1 wasn't supposed to be there. Of course they don't know about Rainbow Rocks.
It's a crossover, and an adaptation, and a novelization. Just the way I like it. You might see it this week, maybe not.
If you wanna know what I'm novelizing, check EqD. Or better yet, check Starmen.Net. Any more and I'll be spelling it out for you.
Speaking of my stories, still working on Parallel Equestria Girls. Next chapter's halfway done. That too may or may not be released this week.
I plan on updating the story some time this month. Probably during Spring Break. I didn't update because people might think it was an April Fools joke. (Plus, I ain't done with the chapter yet.)
I was planning to update that day though. Why?
This is why. I am so glad Magic Duel and Keep Calm and Flutter On air on Mondays.
I have not forgotten this story. Like I said, I wanna finish it. (If I gave up or took a break on this thing, I would say so on the story page, at least.) The thing is, I haven't worked on it at all since the movie aired on TV. Yes, I know I'm lazy. Need I remind you I haven't worked on Port-Ed 2, like, at all the last few years. Don't even know if my betareader is still available.
Equestria Girls lands in theatres February 22nd, so definitely expect an update on that day. I checked the calendar and it's a Saturday, so I have time to write. (Plus, there's new FiM season 4 that day, so I guess it's best if I didn't watch the movie.) I figured this required a separate blog post solely because of the tagged story thing.
Just thought I'd release a blog post to tell you how I plan to update the story.
Now, I'm not setting deadlines, I'm terrible at that. I did that for Port-Ed 2 and that ended up terrible.
Second term of college starts next week, so updates will be a bit more sporadic starting then. On the plus side, I have Friday off to write, so updates may be on Fridays. Probably not on a Saturday. I have my pony and Cyberchase to watch, not to mention the Runaway Guys.
