So, been slow on most fronts here. I have another job interview lined up Thursday and have been taking care of my mother who is suffering from some pretty severe dementia right now. Nothing like having to run into a room because she's trying to gouge her eyes out or set herself on fire. Then have her explain with full sincerity that she's not figuratively but literally in hell and I'm a demon tormenting her. It's stressful to say the least.

I forgot to add an author note to the first chapter to disclose chapter release schedule. And wanted to address a few other things.

Release schedule
I am currently planning a once a week release schedule on Saturdays. There may be an occasional week skipped. The reason for that is these are not short chapters. I have a primary lead character and two other main characters with perspectives and I intend to give them each time every chapter; that leads to longer chapters.
