Spoiler alert for chapter 241 - Full Potential and chapter 242 - Breaking Point.
Just a quick reminder that if you've got a question for the Dusk Guard, to check the official Q&A post from yesterday. Tomorrow I'll be posting answers, so time is running out to ask your burning questions!
For those of you who are up to date with the latest Beyond the Borderlands chapters, Mane 6 Pets has started an interesting discussion in the Dusk Guard Group, one concerning all the major revelations that have dropped over the last ten or so chapters (READ: lots of spoilers if you aren't caught up) with regards to the immortals.
I said I was gonna do a prequel, and I'm doing a prequel!
Set to contain lots of fluffy Sonata/Luna bonding, lots of backstory on the other mane five, and some unexpected twists!
Just finished my super-quick bout of inspiration featuring everyone's favorite siren.
At least I think she's everyone's favorite. If not, something's wrong.
Still pending approval for now, but get it here, or on my front page.
Enjoy, and thanks for reading!
The Dusk Guard Saga: Hunter/Hunted's Alpha 1 is now at 74,000 words, and part 2 is underway. Action has happened. Bones have been broken. Magic has been magic'd.
You know, pretty much what you'd expect from a dangerous group of elite guard.
So yeah, just keeping the word out. Hunter/Hunted will be out this year. When I won't say. But out it will be!
Greetings and Salutations, my name is Wrex and this is my review. The story I'll be reviewing is the sequel to 'The Dawn of a New Mission', it's 'The Dusk of Troubled Views'. As I'm sure you all know, that story tells how Tirek, Cozy Glow, and Chrysalis are reformed by Luster Dawn. The sequel to it takes place in that timeline. The twists and surprise in this sequel are interesting enough to make your head spin. In a good way. And there's a surprising twist that's the icing on the cake. There
AYE AYE, CAPTAIN!
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHH--
Splintershard drops at 12:00 AM MST tonight!
The Question
It took all of three days from the time The Dusk Guard: Beyond the Borderlands first appeared on Fimfiction for someone to make a comment wondering and predicting when the Dusk Guard were going to show up.
All right! Who is ready for part 2? I know I am! We've got a lot of fun coming, and it starts tomorrow morning!
Speaking of fun, someone has finally started updating the TV Tropes page to catch up! The section for Beyond the Borderlands has been pretty empty, but it looks like the developments of Chapter 18 were enough to get some people touching it up again! Thanks, whoever you are!
My first encounter with the Nightmare left me unconscious and near death, where I had another dream, much like those that came before it, and like those dreams, I had learned much. I still had much to learn however.
Hey guys, Viking ZX here, borrowing a computer to make a post in the early hours of the Alaskan morning (we've still got a few days until we ship out, so I can still get on the grid).
HEY! New 'WAWWA' Chapter up. Kay, now that that's out of the way...
Sorry, I've been so quiet lately. Have a ton of stuff going on in life, but I'm still around. Here have some stuff pertaining to the next chapter as an I'm sorry:
Here's the instrumental for an upcoming song. I'm sooo proud of this one, y'all. I think this now tops out 'Call in the Dark' as my fav composition for this fic thus far. And, oh yea. Sonata's got jams now too, apparently.
Cross-post from Tumblr;
Just a sketch.
He’s supposed to vaguely resemble a humanized Dusk Shine, and the colors allude to that. The image is an abstraction for certain types of anxiety I tend to feel quite a lot.
"Hold up, hold up.” Hunter held up his hooves once more, and the group stopped, though they were all still looking at him with expectant eyes. And I get to tell them what’s happened. Great. As if they haven’t had enough shocks for the day. “Who’s in charge?” he asked. “Not the Order, but locally. There has to be some kind of local leadership or somepony you all turn to, right?”
Hey readers! Viking here with a bunch of answers for the Q&A!
I'll admit, I've been looking forward to answering each one of these as they popped up in my feed. It's been a long time since I've done a Q&A, and I'd forgotten how fun it is! In fact, I think I'll do one for Colony next. Which is fitting as Jungle draws closer with every day, and I need to start upping the hype for it.
Elusive came into an establishment. A nightclub round about Manehattan. Nondescript area, back alley. It's not someplace immediately recognizable to the general public.
