I’ve always been somewhat apprehensive towards Rarity because I feel that she is leading Spike on whether she realizes it or not. I’m looking for any fimfic where Spike gets rejected and either gets payback on Rarity or turns her down. Anyone know something like that, please let me know.

The day spike stopped caring by B_25 is the only one that comes to mind, despite having read a fair amount of fics like the one you describe.

A week on a cruise is the only one who I know. In that series rarity gets a major dose of karma. The author eventually plans to write rarity in the afterlife being punished for her behavior and hopefully regretting it.
