"Wait, what do you mean, there was music in the 70s other than disco?" --An actual person
King Crimson - Larks' Tongues in Aspic Part I: 4:49 to 6:01
There's a reason Robert Fripp once likened Bruford and Wetton to a "flying brick wall".
King Crimson - Easy Money (live 1973): The whole thing.
Ditto.
Brand X - Nuclear Burn: 5:18 onwards.
A while back, someone lodged a complaint about all my Metallica-related posts using "Enter Sandman." To that person (whose name escapes me at the moment), I give you something using "Sad But True" (which, as it turns out has pretty much the same chord progression as "Superstition" by Stevie Wonder).
Before I really focused in on writing (and to a lesser extent photography) as my preferred form of creative expression, I tried out plenty of other things, including music. I recently decided to have a listen to some of them after having ignored them for years, and most of my audio dabblings don't really hold up (at least to my ears). This one wasn't too bad, though.

This is the blog in which I will link to a video for every song name I've used for a chapter title. The list will be updated every so often.
Head below the break for the list of songs.
*Edited down to links. It makes things easier on all of us.
Like it fits the mood just right and you can just let your emotions out and feel very special. I really like this artist music, I have been listening to him for the past days.
Here is two of his songs:
This thing called love I just can't handle it
this thing called love I must get round to it
I ain't ready
Crazy little thing called love
This (This Thing) called love
(Called Love)
It cries (Like a baby)
In a cradle all night
It swings (Woo Woo)
It jives (Woo Woo)
It shakes all over like a jelly fish,
I kinda like it
Crazy little thing called love
There goes my baby
She knows how to Rock n' roll
She drives me crazy
She gives me hot and cold fever
I've got a new, partially pony-themed EP up on my Bandcamp page, so… click on the image, and… head on over there. I'll wait.
In other news, my previous EP, Equestria, is no longer an EP. It is now a full-fledged album, as there were too many tracks on it to be considered an EP any more.
I'm so tired of being here
Suppressed by all my childish fears
And if you have to leave
I wish that you would just leave
'Cause your presence still lingers here
And it won't leave me alone
These wounds won't seem to heal
This pain is just too real
There's just too much that time cannot erase
When you cried I'd wipe away all of your tears
When you'd scream I'd fight away all of your fears
Yeah...Kinda had this song stuck in my head for a couple days now so...
You're broken down and tired
Of living life on a merry-go-round
And you can't find the fighter
But I see it in you so we gonna walk it out
And move mountains
We gonna walk it out
And move mountains
And I'll rise up
I'll rise like the day
I'll rise up
I'll rise unafraid
I'll rise up
And I'll do it a thousand times again
Its 4ish am, ive thrown something in my back. But screw it, music for folks to enjoy.
https://marycrowell.bandcamp.com/album/acolytes-of-the-machine-other-gaming-stories A lovely voice, a good quirky humor, and dear hell are there some gems in here. Very much D&D influenced. Devil of Stories, and Pretty Little Ladies are my favorites, though danged if Act 3 doesnt find a way in too. And Oh milo is downright chilling. A balletto for rufus, oooh, that just begs for the fey muse to run..
Once upon a time I started to write a fic (In The Money), it wasn't too bad, but by Luna was it time consuming. I kinda-sorta gave up, but who knows, I might get really bored and carry on...
Anyway! I've gotten into what I'm really about, and started to produce music, and I will now shamelessly self promote:
