Well, 2023 is coming to an end. Hope the next year will be better
So... A series that I initially thought was going to be something grossly saccharine and pandering to girly stereotypes as I'd perceived the franchise my whole life, that me and my then girlfriend, now wife, decided to check out for laughs, only utterly fall in love with (the first episode we saw being Applebuck Season) has come to an end after nine seasons. How do I feel?
I'll have more to say on the subject when I get some free time.
P.S. Another chapter of Princess Twilight’s Yacht Vacation has been submitted with an author's note at the end.
Been a while, eh? A part of me wants to put a joke there, maybe a "kept you waiting, huh?" reference, but I don't think this is the blog for it.
Just a heads up, this isn't going to be a fun blog.
There may be some of you out there that might be wondering why "New Rev" is taking so long to update. Well, to be honest, the main reason it's taking too long is because of the ending.
I accidentally published the unfinished chapter yesterday and took it down a few moments later, but now it's ready!
(Also, I don't believe that the story's able to make the Updated Stories list this time since it's a chapter that technically was already posted.)
Sometime around the end of the month or the beginning of 2020, I will talk about a list of major TV shows/film franchises that have ended in 2019. I noticed that a lot of them have received conclusions this year, which, in my opinion, is pretty fitting, seeing how this is the last year of the 2010s. And boy, has this decade been a wild rollercoaster! So be on the lookout, because I will be posting it soon!
Until next time!
I think you're probably supposed to do these retrospectives before the new year begins, if only just, but I haven't had time (and I was at a New Year's party all last night if that's any excuse), so I'll just put my thoughts on the year that has just gone by, and what may be waiting for us in the year that now is.
Some Hasbro documents leaked. Well, there still a chance that it a hoax, but considering that together with documents also leaked several episodes of season eight and several EG shorts... There a chance that all of this is true.
Added "alternative ending" to Obsession and Regression. It's been kicking around my page for a couple years, thought I'd post it.
The chapter is just something I did as an exercise for fun. What would happen if the bad ponies won? Writing it, it started a bit absurd, but that's part of the fun.
Those who like the story and are interested, enjoy
I have been sitting on the ending of this story for somewhere around a year now, and I haven't posted it because let's face it. This story is so old, and so full of errors both grammar and structure wise, that it is virtually unreadable. Now you may have remembered why it was canceled is because I plan to rewrite it one day, and I mean completely as it will be removed from Dark Souls when I do get to it. So don't worry that the ending to this story will reveal or ruin the plot of Amber's Story
The final chapter of A Third Chance to Find a Family is published. But this blog isn't entirely about that, since I spent 500 words on the author's notes.
What this is about is the sequels. I have two sequels planned, as I've mentioned before. One is basically telling the story of Friendship Games and Legend of Everfree. The other is some grand adventure in Equestria that I highly doubt I'll ever complete.
So, MLP:FiM/G4 has come to an end, not counting the semi-official ideas of season 10 being continued in comic form and such. I won't do any big spoiler stuff in case some people haven't seen it yet (though I'm pretty sure most ppl saw the ending already when the eps leaked).
Next week is the last post of Rules of Hospitality, the epilogue is coming and will officially mark the end of the Rules main series (assuming I don't get another random hair up my ass). Seriously, though, the Rules series was the story of giving all the Sirens a lovely happy ending, and since I've done that I'm not sure that's really any more to do in terms of a big main storyline.
With that said... I'm not done yet.
Yeah, it's that time of year. Gilda rises again, now with more trains. And this is just the beginning. I got like... 50k? Yeah, 50k words in the backlog ready to be edited. We're getting a summer of Gilda. Also, I'm right around the corner to start writing up the END GAME. The END GAME should be coming along later this year, I guess, and then the story will be done. That's right, you'll be reading the END GAME soon, and right after that, THE END. If sources are correct, who'd have
