Readers! I have news! For you! Which I mentioned in Monday’s Being a Better Writer post but is finally getting its own post here. Submission calls are open for LTUE’s fourth Benefit Anthology, Parliament of Wizards!
Since Georg has a story about shoeing, now’s my chance to lay some true facts on y’all!
So, I have been keeping up with releasing one story a month this year, somehow. Even though I’ve been suffering through some Writer’s Block and diverging interests, I have managed to keep releasing a story (of varying quality) every month.
Now, this month is National Novel Writing Month.
I already have a lot to do with school, and I’ll be getting a job soon, too. I won’t be able to participate in NaNo and write some one-shot I have no clear ideas for.
I’ve been re-reading Scott McCloud’s Understanding Comics, and I have at least one blog post planned based on that book. If you’ve never read it, it is an interesting read, and at some point, I’ll likely write a review of the book, but I can tell you that if you’re interested in comics as a medium, it is well worth your time.

Welcome back!
Today we’re going to lead off with an easy one, but don’t be caught off-guard. What follows was a descent into madness. Have your favorite beverage on standby.
And another chapter of "Aegis" is finished! Next up on the list of personal nightmares is Corn Pops. He meets his mom again but, just like Curtain Call had to find out, she's not quite the same mom he remembers.
Corn Pops has to be a very tough boy in this next chapter:
It is time for an insight..... As I announced a few days ago, I will write a story for Nightmare Night again this year, and now, I will give you a small preview of it.
DATELINE: the American Midwest. An innocent man struggles to find parking in Local Biggish City, child in tow, wife waiting at home--and all feeling desperate. Back home, the fridge is empty, save for leftovers of dubious vintage; and the pantry is that curious mix of stuffed-to-the-gills yet containing absolutely nothing. To make matters worse, he is ill, and has taken to wearing one of those uncomfortable blue mask thingies for the good of his fellow man.
I posted an expanded and revised version of a story I wrote for the “I Regret Nothing” writeoff today!

October is here..... And you all know what this means.

Chapter 3 of "Aegis" is now uploaded, ready to frighten and disturb you:
This blog entry is a follow-up to: A Depressing Move: The End of "The Brony Network" and How Our Future Shouldn't Look Like.

It’s not a planned stop, not even the more accustomed unplanned stop where Sweetsong wants to go further but the train doesn’t. After the tunnel, she just has to have sky and openness to decompress.
Hey folks. Captain Morgan here, and I'm just here because Karma's too lazy to blog herself. Basically, she/he/it wrote a new article about a user who recently got busted for child pornography possession and tried to garner sympathy with a sob story on his blog. It's pretty disgusting. You can find the story in the link down below.
It's the midst of October, the darkest and most scary month of the year, and Chapter 2 of "Aegis" is here now! We continue through the story with a slow pace, but all things are set up now to get really serious for the foals:
The newest chapter of "Aegis" is live now! After Fast Bun and Curtain Call, it is now Starlet Radiance's turn to face her darkest nightmare! Go and read Chapter 5 here, brave squad of readers, and get your tissues ready, this one will be more heartwrenching than scary:
Today I was giving a customer a ride home, and she started talking about Kobe, and then asked if I though he was the happiest man on Earth.
I said that I didn’t know.
And by the time I’d dropped her off at her house and started on the way back, I had most of the plot of this story in place.
