Octavia Melody struggles after Vinyl Scratch's untimely death.friend who meant more to Octavia than she even realized. Mourning and
music are experimented with, in textual and subtextual ways. The ending,
while expected (since the alternative would be criticized for
nihilism), is arrived at after some unique twists and turns for a "sad"
story about mourning while moving forward with life. (Submitted here
because it is a good piece by a relatively new author who could use some
support for the author's most ambitious piece-yet.)
