How would you react if, in the Avengers, Captain America agreed to bomb a building full of innocent people just to get a few bad guys? How would you feel if Twilight started treating her friends like dirt for no reason? How would you feel if Superman was fighting Zod, not caring about the collateral damage and causing countless deaths?
I saw one of my pals on here write his own blog post about writing tips, so I figured I'd do the same to the few folks who might actually read this. It's not going to be anywhere near as cohesive or detailed as his, but hopefully it will get the job done, and maybe help a few people who have been having some trouble lately.
I don't have much, but what I have is yours. You're all friends, after all. 
I just love writing characters a lot. From heroes, to anti-heroes, to supporting characters, etc. But if there's one thing I'd love to write more, it's the villains and anti-villains. Whether big or small, serious or goofy, sympathetic or monstrous, villains are one of my breads and butters in terms of character writing. I'm not saying that I don't like writing hero characters or any other characters. I just think that villains are the most interesting types of characters from my point of
My cumulative advice for writers has been progressively expanding to an unmanageable point for a single blog post. It’s been taken down to undergo restructuring as to produce a more manageable format. This blog post will be the hub for all subsequent topics and advice. It is broken into sections with a link to the individual posts, while containing a short blurb about the topic in question. If you find a link that doesn't work yet, stay tuned, it will.

Let’s put that in a positive statement. Become attached to your successes. Though. Really. Be suspicious of all attachments in your writing. For beginning and intermediate writers, this almost always means your plot ideas.
There are no new ideas. There, I said it. Not yours, not mine, not anybody’s.

Hey Guys and Gals, since my day is going a little slow, I figured I would post my system of writing so it can show everyone the work I put into each chapter and maybe a hint to help anyone who is writing themselves. Get some pure green tea and then get a juicy lemon, cut a slice out of it (not too thick, otherwise you're going to be having a citrus acid attack) and place it into the cup after you've poured boiling water into it and removed the tea bag. Make sure it's the first thing you put into your body, don't even eat anything before you drink it.

The most fundamental misconception in all of literature occurs when the reader assumes that if a character believes (or says) a thing, then that thing must be true. This assumption undermines the very concept of characters as people, since it goes against the first rule of humanity:
