Couldn't really get into the pacing of the first one, but I loved the second one
And once I played through with him, Axton became my go-to badass, his style works perfectly for me, I'm like a slow moving, head shot spewing tortoise.

My first play through of Borderlands was with Mordecai.

Same with Borderlands 2. I chose Zero.
Then the Mechromancer came out and the rest is history.

My first playthrough on 2 was the Siren, I liked her, then Axton, and then zer0,
Axton is still my favorite, I love pitching a mag-locked turret with longbow tech and rocket launchers, insanely overpowered against everything but the biggest badasses
