Marshal Malice threw him to the floor. Firestorm got to his hooves, massaging his sore neck. Marshal Malice said, "I take it you chose the foolish option and decided to die with your friends."
"You have no idea how much friendship means to me, Pinkeye," Firestorm said strongly. "I'd much rather die fighting with them than live in guilt without them."
Noble blinked. "Was that...sincerity I heard out of your voice?"
"She was very thankful," Firestorm let them know. "I particularly remember that she threw herself at me and showered me extravagantly with her affection."
"She punched you in the face," Noble reminded him.
Firestorm waved him off. "For her, that's the same thing."
Firestorm only laughed. "Darling, darling, that's standard fare. I've gotten that response before--just not as interestingly worded as you. Physical aspects, though. Remember? List the hot aspects about me. Come on."
"Every time I look at you I think your head's on fire, and when you first lifted your arms over your head I nearly gagged at the stench," Twilight snarled.
A Rather Large Update is here! Newest chapter, right below me.
An awkward silence fell between them again, broken by Firestorm's muffled voice. "You know, I don't measure this stuff by length or width. I go by weight." And a heavy grunt followed.
Now both of them were blushing uncomfortably.
The door opened with a bang and Firestorm waltzed out of the bathroom. "Ooh boy, I think I dropped off about five pounds in there."
I'm releasing the newest chapter, Trapped!, tomorrow morning. SuperSonicGoldenKirinGod, this one's for you. It's got a plethora of shipping in it.
And anyone else who reads it, I hope you leave a comment or upvote it! This story is a big weight on my shoulders.
“All right, just two cups of oats?”
“That should be it,” Noble reported, looking at the box as he sat on the counter. “Look, it’s not going to be all that bad, you know.”
“I’d still feel more comfortable if you let me borrow your helmet for this,” Firestorm said, as he held the cup of oats above the pot of boiling water. “Or a welding hood. I get the feeling something bad’s going to happen the instant I put this in.”
“It’s not going to catch on fire, Storm. It’s water.”
It's going to be up as soon as I'm finishing up the wrinkles with my editor. I decided to share this little piece of goodness because it's Valentine's day. Enjoy!
When he pushed aside the flap, he noticed by the candlelight Fluttershy, curled up on the thin rags, hidden by her pink mane. A turquoise eye was peeking out of a curtain of pink, watching Noble come in. That single eye was eager, but distressed.
I want to know your thoughts and opinions on this issue I have for A Rather Large Adventure. A Man Undercover brought it up a little bit ago, and I've been intrigued to know:
What if I included the Storm King in the story, and Marshal Malice bumps into him while he's flying off to Maretania?
And if so, would they team up together, or would they fight to the other's annihilation?
What do you think? Good idea, bad idea, or you just don't care?
The newest chapter is in production now. Here is a sample of it.
Freedom Fighter was preoccupied. To be more precise, he was listening to music. Vinyl Scratch had put an astonishing amount of dubstep on the tape she had given him.
The epic tale has been refreshed and updated with a new chapter. Equestria prepares for war, and Marshal Malice makes a bold move to crush the path of the Ten Souls.
Tomorrow morning on the 31st, a new chapter will be released for my grand, epic tale, called Equestria at War. More movement is coming into play as ambassadors meet to discuss the fate of the continent, and a surprise move by Marshal Malice puts the trapped Mane Six in peril.
The name of this chapter is just Courage. You can infer what happens here.
I'm telling you, this newest chapter is going to be great. Action, horror, a big, desperate fight beneath the surface, and a surprise at the end. You'd better read it. And please, leave a comment if you like it. I live for your feedback.
Yes, folks, I'm making a new story. It's a short one-shot, of course, and it's comedic in nature. But you'll like this one. It'll keep you satisfied until the next chapter of A Rather Large Adventure is out--which is going to be called The Mettle of Courage, by the way. It'll be awesome. I promise.
But onto my side one-shot now. My proposal is below.
What if a red and black alicorn came to Equestria...but the Mane Six don't respond to him the way they otherwise would in alicorn stories?
Up next, on A Rather Large Adventure...
Firestorm leaned his head back so far he almost keeled over. "WHAT THE CRAP IS THAT?!"
This has been a sneak preview of A Rather Large Adventure.
A Rather Large Adventure will update tomorrow morning. Be on the lookout for the most eventful episode of the journey so far, and read it as a Christmas present to you.
Srsly, y'all are amazing.
On Christmas, the newest chapter of A Rather Large Adventure will drop. It will contain magic, secrets, shadows...and the traveling party's separation.
It's called Maretania.
The Ten Souls discover secrets in the abandoned city and descend into the catacombs beneath. There they find ancient magic and sealed-away danger--separating the group almost indefinitely.
A Rather Large Adventure is finally updated. Those who wish to read about the journeys of the Mane Six to Maretania, and about the wake of destruction the Noxxa leave in their wake, read it now, while it's still hot and fresh. Click on the tagged story in this blog post for easiest access.
