Basic facts:
It hit the featured list late yesterday evening and is currently hovering at #7! As a consequence, I’m releasing chapter 4 today to maintain its momentum. Hopefully that will help keep its heat level high for a bit!
I’m very gratified to know it’s a hit, and a warm welcome all new readers! If I could make just one request, folks? Please comment! Comments are a part of the heat level calculation, and I really would like to know what people think!
This is it. Nightmare Night is upon us. Will Blackbat be stopped or will his reign of terror continue...FOREVER?!
== Attention, fellow bronies! ==
Chapter 2 of Trixie's Alter Ego is still in the works and it's nearing completion.
And since it contains frightening nature and horrifying details of warping reality [Sorry. Not gonna spoil it for you!], I think I might upload this chapter on Halloween night!
Give or take the day after.
Look forward to lose your minds with fear in my newest installment of this amazing horror!
The mystery is afoot... No... Ahoof? Anyway, as the mystery grows thicker it is up to you to solve it, in...
Now that chapter 3 is out, it is time for you to interrogate the witnesses and gather clues to what really happened. Who is the one responsible for this mess?
Now go forth! And have a good day.
As seems to be the case so often for my writings, the new bonus chapter I'm attempting to do has expanded beyond the bounds of a single chapter, and may end up being as many as three before all is said and done. It's not possible for me to finish it all by the weekend, but since a release was promised on Halloween, you'll still get it in the form of a 5k word chapter that will serve as the intro to the Gilda action, 3rd person but told from her perspective.
"I'm waiting in my cold cell when the bell begins to chime
Reflecting on my past life and it doesn't have much time
'Cause at 5 o'clock, they take me to the Gallows Pole
The sands of time for me are running low, yeah!
When the priest comes to read me the last rites
I take a look through the bars at the last sights
Of a world that has gone very wrong for me
Can it be that there's some sort of error
As I stated in my last update I was working on another short story for the Nightmare Night (🎃Halloween🎃) season, well I can now say that the story is ready for release. When will I release it... admittedly, I'm not too sure when. I'm kind of leaning toward the 22nd of this month. Or maybe the 29th... Like I said, I'm not too sure yet.
CALLING ANY AND ALL ARTISTS, ART ENTHUSIASTS, OR ANY LOOKING TO ACCEPT THIS SPOOKY CHALLENGE!!
Meant to post this a few days ago, but there's still plenty of time on this.
It's April, which means it's time for the annual Horror Write-Off I run every year, Nightmare Night in April!
The event is simple: in order to encourage more horror writing, I hold a write-off event in which anyone can submit a Horror Story, to be compiled by April 30th, the opposite day of the year from Halloween!
After a full year away. Sorry, folks, but so many other things had my attention and priority before this. The ending of the story has to wait for Midnight Rising to be finished in order to properly set up the climax, but there’s room for at least one and possibly two more intermediate chapters in the meantime.
Oof, it's been a busy and stressful year. Hope ya'll are having a good time regardless.
I'm on vacation this week so I want to try and get some more things done. So, here is what I have planned for Queen of Crimson Crows in the near future:
Hello everyone and welcome back to the question of the week.
It's early in the morning but I wanted to create this blog before I forgot.
Admittedly, I'm still trying to figure out what I want to do. While a part of me wants to create new story ideas, there is also a part of me that wants to just go back and finish many of the old story ideas that I have.
