I have gone through and fixed some grammar issues and odd wording in all 3 chapters.
One critical thing I haven’t made clear enough: the only reason I managed to go to EFNW was because of EbonQuil’s generosity. I won’t go into specifics, but I can say with confidence that I would not have been able to enjoy this amazing time if it hadn’t been for him.
Also, I forgot to post a key moment of Thursday night’s activities: us watching Corejo play “The ComCast Game,” AKA No internet Game on Chrome last year!
Sunday started much the same as the other days. Try to get up at 7:15, fail and get up a little while after. This time though, we had a nice big group heading over to Dave’s for our last breakfast there.
So this is way, way overdue. It really has been such a long time, hasn't it? 
Life just flies by nowadays. Sometimes you just have to try something new and it ends up completely messing with your expectations, and Everfree Northwest 2019 was one such experience. Infuriatingly, EFNW has been cancelled for this year, so I should finally post this. Conventions are kind of infamous for how easily people pick up diseases there after all. Thank the mods, my story’s been approved! This is the story I wrote for EFNW’s Iron Author contest last weekend. The one posted here is the edited/polished final draft.
I have finally gotten off my lazy behind and done what I told myself I would do after finishing this series in 2020: the entirety of A Fleeting Light in the Darkness and its three sequels will be available as a printed book, and it's coming to a Book Nook near you (if you are in or near the Seattle area during Everfree Northwest this August).
I went to EFNW again this year! Was so much fun, even if my health grated on me being able to do all I wanted to. RIP Ponystock and most of Saturday </3 (sorry to my friends).
And, I was able to compete in the Iron Author competition!
Well, damn. This is a long one.
So it turns out I made it to Everfree Northwest 2023 after all -- well, most of it. I did have to miss a big chunk of Saturday, unfortunately, and some of Friday evening. But I got to see almost all the panels I was most excited for, got to do the big activities that I was itching to do, and got to meet (or reunite) with so many members of our lovely fanfic community!
Hey readers!
First off. I appreciate all the messages of encouragement from people who may have noticed I seemingly dropped off the face of the planet.
The good news is, I am still on terra firma, the bad news is that terra firma is full of pollen and this is the worst season yet. Now, I'm taking allergy shots that will help EVENTUALLY, but I still need tons and tons of nasal decongestants and some antihistamines just to get through the day. It makes writing a tad difficult.
Due to my being on the other side of the country, preoccupied with this whole convention mishegoss, the next Friendship is Card Games will be delayed until Tuesday. Tomorrow, I'm flying from the West Coast to the East, and that tends to eat your whole day due to time zone shenangians. Expect the EFNW overview blog around the same time.
(And don't worry, despite the blog title, no mysterious guys in trenchcoats are offering cosplay supplies.)
As most everyone knows, I went to Everfree Northwest last weekend, and I took the train both ways.
Which was an adventure on its own.
I had a totes awesome time at EFNW~! I loved it all! Even met with a few RL friends there and had a blast. Maybe got a bit too drunk at one point, but I still remember most of it (seriously, pony-themed drinks are epic. Especially ones named after bad guys~! They just get you totes wasted super fast!).

First of all, let me thanks you all for your patience, endurance and support. I hope you've managed to find something you enjoy in my works :)
Now onto what has happened. Most notably, I was fortunate to win a Pinkie in EFNW's Scribblefest 2016 with Give A Like - Feed A Changeling.
Everfree Northwest: Not attending. All y'all who are, have fun for me!
Biggest Little Furcon: Attending! (This is why I'm missing EFNW; BLFC is my backyard con.) If you're furry trash like me and you're gonna be in Reno this weekend, tweet at me or speak up in comments, and we can meet for a brohoof.
Just wanted to say I'll be attending Everfree Northwest! I've always wanted to go to EFNW because they seem to really respect and care about the fanfic side of the community, and it's looking like this year's the year. Plane and hotel booked, badge acquired. Hoping I get to meet some new faces and see some old friends again.
Well, I did it. I wrote 50,133 words during the month of November. Its the first time I've made a serious attempt at NaNo, and it was definitely a big of a slog. I think I'm going to collapse into a video game marathon this weekend and not worry about writing at all.
