A lot of things have been happening to my body and brain, and so far it has mostly been ordeals without a clear resolution (low response means we had to try a new anesthetic that hurts like fire going in, might be changing electrode placement which could lead to memory loss, the vein the anesthetic went in when I woke up during the procedure is hardened and itchy now, and so on). I'm starting a new medication, which will ideally help with my depression and anxiety! Also, it's supposed to pair well with my ADHD meds, so it'll also help with that a bit as well. Very exciting! I'm not looking forward to the transitional period, but there's little I can do about that. It'll be worth it if these meds end up helping me more.

I'll make a blog about the shit I've been up to some other time. Right now, I'm kind of having a huge emergency -- except it's not impacting me. It's impacting my boyfriend. He's disabled and trying to get a car... the problem is his family is filled with other people who are disabled and they have no working vehicle. They live in poverty. I'm broke from getting my friends -- as well as him and his family -- many Christmas gifts. I have nothing near the money to help them get an emergency car.
