This is likely the fifteenth time you've heard about this, but please take a moment to read this blog by horizon. It is about super-bad, super-important things.

Local extremely coolperson Skeeter the Lurker is in some real dire straits and could use the community's help! Here's hoping things go better for him. D:
VisualPony has done a reading of PinkamenaPiePrincess's classic The Battle of Fort Book!
Toldja I was doing another one today! :V
You know, despite how often these top ten blogs lead me to having to read extremely long stories, I actually really enjoy the format? Like, I'm kind of sad I only have to do one of these a year now. It's a great excuse to read random stuff, often including things I've been wanting to read but never had the chance to. And in case you're unfamiliar with the format, here's the layout of each review:
Title of Top Ten fic
VisualPony's channel has been going nuts lately, literally uploading every day, so tons of readings are happening, including! Mlp_Starry_Night's A Glow in the Sky! Masterweaver's DUDE.! tzening's Aren't We Forgetting Something?! Masterweaver's Princess
As part of the Generation 5 Bingo Writing Contest, I promised I'd review the winners, and they've finally been release, so here we are! :D I organized them in order from bottom to top vis-a-vis the official rankings.

You know what we haven't had in a long time? Someone entering the fic-reviewing gig. Mike Cartoon Pony's first foray into reviewing is honestly a big deal, since over the last few years, we've really only seen people get out of doing it. He's a Smart Person of Good Taste, and it also looks like he's using Scribbler's readings as guideposts, so be sure to give him a follow and get ready
Happy birthday, Leap Year babies! Only another year before you get to see your shadows again. :)
Illya Leonov's newest reading is boardgamebrony's It Moves Below!
Midnight29 has done a reading of SPark's Another Battle in the Long War Between Light and Darkness!
Looks like ScarlettBlade is calling it quits. :( He's been around forever, though, I guess can't complain if he feels it's time to move on.
But hey, Scribbler's still around, and her latest reading is Skywriter's Roaming, with Clever Hooves, StarryFlame and NeighratorPony!
Yes, it's time for another reader-centric review slate, this time brought to you by Voiceguy Narrates Stuff! He's still active, but his content has been exclusively video game-focused for about the last three years. Also, he had a tendency to read the first chapter of stories and never continue, or read incomplete stories, not to mention he read a ton of just really bad fics, so I have skipped a whole bunch
Hey, y'all, local kool dood Super Trampoline did a reading of one of my fics, go check it out. :D
ShadowOfCygnus has done a reading of Super Trampoline's White Space! Scribbler, along with a sizeable cast, have done a reading of Fighting Scars! (Sadly, the story itself seems to have been removed from Fimfiction since I reviewed it. :/)
I am a fat sack of shit. D: As of now, I have done zero writing today (yesterday by this time, I had at least done some fiction-unrelated writing), including editing that story I posted the draft for yesterday. :( I don't think I'm cut out to be a professional writer.
VisualPony's newest readings include RarityEQM's Forever and Shhhhhhhh, Ruirik's Hey Jealousy, Martian's Dance, and bahatumay's Ten of Cups!
Nothing important has happened since the last one, save that I finished that big audiobook! Or, more to the point, stopped it at not even the one-third mark. Read below to find out why! Only three more readings until the next one! D:

ShadowOfCygnus has done a reading of Oroboro's Little Apple!
This month's selection of flash fiction features monsters, love, and a little bit of sadness. It's another really good edition. :) (But really, make sure you read Claire Weinraub's Top Five Sea Monster Stories.)
Holy shit, happy Friday the 13th. :B Yesterday was full of crap, so I ain't worried.
Happy Halloween, if you're into that!
Have you heard of Night Mind? I hope you have, though I'd imagine it's more likely if you enjoy dark stories. Even if you don't, be sure to check out this video, wherein he details the lives of four great American horror writers in his supremely mellifluous voice.
