Short blog to give y'all a small update on the next chapter of Remnants.

We're taking a short break from Flickering Flame to head back to the world of Remnant. We'll visit Mountain Glenn and brawl in the streets of Vale in the next chapter.

Making this post regarding My headcanons of RWBY, as at least one of them will become relevant to the story soon. I'll let you try to figure out which one. In the event that these get disproven (either by Word of God or by the show) I revise the story.

- Blake (and by extension, all Faunus) can "communicate" with animals in some fashion. Faunus don't actually speak to/understand them, but can pick up on the animals' mannerisms and body language better than humans.

Out of the hospital, and damn it I'm tired.

Doctors still don't know why I seized. It could have been dehydration, or even because my protein levels were kinda low. We don't know. The swelling is also a mystery.

There is something going on with my kidneys – what exactly is a mystery. They're running some tests, they'll figure it out. They also did a spinal tap, which is where they extract some spinal fluid from me for testing. That turned out fine.

On Monday, I went to the emergency room because large, swollen bumps were appearing all over my body. They diagnosed it, but recommended I go to see my doctor the next morning. I did so.

After that appointment, I went home. At this point the bumps had turned into hives and rashes. To add to this, my hands and feet were majorly swollen. I had been prescribed a steroid, but needed food before I could take it. I woke from my nap and walked to the kitchen.

First, my mom up and left. Finally got a car, and she drove off in the middle of the night without telling anybody. She has since returned briefly to pack her things but she is now somewhere that I don't give a fuck about. I'm still kinda processing this so this is one reason that updates are delayed.

I wish i could say more... But i can't. Legal issues have dictated that i immediately cease all work in the story. The only thing I can say is that the story would end with the Sirens embracing the magic of singing folk songs to elderly people, and Sunset is revealed to actually be a Hispanic man in disguise.
